HALA MADRID, at some point during the PK I could hear my heartbeat after Luka modric missed that first PK, luckily  Manchester missed too. I'm so happy for Madrid, because they've been my major choice for this competition. It has been a terrible night on the English side as arsenal lost to Bayern Munich and here Manchester City losing to Madrid, however Manchester city really tried as the game was so intriguing throughout the 120 minutes of play

HALA MADRID.....
Hala Madrid indeed because they have proven to be a strong contestant for the Champions League matches. Do we know whether they will become the champions of the Champions League this season as they won against the former champions(Manchester City) in a penalty shootout(Manchester City 7-8 Real Madrid)

Bayern Munich is the next to face off against Real Madrid in the Champions League match, I believe we are going to come back here to hala Real Madrid the same way we're doing today when we must have learned that they won Bayern Munich

Football is more about experience and luck. Madrid make it to the semifinals as they were able to beat the defending Champions Manchester City through penalties which is a game of luck.
Madrid can win the Champions League again this time because they are the best team in the competition right now.

Arsenal were also eliminated by Bayern, this means that all the remaining two England teams are going back home. The remaining semi finalists are Dortmund, PSG, Madrid, and Bayern.
I think Madrid can win all these teams.

After seeing the final result of the quarter -finals, I will not mention that one of them is the best team because we really don't know who will win and how the scenario. Previously, most of us predicted that Manchester City would win this competition but what happened was that they were eliminated in the quarter -finals, now we have 4 teams in the semi -finals and each of them has the ability  Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and PSG have experience then Dortmund has cohesiveness. Based on the schedule, one of the Real Madrid and Munich will be eliminated this means that the opportunity for PSG or Dortmund to go to the final, this is luck for them with an equal opponent.

I can understand why Vinicius said that "Hala Madrid" chant with so much fervour when he went to greet the fans because many of them thought their hard work was going to go down the drain after Luka Modric missed the shot. It's funny that for the whole of 120 mins, it was just two corners the Los Blancos had which was enough proof that Man City were the ones calling the shots at the Etihad and had that confidence that if it ever went to penalties, they will end the game because frankly the both sides had already given their best.
It's safe to say that Madrid have avenged their loss àt the hands of Man City when Pep's men removed the Los Blancos last season during the round of 16, now they( Man City) are the ones being kicked out of the round of 16. I don't even blame Real Madrid for celebrating the way they did as if you didn't know what was happening you'd think they've won the champions league but for me, to remove Man City is not a small feat and that alone is like winning the title.
Real Madrid will come out through for their fans, and they're aiming to reach the UCL final this season. Real Madrid have proven to be the best team in the UEFA Champions League this season though meeting Manchester City was one of the most challenging opponents this season. Manchester City dominated the game fulltime recorded 16 corners but with all these dominating stats, who won? Carlo Ancelotti understands the game style of Pep Guardiola and he resolve weaknesses to work on and they were quite forced.

HALA MADRID!

Erling Haaland? We do not fear! Kevin De Bruyne?  Erling Haaland alongside Jack Grealish was totally useless tonight for Manchester City, though they pressured the fuck outta Real Madrid, but still not enough to make the wins.
Pardon me if I ask you to take KDB out of that list of useless players, he pushed the game into extra time although, he missed such great opportunities too. Opportunities that you would have wished came to him, it did and he sent it flying. Like, it was unbelievable and even still, I don’t wish to see him for a useless player.
Foden might just be the best at goal scoring for Manchester City in recent times but even him too missed a leg at what could have easily created a goal for Manchester City.

Real Madrid got Manchester City just where they would have wanted them, in the penalties. I think they realize me that late on in the game and went ahead to defend deep because, winning Manchester City on the field of play wasn’t looking any more realistic.

I’ve got to note the courage and quality of Ederson though, coming through for that last kick and the way he executed it was just so much for a goalkeeper. Rudiger came for a redemption kick and he did roll Real Madrid into the semi final to face off Bayern Munich.

