According to my prediction for the first leg, Liverpool will win the game. It's a habit for Real Madrid to lose the first leg, and they will fight it out in the second.
But if we look at the declining performance of Liverpool's players, it might be difficult for them to beat Real Madrid. Moreover, talking about UEFA, Madrid will do anything to get a ticket to the next round. If Real Madrid put young players in the midfield, it will give Real Madrid a bad performance.
Real Madrid doesn't frequently lose in the first leg, on the previous year Real Madrid was only lose for few times. Although Liverpool is strong in Champions League, but their current performance is bad and I don't think they can beat Real Madrid. Well, it's not a bad idea to put young players in the midfield because they also have good performance just like their senior teammates.

Ceballos, Valverde, Tchouameni and Camavinga are good players, Tchouameni just need to learn and have more experience to be as good as Casemiro.

To be honest, I'm running out of words for Liverpool at this time, their performance is really messy after being defeated by Wolverhampton in last night's game in their domestic league. Liverpool, like losing direction and poor overall team performance. I don't understand why Klopp doesn't bring in some newcomers other than Gakpo. at a minimum, there are other options to replace some of the core players who play very underperformed.

I know, Klopp has tried hard to get his team back on track. but if it is not supported by several new arrivals, it seems almost impossible that Liverpool will return to the real track in a short time. plus, some of their players are still injured. even though, the last 16 round of the Champions League is only a matter of days. the next two weeks, the Champions League will soon be rolled back. most likely, Liverpool will find it difficult to overthrow Real Madrid even though they are playing at home in the first leg.

Ceballos and Valverde for the start and Modric I will suggest

Real Madrid has a very good squad and an experienced coach, so it doesn't make sense to start thinking who will start for Real Madrid and who will bench. Whether they start old players or young players they will also get results especially when they have their experienced coach who knows when and how to feature.
Liverpool is not in good form to win Real Madrid convincingly in the Champions League.

Liverpool and Chelsea are unlikely to qualify for the quarter-finals this season following their poor run of form in their Premier League match. Until entering the 20th and 21st weeks, Liverpool and Chelsea both still have not found their best form and this is something that is likely to continue for them in the Champions League. Real Madrid and Dortmund look better in terms of performance than the two Premier League teams above, so I think Dortmund and Madrid will really make it to the quarter-finals this season.

Chelsea have spent a lot of budget this season just to strengthen their team, but the performance is not worth the money they spend. Regarding Liverpool, they have still failed to get good performance where the two English teams are still struggling in 9th and 10th positions so far.
On this point, I have to side with you. Despite the massive financial investment made to strengthen the club, Chelsea has struggled so far this season. The fact that they aren't fulfilling their potential is disheartening. Likewise, Liverpool has had nothing but trouble recently.

As a true Blue, though, I believe Chelsea can still win this thing. I'm still holding out hope for a turnaround since they have a lot of skilled players and a good management. Perhaps they will shock everyone and get to the Champions League quarterfinals where they will be able to play Real Madrid. It wouldn't be unprecedented for a club to make a strong postseason push and go far in the playoffs.

Among the preseason favorites, Dortmund and Real Madrid stand out as two of the best. They have a number of skilled players and are putting together a strong performance as a unit. I know Chelsea will have to work hard to upset those clubs, but I hope they can do it and go to the quarterfinals.
At least they will still have a chance when they face Dortmund, it is clear that there will be a very good chance considering that the two teams have played quite monotonously so far, so Chelsea's chance is still there.
Seeing the condition of the actual players they can still make this a good thing for them but on the other hand it depends on Potter now whether they are able to make this club better or not.

Aubameyang has not been making much impact in the team, I doubt if his absence will have any impact on the team's performance and even if they fail to progress in the Champions league it wouldn't be because of Aubameyang's presence but because the team generally couldn't perform well in the game. I don't think Aubameyang's presence or absence really matters now.
But they have been doing so poorly in the EPL in front of goal, and it's very evident that they are missing a top tier center forward. To see Chelsea scramble for useless signings from rivals, forgetting about making priority signings they actually needed, was actually very laughable to say the least.

Well, I'm still curious whether the absence of Aubameyang in the Chelsea squad for the Champions League can bring good results for Chelsea or not. Because if the result is still the same, that is to say, the result that Chelsea will get in the Champions League will still be the same as not being able to go any further.
So I think, the decision to include Aubameyang in the Chelsea squad or not, it seems that Chelsea's performance at this moment is indeed in a bad performance too. So yes, I don't think Aubameyang is also a factor in Chelsea's poor performance.

Aubameyang's performance with Barcelona was excellent. He was able to adapt himself well to Xavi's match strategy. And was able to consistently perform well. However, Aubameyang's performance with Chelsea is not as good as expected. He scored only one goal in 11 matches. I think he can't adapt himself to the Premier League style of play. Aubameyang is not a perfect fit for the Premier League. So even if Aubameyang is not on the team, there is no noticeable effect on Chelsea's overall performance.

It may be as a result of irregularity in the pattern pf play of the clubs in their local league and the Champion leagues is a different thing entirely, some clubs may be performing very poor in their local league, and when it come to championship their play well.
*as being said some clubs may not be able to make any difference in the championships.
The possibility of making a slightly different appearance for each team in the Champions League is very open because each team can also see itself when performing in its domestic league and will obviously try to do better to appear here in the Champions League so that it can last longer here for on to the next round.

