PSG has the strongest team in the world.

And the most tired one after the world cup.

Messi, Parades and all these French guys are going to be dead-tired after the world cup and will need extra training to regain match fitness. Others who got eliminated earlier and missed their club friendlies like Neymar and Achraf Hakimi will also need more match-readiness training. So by no means do they have an edge here.

Bayern Munich however, should have the edge as they don't have a ton of exhausted stars.

I don't think either Ronaldo or Messi will get away from football completely after their retirements. These are legends who love football very much and we can understand this from their passion to play for longer years still. I think we would definitely see them both as managers or having some other roles at some big teams maybe.
It is amazing that we are here today discussing what Ronaldo and Messi would do post retirement, these two superhumans have thrilled us for so many years, they've been at the top of world football for all of these time, and despite the fact that it is sad to see the end so near, we also have to happy that we were here to witness them play, and hope that we can possibly see footballers as good as they are in this generation and the next to come.

Having said that, i don't know if Messi would become a manager, he doesn't look like it to me, but mind you that i might be completely wrong, he definitely would be involved in football in many other ways, but i don't think he will become a manager, though my guess could prove incorrect and we'd see him managing a football team post retirement. Ronaldo on the other hand looks like he would be well suited for a managerial role when he retires, i think it would fit him perfectly; for now though the both of them are still actively playing, so we can suspend all of these speculations until they bow out.
It's really so sad that we are coming to the end of the Messi and Ronaldo era, I wonder when we will witness the rise of another set of legends like Messi and Ronaldo. It doesn't matter to me now who wins the world cup or who is the realest GOAT. I just want to keep watching the two best players of our time thrill us with their skills and superb performances. I will surely miss this two when they finally hang the boots.

For now it has started to seem to me like PSG are getting more favourite in their matchup against Bayern Munich. The recent injury news are making me think like this. Because Neuer is out for the rest of the season and Bayern Munich might not be comfortable in defense if they don't fill his place with a reliable goalkeeper.
That's why bayern has tried to contact croatia's goal keeper livakovic as soon as possible to make sure that if bayern will get a backup for neuer if his injury will not yet recovered until the match on the champion league will come soon.
No ETA about when many will recover from his injury but it seems like that mane can comeback before the champion league match.
In addition to that Mane is also injured and it is possible not to see him in the first leg. Because he might not be ready until mid February at least. Of course the team don't consist of only these players but these are both crucial players for the team. PSG had better do their best to keep the trio healthy until then.
Mane already absent from wolrd cup and i hope that will not do that again once the champion league will come soon. PSG might be on so many advantages over bayern munich. The only chance for bayern to get a new keeper as soon as possible. There were some players that ready to replace mane like choupo moting.

That game has got to be a fifty fifty chance game you can not say Paris Saint Germans would win that game all because they saw the one time World best number one goal keeper down with injury which rules him off the season entirely that's not a fair decision and judgement to make as Bayern Munich still has the potential to hurt Paris Saint Germans in the same way.

Sadio Mane should be back already for the Champions League game against PSG my doubt is that hundred percent fit is something I won't guarantee Sadio Mane. Injures like this is not well nursed makes a good player play badly whenever he eventually returns.

Morocco goal keeper signed contract extension not too long with his current club till 2025 that means if they Bayern Munich really wants him, they'll have to splash the cash and I'm sure he will accept that real quick as he is also eyed by Bayern Munich director Olivier Kahn.
The deal has a chance of happening.

For this season, PSG is the favorite to be able to go further, I even predict them to be strong candidates to win this prestigious title in Europe. This season, Les Parisen has strong capital with quite complete player material, I think it is very difficult to stop their run, except for Manchester City, which has an almost even squad like them.

