My predictions went horribly wrong for the quaterfinals for the champions league. After the 1st leg, I had predicted Barcelona to win over PSG on homeground and I was wrong. I predicted the same for Manchester City and I was wrong again. I got right on Dortmund and Bayern but that don't matter much.
Now there two all time highest semi final participants team in this season semi finals too. Real Madrid and Bayern Munich and I believe we'll see them fight for the finals and Dortmund and PSG both are not in their best and are on semis winning poorer teams.
As Real Madrid is a very good team and Man City is also a good team, it was a very tough game in this match, but in this match Man City won the match but lost it after protecting themselves for a few steps. However, PSG's match with Barcelona was a boring game. It was not expected that Barcelona would play so badly against PSG. Like you, I predicted that Barcelona would win that match, and I was wrong. But I was confused about today's match against Man City and Real Madrid. Here Real Madrid won the match

I watched the match and it was noticeable that the red card greatly affected Barcelona's efficiency, despite its brilliant performance with only ten players. It was clear that Barcelona became disorganized after Araujo left due to exclusion.
This was a dream come true for Paris Saint-Germain to achieve excellence and qualify for the next league. The goal difference was not very wide, however, and all analysts in sports publications, in addition to club experts, confirmed that PSG would have been far from winning this victory had it not been for the fatal foul that caused Araujo's elimination. The same analysts confirmed that Barcelona's chances of winning would not have been diminished by the exclusion of one player, regardless of his position or performance, if the opposing team had not been PSG.
I read the interview of Gundogan and he criticized three biggest mistakes in the match that caused the painful loss for Barcelona. I really agree with his thinking like in the first conceded goal, Araujo actually can do it better. He can simply let that situation goes on and accept risk that PSG will score a goal from it. If more luckily, Barcelona goalkeeper can save it and no conceded goal at all.

By making a foul like this, he gave PSG a penalty and risk to get a conceded goal is higher and another big advantage is a red card when the match still has many time ahead. This situation and that bad decision from Araujo actually cost too much for Barcelona. A red card destroy the tactical operation of Barcelona and gave PSG very good advantage to control the match even they played home away.

It was a bad night for Barcelona, as they took the lead of 4-2 in goal aggregate, but unfortunately for them a red card weaken the team and the whole game turned back to hunt them. I will say why the defense was porous was because the vacuum Araujo left was not filled. He is a defender and made the worst decision that cost them their exit out of the champions league, because they were playing with a big team.
Red card becomes a big problem for Barcelona (in fact, for any club, of course). Araujo was not careful in bringing down his opponent, so he received the red card after VAR analysis. And this really made the situation completely reversed for PSG to be able to attack Barcelona more easily. In fact, Barcelona was already in the lead from a goal by Rapinha in the 12th minute. This really was quite a bad dream for Barcelona, because after winning at home to PSG, it turned out that it could be turned around very hard. Say bye to Barcelona, the important thing is that PSG really has the chance to enter the final if they can win against Dortmund. And it seems like it would be very possible to do that

To be frank I don't believe Haaland has lost his form since his return from injury because He has not really been performing well even before his latest injury especially big teams. Though your reason is something I can agree with that these teams usually are able to locked him but I think there are two things left which is either Pep change his formation to make a support for him in order for him not to be the only player in the forefront like you said or it's up to Haaland to improve his skills and overcome this hurdle, which I think will be better for a player of his profile.

Yesterday I lost a bet, but it was to my friend  Cheesy

I had a lot of confidence that Manchester City would manage to qualify, with difficulty of course, but I was wrong
Real have shown once again that they are the greatest team in the Champions League and that tradition plays a big part in deciding matches, it's hard to explain and perhaps it doesn't even have a logical explanation, but in deciding matches the team achieves unbelievable results
This was something I was expecting though I never thought the winner will be determined by a penalty shoot out though when the penalty shoot out started I had almost full feelings that Real Madrid will win since they were used to such situation, having experienced than any other team to me though I might be wrong.

The next Real Madrid vs Bayer Munich match is going to be very interesting
Will Real be able to nullify Harry Kane like they did Haaland?
Harry Kane is totally a different player than Haaland and I don't think that there is any actual 9 is better than him now. While this game in general is a game I can't predict though Real Madrid as mainly been the better team against Bayern Munich in the champions league but I think Bayern still have a chance to win even if they are having one of their worst season in over a decade now. This is their only chance of getting a trophy this season.

I think we might be getting another Psg vs Bayern Munich final which will be more intense than seeing Real Madrid VS psg in the final.

There is no doubt that Manchester City's performance was good enough in this match. City players tried to dominate the home match. But Manchester City was defeated by Madrid's experienced match tactics.

Haaland is still too gentle in important matches like this. He had almost no threat from the first leg to this second leg. If it weren't for Kevin De Bruyne, Mancity probably would have lost in the main round.

Mancity repeated Barca's mistake when playing at home but could not take advantage of this great advantage. When the match went to penalty shootouts, it was clear that the pressure on Mancity was much greater than on Real Madrid. They put an end to themselves when they missed two penalties. It's a pity that both PRemier League representatives had to stop in the quarterfinals.

