To be precise PSG is one of the best clubs in Ligue 1, I don't want to judge PSG as one of the best clubs in the world because they have never even won the Champions League trophy. PSG's shortcomings so far have been because they are not held by a great coach who is experienced in the Champions League, the attitude of PSG management which seems difficult to bring in a great coach makes it difficult for them to compete with other clubs.

The arrival of a great coach does not guarantee that PSG will immediately win the Champions League trophy, they must wait at least two years for PSG players to blend in with the style used by the coach. Zidane can be used as a solution to overcome problems that have not been solved so far, PSG management must act immediately, they also need to be jealous of Manchester City who have just won their first UCL trophy.
I see that there are not many coaches who dare to take too big risks, what I mean is that working as a PSG coach means accepting the demands of winning the Champions League. If in a matter of two or three seasons you can't win it, then get ready to be kicked out. They don't think about investing in potential youth players from the academy, and trust them to prove their quality. The PSG management and the owners in particular want instant things, bring in star players so they will give you trophies. At least in fact that's how PSG built their squad with their money.

Thiago Silva, Ibrahimovich, Pastore, Di Maria, Veratti, Cavani, Messi to David Beckham who they brought in were among the stars, their big names didn't have a big influence on the club. This means that they cannot lead PSG to win the Champions League and can only win the Ligue 1 Champion. Another fact is that their former captain David Silva himself won the Champions League with Chelsea after leaving there. It is a fact that training or playing for PSG is very difficult, because you are always required to win every game. Luis Enrique has been officially appointed as their coach for the next two years, this means Zidane will have to wait until Enrique is out of contract or is dismissed.

I agree with your comments here. There is one important criticism I would like to add. Defending power lies behind Manchester City's success against PSG. Mbappe Messi and Neymar played together in this team and it's a very good offensive line. but I don't think PSG's defense is good even though they have a good offensive line. If you notice, the whole team is always trying to defend in important matches. Because the players who need to defend can't defend enough. Offensive players can't do exactly what they're supposed to do because they're helping the defense. This is PSG's biggest problem when playing with a major opponent.

Well, ideally how Galtier implement the system. not only once or twice he changed the system, but he always changed it in every match. that means, Galtier does not have a grip that is a mainstay. before we correct how PSG's defensive line is, we must see how consistent their midfielders are. In fact, I don't see that there are top players in the midfield position, especially defensive midfielders, or can we say players who become pivots. besides that, PSG doesn't have players to help their front line. that is to say, a more creative attacking midfielder. that's why, I say that this team is not balanced.
PSG can't only rely on MNM to play up front, but the team should be overall equal. thus, it is certain that PSG will be stronger and they should be able to move at least to the quarter-finals. unfortunately, Galtier and PSG were not able to go that far.
now that PSG is under the tutelage of Luis Enrique, obviously I am very curious about what he will do with his new squad, which newcomers Enrique will bring in this summer's transfer window. that's why it's very important to know PSG's strength map, in the 2023/2024 season.

For City, Pep put the ideal players in their respective positions, in fact, he dared to use the 3-2-4-1 pattern. there are 3 central players in the defense, two pivots and four players who provide services to Haaland as a goal scorer. the difference in this system, is very obvious with PSG. in fact, Galtier was unable to maximize his squad. well, very reasonable, if City is still the favorite team for next season.

The reason for PSG they spend lots of money but they can't get anything in the champions league is mostly because they didn't have a good manager and they just bought superstar players while PSG didn't have a balanced team, this situation made chaos in PSG that's why they players couldn't have a good atmosphere in the team to have good performance.

PSG is one of the best clubs in the world, they play well in their league, but when they play in the Champions League, their performance is very poor, the coach doesn't have the skills for playing in the Champions League, they need to change the coach if they want to perform well next season, I see there are several new players already since Messi left the team, I would prefer Zidane to coach them, he was one of the best coaches when he coached Real Madrid, and he won the Champions League
If he can coach PSG, he will know which players to buy to help the team win the Champions League.

Pep Guardiola is not only a great coach but in the figure of a shrewd coach. He has proven capable of inventing tactical innovations for every team he leads. Since he first handled Manchester City, he has been able to make Manchester City's game always develop from season to season. Last season, Pep Guardiola changed John Stones' position from a central defender to a defensive midfielder. Then, there is Manuel Akanji who has been transformed into an all-round defender.
Indeed, it is worth admitting that the tactics possessed by a Pep Guardiola are very great because they are able to change players for the better on the lines he wants so that the Manchester City team really looked stronger last season and this was proven by the treble winner they got. Next season Manchester City will still be very strong even though several other teams are also trying to get stronger, but Pep Guardiola will of course always make a better tactic in order to get another treble winner next season.
To achieve a treble winner in a row is indeed very difficult because there is no history of a manager or a club that has been able to achieve a treble winner in a row. However, as a coach, Pep Guardiola has set a record for being the first coach to be able to win the treble twice with different clubs. Next season Manchester City remains a candidate for the championship in the premier league and champions league. Not because City is the defending champion, but as long as there is Pep Guardiola as a coach, Man City has always been a champion candidate.
This is possible in EPL and other local league that is mostly dominated by few clubs, but in champion league which is made up of champions from the different domestic league, it will be a very difficult task to accomplish. Pep Guardiola may not go that far by next season. Reason being that a good number of clubs has joined the raise due to the efforts of last season. Many are getting their system set for the champion league and other top contenders like Madrid, Bayern,  PSG, who left the tournament last season, will be coming back with a different fight g spirit. Guardiola is a legendary coach, but next season's champion league will be a tough fight for him.

