AC Milan totally dominated the match and created many dangerous opportunities. They were just lack of accuracy with their shots to have goals and finalize Newcastle United. Their opponent only had one chance in the match at 90+5 minute but luckily for AC Milan, if they get a conceded goal from that shot, they even lose the match.

This draw is not a good result for AC Milan but Newcastle United even got one point from the match, they should realize that they are weaker than AC Milan. They have to improve more when facing PSG and Dortmund in this group. One point from a first match is good for them but not enough to help them go to round of 16.

Joao Felix got a good day for Barcelona and he is finding himself in a new club. Hopefully it will help Joao Felix to revive his career after latest bad years in Atletico Madrid and Chelsea. Barcelona are simply so strong in this group and they will not have much trouble to take a first or one of two top tickets in this group for round of 16.

Manchester City got a shock in late of first half but in the second half, they came back strongly and Julian Alvarez with his two goals, helped Manchester City to win this match. It is a good start for Manchester City as a champion but to defend the title, they will have more challenge from big clubs in knock out matches. In history of Champions League, only Real Madrid succeed and Manchester City must work with like 200% of their power and with highest concentration to be a champion again in this season.

As people predicted some of big teams such as PSG, Manchester City and Barcelona has successfully to showing their domination and beat their opponents especially for Barcelona that there were starting this season with big win against weak team Antwerp and Joao Felix has became man of the match because he scores 2 goals and this is good start for Felix because finally he can able to find his touch again

Watching the highlight between AC Milan Vs Newcastle and during the match i can see AC Milan were very dominate the match that they were successfully to pushed Newcastle not develop to their game and Milan got several opportunities to scores but unfortunately Milan players were wasted those opportunities and they have to satisfied with this result however i think this result is good start for Newcastle because at least they didn't lose in the first match

I agree with you but these results Barcelona achieved lately are from months of preparation with young skilled players. I've always said that Barcelona has been on the path to recovery and coming back under Xavi's coaching. His main focus has been to bring back Barcelona to their rightful position since many iconic players (Messi, Suarez,iniesta…) left they needed time to rebuild and adopt a new style of play.
This season right from the early of LaLiga matches it was obvious that Barcelona would compete in all leagues and achieve better results than last year. With a good combination of young talented players and Xavi's experience I believe they have a real shot this time and today’s match was their first victim only.

In today first round of the UCL, most match were as expected IMO, with teams performing similarly to their performance in their local leagues. There was only one exception with Atletico Madrid who lost two points in the last minute. A very rare surprise when Lazio goalkeeper scored the draw goal 1-1 in the 94th minute of the match. This makes him the second goalkeeper in UCL history to score a non penalty goal and the coincidence of wearing the number 94 and scoring in the 94th minute.

Some quite interesting games, Specially that Lazio game was different sort of amazing, a very last second goal from a goalkeeper with a header is not something you see that often, I remember Alisson a few years back, that is the most recent in my mind, it rarely ever happens and this one was specially beautiful looking as well. City lost the half with insane stats but then knew how to make a huge comeback, that was definitely a good one to watch, they truly dominated the game. One of the most anticipated ones was Milan vs Newcastle, even though I believed in Milan, the game ended up with a draw, which is more than enough to be fair for them.

Barcelona will able to go to the play off easily without any problem since the club has porto as the strongest competitor in the group. The rest of the teams like shaktar or antwerp can be easily beaten by barcelona.
In my opinion if finishing at the first of second place will not that bad for barcelona but it's likely barcelona will be leading the competition in this group this time.

AC milan will probably follow Psg for the round of 16. I think Dortmund is not too strong to close the group phase in 2nd place. Yes, this group is the most difficult to predict because both Dortmund and AC Milan don't quite understand the strength of Newcastle United. but for AC Milan they have felt how difficult it is to score goals against Newcastle United.

In group F, PSG managed to become one of the teams that closed the first leg with a win. AC Milan and Newcastle United share 1 point after a draw at San Siro. Maybe we should wait for the next match to strengthen our support for who has a greater chance of reaching the next round.

No need to worry PSG can definitely pass this group phase at least PSG is the 1st or 2nd best club in this group I don't doubt them, the right question is which club will qualify after PSG?  there are 3 clubs that will compete for one ticket to the next round Dortmund, Milan or Newcastle and we know that usually Dortmund and Milan always qualify for the next stage but this time we have Newcastle as a newcomer we don't know how their strength.

City had a pretty good start in their first ever defense of the CL trophy, it wasn't as straightforward as majority would have expected or predicted, but that is what the CL can bring, anyway City with the three points in the end though they missed so many scoring opportunities. Manchester City continue in their 100% record this season, winning every game in the EPL thus far, and now winning their first CL game, i know it sounds somewhat impossible, but could they successfully defend all the trophies they won last season, can they win the CL back to back?