I so much congratulate Madrid, though when any match enters penalty I consider it as a luck so I will say that Madrid was very lucky to have won in the penalty shootout, I know many people thought that Madrid has lost the game when Luca mudric lost the first penalty for real Madrid though it is normal to think that way considering how critical the game is but in soccer the final whistle determines the end, despite effort that other Madrid penalty shooter made effort to score their own penalty, I somuch value rudiger's penalty because at that point his team winning depends on him scoring that goal, though I wouldnt blame manchester city much because they tried by equalizing the goal, Realmadrid is not a small team, when it comes to experience they possess it so I don't think that any side should be blamed in this match, though penalty has been missed and the side that missed more penalty should improve next time, in the knockout stage one team must win and that was what happened.

Football is luck but if the squad is galant and with strong defend it would be very definitely foe another team to defeat them. Football is all about good team with good coach before you bring in luck. As for me luck is assisted be the players. A weak team c. Only win a strong from distance score and not from a close by shots. And another thing that can also make strong team to lose out is over confidence. When you are playing match, they don't have to over confidence that because the opposition team is a weak one they over look. The weak team will win them flat.
Arsenal disappointed.me today. Bayern Munich surprised me foe well conducted performance against Arsenal. Bayern Munich play well today and the match was interesting. We thank God for their win.

As for Vinicius Junior? Caged yet again by Kyle Walker and it was a great show to see between them. Fabulous Professionals and great respect they had for themselves.
Thrilling game with lots to learn, though Carlo Ancellotti shouldn't be too defensive as this is not the way Madrid does it.

Props to them for getting to this level. The Penalty shoot out gave me the shivers, thanks to the number one for saving those two penalties from Bernado Silva and Kovacic the former Real Madrid midfielder.
What a night, with Rudiger deciding the game very well, he was amongst the squad that won the finals against Manchester City with Chelsea, with them that won the 2021 with Real Madrid and this is yet another great night to remember as he took responsibility.

match ended on penalties, congratulations to Real Madrid for the victory.
Unfortunately this was supposed to be the final.
The first leg was undoubtedly more beautiful to watch, with more spectacle there are more goals.
Now the winner is clearly the favorite to win the Cup final.

Ancellotti will do it again.

Definitely what I am bitter about, this would been a befitting final but maybe the UEFA board didn’t want to take chances just yet and gave us this opportunity to witness the two of the biggest clubs in world football currently. Manchester city we’re definitely at their best today, holding on to possession as they usually do and stretch Madrid out the entire time. They have all the stats to prove that. But people downplay the fact that Madrid had a very strong performance today. I don’t think any team will be able to withstand such pressing pressure from Manchester city for nearly 100 minutes. All the players were wonderful today especially the defenders, I was mostly impressed by Carvajal who I will say didn’t put a foot wrong except that attack from Doku that lead to goal. Sadly he will be missed in the next toe against Bayern Munich which looks to be another epic encounter

Hala Madrid over and over again!

it is their competition they are the kings of the competition having won it 14 times they would always find a way out to victory whenever they get to this stage, and this they have done at the Etihad in England tonight. what a game 120mins of fantastic football.

Gardiola boys actually gave their all into this game but the gods of football says otherwise  else with all the energy put into this match tonight one would have given it all Manchester City right from the second half of possessive play against Madrid.

Congrats to the White Angels, I see no team left from stopping them from lifting this seasons UCL cup.

Manchester City vs Real Madrid was built with tense momentum on the pitch, nobody can predicts the next actions or scorelines because they were kept in mute suspense. Pep Guardiola portray his capacity as headcoach for Manchester City, it took Carlo Ancelotti experience to tackle and absorbed all the pressure from Manchester City at Etihad staidum. All I can say is HALA MADRID as they advance to the semi final of the UEFA Champions League. It'd been a tough day for Real Madrid this season, passing all through the crucial phases this season.

They did it! Real Madrid has officially qualified to the Semi Finals after a suspenseful and lengthy match that ended finally with penalties. Manchester City played better and created more chances as we have seen, but Real Madrid successfully defended their goal and took the match for penalties which was a good choice. The man of the match without any doubts is Lunin, who not only saved his team from many goals during the match but also stopped two penalties at the end, offering Real Madrid spot against Bayern Munich.

Both teams deserved a spot at the finals, but this is football and Real Madrid finally broke the bad luck at Etihad stadium. Now, Manchester City must focus on the Premier League.
In the end, Real Madrid managed to qualify for the semifinals, Ancelotti squad managed to get revenge last season, then Real Madrid will face Bayern Munich. In my opinion, the semifinal round brings together teams with strengths that are not much different from each other, two seeded teams and two non seeded teams. Without ignoring surprises, it seems that this season Champions League trophy will go to Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.

