I have been watching football since early 1990's and I can tell you that this was one of the most fun I had watching a game without a doubt. Not because the game had something amazing, like not the Dortmund game we saw just the other day, its not really about that at all. Its about the fact that both teams locked each other like insane, City attacked, but they didn't really attack, they passed, and real Madrid defended, and not really pressured, just let City do what they want and in return it took so much. I can't believe the way the game ended, it was amazing. I had the most fun I had in many years, this was one of those games that was super fun. This two team meets every year, its really just them at this point. I bet Real will win the title, because if City won, I would have said the same about them too.
It is obvious that Real Madrid will win the trophy this season, because they have eliminated the club that is a rival to them which is the defending champion. Also today was Real Madrid finals be ause no team will be as tough as City in their next three games.

I will not put any blame on City, because they played with all their strength, and they were a le to equalize the goal scored by Rodrigo, which took the match to the extra time. Manchester city dominated the match but luck was not on their side, as penalty is a game of luck.

Kuddos to Ancelotti and his men for making it to the semifinals again.

HALA MADRID
HALA MADRID, at some point during the PK I could hear my heartbeat after Luka modric missed that first PK, luckily  Manchester missed too. I'm so happy for Madrid, because they've been my major choice for this competition. It has been a terrible night on the English side as arsenal lost to Bayern Munich and here Manchester City losing to Madrid, however Manchester city really tried as the game was so intriguing throughout the 120 minutes of play

90 minutes of normal time came to an end and it looked like it would have to go to extra time given the conditions.
As a Madrid supporter, I didn't like Doku in this match. He only came on but his movement during the 30 minutes he played really changed Manchester City's attacking scheme because indeed with his speed and body strength he succeeded in making a difference to the attack to be more alive on the flank of Manchester City for now.
Even though the goal that was scored was scored by KDB in this match but still Doku's share was very troublesome in terms of the movements made.
Hopefully in extra time Ancelotti will be able to fix and tame Doku just like Haaland who has been tamed by Rudiger throughout the normal 90 minutes.

The substitute that Pep did for bringing in Doku was a good one, because it was when Doku came in to replace Grelish that an error came up which led to City equalizer. The match extending to the extra time shows that both clubs are very tough a d one of them is ready to accept defeat. We will see who will be out of the league in the extra time, because if nobody scores or it still ends in a draw. It means that a penalty shoot out will be the only way to decide the winner.

Arsenal is out of the competition, as they were unable to score any goal to balance the scoreline, while Bayern Munich advance to the semifinals.
Doku was very troublesome and we can't help but acknowledge that but the mentality in the shootout ultimately made the difference in today's match.
Modric missed the first one but Lunin really gave the best performance of the match today with 2 shots saved with great composure.
Apart from some of the other Madrid players I really appreciate what Lunin did in today's match because the 2 brilliant saves he made means that the strongest contender for the championship is now gone and the EPL as a whole is no longer in the Champions League this season.

It was a thrilling match and I like the result. Although my bet failed because I bet multi on Madrid and Arsenal but with Madrid's entry into the semi-finals I don't really hate losing my bet for today Cheesy

Congratulations to Madrid for successfully qualifying for the semi-finals with great difficulty and being able to fight to the last drop of blood, even though they had to be bombarded with repeated attacks from the first half to the second half + extra time, their fighting spirit paid off. I didn't expect that Man City's dominance at home for several seasons without ever losing would now have to swallow a bitter pill. I think Madrid is lucky to have Lunin who has managed to save 2 very significant penalty kicks. Everyone was truly moved and this will be a new history at the Etihad stadium.

match ended on penalties, congratulations to Real Madrid for the victory.
Unfortunately this was supposed to be the final.
The first leg was undoubtedly more beautiful to watch, with more spectacle there are more goals.
Now the winner is clearly the favorite to win the Cup final.

Ancellotti will do it again.

I also feel a little sad about Arsenal's defeat today. But Arsenal have shown that they are a team that is just as strong as Bayern. And this is a good achievement from Arsenal who were able to go far enough to reach the quarter-finals even though they failed to get to the semi-finals. but still Arteta must be appreciated for being able to bring Arsenal this far. Now Arsenal just has to focus more on the Premier League.

Man City and Real Madrid will fight again in extra time. And now 8 minutes have passed in extra time and the score still hasn't changed.
The best team will accumulate three points while victims of defeats are out. Thomas Tuchel was mute and have instructed his team to become formidable against Gunners. The Allianz Arena have been shattered with victory songs as Bayern Munich qualify for semi final. Mikel Arteta is managing an average club which is been controlled by the elite team. Arsenal was in prime form to win Bayern Munich tonight but they messed things up and got eliminated from the UEFA Champions League.
One might imagine how Arteta is holding himself together even if we assume that Arteta is in good shape in all the competitions in the leagues he participates in, first in the Domestic league, the defeat to Aston Vila makes them no longer at the top of the English premier league table and the hope of holding their English league trophy is gone unless Man City loses consistency in 1 match, it is possible for Arsenal, and Arsenal cannot lose again.

