It is clear that many people say that Real Madrid will advance to the next round and this has been proven by the results of the matches that have been completed. In addition, Liverpool this season has not been good enough with the performance they have shown in most of the matches played by Liverpool so the result he got against Real Madrid is a very decent result even though it is very painful for Liverpool fans.
Liverpool are not in their best form in the English league, but they have impressed in the Champions League with only 1 defeat in the group stage. I can only imagine that if Liverpool had not met Real Madrid they would have advanced to the quarter-finals this season, but unfortunately Liverpool are still having a hard time beating Real Madrid.

Klopp must have realized what Liverpool are lacking this season especially in the Champions League, so he should be able to quite cover the same gap next season if he stays at Liverpool longer. Meanwhile, Klopp must struggling to qualify for the Champions League next season after being left behind by many points from Tottenham until Week 26.

Liverpool are not confident about a comeback to even qualify for the quarter-finals, I think it is also difficult for Liverpool to score 4 goals against Madrid without replying, on the contrary, Madrid scored 1 additional goal in this second leg, I think people already know yesterday's match the result is that madrid will advance to the quarter-finals.  Wink

How can Liverpool have such good confidence after their heavy defeat in the first leg with 2-5? I never expected them to win the second leg, in the end my hopes were right even though I predicted Real Madrid could win 3-1 in the second leg. But it doesn't matter, the final aggregate is 6-2 to qualify for the quarter-finals, fantastic.

Then next, I think our move would have been difficult had Napoli and Bayern Munich been opponents for the draw. I know Napoli is good, Munich is good and both teams are really going to make it difficult for Real Madrid. I don't expect either of these two teams to meet Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, but if they do then I hope we have a solution to qualify.

I'm sure a lot of us here hat goals in Real - Liverpool right ? The game really looked like no one could score if no one makes a mistake or big luck is involved and that is exactly what happened because Real scored by luck in my opinion but on the other side , Liverpool had no power to score 1 goal ? I mean , it doesn't even looked they were trying or maybe Real is really that good in defense.
Real Madrid plays much better than Liverpool regardless of whether the goal they scored against them was luck or not. Real Madrid does put up their best effort to win matches in the championship than any other league game they are into, in respect of the team they are playing against.

Liverpool is been kicked out of the championship league, even the premier league's top position. So they are going to end up this year with no single trophy (trophyless)

After many attempts, the current Napoli team is rewriting Italian history by becoming the first set of teams to reach the quarter-finals. I never had any doubts about their first leg, and the second leg is a complete confirmation of the first with an aggregate of 5-0, something some of the best teams couldn't do and they proudly did. The next stage of the Quater Final is what I'm worried about; it may be too difficult to get through in my opinion. Inter has played Napoli a couple of times and they are second in their domestic league, but they always win or draw Napoli; I hope that doesn't happen again in this stage of the Quater Final.
Napoli's performance is stunning. And they deserve to be in the quarter finals. With a good striker like Osimhen who did a wonderful heading and he keeps scoring in all the league. Osimhen is on fire this season. He is one big player Napoli wouldn't want to loose. Their team work was excellence.  And like they saying goes about team work "team work makes the dream work". They are on the edge of victory and if they eventually win the champions league, Osimhen will move to the Premier league.

Napoli's performance is getting stronger day by day. The players of the team are gaining confidence. Also the bonding between them is very strong now. And if the team is able to maintain the consistency of this performance, and if no important players of the team face injuries, then the Napoli team has a great chance of winning the Champions League title this season. Napoli's performance seems more consistent to me than Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or Manchester City.

I'm curious about how far Chelsea can make it in the Champions League from now on. Because they had pretty big problems against Dortmund despite having so many goal opportunities. The first leg was very bad for them as for finishing. The second leg was quite unexpected for me because Dortmund just let them play very comfortably. This time Chelsea were capable of scoring goals thankfully.

But it is really not easy for them to go on like this as long as they become inconsistent. They need to turn this into a habit to score multiple goals in a match. We don't have the old Chelsea which defend amazingly and win matches with scores like 1-0. Their defending isn't that good now.

