PSG vs Bayern Munich is a big UEFA Champion League match that takes place in the knock out stage among other matches in my opinion although other matches also have nuances that are not much interesting.

PSG is eager to win the UEFA Champion League for the first time after only being able to achieve runner-up in the 2019-2020 season. The amount of money spent will certainly pay off if Mbappe, Neymar, Messi and friends are able to lift the trophy.
Their challenge is tough because Bayern Munich is not an easy opponent to beat.

I see victory ahead of PSG in this knock out stage, because their players will do everything possible within their power to achieve victory that will make them to have full confident of winning this UEFA champion league title. I don't think, Bayern Munich have the strength to stop PSG in this match because they are still lacking in the area of defense which will be one of the advantage PSG will use to have access to victory in this match. I believe, Messi, Mbappe and Neymar will definitely apply those skills they displayed in the FIFA world cup competition to play this match to stand in a good position to win the title.
PSG's front line is not in doubt because it is filled with players with big names known as the MNM trio (Mbappe, Neymar, Messi) with extraordinary abilities. If the Bayern Munich camp, their front line is not as great as PSG. I see the weak point of defense not in Bayern Munich, but in the PSG camp.

Their goal productivity in their respective leagues is not much different. PSG with Messi, Neymar and Mbappe have scored 46 goals so far. FC Hollywood who only rely on Choupo-Moting who is assisted by Musiala is able to make 49 goals in the Bundesliga.

Since they will be competing in the UEFA Champion League, experience and mentality are far more favored for Bayern to qualify.

everyone has their own opinion and support, madrid and munich are of course very favored to be able to go to the final because of their track record in the UCL but we also need to know that manchester city and PSG can surprise, I'm sure manchester city will go to the final

City are Champions League favorites every year and every year they fail in their bid for the title. It is a pity that this year in the 1/8 finals they have an easy opponent (compared, for example, with a pair of Bayern - PSG) and we are unlikely to be able to assess the seriousness of their claims in these games. I hope in 1/4 they will come across Bayern or another serious team capable of beating them. It would be unfair for the tournament favorite to go to the final the easy way (like Liverpool did last year).

They are surely getting to the finals this season I have predicted along time coming that Manchester City and Pep Guardiola will get to the finals.
Another two clubs I'm keen to see how they go through will be both Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germany as it will be one of the best top game to view. My opinions are for me alone and I am really seeing Bayern Munich going back home all because they cannot defeat Paris Saint Germany.

Pep and his men didn't get difficult fixtures and with their good form this season they are expected to reach the finals because either of psg and Bayern will drop on the way and either of Liverpool or Madrid will also drop on the way. Before you will understand big teams will all be eliminated and manchester city will be at the finals

PSG vs Bayern and LFC vs Madrid will be the games to watch for sure, those are some high end games that everyone is wondering. I am sensing that PSG could be better than Bayern at this point, because Mbappe lost the world cup as well and he wants UCL in order to establish himself a bit with cups as much as with stats.

Too many people talked about being in "farmers league" basically so his stats will not save him anymore, he needs the cups to achieve something. And if we are looking at how LFC has been this year, Madrid should not have hard time beating them neither. That's what I am guessing will happen but there is no guaranteed of course and we have to wait and see.

I believe Madrid and bayern will be going to the final rather than city and PSG.

PSG should not be underestimated, which has an attacking trio made up of the best players in the world, Mbappe, Neymar and Messi, making PSG a very strong team, and it is true that PSG's biggest problem is in the defense, which even made them lost in their first game of resumption of Ligue 1, but if PSG manage to resolve this defense issue then they can reach the final and become champions, on the other hand City is also a very strong team that should not be underestimated, they they have a lot of chances to become champions, as for real madrid, real madrid's situation is not good, they need one more striker or they will be risking losing points in both la liga and champions league
Now in round of 16, no team is underestimated because all are coming from tough challenging matches which were never been easy to win and qualify for the knock-out round even right now Benfica is also one of the toughest side which can give shocking result in coming matches because their quality is also amazing as they play against PSG in two matches and ended with result of draw Napoli is also having good season with they are still leading into Italian league even Juventus and Inter are also having impressive run after bad start.

