Smart is not enough, there must be skills

Currently they have brought in several players one of which is Mykhailo Mudryk, he's a pretty good player in the middle. He has good speed and possession of the ball. In addition they have bought four other players such as , Benoit Badiashile, Noni Madueke, Andrey Santos, and David Datro Fofana then Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid.
I also heard that they are still active in the transfer market this season, they still need defenders, central midfielders and strikers. They had spent a lot of money to support Potter, but they also had to be prepared to accept punishment if they violated the FFP.
David Datro Fofana, Noni Madueke, Mykhaylo Mudryk, Andrey Santos, Benoît Badiashile, João Félix are some of players who were brought in by Chelsea during the winter transfer market. Based on the available data, Chelsea have spent more €460M on arrivals transfers while they only earned €56.53m from departures players. Of course they have spent a lot of money, and they have to think of a balance to avoid FFP violations.

Even though they have spent lot of money, I haven't seen Chelsea really being able to improve the quality of their game. Mudryk, Félix are expected to increase the effectiveness of Chelsea's attack, but they need time and adaptation.
Chelsea spent enormous money to build a team with several players brought in over the winter it is clear they don't want to be left behind in the Premier League or in the Champions League, but until now there has been no news about FFP violations but it's true that it needs a balance with spending and income also to the club.

I'd love to see Mudryk and Félix grace me left and right in Chelsea's strikers as their abilities at their previous clubs are unquestionable, while adaptation is necessary even with the times running out, let's hope they adapt quicker.

The truth is that Graham Potter also contribute to the problem of Chelsea,  a good coach should be able to manage the kind of player Chelsea has, atleast some level of good performance is supposed to be seen in the players. I think the strategies he uses as a coach is not working for the team. Chelsea already have players but lack a quality coach that can bring out best from the players .

I would agree with you on this. The coach also has a part to play(probably more)in the level of performance his team displays on the field of play.

Chelsea already has some of the finest players in the world and needs someone who is able and capable to see and bring out the potentials buried deep inside each player. Along with that, formulation of new strategies using the potentials of his players is also key and something the coach ought to consider.

No coach will be able to do great things when his defence and midfield is in shambles. You may think that Chelsea is signing players that they are supposed to be performing well. Ask yourself how many steady defenders are there apart from Silva. Also ask yourself how many great defensive midfielder has Chelsea since Kante is injures. If you will be fair, Potter has never gotten the best lines of defence and midfield to perform.

Basically, Chelsea really had to start over from scratch after all the major reforms that were carried out, so it's no wonder that Chelsea's performance was not as good as last season. So in this case, I personally don't rely too much only on defenders and midfielders, because in football all players from every line certainly have an important role to make good gameplay.

So yes, this season has not been good for Chelsea and maybe it will be the last season for Chelsea to play in the Champions League, but in the next few seasons, then of course Chelsea should be able to return to playing in the Champions League.

Mudryk will need some time to mature and acclimatize to the squad and league. His future is bright since he is still a young player with much promise. Not every player is worth 100 million euros, in my opinion.

It's also important to note that Zinedine Zidane's potential hiring as Chelsea's next head coach is still nothing more than a rumor at this moment. It will be exciting to observe how the new Chelsea coach improves the team's performance in the Premier League.

Mudryk doesn't need time, even though he would had needed time but with the kind of money that he was signed for, he knows he has to start showing results so Chelsea doesn't regret their purchase and he can start growing his fans love from the fans. We can see how direct he was at his debut and although that game ended goalless for both side, the story would had been different if Mudryk started the game. He was an instant threat to the Liverpool defense and such moves he display does prove of his readiness for the premier league. He also has to start assisting or scoring before the managers and defenders begin to understand his style of play.

As for the coaching situation at the club, we aren't in the days of the previous owners that only go after high profile managers, Todd Boehly is different and I believe he'll give Graham Potter time to prove himself. Immediately we get our players situation sorted out, I believe the owners will back graham Potter as now he'll have all the ingredients needed to serve us a delicious win every weekend.
Players adapting to a new league or club doesn't have to do with money, Mudryk is a good player and I believe He will definitely play to the expectation and already , he showed a little part of him against Liveepool. let's just hope that Graham Porter finds the best way of rotating those players when everyone returns from injury because even as at now he is still having difficulty in positioning the little available ones.

