Manchester city did not make more extra preparations in the transfer window this season because the existing squad is perfect for them to compete next season either in the EPL or in the Champions League. Pep Guardiola might bring in a backup or replacement player just in case their main player is injured.
This is also quite a wise method, because Pep Guardiola also doesn't want to just let go of the existing players if these players can still be relied on to make a very good contribution to the Manchester City team. So Pep Guardiola only looks at new players in the transfer market to put on the bench to be able to deal with unexpected things like you said and most of the time it is the injury to the main player.
We know that there are so many top-level players who are on the Manchester City bench like Phil Foden or Julian Alvarez and if these players leave Manchester City, they will certainly be a starter choice at their new club. But indeed Pep Guardiola is always hunting for backup players who are of equal quality to his main players and it is not surprising that he has finally started hunting for other talented players to fill in for backup if someone gets injured later.

Currently, Manchester City's negotiation process with Gvardiol has reached an agreement, but Leipzig have yet to agree to this because they want an offer of around 100 million euros so that Gvardiol will become the club's biggest sale. But I'm pretty sure that Gvardiol will join Manchester City even though he will have to compete with other defenders for regular minutes. Pep Guardiola certainly wants the target to be able to bring Manchester City to win the Champions League again and therefore every season he will always update his squad with several new players who will strengthen the team.

Guardiola is an interesting character because he already said that he is going to leave Manchester City in 2025 and his decision stands. I often believe that he will change it again because he is building an impressive project there and might leave it at its peak even though it already peaked this year, but still. But what speaks for him sticking to his word is that he left FC Barcelona when Messi was in his prime. To think that he will stay because he now has Haaland and could turn him into the world's best or most efficient soccer player  is no valid point because then he would have stayed for the sake of enjoying Messi and get his name also tagged to Messi's success. i like him because he keeps building and developing the teams even though he knows he might leave soon. He never only gives 90% as a coach. We can look forward to another impressive season in the Champions League as well and for me Manchester City is the favorite. If Mbappe goes to Real Madrid, I think we can look forward to a clash of the giants very soon.

There are still much rumors about Real Madrid, I heard that they are getting closer to sign Mbappe lately. I know Perez already stated to sign Mbappe next year, but he may change his mind after looking at Real Madrid current squad. Mbappe's contract is only 1 year left, his price should be lower that last year. Ideallly, Mbappe's transfer fee is below €200m now. So, Real Madrid has a chance to sign him in current transfer window.

Yeah, Florentino Perez said that this transfer wouldn't happen now but they were going to sign him for certain. He must have said it like that because of Mbappe's having one more year on his contract. But currently things are getting more interesting. Because PSG don't want to let Mbappe go without a transfer fee.

On the other hand Mbappe is willing to stay for his last year on the contract as well and then leave. There is a big disagreement as a result and PSG might really think of selling him this summer right away. They still have time to think about that but it doesn't look like they can convince Mbappe for a contract renewal.

No matter what happens, mbappe will leave PSG after the upcoming season because he needs to go on to a new team in order to succeed; he cannot merely continue to play for PSG without trying to progress his career. As one of the top players in the world, mbappe deserves to play for a better team than PSG; but, PSG is adamant about keeping him.
I think that once Mbappe finishes playing for PSG the following season, that will be it. He will then be free to play wherever he wants. I just hope he chooses Real Madrid because they truly need him.

Those who think Manchester City is successful in the transfer market just because they have money are wrong. Because if money was the only way to succeed in the transformer market, then PSG's name would be on top. Manchester City are successful in the transfer market because they have a successful manager and they have money. With money and an experienced manager, they became a successful team. And Pep Guardiola has made a big contribution to the players they have bought and turned the team into a balanced team. The unchanged squad that saw Manchester City lift the Champions League trophy last season is very strong for next season and a cause for concern for any opposition.
Money is one of the things which I can say contributes to the success of a club, money spent on quality players when the transfer window is open always contribute to how the club is going to perform that season, pep have being doing well, with all the players pep Guardiola is signing, then we all see that he is getting prepared for next season, we all know that a strong player which is Gundogan already left Manchester City, so pep Guardiola needs to be very careful so that he can get a perfect replacement for him.

