The first half just ended and it's been a really electrifying first half with all the players from both teams really determined to making sure they create that opportunity for their team to see a chance to make it to the next stage of the champions league as this game is a determinant as to who's going to crash out and who stays till the next stage of the champions league and at such both teams are trying to do only but the best.

Real Madrid is already up by a goal ahead of city, it's been a really tough one but rodrygo was actually able to help Manchester city find the back of the net in the early minutes of the first half and most definitely in games like this taking advantage of every opportunity given is only the best way to making sure to get pass the stage where they are currently. Manchester city may want to make sure to secure the their post from conceding more goals but then if Madrid should use and offensive defense throughout the second half i think this may be the end of the journey for Manchester city because in their first leg they cancelled out their goals so a goal is enough for Madrid to scales through.

I'm looking for to a more electrifying second half with more actions and more of the resilience been exercised amongst both team showing the determination to get to the next stage of the champions league but then it's actually really going to be tough on Manchester city because they will have to score at least two goals to be able to be sure they are not crashing out meanwhile if Madrid gets any goal further, they are sure it's a done deal.

Real Madrid really came prepared on this match because from there attacking force down to their defense line is very strong and the advantage they have on this match is the early goal they scored, so right now in as much as they keep pushing but they seem more relaxed in terms and confident in there performance leaving Manchester City to struggle, they will end the first half with the one goal against Manchester City.

So right now what Real Madrid needs on the second half is to put in all their possible best to either score more or they defend their goal because their qualification depends on the wining, however Manchester City on the other hand really need more encouragement by Pep Guardiola so that when they come back second half their performance will improve more, besides they have more time to do whatever they feel is necessary for them to win the match. Also Bayern Munich and Arsenal is also having a difficult time on their match because they have played the first half without a goal so we will know their faith on the second half.

The first half was tough because Madrid took advantage of the first chance they had in the match through counter attack and take the lead in the 12th minute of the game, which has made Manchester City more serious because they wanted to level the score early so that they can get a winning goal before the end of the match.

Arsenal came prepared likewise Bayern too; they both have some pattern to follow and they are playing their respective patters successfully because they maintain the game in the first half.
Arsenal is in control of the match while Bayern is coming up with dangerous attack, I think Arsenal need to be careful in defending Bayern’s attack to avoid penalty and avoid conceding unnecessary goals because they have tried very well in the match.

There's still more to come for City... Although I like Madrid better and I want them to get to the final, but City had 9 corners in the first half... I think the second half will be very difficult for Madrid and maybe City can win... I wouldn't be surprised if the game ends after extra time...

The first half of the Manchester City - Real Madrid game wasn't good for me at all...    I didn't like what I saw from Manchester City. Real Madrid got what they wanted by an extra goal and started to defend them on the back.

Until now Manchester City have been just struggling to find the chances they would like and Haaland wasted a couple of really important chances. It looks like the curse is still on him in big games...

I have a bet placed on Manchester City win and I thought they would do it in regular time also.    It looks like a really annoying night is right ahead of me. Still I believe anything can happen in even a short time. We all know what happened in the first leg.  

During the first half as a whole, the game was completely controlled by Manchester City and Madrid only relied on counter attacks, which were very rare. Madrid is indeed superior, but if they continue to be unable to balance Manchester City attacks then it would not be surprising if in the second half there was a goal in return from the hosts. Vini and Rodrygo had to leave their positions at the front to help defend. Madrid defense is totally locked down in my opinion and this is very risky.
So in the second half Ancelotti had to be more alert, Grealish and Kevin de Bruyne movements were very dangerous, they really had to be guarded closely. Madrid lead is not completely safe from threats, because Pep Guardiola will definitely prepare a full attack in the first half.

I agree with you that one can't decide which club will win in this tie because both clubs have pulled out a good performance in the UEFA Champions League competition and even overturned their first defeat in the quarter-final to reach the semi-final. I chose PSG to beat Borussia Dortmund because PGS has more experience than Borussia Dortmund, and PSG has knocked out Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League knockout stage before.

Even though Man City is doing the playing now, it seems balanced that Real Madrid is already leading with that early minute goal. There is heavy pressure on Real Madrid now and I expect City to be able to convert some of their chances. If the match continue the way it is going, Man City will surely get a goal. If Madrid must win the match, they just need to stop playing the defensive game they are playing now, come out and score more goal. There is no way they can defend their one goal lead from first half when the entire match is being played around their eighteen yard.

Arsenal and Bayern Munic match is dull and slow unlike their last encounter that was so interesting. The match might enter extra time and eventually penalty if it ends in a draw just like it is looking like.

In the 18th minute, an opportunity for Manchester City through Haaland's heading was thwarted by the crossbar and Bernardo Silva failed to finish his impact ball.
From the start of the match Manchester City had been attacking but instead they conceded early.
Haaland was closely guarded and Foden's role was not visible in the last 30 minutes. In fact, KDB and Grealish are more prominent with the various experiments they have made.