There's a good chance Chelsea are holding out for the rest of the season, and they should really be able to come back in good shape after spending big on transfers. Whatever value Chelsea has spent so far, I think it has to be worth it with the quality that the team, but I think it comes down to Potter leading the team. Potter has the full support of the Chelsea owners, he has to build team and get Chelsea back in form, but if Potter fails then I truly believe he will be sacked.

I've seen Mudryk play for Chelsea, I've watched Felix, and these two players really have the quality to get Chelsea back on track. Yes, Chelsea have chance and there is always hope for them as long as this season is not finished.

A match can not say anything. It always take time and I doubt that he can be consistent with his performance. Premier leagues is famous with tons of expensive players but turns out they do not worth that much. In such a harsh league, other teams will find a good solutions to against new players like Mudryk. So, time will tell us whether he will become a pillar of Chelsea or not. But 100 millions euro, Chelsea really knows how to gamble

The winter transfer market is still open right?
There is an opportunity for both teams to improve several important positions that are considered incompetent. It will be difficult for Liverpool and Chelsea to survive in the Champions League with the current condition of the team. Moreover, Liverpool will open the round of 16 against Real Madrid, a team with a mentality that cannot be doubt, especially in the Champions League competition.
Liverpool is Even better , they have chances of improving at anytime but the way Chelsea is going this season it seems their condition this season is not something that they can work on to improve.

Well, the truth is that Chelsea has surprised me too much, I have always seen this team as one of the strongest, but now that they are making so many changes, I think and I can say that they are gambling with everything, they signed a Joao Féliz who It didn't last long and they gave him a red card, which left everyone baffled, it's something that seems too strong to me, especially for the player who wants to come in and show a lot and in the end he doesn't show anything but that in his first game He leaves through the back door, as if he were a rookie, and very few rookies have something like this happen to them in their first game, I think good luck was not on his side here, I really hope Chelsea recovers.

A draw with Liverpool in the Premier League still cannot be used as a benchmark for Chelsea's performance because even Liverpool are in a bad situation and condition this season. So, I can say Liverpool and Chelsea have decreased in quality this season so a draw for them still won't have any impact on their match in the Champions League.
Also, it doesn't matter how many new players they bring in, because it looks like this season will only be a season for them to make a few attempts to get back to having good quality next season.
Liverpool are struggling and seeking for a possible way out to change the situation at the club, a goalless draw to me best explains the level at which both teams have dropped drastically in performance. Chelsea have been making big money moves to strengthen their squad which gives me some sort of hope that things will change for the better in the near future.
Both Chelsea and Liverpool are in some bad conditions. I don't know who to say is in the worse condition among two of them. Because when the season started Tuchel was not doing well and Klopp also has not been doing well from onset.
Later on Chelsea hired Potter who managed to do well for some periods of time, meanwhile Klopp was still fluctuating.
The glory of Potter didn't last long that he joined Klopp again to fluctuate. So, I cannot use the meeting between these clubs to qualify Chelsea fit for CL.
Graham Potter and Jurgen Klopp became a conversation with the decline of Chelsea and also Liverpool. Maybe for some people that the steps taken by Chelsea were wrong by sacking Thomas Tuchel, and also judging by how long Graham Potter has been since he joined it should be enough to get to know more about the squad he has.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp doesn't know what happened to him, because he has been in charge of this team for a long time, and the players he has also have good quality, but so far he has not shown good development from Liverpool.

Well, Klopp is one of the best technical directors in the world, I don't know what happened to Liverpool, I really don't judge him much, because they have one of the best players in the world, maybe they are going through times of crisis, no I know if they have personal problems, internal problems that cannot be resolved so easily, the Tuchel thing is something else, the Tuchel thing I don't think he has had much luck, teams like Chelsea perhaps have to do things more radical, the players can respond to any technical director, but as I said before I think that sometimes we don't know what the internal situation is, what is happening, and we issue opinions, Chelsea are having a very bad time, they have good players, such Sometimes a change of technician is not so bad.

Thomas Tuchel's world tour! Former Chelsea boss shows up at the Australian Open in Melbourne - after trips to India and Austria - after sacking meant he had to leave the UK because of post-Brexit visa laws

Quote
Thomas Tuchel's world tour has taken him to Melbourne after the former Chelsea boss was pictured at the Australian Open on Thursday night.

