A player like Ronaldo still belongs in the CL with his level, right? It's not as good as it used to be, but it's still good enough for certain teams in the CL. I don't think Real Madrid will want him back either. If he starts playing football in Qatar, he can play in the Asian CL. Also a nice level, but you don't have to see full stadiums there. I don't think Ronaldo is going there yet? Could he also consider going to a club with a slightly lesser status such as Chelsea to still play CL?
No chance for him as even chelsea already rejected a rumour about his transfer to the club. This time ronaldo is still looking for a new club to play with. He has not yet got any offer from the club. It seems like that al nassr may become his new place rather than going to the big club but he will be rarely playing for the club. He has the biggest fan base in the world but remember that he can't deny if he was become even older than before. His time has come and he must accept if these days the football team rarely interested with the old player like him.
I think Ronaldo should forget the English premier league and focus his attention on a smaller league like the Arabian league where he was offered a huge money deal, I think that should be the best decision for him at this point but all good as well if he finally gets a Newcastle deal in the coming weeks, outside that I would prefer the Al nassr deal where he gets enough playing time and more experience in a new place. I don’t think he needs to play in the epl just to prove that Manchester United wasn’t his fault.

60% of impulses created in the knock out phase of the just-concluded FIFA world cup were pulled by Paris saint German attackers #Neyma #messi and mbappe.. With this, I think we should be expecting something bigger from them at their club level. This has given me the fear that PSG may likely conquer Bayern Munich in the upcoming round of 16, especially in the absence of sadio mane, Manuel Neuer, Lucas Hernandez, and Sarr...it will be dangerous to play PSG in the round of 16 without them. I pray they recover before then.

AC Milan and Tottenham both have the opportunity to beat each other. This will be one of the more interesting matches to watch apart from the big matches like Bayern Munich vs Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid vs Liverpool. These two clubs both have the same material quality of players if we look at it now and also their performances in the domestic league are also worth considering. I want to see their game first after returning from a long break, because maybe in that break they will experience changes. Who is more prepared and consistent after this break then that club will have a higher chance in my opinion.
Right now main problem is first we have to check their performance after this break then surely we can predict about the outcome of this match because before break both teams were doing amazing stuff and have enough firepower and quality for the progress into next level AC Milan is currently at the second spot and Tottenham is having fourth spot into Premier League with this we can expect one of the most entertaining match of this round between these two teams.

Even right now, situation is very interesting into this round with most of the teams are going to fight for the tough matches like PSG vs Bayern Munich and Liverpool vs Real Madrid are also entertaining encounters, but this is surely one off the most with good level in all departments.

AC Milan - Tottenham Hotspur is an even battle when the match is played in Milan. About the diptych it seems to me that Tottenham is the favorite to go through to the next round. AC Milan lost 2x without a chance against Chelsea in the group stage.

Milan are not in a very good condition for this matchup truthfully. Because their performance against Chelsea in the group stage was really below the expectations. They couldn't resist Chelsea much and lost both matches as well. This is a proof of how much ready they are for big matches in the Champions League. Tottenham are even a more challenging opponent for them. Because especially their attacking power is much higher than Chelsea's in this season. This means that Milan will need to be extra careful in defense.

Milan actually have really capable players to eliminate Tottenham. But they haven't had much experience in the Champions League in the recent years. They joined in the previous season for example but they couldn't even reach next stage. Tottenham seem more credible to me for now.
Indeed, in this case Milan is having a bit of a problem and in fact not only in the Champions League but also in Serie A because there are indeed a number of problems that they have not been able to solve, especially with their financial condition due to the incompetence of the higher-ups in managing finances from expenses and income so that this affects players because if we see they are too passive in player transfers even though they need it to maintain their squad.
In this case, Tottenham are actually slightly superior, but looking at the match that will be held in February, of course, there will definitely be a number of things that will happen, and this could turn around between Milan and Tottenham because it is still difficult for us to know what will happen in the next 2 months.