If that's true, it means that the main problem is with their own manager so that PSG can't do much in the Champions League, even though they already have more superstar players in their team. Because a strong team is not only good on the front lines, but almost on all fronts must be good in order to continue to compete in the Champions League. And from what I've seen so far at PSG, I think what you said is true because PSG played like they didn't have good tactics during the match.

So hopefully, with the new coach Luis Enrique, who has proven to be an experienced coach and has many variations of tactics, he can accurately buy players that PSG really needs and there is no need for PSG to want to buy super expensive players with exorbitant salaries, if only to fulfill the owner's desires. course, because it proved futile.
You can forget about Mbappe, he has already started conflicts with the leadership over financial issues, so Enrique can only rely on Neymar. As strange as it may sound, the player that PSG wanted to get rid of in the first place can remain in the team. By the way, despite his temper, Neymar is indeed a very talented player and as time has shown for PSG, he turned out to be a player you can rely on. I believe that Enrique can make PSG a truly great team, because Galtier is still a great mystery to me.

Luis Enrique is a very experienced coach. So far we have seen that Mbappe was the most influential coach in the PSG squad. But with Luis Enrique as coach, Mbappe probably won't be able to do that anymore. Mbappe looks set to leave the club. Luis Enrique will also likely want to rebuild the squad with his preferred players. While the PSG squad has a lot of talented players, this team is not very strong. This is probably why Luis Enrique will want to revamp the team.

I would like to see Neymar and Mbappe together for the last time this season and i think Mbappe has made up his mind to leave PSG. I wonder how Mbappe will interact with Luis Enrique if he stays at PSG. Enrique develops very good strategies for possession and we saw that when coaching Spain. I don’t see they as one of the strongest candidates for the Champions League Championship this year, if PSG did not make the right transfer and Mbappe did not stay in the team.

If the Paris team and the city give him full support, if the management approves the transfers he wants and if they are patient, PSG will be successful in the long run. But the problem is that i don't think that will happen, and i don't think Qatar the original owner of the team, will allow Luis Enrique's decisions one hundred percent. A difficult year begins for Luis Enrique.

I think their coach is pretty good. Just look at the history of the PSG coach. The average age of training them is only 2 to 3 years. In addition to the atmosphere is not conducive, it seems that PSG cannot make the players mentally work hard. They seem too comfortable with a large salary and good facilities since changing owners. Maybe PSG can change the format of the coach for a longer term. For example, 5 years or 10 years. Just look at Man City, it took them about 7 years to get the UCL cup with Man City. For PSG's local league class there is no doubt but for Europe they are still weak.

PSG is basically making the players feel a little too comfortable in the team. The players do not feel like they need to prove themselves to the PSG authority to actually be on the team. And of course, there is not enough chemistry between their players themselves. When the players are not sure about what they are doing on the field, they are never going to be performing as well as they should. The players simply lack motivation. Players are not going to play well without the need of playing well. The day PSG players understand that only winning the league title is not enough is the day when they are going to try.

The case of PSG with lot of quality players with nothing to show for it at the champions league is the same as what happened to Chelsea this previous season. Too many talented players but couldn’t put them into good use becomes a wasted effort and resources by the club.
Chelsea don't have many talented players, but they have many overrated players and they make it worse by spent higher than the players' market value.

The problem of PSG they only have few talented players and their opponents are weak, so when they always win in Ligue 1, there's no club can become their rival to learn and improve their club. Lack of motivation and overconfident are the big enemies for club which is already in top position, Arsenal is one of them.

If they have high self-confidence, then of course they have great motivation. So, it seems it's not about motivation but yes, lack of self-confidence makes them not have a big winning mentality. Plus, they still don't have the management and squad depth to be at least as good quality. Therefore, it's no wonder that their team still failed in the Champions League and also, the Champions League is the highest trophy, of course, if they are not consistent, it is difficult for them to get the Champions League title and trophy.

One of the best reviews I've read about Chelsea. I largely agree with your assessment. Chelsea spent 330 million euros during the January transfer window. They said they wanted to lower the average age of the squad, but they made disappointing transfers. They will not be able to participate in the European Cups next season, but even if they qualify for the European Cups next season, they may be banned from the European Cups due to financial problems. They are going through a really bad time. They signed with Mauricio Pochettino. Frankly, I think Mauricio Pochettino has taken on a very difficult task.