Tuchel, 49, was dismissed by new Blues owner Todd Boehly after a sluggish start to the 2022-23 season and, due to post-Brexit visa laws, he had to depart England in December as he was not placed on gardening leave.

The reasons why he was not given a similar arrangement to assistants Zsolt Low and Benjamin Webber, who were placed on gardening leave, remains unclear.

Chelsea needs a creative midfielder to open space for the attack line and of course he must have an accurate pass to make it easier for the attackers to get the ball. But right now, Chelsea still haven't found the figure of the player and it's very rare for a midfielder with that style of play. As for several clubs such as Odegaard, Kevin De Bruyne and Nicolo Barella, it seems that they will never be sold because they are all key players in their respective clubs.

I've seen those players at Chelsea and it looks like some of those players are quite promising for the club. Moreover, Mudryk is indeed a winger and can also act as an attacking midfielder, of course he will set the tempo of the game and also set up the attack for the Blues' front line. Regarding the penalty from FFP, it is possible that the owner, Todd Boehly, already knew about this and he must have found a way to prevent this problem from being fatal for the club.

I wouldn't say Chelsea's performance has changed much as a result of the coaching change. Chelsea's performance is still poor. But their performance is stabilizing. Chelsea has problems with match tactics. At the same time, Chelsea's squad is not very strong.
They changed the coach position from Tuchel to Potter a few months ago and it is long enough to expect for good improvement from Potter. So far I don't see good improvement for Chelsea from Potter and lately they have gotten some new players including an expensive player Mudryk as well as a big loan of Joao Felix. I don't think it is fair to blame all bad results on Potter. Other people are responsible for the club performance too from players to his assistants and medical staffs.

Quote
Despite Liverpool having a strong squad, their performances are unstable. On the other hand, Chelsea's squad is weak and the coach's match strategy is weak too. I don't think we will see much improvement in Chelsea's performance unless they add more talented players to the squad. Chelsea's performance this season has been so unstable.
Liverpool have too bad defense system that is not good for title competition. Injuries are other reasons why Liverpool have never had best players for their matches in this season. Usually clubs can not play well if many players in their squad got injuries and have yet recovered from medical care.

Despite the poor performance Liverpool players are experiencing this season, there is still hope of improvement compared to Chelsea that changed their coach but they are still suffering of coach impact. I don't think, Chelsea current coach will do better than the formal coach because, since he was elected as Chelsea coach, there is no positive change among the players and it  creating heavy fear in the mind of Chelsea fans.

When talking about hope, there will always be hope for clubs that are performing poorly, whoever it is, even for clubs that are in the relegation zone. The question is whether they will be able to realize that hope or not. As happened to the Liverpool player who became an expensive transfer last summer, Darwin Nunez. The expectations for him were so great, but he failed to realize that hope and the impact was on Liverpool's performance itself.
It's the same with the players, the club will be like that too, they will always have hope. How can they make it happen, one of which is that the role of the coach is very important here, but is that really the responsibility of the coach? of course not, because all parties involved must have a role in the improvement.

I'm not sure if this is what Graham Potter wants, or the Chelsea boss. but what is certain is that Mundryk's price tag has skyrocketed, due to Todd Boehly's participation in this transfer market. because, Chelsea brought in newcomers not based on the needs of his team. they only see young players with potential, and buy them. and this is why, I assume that the scenario behind bringing in the newcomers is none other than Todd who wants them.

I admit that Mudryk is a very talented young player, although he has yet to prove anything with Chelsea. his debut during the Liverpool match, we cannot make it a benchmark that he can adapt well. in fact, we have yet to see him play a full team with his new team. what Chelsea needed was a finishing striker, unfortunately Felix's debut with Chelsea did not go smoothly.

speaking of penalties for violating FFP, I don't really follow the developments. but what I want to know is, what will Potter do with his new arrivals and can he capitalize on this momentum, or.
On the other hand, Dortmund have played two matches in the second half of this season in their domestic league and the results are quite satisfying. however, there are still gaps and weaknesses that Edin Terzic must fix, especially the defense.

Chelsea have been making big money moves to strengthen their squad which gives me some sort of hope that things will change for the better in the near future.
I wouldn't say they have run out of time to fix this, but the time they have is very thin for this season, because the league continues, and the Champions League day after day is also about to start. So they don't have much time to find out what's wrong with them. The break they got during the World Cup was supposed to be enough time for them to evaluate the team, but in fact that didn't happen.