Secondly, Hope in the Champion league kin is gone because Tuchel sent him home very sad, the match with a score of 1-0 is more sad than 2-0 and 3-0, so Arteta does not have much hope anymore at this time to win any league, the defeat by Aston Villa makes them, lose himself in today's match against Bayern Munich, and I admit that at the Allianz Stadium it was really rumbling which disturbed the Arsenal squad lack of foresight in a match like that.

I have bad feelings about Man City. Only 5 minutes till the end of overtime. They had plenty of chances but couldn't score a winner.
but still let the game go to a penalty shootout, that gives the other team a massive psychological advantage.
Hope I'm wrong though.
Do you feel Man City to lose?  Grin
Indeed. Man City wasted too many chances, they probably feel frustrated.

Now, we see the penalty kick, 2 Man City players failed to score. I don't know if this is about psychological effect.
However, Real Madrid is a team that has a good luck in Penalty kick. I don't say Real Madrid looks like to win it but they probably have a better chance now.

So congrats to Bayern Munich for getting into the next round of the Champions League with that win today against Arsenal.
Bayern Munich deserves to go to the semi-final round. It is clear that they played better than Arsenal. Bayern Munich really takes the advantage playing at home. Now, it is getting interesting about the chance of Bayern Munich to reach the final round.

Update: Real Madrid wins the penalty kick. It is like what you feel, mate @pawel7777  Wink

we are very close to the end of the round for the big cup.

Bayern is winning and 1-1 between City and Real Madrid.

At this point, extra time for what was supposed to be the final is very likely.

The Bayern Munich vs Arsenal match ended 1-0 at Allianz Arena in favor of Bayern Munich. Arsenal have been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Bayern Munich, even though Bayern Munich is not that good now. Manchester City vs Real Madrid is playing in extra time, and the second set of extra time has ended and the score is still the same. I think the winner in the Manchester City vs Real Madrid match will be decided in the penalty shootout.

So congrats to Bayern Munich for getting into the next round of the Champions League with that win today against Arsenal.
I just have seen the review of the game and looks like they got a lot of chances left to score and only Kimmich made the final Goal.
Lets see who will be facing Bayern Munich next round Real and also Manchester both are hard enemies.

I am saddened by Arsenal's elimination. Arsenal played well in the first half, Bayern Munich played well in the second half and they scored and won.
Bayern Munich will now wait for its opponent to be determined.

M.City - Real Madrid game went to extra time, let's see which team will advance to the semi-finals. I hope Real Madrid wins the game and advances to the semi-finals.
It was a close one for Arsenal, it really was. They gave Bayern Munich and their fans such a show but, one thing I could agree on thigh was the fact that, Bayern was very much deserving of this win. They were the better side from my view point, put Arsenal under so much pressure and what a beautifully worked goal that was from Bayern Munich. Arsenal was clearly caught off guard else, I don’t see how you would let such huge space within your defense, giving Kimmich a lot of room to run in, have that clear view of where to put the ball and he heads it straight in. It shouldn’t have been the case.
White had the last chance to have brought the game to a draw with that quick play from Saka but, he just didn’t come to the right decision. I think he should have taken that in a flash.

Bayern Munich, who took the advantage by drawing the first match away from home, defeated Arsenal at home and won the round.I think they will concentrate here because the league title is gone.Leverkusen has now officially declared its championship and Bayern Munich will not want to close the season without a trophy at least as much as they can.In the match, both teams played at an equal level and therefore we cannot say that both teams gave everything to win.Bayern Munich had the advantage at home and won.

Before they played the first league, they knew that there is no way they can catch up with Leverkusen, they are just showcasing some seriousness so it wouldn't be like they are not doing enough but on Arsenal level, there is no way they were going to visit Bayern Munich and go scot free. The performance that Bayern had in Emirate stadium proves that they were better than Arsenal, playing home was just a ticket bonus to just qualify for the semi final.

I hope the same miracle happen to Manchester City very soon. They visited Real Madrid and got the same points as draw but Madrid has turn stubborn head and difficult to Crack for another goal and I don't want to see this move from extra minute to penalty, you never can tell which player will fumble during the penalty taking.

Real Madrid is still leading Manchester City in the 73 minutes of play at Etihad Stadium, and Real Madrid needs to be solid in their defense if they want to reach the semi-final. Manchester City is dominating this match but fails to score a goal against Real Madrid at Etihad Stadium. If Real Madrid can stop Manchester City from scoring a goal in this dying minute, they will reach the UEFA Champions League semi-final.
Now the Man City vs Real Madrid match has become even more exciting because Man City has also managed to equalize the score at 1-1 thanks to De Bruyne who managed to score a goal in the 76th minute. It turns out it is true that watching the Man City vs Real Madrid match always feels like watching a match. final. Actually, I also want to watch the Bayern vs Arsenal match. but I can't leave this match which was very exciting. But I hope that Real Madrid can also be more aggressive in making attacks and not lose the ball too easily.

