Technically, Chelsea had a good match at Signal Iduna Park in the first leg of the 1/8 Champions League round, but luck did not laugh at them, they played quite well, Chelsea deserved a goal.
I think Chelsea lacks a sharp goalscorer, this second leg Felix and Havertz need to be sharper, which will help the team turn the game around at Stamford Bridge.

I won't say Chelsea played badly instead they were just unlucky. Him keeping Mudryk up to the minute he kept him in the game was a poor decision considering the poor game he was having. Didn't he see the impact Mason Mount brought into the game when he was substituted on. I think this round isn't over yet, 1:0 isn't a safe scoreline for Dortmund.

In addition to what you have said if Kovacic was on the bench he should have been brought up to replace Cheek, the camera in that game only caught Loftus with the ball with nothing more than three occasion. He was nowhere to be found and he wasn't helping Enzo marking just the way Kante do for Chelsea. Harvert should not be used to play number nine again he had no impact. Thanks to some good defense from Chelsea, the goals should have been doubled

I already predicted that Chelsea will have problems with him being the manager. Hiring this guy as a manager of a multi-million team was a total gamble. Chelsea didn't play that bad in Dortmund, they just need more accuracy in the final stage of the attack. All the new players in Chelsea need time in order to adapt and form a solid squad.
Brugge played really good in the group stage, but I guess that they lack the class to achieve something big in the eliminations phase.
Bayern is about to eliminate PSG. I don't expect the French team to win in Munich. It will be sad to watch Champions League matches without players like Messi and Mbappe.

But indeed in this match Chelsea also played quite well, it's just that their finishing didn't go well and the slick performance of Kobel and the Dortmund defenders really made Chelsea frustrated.

Well, it's more just the perception of defeat, because in fact Chelsea did not play that bad in this match, there were attacks, chances, too, partly unlucky team Potter, partly the goalkeeper Dortmund played great. If not for the goalkeeper, Chelsea would have scored one goal for sure, but it was zero on the scoreboard.

Nevertheless, I agree with the assessment of Potter's work as a head coach, the team as a whole plays as if it were a mid-tier English league, not a club with a billion euro roster.

Felix is always missing the chance. I don't even know why potter is still using him as a striker. He is not good anymore. There are also some strikers that have not got chance. BTW aubameyang is far better than felix. Potter must be stupid enough not to include him in the champion league squad.

It was a miserable match for Chelsea yesterday, Chelsea were unable to capitalize on many chances. Chelsea had 8 of 21 short on target. But could not block any short net. On the other hand, tomorrow's match was very important for Borussia Dortmund. Borussia Dortmund won 2-0 against Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League in September 2014 but since then Chelsea have played a total of 9 matches without a win (D1, L8). Yesterday's match was expected by many to be a convincing victory for Chelsea but Borussia Dortmund came on in the 63rd minute with K. Adeyemi scoring the winning goal which Chelsea were later unable to repay.

Chelsea was playing so garbage against dortmund. Attacking line always becomes the main problem. I saw that if chelsea was not able using some golden chances.
