Kai Havertz is just too poor in that role. I admit they were unlucky at some points in the game but they haven't really improved as a team. This seems to be the major problem now, the team has been showing good improvements defensively and in the midfield but finishing has been the point were the team is really lacking. IMO I think Fofana who is a striker should be played ahead of Kai Havertz in the attacking position for Chelsea and see how productive that could be.

Tbh i wouldn't say Real Madrid are struggling all that much, yes they have fallen a little bit below Barcelona, but they are still very much in contention to win the league title in Spain, the advantage Barcelona has over them is very much recoverable, and thus i think they can bounce back. But in Liverpool's situation, there is no chance of them winning the EPL or even qualifying for the CL through finishing in one of the top four positions, thus they must win the CL this season if they want to play in the CL next season.

Having said that, Liverpool have a very slim chance of winning the CL, i don't even think they would get past Real Madrid in the RO16, with the way Liverpool are playing, it looks like it is going to be pretty easy for Real Madrid to pick them apart; but the good news for Klopp is that some of his injured players are returning back to fitness, thus they might give them a boost and actually give Ancelotti's boys a good run for their money.

Liverpool was feeling so confident with the result against everton in EPL. I think that winning champion league is the only way for liverpool to participate in the champion league next season. it's not possible anymore for liverpool to enter into the top 4.

Liverpool is struggling to return to form. And we see Liverpool's poor performance in the Premier League. I forget the last time I saw a good performance from this team. On the other hand, Real Madrid's performance was unstable while Benzema was injured. But Real Madrid played well in the last match. Benzema is back from injury. Real Madrid won 4-0 against Elche. Real Madrid will win if Benzema is with the squad against Liverpool. And if Benzema can't stay with the squad, it will be difficult for Real Madrid to beat Liverpool.

I don't know the kind of expectation you had for Chelsea. To me, Chelsea didn’t do more than I expected them and they also didn't perform less than I expected them. What they performed is what they were supposed to perform until next season when the signings they are having now will blend well with the team. Then you will see the newly birthed Chelsea where every match would be approached with confidence.

Most of us have given up on Chelsea even before the season began and judging from their previous performance in tge last season and the many crises that have rocked the club which have affected their player's motivation, it is undoubtedly sure that Chelsea will not make any positive impact in this season.
-Chelsea needs a total reformation to be able to get the club on track if not, Chelsea will continue to ride on past glory which is not good for the future of the club.
-I hope before the start of the next season Chelsea will have all that sorted out to have a different good result next season since they have lost out on this season.

I think the result between Dortmund and Chelsea is very logic because the clubs is having two defferent situation in their championship, Dortmund is having a run of 6 victories in a row in all competitions while Chelsea team Keep struggling in the medal of the standings in the EPL, Chelsea must do everything to get the qualification from the second match because that's all what left for them in my opinion

Chelsea give hope to their fans I agree with that, because in this first leg match I can say that their game was more promising even though in the end they still had to narrowly lose by 1 goal to Borussia Dortmund. They still have a chance in the second leg later, they will also be more motivated to avenge their defeat and turn things around so they can get rid of Borussia Dortmund.