Honestly, the match is really tough and very interesting; it is one of the most interesting matches I have had in this Champions League so far for this season. Both teams are really doing well, but it seems that Manchester City is doing better than Real Madrid because they are controlling the pitch. The way both teams are playing really shows that both teams are experienced champions league teams. Both teams are playing with conscious and I think that is why goals are not that much like that of first leg. As for Arsenal, the team really tried their best, but they are not that lucky to score. I knew from the beginning of the quarterfinals that Arsenal would not qualify for the semi-finals due to their lack of Champions League experience.

Bayern Munich picked a ticket for Champions League semifinals after defeating Arsenal by one goal in Germany. The journey of Arteta wasn't successful this month in English Premier League nor in Champions League..
Manchester City and Real Madrid are still playing in the second extra time and unless a late goal, there will be penalties between the two.
I am wondering how lucky is PSG comparing to the others when you see them facing the second level teams if we could describe Barcelona and Dortmund like that comparing to poor Bayern, City and Real Madrid facing each others!

Say bye to Barcelona, the important thing is that PSG really has the chance to enter the final if they can win against Dortmund.
Dortmund played very well against Atletico Madrid, a very entertaining game with many goals too. Dortmund took their goal scoring chances very well and that covered up for the errors they made that gave Atletico the chances to score the two goals. If PSG will be able to defend well and attack well too, they will be able to make it to the champions league finals.
Dortmund's victory over Atletico Madrid took them to the semi-finals. and finally met PSG. This time, it looks like they have to try even harder, because in my opinion, PSG is much stronger than Atletico Madrid. So, Dortmund will be under much more pressure. It's possible that in the end PSG will advance to the final if we consider Dortmund's strength this time.

Now the second half of extra time has started again. But I have a feeling that everything will be resolved in a penalty shootout.
This is really like watching the final match, right? Currently, competition is still very tight. It looks like there might be a penalty shootout. But surely every club will hope they can score a goal before the final whistle blows. This is a very tight match between Man City and Real Madrid. Whoever wins, they really deserve that. And maybe you really deserve to win the UCL this season. Hahhh this really makes me nervous.

So far, they're the better side tonight, so far they have opened Real Madrid left right and middle and have finally secured a goal to level the score by Kevin De Bruyne.
Real Madrid has just been too defensive for my liking and I have doubts they would be winners of this game tonight I'm watching with my eyes.
I think it's time they bring on experience, maybe Luka Modric and Aurelin Tchouameni to stop all these productivity from Manchester City in the midfied.

Pep Guardiola has also made a good call to bring Jeremy Doku on, because Jack Grealish had been average, not just in this game but the entire season.
As for the goal scored I will put blames on Jude Bellingham. In between, I love the role given to Akanji tonight and he has done brilliantly.
Madrid knew that if they were too open offensively they would lose the game because Manchester City's midfielders always gave the ball away to the wings and Doku's inclusion 30 minutes before the end of the game was a brilliant move on Pep's part because we know that Doku is a very quick player and with Madrid's players tired that could be put to good use by him and it was evident that when he came on he always managed to ruffle Madrid's defence.

It looks like this will continue and Madrid will be looking for a penalty shootout in this game as Ancelotti's current plan of replacing Vini and Rodrygo with Brahim and Vasquez is a code that they will stay in midfield and look for a draw at the end but the problem with penalties is that they can be unpredictable at the moment as anyone can win.

Manchester City and Real Madrid games are getting tougher, which has already ended and will definitely become a penalty shootout, which we have to still watch and see who among them will win the quarterfinal, but for Arsenal, my hope is already gone because I have high hopes for Arsenal to go to the finals. If possible, they should go with the trophy, but they didn't even make it to the semifinal, which is very painful, but still, they will play their best in the next season because I still have hope in them even with the loss. What I will say is, let's just keep our eyes on Real Madrid and Manchester City to see who among them will make it to the semi-finals. so that we can see and determine who will go to the final.
The first half of extra time has ended but this has not changed the current score which is still the same, namely 1-1. And it seems that in the second half of extra time the same result could indeed occur. And a penalty shootout seems unavoidable if it continues like now.

About Arsenal I also have big hopes for them next season. For this season I am a little disappointed with them but I still respect Arsenal who have fought well. Even Bayern were not able to score many goals against Arsenal, which shows how strong Arsenal's defense is. And maybe next season Arsenal can be even better.

Now the second half of extra time has started again. But I have a feeling that everything will be resolved in a penalty shootout.