Few teams which are having every time favourite tag because of their quality and performance but sadly never been able to win the title still have good chance for the win, so now things are still unpredictable for the all teams and any result can happen.

Yes, Liverpool will face Real Madrid again. It's a good chance for Liverpool to get revenge and beat Madrid while the royal club have player problems. I don't know if Madrid can solve all their club problems before the game with Liverpool, but they have now lost their lead in La Liga. But Liverpool aren't having the best of times either.

They will compete in February. It shouldn't matter, if I look at the schedule in the first game it will be at Liverpool's home. I hope the worst result is a draw. After that Madrid can take advantage of the second game in Madrid. In the last match in 2022 Madrid won 0-1. The match took place in France. It was the 2022 UCL Finals match. Indeed, the results of the games of the two teams in the League are not very good, but in the UCL everything can change.

On the one hand, La Liga giant Real Madrid, on the other hand, Liverpool, one of the best teams in the Premier League. The winner will be a difficult match to predict. It's been a very bad season for Liverpool in the league. I have no idea what they can do at UCL. Real Madrid, on the other hand, looks more stable. This pairing will be one of the matches whose outcome I am curious about.

Liverpool's job will be pretty difficult in the Champions League if they maintain this performance now.

Actually they weren't playing in the same way as for the Champions League. It was like they were focused on this tournament more and this was helping them collect three points in nearly all of the matches. They are seven points away from top four now in the English Premier League. They still continue to lose points because of their weaknesses in midfield and defense. The defense can be fixed actually but they need to transfer a midfielder for sure. They had better do that before the Real Madrid matchup.

Even if Liverpool manage to solve all the problems with the defense and midfield, the games against Real Madrid will not be easy. For Liverpool, the stage has already come when any actions cannot guarantee a result - the opponent is strong and you can lose even showing your best game. Another thing is that Liverpool, in principle, is far from its best form and is still unstable - 3 goals conceded from not the strongest team is a terrible result.

It is the truth. Real Madrid are actually like their nightmare now because they don't have a good history against Real Madrid in the Champions League. Liverpool failed against them quite much so far.

Considering this fact, Real Madrid have a really nice psychological superiority to Liverpool. I know that Real Madrid newly lost to Villarreal in the La Liga but I don't think this is enough to say them they are inconsistent now. But we are able to say this easily for Liverpool considering their results since the start of the season. Real Madrid are the most successful team in the Champions League as well so Liverpool's job is really hard.

Well, maybe you're all hung up on the big teams and also their good history in the Champions League, but I think it looks like this season might be very different. If you follow the results of the group stage, then I think there will be one team that can also be considered at this moment to be able to go further.
Those teams are Benfica who did very well in the group stage and even, PSG which you would suggest to be a candidate to reach the final. But in reality, PSG couldn't beat Benfica at all in the group stage so yes, I'm sure Benfica at this moment can be a team that is difficult for seeded teams to beat.
Here most of the talk is about who is winner and every one is going with his own considerations because most of the fans love to have winner their favourite club, but one thing is surely Champions League is having history of unpredictable results and winners which are not in favourite list with this all right now talking about who could be winner in this season it's not easy too many teams are giving their best and have chance to be as winner with Benfica is surely had good chance as they play against PSG in their last matches these were shocking with Napoli is also one of the team which can do any surprising entry into last rounds because they have amazing season in Serie A and Champions League performance was also good still nothing clear with PSG, Bayern Munich and Manchester City all are usual favourite for this event, but things could be clear after first knock out round.

After all, I also said maybe, you are fixated on big teams with club history in the Champions League, so even if some of them are not fans of certain teams, at least they will choose famous teams, right. Well, therefore, I say about Benfica's performance so far this season in the Champions League which is so impressive.
So their choices are not only big teams with good history in the Champions League and in local leagues, because there are still dark horse teams that really cannot be underestimated at this moment. What's more, the seeded teams also don't fully guarantee good results in this Champions League, so all teams have their own opportunities.

After returning from the world cup. The defeat of Real Madrid in the Villereal match in the league, at the same time, I did not like the game he played. This year seems to me as if it is not the season for Real Madrid in the Champions league. They have a high probability of getting a win against Liverpool. I predict they will be eliminated in the semi-finals.
I'm not sure about Real Madrid's season not because they were bad form after the World Cup break, but because I just think they will fail to defend their title. Real Madrid's probability of going to the final is no better than Manchester City, but I think Real Madrid are the favorites for the quarter-finals and also for the semi-finals.