I will wait tomorrow to see the draw results. I think Real Madrid is more likely to meet one of the Serie A teams than one of the Premier League teams. If that turns out to be true, then I hope Real Madrid will meet Napoli, not Inter or Milan. Napoli is deserve for Real Madrid because I don't expect them to meet the same team in the Champions League as last season. But let's wait for the drawing results tomorrow.
It will be interesting to wait for the results of the draw for the last 8 of the Champions League and I think representatives from one country will most likely meet because the placement of one country plot has been abolished, three representatives from Serie-A, two representatives from the Premier League, one representative from La Liga, one representatives from the Bundesliga and one representative from Portugal.

If Real Madrid meets Napoli then this will be the big match that many football lovers have been waiting for, because the last time they met was in 2017 in the race for a quarter-final ticket which was won by Real Madrid. So it will be very difficult for us to predict the course of the match, especially since Napoli is currently in its best form in both Serie A and the Champions League.

This draw will decide whether we are going to lose some big names in the quarter finals already. In a worst case scenario we have two matchups between Real Madrid, Bayern, Man City and Napoli. I wouldn't like that. I hope for some of the bigger names to reach the final. Sure the best teams hopefully win, no matter who that is, but that's up to everyone's taste in the end.

First of all let's wait and see whether the UEFA is able to conduct the draw without any mistakes as they happened some time ago. Obviously, there were claims that it might have been rigged, but that probably goes a bit too far.

Yes, it looks like they have lost their mentality after losing the first leg at home with a crushing score too. It's very sad when they don't do anything in this match, but I still appreciate their efforts to fight until the end. I actually turned to Jurgen Klopp and how his expression was throughout the match, from what I saw, the coach had indeed resigned himself to the outcome of the game in their last game in the Champions League this season. He really looked like a confused person in that match.

Liverpool is already out of the quarter-finals this season, as their consistent losses have led to the club's inability to meet up with the basic point requirements to qualify for that round, the worst thing is that their loss to real Madrid again last night.

If that turns out to be true, then I hope Real Madrid will meet Napoli, not Inter or Milan. Napoli is deserve for Real Madrid because I don't expect them to meet the same team in the Champions League as last season. But let's wait for the drawing results tomorrow.

The following is the draws procedure:

UEFA Champions League quarter-final, semi-final and final draws

Quote
Can teams from the same country play each other in the Champions League quarter-finals?
Yes, it is an open draw. There are no seedings and no country protection, so clubs can face opposition from the same national association and teams they previously came up against in the group stage.

How does the Champions League quarter-final draw work?
Eight balls containing the names of the quarter-finalists are placed in a large central bowl and shuffled. The first team drawn plays its first match at home, against the second team drawn. The procedure is repeated with the remaining balls in the bowl to complete the quarter-final pairings.

Are the Champions League semi-finals drawn at the same time?
Yes. For the semi-final draw, four balls containing slips of paper marked 'Winners of quarter-final 1' to 'Winners of quarter-final 4' are placed in a large central bowl and shuffled. The first and second balls drawn determine the first semi-final pairing, the first ball drawn representing the home team for the first leg. The procedure is repeated with the remaining balls in the bowl to complete the semi-final pairings.

There will then be a third draw to determine the 'home' side in the final for administrative reasons.

There were a lot of reasons to believe Liverpool would lose, remember they were playing the defending champion with the most experience and victories in the game. Their deficit of 5-2 was too much to overcome, plus they were playing in a stadium with similar size and a similar atmosphere. It's unfortunate that Liverpool is having a bad run of games with a loss against a lower-league team in their last match, this result was not good for Real madrid game

Well, I think we all also realize that it is difficult for Liverpool to come back and moreover the opponent is Real Madrid as the best team in Europe. But at least, even though Liverpool have certainly not qualified, but Liverpool should be ambitious and have the ability to score goals. Because if Liverpool can score goals then of course, Liverpool are still seen as having better morale even though in the end they still don't qualify.