I honestly do not understand what happened to Milan against Chelsea. They were in a better form in and had everything they needed to win. I guess the champions league is a whole different level. Milan where really disappointing in both legs. I expected them to win at least one leg.

I agree with you about Tottenham. They are currently a better side than Chelsea and they have a very experienced manager in Conte. He knows how to win games and how to defend leads. It's going to be another interesting fixture and I'm looking forward to it.

There are still many great coaches who want to work with Ronaldo in a team, but maybe not Ten Hag. Ancelotti, Stefano Pioli, Luciano Spalletti and several other coaches seem to be able to handle young and old players well. Ronaldo is still good enough to be expected to have great form, but he will no longer be as stable as expected.

On the other hand, Ronaldo must also realize that he is no longer young and he is almost at the end of his career so he needs to understand the coach's wishes. So I think it's good to hope Ronaldo is still able to play at a high level for a few more seasons, but if he wants to leave Europe then of course that is another story.
No doubt about Ronaldo's quality and abilities but things are looking not positive for him in UEFA specially after the press conference which bring serious trouble in his career, and he has to leave Manchester United with immediate effect, but his performance level is also dropped due to age factor and his pace from other players as well because now new generation is also doing amazing job and quality level is also increasing hopefully we will be having good reports about him in next few days because he is already on training and few clubs already in touch with him about his future, but perfect updates are not available.

But, if he is unable to have any positive response from European clubs then surely this could be the worst case for him and his career with his special love with Champions League is also going to have big impact because he still loves to play but out of Europe could be not ideal place for him.

Liverpool's odd to reach the quarter finals is 1.60 while Real Madrid's is 2.20 now. But I think this is no more than a trap by bookmakers. Because there isn't anything clear about this matchup. Both of these teams have had a great run in the group stage. Liverpool surprised people by their performance here despite their poor effort in the English Premier League. However we shouldn't forget about another fact that Real Madrid are the last champions in the Champions League. They made it to the title even when they weren't like the biggest favourite or so.

They are still like a secret favourite team for this title now. Liverpool will need to play extra carefully if they really want to eliminate them. We all know what Real Madrid did to the biggest title contenders in the previous season. They are even stronger now with some additions to the team. Benzema is also back after having an injury.
I am agreed with Bookmakers about this because now situation is completely changed in Champions League with Real Madrid is having issues in attack after injury of Karim Benzema even many quality players are available, and they can handle things without any problem, but now Liverpool is surely at the best in Champions League, and they can beat Real Madrid in this knock out match and for the place into quarterfinal with most chances they will be fought into Premier League as well with good spirit and have fair chance for having good spot in coming weeks even things are looking no easy for them with many teams are at their best and have quality performance in last few weeks before break.

I have feeling now we will be having something shocking in this season again after having Real Madrid as champions in last season like Napoli, PSG and Liverpool can fight for the title race with their performance.

What would be a trap where the likely winner would get better returns? I mean I believe Real will win, but looking at what Benzema is going with right now, there could be a slight issue with goal scoring, and considering Liverpool has great defence, without Benzema they might have some trouble. He is getting better, but it is inconsistent for the time being and I am imagining it will stay that way as well.

The best thing to do right now would be making sure that we are living in a world where they are equal odds, like 2.00 for both of them but that is not possible of course so we are just calculating if oddmakers are right or not, and that's not going to be easy decision.

Ronaldo will find a club, that part is for sure but I do not know which club, if he wants to keep playing then there is no way he would stay away. Just the idea of Al-Nassr and 500 million euro is good enough proof that even if it is not a big club, it could be biggest pay day any player has ever seen. I still think he should accept it, way too much money to reject.
The Al-Nassr deal is still on the table, I also still think he should accept it, but Ronaldo still wants a prestigious event CL, is not easy to persuade. In his old age, he rarely suffers serious injuries because of his discipline in maintaining his body. He can be a good role model certainly for the Al-Nassr squad, his experience will be very useful for this saudi team.
But that will never happen to Al-Nassr, even that is just a rumor, we know Ronaldo is still ambitious and his ego is very high to participate in the UCL, he doesn't want anyone to reach his record in the UCL, so he wants to widen that gap by looking for a club that wants to take him to the stage between the European continent's clubs. There are only a few days left before the transfer window opens, let's see where he goes.
The World Cup is over, now each team's players will return to their respective clubs, and training will begin. Champions League matches will start with him. Hope all the team's performance will be great as before and Champions League will be accumulated.