Both have definitely itched there names into the greatest of the game. I see Ronaldo easily becoming a manager, this has been proven from his on field motivational speeches but for Messi it will be a huge surprise, dude is too shy to take up that role but both have vast experience to share to up coming generations. Although there illustrious playing carrier does not guarantee them to be successful managers should they venture on day into it

I don’t know about Lionel Messi, but I can see Cristiano Ronaldo being a manager. These are the two players who have shared the “greatest of all time” tag for a very long time. They have shared a stage that probably no other footballers have. Both of them were and still are really skilled football players. It is hard to imagine that this time is coming to an end.

I know that just because they are really capable players doesn’t mean that they are qualified to be successful managers as well. But I agree with Velvet78, that it is really hard to imagine them staying away from football after their retirement as a player.

Messi and PSG are favorites for the title this season. They also showed great football last year, but allowed themselves to be tricked in the decisive moments. Manchester City is also good, but you cannot compare it to PSG in the front. A mutual confrontation would be nice, but we have not seen that in recent years. Real Madrid are an outsider, but often rise above themselves in the CL, resulting in a sensational win over Liverpool last season. And in that match they turned out to be very stable. Liverpool will not win the CL this season.
PSG have the capability and quality to compete and win the champions league but face major competition against other top European teams like Manchester city and Real Madrid. Liverpool are not in such a good shape this season so it will be difficult to complete in the Champions league. Real Madrid are still my favorite team to win it this year ahead of Manchester City and even PSG because they have much experience in this competition and have the right mentality to go for it.

PSG has the strongest team in the world. Manchester City is often mentioned, but if you compare it individually to PSG, then PSG is much better, right? Perhaps things have improved at PSG since the appointment of the new trainer 1.5 season ago. Last year in the CL they should actually also go through to the final, but they still lost impossible to Real Madrid. That was remarkable, after they won 1-0 at home and were already ahead again. But Bayern Munich also has a strong team. Still, many Bayern players were disappointing at the World Cup. I think PSG will continue this time.

~snip~.
Most teams tend to take the Champions league competition more seriously than their league and Chelsea seem to be one of such teams the season because that is the best explanation to their successful stats in the Champions league and struggles in the league with same players and same manager. I agree with you that Chelsea should not be underated in the Champions league because if their poor form in the league, who knows whether the Champions league trophies is the major objectives for them this season.

Chelsea should be underrated completely in the Champions League.  They have no track record, just that once they won the CL against Guardiola doesn't mean they are not experts in the Champions League. Chelsea is not a contender and their is no hope for them. They didn't take Champions League seriously than English Premier league, what happened is that EPL was stronger and hotter for them. Everyone wants to do well in EPL at the same time this season. There is no great hope for Chelsea in the CL.

Why not, if Potter is able to fix the problems that occur in his squad and find the right strategy formulation. it is not impossible, Chelsea will come back fierce. either in the Domestic League or the Champions League. after all, in fact, Chelsea has potential with its players, even though they are not too favorite in this competition.

I hope Potter sees his players who are competing in the world cup in Qatar, especially for Hakim Ziyech who is playing well with his national team. Potter can give him many opportunities after the league is rolled back, at least Potter has other options to play him as a playmaker or winger. although he is not the answer to Chelsea's needs, Potter can rotate the available players in addition to bringing in newcomers in the upcoming January transfer market. I think Chelsea can overcome Dortmund in the round of 16 later.
I see Chelsea with a lot of potential, I don't see it as a weak team, now things can happen very well for this team, we can also wait to see if there are transfers or purchase of new players, I think they should acquire one more striker to include it in the definitive attack, what Chelsea lacks is a very effective attack so that they can give better results, of course this is my perspective of how I see Chelsea, obviously in the league they can go up and up more, but they are in the UCL, they have a privilege that very few have, because those who were always in the Chelsea position are now in the Europa League.