I don't know if the goals scored in the second leg were a lucky or not, but at least with Real Madrid still getting one goal, of course Real Madrid are still playing with better morale. Because if Real Madrid wanted to play more relaxed, basically they could still end the match without a goal, but perhaps because Liverpool were too weak, and then Real Madrid could still win in the second leg.

This match, did not really present high enough tension for me who watched it as a football connoisseur. the course of the competition, running quite tough. in the first half, Liverpool put up a fairly even resistance to the home team. in fact, they have the same opportunities that Madrid have. Madrid had 9 attempted shots, 4 on target, 2 off the mark, 3 shots blocked. while Liverpool, they had 8 total shots, 4 of which were on target, three shots off target, 1 shot blocked.
Walking was quite tough but made Liverpool finally not realize that time was running out. So that without Pep Guardiola knowing it, Ancelotti had mastered the rhythm of the game until the second half ended. Doesn't Real Madrid always show aggressive play in minutes that are difficult for other clubs to chase when under pressure? With capital in Leg 1, Real Madrid can play without a burden and can more calmly control the situation on the field. Meanwhile, Liverpool will be a little divided in focus where there is a target to catch points.

Liverpool had no chance since the club was losing so many goals in the first leg. The fact that if it was also shaking the mentality of the players in the second leg. If liverpool was not even able to beat real madrid by playing at home and how could liverpool beat madrid at santiago bernabeu? that thing that doesn't sound make sense is some people still tried to go all in on liverpool. I did know if they were liverpool believers but they have not even accepted the truth.

Glad to see that madrid was kicking out liverpool from UCL. A weak team like liverpool deserves no spot in UCL. Ancellotti has proven that he has learned a lot from the match against chelsea last season.
Will real madrid face chelsea again in the last 8? that will be very interesting match to be true.

Congrats on the win! Disappointing it is not for more money but you know your football! If you put $50 on that bet you would have a very nice return now. Make sure you post your predictions on this topic because we would all like to see your insight into things and maybe help us win some money too! I would have never thought Manchester City would win by more then 5 goals but they are one of the best teams left in the competition and could win the competition if they have favorable games from now to the end.
Thank you man, I also don't think that my betting predictions are all correct, but indeed if I use large enough money then I will get more profits. But I'm here just trying to predict the outcome of the game and not think too much about using a lot of money to bet. The main point of my bet is the level of prediction accuracy for the match and I am very happy with this result. I have shared betting predictions quite often in this thread and also football threads in other leagues, if you have seen these posts I hope they can help you when making bets later. Manchester City is indeed one of the candidate teams for the UCL championship this season and I think they will still score goals no matter what because the previous aggregate points were a draw against Leipzig.

Good odd win, really nice parlay i like it. Too bad about Porto that they didnt score they had some big chances in last minutes against Inter. Too bad you didnt put a larger amount so that you can crown this bet better. But still a win is a win.
The last chance I remember from Porto was when the ball bounced 2 times against the goalposts and when I watched the game I screamed because I thought it was almost a goal for Porto. But it doesn't matter, at least I can still win even though the result is a draw. Indeed, I don't use big money for betting, but this is enough for me as a reference in the next UCL match.

I expected Real Madrid to win, but I also expected a more meaningful game from Liverpool. Still, they had nothing to lose, this is their last match in the Champions League this season, they could have slammed the door for last, but it is clear that it is difficult for them to play against Real Madrid, although we have to admit that they were much better in defense in the second leg.

Many people already says if in the 2nd leg match between Madrid vs Liverpool will not be interesting because 90% of the chances to qualify is for Madrid. This prediction can be said to be true. 2nd Leg Madrid managed to add 1 goal while Liverpool could not score. Liverpool participation in UCL this season is done, But we have Man City & Chelsea as representatives of the EPL. I think the ideal final for this season is
- Madrid vs Munich or
- Madrid vs City
the rest will be surprise final match (IMO).  Grin