It's a good start from PSG while its competitors must get 1 point to draw against each other. PSG has been trying to maximizing the situation. Newcstle and acmilan are draw and it looks like that PSG will not be trying so hard in passing this group.
Mbappe has been doing it so well by scoring against dortmund through penalty. The only dangerous scenario if PSG cannot win against acmilan and newcastle.
It will be a disaster for the club consider newcastle and acmilan are strongest team in this group after PSG. PSG needs to anticipate that.

With their current condition and by looking at the quality of the other clubs in the same group as Barcelona I don't think this is a big problem for them to qualify from the group phase. This is a good advantage for Xavi especially with today's striking victory makes them surely very confident that they will not be the same as the previous 2 seasons.
With Joao's presence on the wing today, they have many options and their performance has improved especially in goal productivity. Gavi is also quite comfortable back in his ideal position and this is what I expect from Barcelona.

Barcelona is better than the previous years, winning big, 5 goals to 0, and so on...
This doesn't mean Barcelona is a strong tram since they played vs weak team from Belgium called Antwerp.
The real performance will be evaluated when facing teams like Manchester City, Real Madrid, PSG or Bayern Munich.

PSG did a good job scoring 2 goals to 0 vs Dortmund. Such victory will be very important for the second leg game.

Barcelona was in easiest group on UCL. The club will be winning the group stage no matter what happened to its competitors. In fact, the quality owned by barcelona was far above its competitors. That's why im not even feeling doubt why barcelona will able to win the upcoming game easily without any problem. It's not so hard to guess it. Look at how antwerp played as a shitty team in front of barcelona. I expect the rest of clubs will be also doing the same like antwerp.
There's no strong team in barcelona at this moment. Barcelona was winning with very huge margin which has proven how weak barcelona's opponent is. This group will be farmed by barcelona as the strongest one. It's wasy to always pick barcelona at this moment.
The chance barcelona to pass this group was over 98%. Some new players are adapting perfectly to the team's gameplay like felix and cancelo.

At home, PSG had a smooth start in the group of death in the Champions League when they won convincingly against Dortmund. Determined to succeed, PSG rushed to attack right at the beginning of the match, putting pressure on Dortmund's goal. Mbappé successfully took the penalty kick even though goalkeeper Kobel guessed the right direction. Next, Hakimi sealed a 2-0 victory for PSG. The final score could hardly have been 2-0 without missing at least 2 favorable situations at the end of the match. Along with that, Goncalo Ramos was also denied a goal due to offside.
This is the motivation for PSG to aim for the ambition of raising the Champions League championship.

Barcelona started on a good note; likewise Joao Felix who is enjoying time in the catalona side after a failed loan spell at Chelsea. With 3 points in the bag, Xavi will look to lead his side to the round of 16 of the champions league since he took over at Barcelona.

They are in line to win the Champions League they should repeat same history years behind at Wembley this year again. He is always wanted to attack attack attack it's a good thing he is in a system that does that very well.
Chelsea should have extended his contract also but Pochetino said no after talks with him. He has won two man of the match award since he joined Barcelona.
For Newcastle they have shown better performance by keeping clean sheets in the last two games played they are in a good way for the season.

Barcelona has started on a very good note I must say as they not only performed well they also secured a lot of goals for themselves which could be useful in the future just should Incase the need arises, it was an easy game for them tho and they did capitalized on it to keep themselves ahead in the game which can be considered a good move.

But then Barcelona should not sleep on this win as this is just the beginning they have bigger task ahead to face especially if they make it to the round of sixteen then they would have to brace up even more as at that stage they will be meeting matching contenders which any mistake will cost them the league even tho I don't see them lifting the trophy but a good play to reach quarter finals wouldn't be a bad idea.

In the mean time congratulations to Barcelona for securing a win along side three points, a good way to begin, probably an edge that can be utilized for their journey through the league. Barcelona also have their coach doing a great job aswell, I will say together with the team they should keep up the good work and make sure give room for improvement as they have bigger task ahead.

Manchester United is not in the best mood at the moment, this is a big opportunity for Bayan Munich, the first match of the season, Bayan Munich will definitely want to beat Manchester United. If Manchester United were in their best rhythm, it would be very difficult for Bayan Munich to win, but at the moment, since Manchester United is suffering from consistency, Bayan Munich will take advantage of this opportunity and think about winning this match easily. The game is very easy for Barcelona because there are stronger then the other opponent, Barcelona champions league competition group is very cheap for them to qualify to around of 16,  if Barcelona will perform very well definitely we are going to see it in the round 16  Felix is very good i enjoy is ball when he play for Atlantic Madrid the boy is very talented i like how is playing on the pitch, i think he will continue to help Barcelona in the league and champions league If Barcelona can continue winning matchs like today, am very sure they can try and win the champion league cup, Xavi is trying to make the team stronger and great am very sure he will win another trophy this season for Barcelona.