Erling Haaland is not really a threat to Real Madrid even though the player seems to be favored by Man City, it is actually KDB who is a big threat to Real Madrid players. He is actually the best attacking midfielder that Man City has and he could be the player they want to play. needed if the club felt difficult, he also tried to become man of the match because he was able to equalize in the 76th minute after Madrid took the lead in the first half.

But Barca made a mistake and got a red card, making PSG feel at an advantage in the second leg, while Man City faced a different situation, their opponent is the most difficult club in the UCL and is not affected whether they play away or at home, so Man City is not the only threat for Madrid to continue. advanced to the semifinals, now there are no more EPL clubs competing in the UCL because they have been eliminated in the quarter-finals.

From the start, Manchester City and Real Madrid were quite the favorites to win the Champions League and now that Manchester City has been knocked out, of course Real Madrid is the most favored team to win the Champions League this season and I don't doubt that, they have everything to make it happen.

I don't know what kind of luck you're talking about. City had (including the first match) 210 minutes of pure playing time to prove that they were stronger, but they could not do it. By the way, if you remember the first game, it was really an accident that City scored three goals. Despite the fact that Real won in a penalty shootout, it was a natural victory for Ancelotti, which completely neutralized Guardiola's plan.
As Ancelotti said, this record must be broken and it was proven even though they played with total defense, but honestly I saw Madrid performance differently, the players were very focused and alert not to make mistakes.
There is nothing wrong if Real Madrid played defensive football against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium yesterday night. Having a coach who can read matches and know the best tactics to deploy is good, and that is what Ancelotti did yesterday, and it worked for him. Ancelotti's tactics helped Real Madrid knock out Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League quarter final.
Both Real Madrid and Man City teams naturally tried hard to play well and in the end the score was tied at 1-1 but unfortunately Man City lost the match on penalties. But this match was quite enjoyable. But watching this Arsenal vs Bayern Munich match, I was surprised how Arsenal played the match. Arsenal lost the last Premier League match badly against Aston Villa. Arsenal's performance like this is a shame for them. but today as a Quarter final match, Arsenal should have tried to play better

Haaland didn't score, and there might be a reason for that. He didn't perform too well against Real Madrid in both matches. Even with a lot of possession, Man City couldn't win against Real Madrid. Madrid's strong mentality, dedication, and teamwork helped them secure the win in this must winning match. They showed their strength tonight and got revenge for last year's defeat. While ball possession has helped many teams win games, Madrid's solid defense was the key this time. Man City didn't capitalize on their chances as effectively as they usually do. Despite City being considered the stronger team, Madrid outperformed them. Finally, Real Madrid managed to beat City at their home ground.
Haaland traditionally plays poorly against strong teams, and although he had several good opportunities, he was unable to score. Real Madrid's defenders did not give him space for this, they understand that he cannot be left, so it is more difficult for him. It's not just Haaland, City's attack as a whole was not so effective, Ancelotti found a way to stop Guardiola, but in any case it came to penalties and then luck was on Real's side, it seems that Real are moving towards increasing their record in winning the Champions League Cup. I don’t think that Bayern in the form, that alow them beating Real.
It's not that Halland is playing badly, but his ability to score goals after injury has decreased, especially against a team that is very strong mentally and has a position in the Champions League, Real Madrid is very strong in defense, especially Rudriger is very strong in the bottom row and Lunin is at the heart of Real Madrid's defense. sturdy.

It's not luck that Real Madrid won against City, but it's a matter of mentality and position, Ancelotti's team is very ready to face Pep Guardiolla's tiki taka. Real Madrid's fight is not luck.

I don't think Munich is a strong opponent for Real Madrid. At the moment, Munich does have the ability, but this year I think Real Madrid will make Champions League history for the 15th time.

The reason why Bayern Munich has removed their focus on the Bundesliga was because they have seen that no matter how hard they tried it can never equate Bayern Leverkusen points over them so immediately they saw that there was no chance for them they had to put their energy on this champions league and from their performance so far is actually working for them because it seems that the energy they have on this champions league is more encouraging than their performance on the Bundesliga. However it is expected that Bayern Munich will most likely win Arsenal because sometimes champions league is game of experience and Arsenal has not really gotten much experience compare to Bayern Munich on champions league matches.
We don't talk about the points anymore, how much is the difference and it doesn't matter anymore because Bayer Leverkusen already has the status of winning the Bundesliga trophy.
Bayern must focus on the Champions League to face Real Madrid in the semifinals in order to enter the final round in London.

I regret that Arsenal was not able to get away with the potential players they have. Maybe Arsenal needs players who are experienced and have a winning mentality at European level. Next season will probably be their proving season in the Champions League.

I don't know where to start, it was a very exciting match between the attacking and defending teams, but everything had to be decided until the penalty shootout. Manchester City, who were so dominant throughout the 90 minutes, never stopped attacking Real Madrid's defense, which was so strong that they also had great difficulty finishing the match in the proper time. Meanwhile, Real Madrid, who were unable to keep up with the ball possession game due to the tight pressure from Manchester City, chose to defend until the penalty shootout arrived.