He was a player who have most followers and fans compared with another great player like messi or etc. that's why any news or rumour about him will be paying so many attention from his fans. Ronaldo has the biggest fan base in the world. Any rumour will attract traffic that will be coming from his fans.
I would not be surprised if ronaldo is always to be linked with some teams that played in the champion league caused by ronaldo wants to play in the champion league team. I doubt that if any clubs that currently participated in the champion league wanna try to let him join.
It seems like all of teams now abandoned him, he has no choice other than try to be paticen and realize his situation.
I do agree that he is one of the greatest players of all time. I am not saying he is THE greatest, but one of the greatest, because I do agree that there are few others. But, looking at his awards and statistics, I could easily say that he is one of the best without a doubt. This dude has played for so long and now he is aging and currently may not be the greatest ever but we should realize that his entire career looks like he is one of the best.

Scoring more goals than anyone else is a big deal just by himself, and that should tell you how good but also how consistent he is as well. That is why I believe that we shouldn't be shocked with everything.

Well, the last thing I've read out there on social networks, I don't know if it's official news or not, but they say that possibly from a bump going to Barcelona, others say that CR7 will not retire from the Portuguese team and that Mou will take charge of They started very little because the truth is that Fernando Santos was criticized a lot for not having put CR7 in the last game, and to be honest I thought it was something very selfish, however if that is the case he will continue playing in the national team until 41 years old and if so, the fans will have CR7 for a while, the only thing is that he has to do a lot of training to overcome the onslaught of age, for me this gets interesting.

For now, some things that are being said about Benzema that they do not want to give details, what makes me understand is that he will be 100% ready to play in the League and in the UCL for Real Madrid:

France coach declines to comment on Karim Benzema's rumored World Cup return

Quote
AL KHOR, Qatar — France coach Didier Deschamps refused to confirm Wednesday a report that star forward Karim Benzema could rejoin Les Bleus in Qatar before they take on Argentina in the World Cup Final on Sunday (10 a.m. ET on FOX and the FOX Sports app).

Spanish outlet Marca claimed Tuesday that the 2022 Ballon d'Or winner has returned to full training with Real Madrid, which he helped win the UEFA Champions League earlier this year, meaning there's a possibility he'll at least be in attendance for Sunday's final. Benzema was originally named to Deschamps’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup but was injured before France played its first game of the tournament. But he was never replaced from the roster, which makes him eligible to return.

And regarding the uncertainty if gh will play in France or not, I think that he will, I have seen some news, which is not confirmed, but they assure that he will play.

Yes, no one knows what could have been, but for Santos, the problem is that there is a simple rule: no results - you are to blame. I remember a similar situation with Scolari - he did not take the legendary Romario to the 2002 World Cup and if Brazil had not won, he would have been destroyed immediately. He was eliminated a little later, but Santos did not win, so his situation is worse.
By the way, it is not yet clear with Europe at the club level, but Ronaldo does not end his career in the national team and is going to prepare for the European Championship in 2024.
I have to say when you have someone as legendary as Ronaldo, you play him no matter what. Even if he is a possible weakness in your club, you play him for all the talent and team leadership he brings.

If everyone acts as if he is not good anymore, that's not just hurting him, it hurts the team as well. Imagine all the players in Portugal who played with him for over a decade and now seeing him being benched, he is leader to most of them, and that is why it's a bit of a trouble as well. That is why I believe he should have started, and considering they lost, what could have happened at worst case? Still a loss in the end at worst, and best case they would have won.

Yes, I completely agree here. This is a complex paradox, but if you took a figure of this size to the team, then you must put him in the team. Because Ronaldo on the bench causes a storm of discussion among journalists and haters alike and ultimately harms the entire team. Probably Santos thought that they would be able to win against Morocco and he would be forgiven for this situation, but in the end his prediction turned out to be wrong.

I agree that Ronaldo doesn't have that luxury of choosing the team he wants anymore. Because he wasn't even able to play properly for Manchester United from the beginning of the season to the date he left the team. He couldn't impress teams by showing a high level of performance in the World Cup either. In this case he can just hope to get an offer from the kind of a team he wants.