PSG will not be a strong team without Mbappe, even if you only rely on Neymar, it will be very difficult unless you get talented players from other teams. even though Luis Enrique is an experienced coach, he must know that staying silent when Mbappe wanted to leave PSG was like a big problem for him because, on the other hand, Neymar was not as strong as he used to be after the injury he experienced made his performance decline. If someone says there are still a lot of reliable players at PSG, I slightly disagree, then what about Messi and Mbappe who will leave? Who else will PSG rely on?

How do you say that PSG will not be a strong team without Mbappe. Manchester City or Real Madrid team is not strong without Mbappe? Even with Mbappe in the team, it's not as if PSG were much stronger. PSG's performance in the Champions League was not good. I think Enrique will build a completely new PSG team. Despite spending a lot of money in the last few seasons, PSG's performances have not been as good as expected. And so it is possible that PSG management has tasked Enrique with building a completely new squad. I don't think PSG would benefit much from keeping Mbappe. Despite dominating Ligue 1, the PSG team is still weak for the Champions League. PSG team needs overall changes.

~snip~

Of course, all teams are building more teams to face the new season, it is very visible that several big teams have brought in classy players such as Arsenal, Man Untied and Real Madrid. they all have big ambitions next season to be able to compete for the Champions League.
So far, I have not been satisfied with the transfer of Real Madrid. I think they haven't maximized only bringing in 4 new players. Including Joselu, I don't feel sure he will easily adapt to Real Madrid. I think Real should look for another transfer. I think they need 1 striker, midfielder and centre-back. Maybe Mbaape is the best option, but the situation is still uncertain. Liverpool are also interested in his match. So I don't feel confident with the current state Real Madrid can succeed in the UCL next season.

If this is intended as a joke, I'll happily enjoy it while munching on some popcorn. However, if you're serious, it seems like you're endorsing PSG's questionable behavior. In all honesty, Galtier deserves a break. Just take a look at the short duration he was given – it was barely a year and two days ago when he was appointed. Expecting him to win the Champions League in such a short time is unrealistic. In my opinion, his performance was decent considering he managed to secure the Ligue 1 title for the second time in his career. Instead of abruptly sacking him, PSG should have granted him more time. If other clubs followed PSG's approach, teams like Manchester City would never have achieved their current successes.

Whoever controls PSG has a hot temper, Messi left, Neymar is also considering the same thing and Mbape is also under some pressure to renew their clown contract or should live the club, they think they can win the Champions League, if they continue with this attitude towards players, there Champions League winning is uncertain because it can never be anytime soon.

You made a valid point here, even if a team gets all the most expensive players in the world, they can’t succeed without a good manager to manage the team well. When PSG signed Messi, Neymar and Mbappe everyone thought they’ll be unbeatable and they will win the champions league trophy for the first time but all proved to be futile.

A coach like Pep Guardiola will be able to manage that team very well to the champions league final. Now all the players are separating, I don’t know if PSG’s dream of winning the champions league will be fulfilled dream soon.

Manchester City also just won the Champions League title for the first time, so indeed it's never too late for PSG and that applies to all clubs. But PSG can be said to be more serious for UCL, they recruit superstar players and does not matter with the cost. Previously, Neymar was the player with the most expensive transfer fee. PSG were very serious about signing players but they were not very lucky and now their hope is in Enrique hands, seeing its historical achievements, PSG should be able to be better than the previous season.
I didn't count how long it took Manchester City to finally be able to win the champions league after they turned into a rich club, it must have been quite a long time, not one, two or three seasons after that they won the most prestigious title for these European clubs. Pep Guardiola came to City and needed several seasons to bring this club to a championship. Indeed, he at Barcelona could quickly give the title, but at City it took quite a long time.
So it took PSG a long time to achieve that, Luis Enrique a manager who has enough experience he might be able to change this club not only into a club that is known for being rich but also for achieving it but it takes time, not just 1-2 seasons it can take time, the problem is whether the club owner will have the patience to wait for it, if they just keep changing managers every time they fail in the champions league don't expect a title to be won, look at City who really trusted Pep even though several years failed in the champions league and that trust paid off this year by winning for the first time.

Its not guarantee with Luis Henrique winning Champion League tittle with PSG although success with Barcelona because main problem in PSG its not head coach but players mentality. Difficult for all manager how to make one teams unity exactly in PSG have many star player and some of them more priority playing as individual than teams.

A big part of PSG's problem is head coach. They have never had a good coach in my opinion. If they had a manager like Pep, even if they might not have won the champions league, they would have been playing better. PSG struggle even against the least team in the league. With the kind of squad they have they should be able to win games comfortably, or at least play convincingly.

The time PSG had a good coach in Thomas Tuchel they got to the final of the champions league.
Another part of PSG's problem is their management. I don't think they understand how to run a football club. The coaches should be given more freedom to choose players he wants the club to buy and players that he doesn't need or want in his squad.