When you check the whole assessment in the summation phase, you will understand that the local league analysis is not holding water. If you check the ligue 1 table you will understand that psg is at the top. When you also check the Bundesliga you will understand that Bayern Munich is at the top. So what are we saying again? They are doing well in their local league and technically reserving for champions league.
That is why many people have been waiting for the meeting of these two teams in the Champions League after seeing how both of them performed in their respective domestic leagues. I think that the matches for these two teams will be even more fierce in the Champions League even though recently Bayern Munich has not had very good results in the Bundesliga.

I really laughed at Liverpool's game. Despite having some great players in the team, they were beaten shamefully by Wolves. The current condition of the team is not good, the team needs to do great work.

Dortmund are performing really well. The XI of the team is united brilliantly and is taking the team forward. Dortmund's last match has been fantastic. The opposition team managed to defeat 5-1.

Mbappe is in my opinion the best player around the world at the moment so there is no way to replace someone with his talent, but even then PSG has enough talent and experience to make this work, also Mbappe will be out for only three weeks so there is a chance Mbappe will recover before the second leg of the round of 16 is played, so as long as Bayern Munich does not win convincingly during the first leg, the return of Mbappe during the second leg will make enough of a difference for PSG to move forward to the quarterfinals.

I agree with your assessment regarding Mbappe - after all, the statistics say that he is the best at the moment. But I do not think that in order to win this confrontation, Bayern need to win convincingly (or even at all) in the first game. It is enough for them to draw or minimally win. I don't think PSG will have many chances at the Allianz Arena with or without Mbappe.
Even playing without mbappe already given very big disadvantage to the club. It will be facing bayern munchen. A team that was almost kicked out PSG last season from the UCL. That's why bayern will be doing revenge against PSG.
Mbappe may be feeling so bad for unable to play with PSG against bayern munchen. I don't even think messi and neymar will able to make its team win against PSG.
Bayern itself has been getting more additional player who has been starting to give impact to the club like cancelo. PSG's position is not in a good side.

This Liverpool side it's very hard to really identify what's wrong with them or should I say the players are no longer playing for the coach the have lost more than they lost last season which is not cool, up next the face a Madrid side that will take advantage and capitalize on their weaknesses and it won't be easy for Liverpool as Madrid might win them home and away.
I think the major problem is that all the players he brought in has not really na and that's why the keep struggling. They really need to start Winning matches so they can build the momentum to end the season strongly and I a better position on th log.

Liverpool's main weakness in my opinion is their match strategy. And after Sadio Mane left the team, the situation of the team has become unstable. Sadio Mane helps strengthen the forward's bond with the midfield. After he left the team, the bond between the forwards and the midfield weakened. This is why we are not getting satisfactory performances from PSG's forward players. Liverpool's defense has also been weak in recent times. They have conceded 9 goals in the last 4 matches. And scored only one.

liverpool continues to perform badly in the premier league, I don't expect them to lose their sharpness in every game they play. Two weeks from now, Liverpool will face Real Madrid in the round of 16.  I'm not sure Liverpool can beat Real Madrid because Real Madrid has performed quite well in the la liga this season.

Under current conditions? I think it's difficult if you look at today's game they are humiliated again with a score of 3 goals without reply by Wolves I think your prediction will be wrong in this case.
The first leg will be at Anfield but for now it doesn't look like Anfield is a scary enough stadium for some teams and of course Madrid could also win this game.

Even when the whole squad aren't on their A game, atleast someone should stand out and maybe he could carry the whole squad probably until some form starts coming back into the team. Aubameyang should have been that guy but he isn't any difference from how poorly others have been playing. The players that replace Aubameyang are far more talented them he is and they're younger with more energy to pay the sport. The only thing that Aubameyang has more than themis experience

So far he hasn't been able to use that experience effectively so he should take a break and let others come get the job done. Graham Potter also needs to get his head straight or he should be ready to recieve the sack letter anytime soon and If he was to be sacked, Chelsea should go for a well known managers and not all this prodigy.

It's football, I hope you let things slide real quick, coaches comes and goes and also sell player's they're not comfortable with likewise getting the once needed. Aubameyang has honestly lost he's touch on the pitch but he's got work go do for himself, he has to make things count by fighting for he's place back into the line up. I kinda love how he's got dropped he lacked the qualities of Aubameyang I useyto know.

Asides Aubameyang, it's a clear warning now, I hope someone sends to Chelsea owners that Graham Potter has been a poor coach and doesn't deserves the management of those single players.

I don't usually compare a team's performance in their local league to what they'll display in the Champions League. They are two distinct leagues with two distinct motivations toward them among players and teams. Champions league, they said, is a league of champions; if a team performs better in the champions league, he will be called a champion there, which is far superior to their performance in the local league.

I don't believe Chelsea will underperform in the Champions League due to their current poor form in the Premier League. The new signings will help them perform better in the Champions League this season. Chelsea, in my opinion, will reach the Champions League quarterfinals this season.

Exactly football os full of unexpected results low ranked club may defeat a high rank if luck is on their side during play, but then in some cases, one will make a general assumption base on current performance and standing, if Liverpool could be performing poorly in both local leagues and international leagues this season that shows the level at which Liverpool have lost their place this season in all leagues.
*But we have some other clubs that will be shining in the local leagues with multiple track records of winning in their local matches but be performing poorly in the international leagues.
So it both ways mate.