It's interesting to talk about Real Madrid's journey in the Champions League, especially last season. Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool were the opponents they beat in that time. Many say that they were very lucky last season, but the question is whether it was luck that they beat such a big team? I admit that last season there was nothing special about Real Madrid's game, but there is one thing that they are superior to the others, namely mentality.
Real Madrid have excellet journey last season in Champion League from knock out round until final, all bigger team success beating from PSG, Chelsea, Manchestee City and Liverpool at final round. I don't think lucky with Teal Madrid in Champion League winner last season because success made come back at several crucial match actually in second leg match.

Seems have the same journey with Real Madrid in this Champion League this season, at 16 round against with Liverpool amd I sure Madrid mentality already this season.

Does anyone actually realize how slim the chances were for Real Madrid to become champions last season? Everything is always easy to nuance in retrospect, but in the games against Manchester City and PSG they already seemed to have no chance of progressing to the next round. And they also won against Chelsea in London through a spectacle by Benzema. You rarely see such comebacks. Liverpool's path was considerably easier last season. And now they are playing against each other again. I think Liverpool will definitely win revenge on last year's final, but Liverpool are not in good form at the moment.

Even now, when the main favorite (City) got a clearly weak opponent in the 1/8 finals, their chances are estimated at less than 50%. It is logical that the chances of Real last season seemed slim. If you watch an event after it happened, it always seems that it was unlikely. But in fact, someone always has to win.
It is very good that Liverpool this season immediately gets a strong opponent, but it is a pity that this comes at the expense of Real Madrid, which last season had the most difficult tournament path of all teams.

the reality is that cristiano ronaldo has not been performing well on the field in recent months, i would say that since the new manchester united coach came in he is no longer the same cristiano ronaldo, his performance has dropped a lot, his presence on the field is almost non-existent you can see how in the past, his way of playing is more similar to how an ordinary player plays, in the past cristiano ronaldo when he caught the ball he most of the time managed to lose the opponent and shot for the goal that went into the goal, today cristiano ronaldo when he takes the ball he makes a pass to his teammate who wastes opportunities, that is cristiano ronaldo is playing differently and this is making him equal to ordinary players

This is what makes Ronaldo such a great player, he's adjusting to fit his new age and lost of speed as he has gone pass his amazing days but can still contribute greatly to the game if given the chance. The issue was that his former manager didn't play with old players as he's a manager that love playing with players with speed and strength (younger players). Ronaldo needs a coach that understand how to play experience and old players with younger ones. Coaches like Sir Alex Ferguson and the next person close to him is Mourinho.

Ronaldo still have some fight left in him, managers should know that and give him a chance to show us those good football before we missed all that due to his retirement. The Young players aren't doing much to fill this goats shoes yet. They still need sometime to level up, any club that get Ronaldo's will benefit from his influence both on and off the pitch. It's a shame he's been treated this way.

Teams have struggled to accept Ronaldo not just because of his age,but because of his bossy character, since he is a big player already, most coaches feel that if they should sign him,he won't stick to their commands(pattern)secondly, they are looking at his age, since he is above 35 years of age,he isn't supposed to be running too much on the pitch, but he is this type that uses all his strength to play football.he's unlike Messi who can play as an 8(attacking midfielder) giving assists only without scoring and running too much on the field.
One thing I like about Ronaldo is despite his age,and the disbelief that these coaches have over him,he still believes he can still do well and still feel like having another great season with a club.