It must be admitted that throughout the match Manchester City appeared to dominate possession of the ball, and they created quite a lot of opportunities and took shots. Real Madrid managed to play more effectively, and Lunin deserved to be awarded man of the match. The determination of semifinal tickets through a penalty shootout indicates that both teams are equally strong. Meanwhile, regarding another match, Arsenal do not yet have a winning mentality, even though previously they were favorites with Arteta squad apparently not being able to overthrow Bayern Munich. This is enough for us to conclude that it is not an easy job to beat Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, even though they are not at their best.

Congratulations to real Madrid for making it through to the semi finals. Though I would have want the result to go the other way around, but it is what it is. Penalty is a game of luck. The day that luck is not on your side you become the victim. It's quite unfortunate that Bernardo and Kovacic missed their penalties tonight. When Modric missed his penalty I thought this was going to be Manchester City night, but out of nowhere Manchester City missed two penalties at a stretch, that was where the turnaround began for real Madrid. I would have preferred Haaland and Kelvin to remain in the pitch and take part in the penalty shootout..

I am saddened by Arsenal's elimination. Arsenal played well in the first half, Bayern Munich played well in the second half and they scored and won.
Bayern Munich will now wait for its opponent to be determined.

M.City - Real Madrid game went to extra time, let's see which team will advance to the semi-finals. I hope Real Madrid wins the game and advances to the semi-finals.
Bayern Munich has done it again; they eliminated Arsenal as they used to do in the past, but this time it’s a tough one for them. They use massive attack and massive defense in the game, and with the couple of Champions League experience they have, they defeated Arsenal 1-0 to qualify to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League 2024 season.

I am not happy with outcome of the match because Arsenal did well but the manager made some decisions that only him knows what for; I expect him to start the match with a striker, but he used Havertz, as it doesn’t work out he is suppose to remove him instead of Jorginho but he left him in the game till the end. It’s sad to hear the out come but that’s football.

This is another big achievement for Bayern Munich, as they advance to semi final of champions league competition this season.  Bayern attacking was very strong Arsenal find it very difficult to break and get in. However, for the Arsenal coach,  I think he did what he thinks will favor them, so, as for me Bayern Munich suppose to win this game because it is very important for them.  so far Arsenal have lose this one again, and I hope Bayern Munich to get the title this season, even though I know Real Madrid have also qualified for the semi final too, but the fact that this is very important for Bayern Munich I think they will do everything they can to get it.

we are very close to the end of the round for the big cup.

Bayern is winning and 1-1 between City and Real Madrid.

At this point, extra time for what was supposed to be the final is very likely.

The Bayern Munich vs Arsenal match ended 1-0 at Allianz Arena in favor of Bayern Munich. Arsenal have been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Bayern Munich, even though Bayern Munich is not that good now. Manchester City vs Real Madrid is playing in extra time, and the second set of extra time has ended and the score is still the same. I think the winner in the Manchester City vs Real Madrid match will be decided in the penalty shootout.

Bayern Munich has done it again after several years of Arsenal facing defeat they still don't make it through even when they are rated one of the best team this season and the worst part is that Bayern Munich are in their worst performance this season which even lead them in losing chances for the Bundesliga title, maybe arsenal will wait for more years to be able to revenge, they still need more super training to win Bayern Munich. Real Madrid really take this revenge and i was impressed with their performance and i have confidence in them that they will continue winning up the game.

Congratulations to Madrid on qualifying for the semi final. @Hhampuz seems you are a very good fan of Madrid? I feel a very big pity for Manchester City having come this long way, they tried a lot but wasn't enough to help them qualify, it's better losing to one of the biggest Champions league club like Madrid than just any other. Should we just award the Champions league title to Madrid or they still need to play Bayern to qualify for the finals and still beat any other team that qualifies for the final 😅.

Congratulations to Real Madrid as they have progressed once again to the semi finals after defeating their current nightmares in the champions league currently Manchester City in a 3:4 penality shootout, I almost tore my jersey when Luka Modric missed the first penalty for Real Madrid but thank goodness for the person of B. Silva and M Kovacic who lost their penalties to give Real Madrid an edge over them. HALA MADRID and hopefully they get to finals and bring the trophy home once again even as La Liga is on the way.