I can say that PSG-Bayern matchup is a very good match in the quarter-finals. There is no former Bayern Munich, as everyone knows PSG, so I can say that it is extremely lucky. I mean like in previous seasons. If PSG wins the league + champions league this year, it will be a big deal.
Unfortunately PSG and Bayern Munich have to beat each other in the round of 16, so one of them will fail to be in the quarter-finals. Even if PSG is ahead in probability, it won't decide anything.

Bayern also has a chance, they are a team that is quite experienced in the Champions League. Perhaps we would be surprised if it were Manchester City and PSG who would reach the final this season if both of them progressed from each round and were never drawn in the quarter-finals and semi-finals.

I am not aware that Real Madrid has some issues in their squad, if they have please may you mention the issues for me because I am not seeing any. For them to lose a match does not mean that they have crisis in their team,  any team can lose a match that is football. If you are talking about the team that has problem it is Liverpool and not Real Madrid and if Liverpool is unable to fix their issues before February Real Madrid may humiliate them

Of the several big teams that have qualified for the round 16 of the Champions League this season, I am more certain that Parist Saint Germain and Manchester City will advance to the final based on the achievements of each team so far. What do you think, which of the participants has the potential to reach the Champions League final this season?
Are there other candidates with more potential than PSG and Manchester City?
Real Madrid, Manchester City, PSG, Bayern Munich, Napoli and Liverpool are more likely to reach the final than any other team. We never really know, but based on their current form I think all the teams I can name are the favourites. Unfortunately we have to see some of them fail in the round of 16, especially in Liverpool vs Real Madrid and PSG vs Bayern Munich.

I would love for Real Madrid to reach the final again, but for whatever reason I don't think this season is for Real Madrid. I'm not sure Real Madrid succeeded, it's because of the tough competition among other teams. It's always difficult to defend the Champions League title, even if Real Madrid have done it more often so far.

All speaking PSG, maybe that's interesting. But there's one other game that's quite interesting to me. Liverpol vs Madrid, Liverpol is not good in the EPL but good in the UCL. While Madrid is currently still quite good, but the defeat to Villareal is enough to surprise me.
For the last 3 games Madrid have never lost, drawn once. But their first leg will play in England. Perhaps this is Liverpool's advantage.

Now, we have 6 weeks left for the first leg game which is going to play at Anfield and here in last three meetings between Liverpool vs Real Madrid two won by Real Madrid and one is drawn mean nothing positive for the home side but in current form Liverpool is better team at home instead of Real Madrid which just lost their game against Villarreal in La Liga even most feel domestic league and Champions League both are completely different things but still form is surely having impact on any team performance in these leagues.

Liverpool is surely improving their quality and performance which will helps them for having better results in Premier League and Champions League because they are surely looking for better end of this season after having one of the worst start in EPL.

Indeed, anything can happen in the Champions League, especially as both clubs are not in the best of form. Still, Madrid's last win in the final was by a narrow score. And this time there will be two games, so I think both clubs have the same chance to win.

Even so, it seems that Real Madrid will try to secure victory at home to Liverpool. This is not something new how these two teams often meet in the champions league and Liverpool can be said to be always unlucky. But indeed the champions league is full of surprises even though in the next few seasons Real Madrid has always excelled, but sometimes there are times when other teams can rise up, Liverpool is no exception. So I think these two teams will give an interesting game throughout the minutes.

Fact, every season when Champion League started Manchester City become candidate or favorite to be the winner but finally they failed get trophy and can't lead until final stage. Last time great achievement from Manchester City journey in Champion League at season 2020/2021 when leading to final stage but failure after beating by Chelsea 1-0.

Last season, Manchester City are strong candidate with Champion League tittle, actually after winning first leg from Real Madrid at semifinal they have confidence on second leg, but Real Madrid comeback winning mentality make City have failed again with Champion League. Actually Manchester City manager's Pep Guardiola not have special performance in Champion League except trophy achievement with Barcelona, has failure with Bayern and almost several season can't bring Champion League trophy for City.