But that kind of teams don't seem very likely to make a contract offer to him these days. Of course we have been in the World Cup break so maybe they wanted to wait for the World Cup to end. We will see if he will be able to get an offer from a good team in Europe.

We all know that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Manchester United. But he should go to a club where he will be given the respect he deserves, meaning he can play every game if he is physically fit. If he goes to such a club, maybe his last career will be better.
Correction, Ronaldo has officially parted ways with Manchester United. Manchester United separation from Ronaldo occurred by mutual agreement and Manchester United did not have to pay compensation for the remainder of Ronaldo contract.
Ronaldo can choose any club he wants. Previously he had wanted to leave Manchester United to continue playing in the Champions League, now is the time for Ronaldo to realize his dream with a new club that can give him a place to play in the Champions League.

I don't agree with "Ronaldo can choose any club he wants". He can't move and choose the team he likes so freely, because it definitely involves the team itself, and what if the team he chooses refuses? Maybe it would be more correct to say, if he now can choose the team who wants to sign him, and not that it applies to all teams, because there must be an agreement between the two parties.

Messi's performance in this World Cup is really commendable. Messi is the proof that he is the best player in the world, he is giving one after another in this World Cup. Hopefully, after the World Cup, Messi will join PSG with his performance and play a major role in improving the quality of PSG's game.
Giving the best performance at the world cup this time is what Messi and PSG should have done. In my opinion, what PSG still has to fight for is in the Champions League this season because PSG must be able to win the Champions League title this season so that they can again be seen as a very successful team. Apart from being successful and winning in Ligue1, because in Ligue1 there are not so many teams that have the best squad or even one that is better than PSG.

Messi and Mbappe both have the potential to win a series of new achievement medals for them. currently, the two PSG stars are opponents in the framework of the World Cup event. both of them, will focus more on the Qatar world cup final match before returning to the team as a unit. refer to what you say. yes, and that was obvious to Galliter. their mission is the Champions League, not Ligue 1. and if only for Ligue 1, PSG doesn't need 3 stars at once for their front line. as we know, many say that Ligue 1 is very uncompetitive. in fact, it tends to be said to be a farmers' league.

as for the Champions League, PSG is still the strongest team if we refer to the front line they have. even a club like Bayern Munich is quite reluctant to meet PSG in the last 16 round. the reason is, this has been conveyed directly by Nagelmanns on several occasions when interviewed by the media.

On the Bayern side, we don't have much development and information regarding Sadio Mane's injury. and most recently, the goalkeeper had to be sidelined until the end of this season due to injury. I'm not sure that Bayern's current situation can be an advantage for PSG later. which I hope, after this world cup is over. Messi and his colleagues, back together after the league was rolled back.

Don't be too surprised if there will be big news that comes suddenly because when talking about Ronaldo it seems like this always happens like when he comes to Manchester United and of course leaving Manchester United is also included so it's possible to transfer him later would also be a surprise I guess regardless of where he goes.
Ronaldo will choose a club that is still competing in the Champions League, he can still be included in the squad because the team he previously defended was not registered in the Champions League. Regarding rumors of where Ronaldo will move, it will soon be answered in the next few weeks. Ronaldo needs peace to get rid of his sadness after Portugal was knocked out of the World Cup.

Just want to make it clear that Ronaldo has now parted ways with Manchester United and that even happened before the world cup started.
As for where he is, this possibility will be answered later until he actually makes the same statement as when he was at Manchester United after leaving Juventus.
But there are some rumors now that Madrid are letting him train at their place although this still hasn't changed anything for Ronaldo. But indeed if he returns to a club that is in the champions league for now then this is indeed a good thing.

PSG and man City have both been great this season but its early to start tagging them favourites. The competition will resume after the world finals and we will see maybe they will keep same momentum. PSG has a big test against Bayern and it will be a handful of test for them, until then I am not making any predictions.

Again do not rule out Liverpool because of there bad first half of the season. Many clubs have won this competition playing poorly for the first half of the season. Chelsea's last champions league triumph is a case study