I don't think there is such a thing as luck or anything like that, what is important in a big competition like the Champions League is a winning mentality that a team has and Real Madrid still has that for generations. This was a final that came too quickly and we have already watched it, this was the best match so far in my opinion where neither team wanted to give up. Anyway, congratulations to Real Madrid who will face Bayern Munich in the semifinals and these two teams also have their own history in the Champions League.

Where we have to start this talking?

First what a magic team is Real Madrid in Champions League, no matter what they do how they play they always pass to the next round, is something magic and incredible.
Haaland, my boy, you need to start to score goals in important matches if you want to become a historic player, if not you are only gonna be a good stryker.

And for last, Arsenal..... i dont know what to think about you guys, i said it beforea after the lsoe against Aston Villa, they are gonna lose also against Bayern Munich and that happen, they lost their mind.

Bayern Munich have forgotten about the Bundesliga and are focusing on the Champions League so that their concentration against Arsenal can be full.
Correct. Arsenal's elimination from the Champions League makes us love the young players in the Gunners squad. But Bayern Munich is targeting qualifying to cover up their bad results in the Bundesliga even though in the semifinals they will face Real Madrid with their big name as the winner of the most trophies.

Real Madrid is clearly a strong team that can knock Bayern out if Bayern still doesn't come out of the form they showed in the Bundesliga and in yesterday's match against Arsenal.
Bayern must improve their performance again against Real Madrid.

Many say Man City will qualify especially this match at home, I think mentally is the strongest where Real Madrid has everything for the UCL game, when it is superior and finally Man City is able to pay the position but Real Madrid's game is not so dominant but YES penalties are their best way to qualify.

The next Real Madrid vs Bayer Munich match is going to be very interesting

I feel Real Madrid will eliminate Bayern Munich, the scenario is the final between PSG vs Real Madrid.

Despite Bayern Munich lackluster performance in the Bundesliga League this season, they still managed to send Arsenal crashing out from the Uefa Champions League. It was quite a pity to see Arsenal failing to reach the semi finals of Uefa Champions League this season as I felt the current squad of young players playing in Arsenal does have a lot of potential to create some great result with their efforts. Hopefully Arsenal will be able to reach greater heights in the Uefa Champions League next season.

This season, Haaland is not that good at scoring goals, so I was not surprised by his performance against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. Real Madrid's defense was so solid that they were able to make Haaland not score a goal in both Real Madrid's home and Manchester City's home. Even in the Premier League this season, Haaland is struggling to score many goals for Manchester City like he did for them last season in all competitions.
In fact, it is not appropriate to say that Haaland is not good at scoring goals this season in any competition, because it also really depends on Haaland himself supplying the ball from the middle and also from the edge. It will always be difficult for a striker to score more goals if there are no players who pass the ball better to him in every match so it is not appropriate to say that Haaland is not good at scoring goals because it requires good cooperation within each team.
It is even more frightening for the enemy defense to see Haaland's figure in the front sector which requires several players to really guard themselves so as not to score a goal in the several matches that Haaland plays, so it is very clear that Haaland is really turned off and continues to be observed by the enemy defenders. That's why Haaland has recently found it very difficult to score goals in several important matches, not just in the Premier League, in the Champions League, Haaland has also had great difficulty getting mature passes from his teammates, which has enabled him to score goals, but until now. .
Haaland lost form after he came back from injury, and after that he finds it very difficult to find the back of the net, even sometimes when he should score the goal. He has missed some heap goals which based on his goal scoring skills, he should be able to score such goals. He had a good chance yesterday with a header but he messed it up. Anyway, I would not put blames on any of the players because they played impressively. It is just that one of them must go home, and City met with their fate.
Haaland has not yet lost his form caused by he was still able performing quite better when it was against mid table team or low tier team. The main problam if so many big teams have been knowing about how to prevent haaland from guarding him alone with several players. It's create difficulties for him who was always playing upfront alone.

Pep was very often in using these strategies.

4-1-4-1

4-2-3-1

Pep was rarely using the strategy like 4-3-3 or puts more than 1 player at upfront.

U knwo that if pep was willing to maximize haaland's physic since he has a very strong physic but it's really monoton strategies by pep. Pep must also explorer strategy that may put additional forward to the upfront in helping haaland.

Haaland is indeed a goal scoring specialist, but if his movements are limited by the opponent, he still won't be able to do more. During the match against Madrid, Haaland actually never scored a single goal if I'm not mistaken. And in my opinion, Haaland still depends on the ball supply from his teammates, so if it's not strange when he doesn't get a pass, his role is not visible at all for more than 90 minutes. There were several opportunities, but because they did not result in goals, they were considered insignificant in the end. Manchester City doesn't need to feel embarrassed about this defeat because they controlled the game from the start, but once again the essence of a match is the final result. No matter how good you are at controlling the ball, keep attacking, but if you lose, you still lose, meaning the opponent you are facing has a warrior mentality. Ancelotti realized that his defense line in the 1st leg was very weak, so in the 2nd leg he implemented a defensive system using only counter attacks and letting Man City control the ball completely, it was all part of Ancelotti tactics.