But sometimes a club will spend huge amount when the transfer season is open and they will send up performering poorly that season, their won’t be postitive result for the money they spend, similar thing happened to chelsea last season, so it’s not all about signing players, but a coach needs to sign experienced players that are dedicated to work for the team.
Gundogan Germany The midfield star has already moved to Barcelona. As a result, the matter has become a cause of concern for Manchester City manager Guardiwala. Because this German midfield star played great for Manchester City in the last season but he could not stay with Manchester City in the end, the main reason being that he will not stay in Manchester City on a one-year contract. However, Guardiola must find a worthy replacement this summer transfer window. As Gundogan is captaining Manchester City, Kevin De Bruyne may be captaining Manchester City in his absence.
Gundogan is a great player and his seven year in man city has a great impact to the club. He is worth more than a year contract and that was why he moved to Barca and I believe he will make them proud in Spain. Gaurdiola will have to make a quick replacement so that the loop hole will be covered. Man city next season will miss Gundogan presence but they will be able to play without him since he is gone for real. De bruyne will become the captain of the club because if you watch out anytime Gundogan is being substitute,he give the captain band to De bruyne.
Gundogan has finally moved to Barcelona after 7 years at Manchester City. He might not be so remembered by Man City fans if he hadn't achieved so much in his last season. In the last season he managed to lead Manchester City to win the Champions League trophy for the first time and his performances for Manchester City in the last season were outstanding mainly because of this he will be missed a lot by Manchester City fans. If he performs better for Barcelona than he did for Manchester City last season, Manchester City fans may regret not keeping him in the team.

I just realized because Sevilla the winner of europa league then this year Laliga has 5 representative in champion league but very interesting to see Sociedad journey next season because this is their first europa tournament after 10 years and last time they were joined on season 2013-2014 and at that time their performance were really messed up because from 6 matches on group stage Sociedad only able to collect 1 points and their final position is in the bottom of group standings

For next season some of fans were hopes Sociedad can talk more to this competition although it's hard but it probably can be realized and they have good players such as David Silva, Takefusa Kubo or Alexander Sorloth who can scores 14 goals during last season in all competitions however for drawing pot Sociedad probably in the pot 3 or pot 4 and they more likely will met strong teams from England or Italy so their journey will be so difficult this time

For Pep Guardiola to be interested in Kovacic, he must have seen something special in him that can help the entire squad. Nobody becomes a master midfielder overnight; it takes time, therefore I'm positive about Kovacic's future at Manchester City. He's not a horrible player, and he fared well for Chelsea despite their awful performance last season.
Pep is a good manager for any player, kovacic will improve next season. The excitement of being signed by the best club team in the world right now will get to him and give him a new burst of confidence. With Manchester City, he may not immediately become a first team player, but he surely will have some importance to Manchester City next season. Manchester City are the defending champions of the UEFA champions league, players will need to play at the same top level to defend the title, kovacic will improve to that standard.
Hope that's what we want next season, because Pep is a genius coach, he will definitely be able to make Kovacic appear more brilliant in the next season. Other than that kovacic will probably compete more strongly for the first place in the Team. Apart from that Kovacic was also given Gundogan jersey number and I think that's why he was mentioned as the perfect replacement for Gundogan.

PSG was asking very big fees. The problem is mbappe is not also willing to lose his money. That's why he is staying at PSG even longer and waiting for his contract to expire and he can leave with free agent.
Liverpool has been rumored to buy him with very big price but so far, there's no update regarding this news. It has been reported by people from FIFA.

PSG will be losing a lot if the club is not trying to sell him. Mbappe will help club to recover some money that being used to buy him from monaco.
His name becomes big due to the biggest transfer by PSG in the past.

IIkay Gundogan for a fact is world class midfielder who's prowess in the middle of the park can never be undermined. But I don't think his departure from Manchester City to Barcelona will create a significant vacuum in City's midfield.
After he left City for Barcelona, Manchester City has signed a suitable replacement for his position at the club. Mateo Kovacic will not just replace his position but also his jersey number at the club and with Pep Guardiola's rotational skills, City would've still not felt his departure even without signing Kovacic
Mateo Kovacic is a pretty decent replacement on par with IKay Gundogan for the same position. I am also very impressed with the tactics implemented by Pep Guardiola in terms of selecting and releasing his players to keep the team running on actual performance and I think Manchester City will still be a strong team next season in the Premier League competition and the Champions League because Manchester City is still have more great players in their current team.
Although Kovacic is not a terrible replacement for Gundogaan, he is not the ideal one either. Kovacic lacks some of Gundogaan's technical and tactical skills, but he also possesses some of his own strengths. He is excellent with the ball in his grasp and in retaining possession, which is Guadiola's main reason for including him in the squad.  The biggest trait of Pep Guardiola that I admire is his keen awareness of the types of players he needs and his refusal to sign anyone who he doesn't intend on using. He like using midfielders who are excellent at maintaining possession, and I have no doubt that Kovacic will contribute greatly to the club.
The upcoming season will be extremely competitive, and while all of the underperforming teams from the previous season will make an effort to turn things around, all teams are already hard at work strengthening their squads through transfers. It's great that Manchester City has decided to follow as well.