From Real Madrid, Valverde and Kroos performed quite well. Kroos maintains balance. Real Madrid after a 1 goal lead, they only took advantage of the opportunity from a counter attack relying on the speed of Rodrygo and Vini.
That's what I noted from what I witnessed myself.

Real Madrid is enjoying the first half but, I still believe it isn't going to end this way, Manchester City is doing everything to equalize the game before the end of the first half, and which is necessary if they want to win this game because going into the second half game, they won't find it easy with Madrid because of their existing.


For Bayern Munich and Arsenal game, both teams have the same pattern of play and this has made it difficult for goals to come in this side of game, but with the performance so far, Bayern has had a number of opportunities to score but failed.

Currently the matches running for 38", City still have a lot of time to scored another goal. They are at home, City will not made their fans crying. If City failed to scored in the first half, I think City will playing with attacking mode in the second half.

Not much chance for Real Madrid so far, their attacking process not good enough. And mostly can be anticipated by City defender/mid liner.

In the Champion League, even though the team won in the first leg when playing at home but still, in the second leg the opposing team still has the ability to be able to turn things around, for example like the match that happened yesterday about Atletico defeat and also Barcelona. So yes, even though in this second leg Arsenal play away but still, there is no guarantee that Arsenal will lose easily by the Bayern Munich home team. Because anyway, until entering the 40th minute in this first half, the fact that Arsenal can still play well is also based on the statistics available there too. Therefore, Arsenal will still have a chance despite playing away in this second leg, because of course playing in the Champion League will make them have a great effort to keep playing well to get good results too of course.

Man City will not go down without a fight here, I still think they will advance to the semi final. Real have a lot of defending to do if they are to get through.

The other game tonight is very tense, not many chances, nervy game.

Rodrigo made a quick goal for Real Madrid, first attempt was save and he was lucky he didn't leave immediately ND then the second attempt went through for Real Madrid and immediately, Manchester City became super attacking in all the angles but Real Madrid is still defending tightly but I will not lie to you, the pressure Real Madrid is having at Etihad is high, their ball passes is superb and they don't play up ball, this is exact opposite of what Real Madrid is playing.

I don't know why Anceloti didn't attach Rudiger to Haaland but that guy seems very dangerous, he is free today and I haven't seen much support coming to him, Guardiola was smart today to change their ways to penetrate though Real Madrid without doing much work but even then Lunin is doing a great save to keep Real Madrid in the balance. I just hope De Bruyne doesn't spoil their plans so quick.

Arsenal always put much effort to make sure they perform well anytime they fix their match in champion league. Because with the arsenal currently performance in the champion league nothing can stop arsenal from advance to  semi final. Because I see some people's are can count out arsenal that they don't have strong performance that can lead them to semi final, but I think their only making mouth arsenal, since although where saying that they lost to Aston villa in premier league which why so many peoples are making early predict against arsenal. Arsenal match against Bayer is now ongoing which I'm aspecting positive results from them.

I think Bayern Munich have more chances of winning this game. I feel the last game arsenal played against Aston Villa might really affect arsenal from winning the game. But let's see how the game goes if luck can be on their side because anything can happen. But I think Premier league should have been more easy for arsenal than defeating Bayern Munich tonight.  

Even if Arsenal win the game to night I don't think it will be possible for them to defeat Real Madrid or Manchester City in the final. At this point just need the winning mentality as their mindset.

PSG and Borussia Dortmund match will be a very tough one as you’ve said but one cannot say which team will make it to the finals of the competition yet. They both have played impressively well to reach this stage in the competition and I don’t think any of them will have superiority over the other. Just like the quarterfinals matches left us in shock on the teams that made it to this stage, such should be expected from this semifinal clash. After their qualification from this stage to the final, it will be a more tougher one for any side that gets to qualify from here because from the other side, they are more competitive and stronger than this side. I feel this side will get the runner up while the other side we’ll get the winner of the competition.

The Paris St. German side will have their way through to the final game when they face their counterpart in the semifinal game, Dortmund don't really have that equal capacity to face PSG, looking at what happened in the last night game, PSG really had a nice comeback in the game and now will play with their full strength and won't give a chance, they had an incredible performance in the last night game, and that motivational spirited will be repeated in that game.

The match has already kicked off and Manchester city is already losing just in 12 minutes of play as Rodrigo finds the back of the net for his team and puts them ahead of Manchester city, I see a lot of goals coming forth in this game tonight and it looks like Real Madrid is more prepared for this outing that was why they scored so early but they need to be careful so that what happened to Barcelona yesterday will not happen to them too because they are the only Spanish team left in the tournament.

Rodrigo have done it again on the 12th minutes of the game, as he put his team on the lead. I am surprised at Real Madrid confidence tonight, as they are coming out to attack. Unlike the first leg that they were a little bit defensive.

As they are attacking, it is giving them more advantage to spread the ball round the field. Manchester city will definitely equalize the goal, and I hope to see Foden net the post. Manchester city just missed a free goal by Sylva.