I agree with you. Mateo Kovačić is unlikely to be in Manchester City's starting XI. And so Mateo Kovačić cannot be called a worthy replacement for Gundogan. Mateo Kovačić is a really talented player. However, since Gundogan has been with Manchester City for a long time, it will not be easy for City to fill his void. But City coach Guardiola is very experienced. He doesn't make match strategies based on any particular player. This is the reason why we will probably see a steady performance from Manchester City next season as well.

Manchester City will definitely miss Gundogan, his a player with so much technical abilities likewise tactically, meanwhile Pep Guardiola letting go of his best player's means no harm to City, take a look at Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and also Zinchenko who all left for various clubs, they didn't feel the loss if those player's even though they're solid players who was part of the first team. I can't wait for the season to kick off honestly, currently I still don't see any club capable of outplaying them in the Premier League.

I'm not sure if Mateo Kovacic can be a worthy replacement for Gundogan. Gundogan is a great player. And since he has been with the City squad for a long time, he has adapted well to this squad. And along with assists, he could also score goals when the team needed them. However, Mateo Kovacic has scored 4 goals and assisted 17 in his last 5 seasons with Chelsea. I don't think Guardiola has found a suitable replacement for Gundogan.
Maybe we can't compare Kovacic appearance or performance at Chelsea with Manchester City because while at Chelsea maybe he didn't get the right duel so it was difficult to develop the quality he had. Moreover, last season Chelsea performed quite badly, of course that would make it difficult for him to make many contributions to Chelsea. Indeed, I don't think we can compare Kovacic with Gundogan because we need to see the quality of him with Manchester City next season. There is no doubt about Gundogan quality, especially since he is a key player and the team captain, of course, has a big contribution on the field. I think even though Gundogan has left Manchester City, Pep Guardiola has a lot of players who can play in that position. It's just that they didn't get more playing minutes when Gundogan was still with Manchester City. Kovacic is a player who already understands the EPL atmosphere. I think he will quickly adapt to Pep Guadiola scheme of play.

City has been also getting kovacic as a replacement for him and why shall city feel worry about that? Kovacic has been winning more UCL compared with gundogan. he has been also experiencing played in the some big clubs like real madrid and chelsea and got success with both of clubs. There's no thing that must be feeling worry about that. City is also trying to find more midfielders too. Some candidates already linked to the city.
Gundogan was not only a good player in the world. Missing him will not make it difference for manchester city.

You can take a look at this and compare him with gundogan https://www.transfermarkt.com/mateo-kovacic/erfolge/spieler/51471
kovacic will be able to take on the task of being a worthy replacement after Gundogan leaves. Indeed, there is nothing to worry about about the quality that Kovacic has because Pep Guardiola knows the strengths that Kovacic has so Pep is very sure that he will get the right replacement for the position left by Gundogan.

So next season Manchester City will be the strongest team in the Champions League. They have Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland and Manchester also have a pretty strong defense. Pep Guardiola will try to repeat the success of this season in the season to come. He is quite an influential coach at the moment and understands the situation that must be addressed in his team.

If there is one coach I won't argue for his player choice it would be guardiola, the man knows exactly what he needs in a player and utilizes these players to their very best. Kovacic in mere comparation doesn't match gundogan but I still can't wait to see him perform because I believe with guardiola as his coach now he definitely play much better than he is currently rated.

I feel it is very clear indeed between them but Pep Guardiola could adjust that later with Kovacic as Gundongan's replacement will probably stay in the same position.

I will not doubt Kovacic's ability he will definitely maintain or improve his performance with Man City of course by performing like this then their midfield line will be stronger and I feel that after Kovacic replaced him there is no significant difference in this case, Pep Guardiola is always there a good plan in choosing the player he wants.
Of course, Pep Guardiola can get Kovacic into top form, but so far Kovacic seems like nothing but his spells with top teams like Real Madrid, Chelsea and Inter. Maybe Pep Guardiola has a different approach for him than some of the coaches who have worked with him so far. Kovacic is a good midfielder, but I don't see him as a midfielder who can really stay long in a team with big contributions.

I don't expect it to be a hasty buy, but it's always possible to fall short due to competition between players. It's not easy to take a first place in the Manchester City squad, but if Kovacic adapts well and is able to have good form then he will get it.
