I just felt that Barcelona would fall short against PSG since, in the first leg, they were caught off guard, and I know that PSG won't do it again. Therefore, I had complete faith in PSG yesterday, and they delivered in fact, Mbappe's performance altered. I was amazed, and I'm sure that guy is talented. and really committed, therefore whatever we do for dictation matters greatly. And the record affected the performance of of Barcelona yesterday
Even without the red card they would have won because psg was ready. Arsenal is ready to take on bayern Munich. Let's see if Arsenal will be able to win Bayern Munich. If Arsenal does not win this second league then Arsenal does not deserve to be on any of this leagues.

Well i think we are gonna see PSG again in a Champions League final,it is what it is. Dortmund cant have any chances against PSG and the draw clearly helps PSG this season.

What a mess was the yesterday game between Atletico and Dortmund, both teams were horrible in defensives play, and also both teams miss a lot of opportunities.
Yep, this might be a chance for PSG to win Champions League because Dortmund isn't that strong. Even though able to beat Atletico Madrid, but Atletico Madrid is just a mediocre team in this season. Although the final match would be either Real Madrid or Manchester City i.e. toughest opponent, but any teams that can enter to final already have a mentality to win.

Both Atletico Madrid and Dortmund want to score as many as possible, that's why their take risk to sacrifice their defense lines.

Barcelona will likely stay unbeaten at home in the second leg. Hopefully, they'll take the lead in the first half, but PSG might close the gap with a Kylian Mbappe stunner. There will be plenty of goals, but Barcelona will win the second leg that's all. Mbappe struggled against Barcelona's defense, and they'll aim to contain him again tonight. Enrique has coached Barcelona before, but that won't change anything today. However, there are a lot of uncertainties ahead for sure.
Not as expected, right?
Barcelona had to give up in such a painful situation. How could it not be, having taken the lead through Raphinha in the 12th minute, Barcelona was forced to lose. Mbappe is a player who has created nightmares for Barcelona because he failed three times in a row to go further in the Champions League. I thought when Raphinha scored a goal, that Barcelona would make PSG again unable to do much in the Champions League as long as I fell in love with football.

What do you think about the two matches between Bayern Munich vs Arsenal and Manchester City vs Real Madrid.
Both of them drew in the 1st leg, is it possible they will draw again?

Barcelona and Atletico have failed. There is only 1 Spanish club left. But I also doubt they can win easily at Man City's Etihad Stadium. But if we study at PSG, they should be able to emulate him. But statistically comparing Barcelona and Man City it's very far. Actually, I support Madrid, but this condition makes me only have 50% confidence that Real Madrid can qualify for the semi-finals. The result of the first leg also explained that Man City are very strong and they will be even crazier if they play at home. I think I have to hope for miracles and luck, Madrid didn't make many mistakes.

Playing with ten players against PSG was disastrous for Barcelona. The red card is the key that broke Barcelona's focus and it was working caused by mbappe has none who guard him and cubarsi is nothing in this game, he needs to learn a lot. Many people have discussed this, and the referee's decision was completely correct in that since it was PSG's last player and araujo was doing something bad for the club, he has successfully made its opponents get very big advantage caused by barcelona must have plaed with 10 players only. PSG got so many opportunities to score.
Barcelona deserves it, and it's still unclear whether Xavi will stay or leave the club. Xavi is a terrible coach because he is inconsistent with his statements. It appeared to me that failure in UCL would also push him to leave the club.
Come on, xavi! The better if you leave the club and join a good club that can provide good financial opportunities, such as Newcastle. I strongly believe Xavi will join the EPL in the coming season. Laporta may be having difficulty finding a new coach willing to take on such high pressure.
Barcelona loses in the UCL, which means that the opportunity to raise additional funds to assist the club's finances has already passed.

The hopes of Barcelona going through to the semis were very high especially after defeating psg at France over a week ago. It was so high such that the Barca fans were prepared with their fireworks at the Camp Nou before the game even started. The result was a big shocker to the whole world and now this is why this is the UCL as you are sure to see surprises spring up.

The red card spoilt the game for Barca as you can tell, the team didn’t expect to have a red card and as such that event totally disrupted their gameplay and you can see how they struggled. It got to a point their head coach couldn’t control it and he too was shown a red card and then you can understand that the team has lost it totally and I think this is a situation clubs should take a cue from, I mean always plan for a red card happening.

The red card made them short of a man in the defense line and as such, you can understand how the team will struggle to keep up with the resilient attack of PSG whom have a speedy Mbappe and Dembele. For Xavi wanting to leave, I don’t think this should be a big opportunity for him to leave, because he was able to control the game though and I know had it been not for the red card, he would have gotten this team to the semis and we wouldn’t speculate.

Well for the speculations, going to a team like Newcastle wouldn’t be a bad idea because he’s sound to an extent tactically and with the club being financially buoyant, he can be able to make some signings to help spring up his idea. If Xavi leaves then I think the board will have to think fast on how to source for funds to be able to get a new coach especially now they’re in a financial downtime.

The red card that Araújo received was a bit controversial and the referee seemed excessive by immediately issuing a red card, at least a yellow card was still normal,
That's what I though initially. It looked like a normal foul and it was just outside the penalty box but there's another rule that made it a red card. Barcola had a clear goal-scoring opportunity but was denied by Araújo's light contact. If it happened in the middle of the pitch and there are many players behind him then it would likely be just an ordinary foul with no card.
Araujo was the last man standing, and Barcola has already beaten him on his way to finish the ball, that was when he was brought down, which makes it a red card because there was a contact. I would have said that the referee was favoring PSG, but the match was not played in France. This is why I will say there was no partiality in the referee's decision. It was just a bad day for Barcelona, and that was why they were unlucky to qualify for the semifinals, which everyone knows that Barcelona is stronger and will win PSG, but it was not so.

The caution and discipline in the first leg were not maintained by them, and Barca did not play well in this match, especially in defense. The red card might the turning point of the match, but Barca can only blame themselves. Because after Araujo's red card, Inigo Martinez came on to replace Yamal, limiting the home team's ability to counterattack and allowing PSG to comfortably press forward.

In the midst of a difficult context and under great psychological pressure, Xavi and Barca's steering committee could not keep calm, leading to the situation getting worse and worse for them.
The reason behind Xavi replacing Yamal with Inigo was to improve the back line but it also had an impact on the attack becoming increasingly dull. It is difficult to overcome a position that has lost more than 1 player. Playing with 10 teams against 11 teams clearly has an advantage for the opponent. Xavi was a little confused. Even though Yamal was young, he was able to move freely. Once again, this defeat was still a bitter reality that left a deep impression and would last a long time. All the struggles are over for Xavi and there is no final trophy that he can present, so this will further strengthen Xavi desire to immediately leave his position as coach of Barcelona.

The most surprising thing to see was Dortmund's huge victory and eliminating Atletico Madrid in even regular time. Just how did they do it by 4-2?  Shocked  Despite Atletico Madrid's comeback to 2-2 Dortmund somehow finished the job in regular time... Dortmund did what Inter couldn't, they really deserve to be appreciated for this huge win.
Dortmund deserved this victory, even though both sides Atletico Madrid didn't play too badly, but overall Dortmund was on top of everything to lead the match. After Sabitzer goal, the mentality of the Dortmund players became even hotter, because it was the decisive goal for the 5-4 aggregate and made Dortmund emerge victorious.

Bayern's match against Arsenal is no less exciting and Bayern, who is currently in 2nd place in the Bundesliga, will certainly give everything they can to advance to the semifinals, as well as Arsenal who is now in place in the EPL, will definitely give their all. fought as hard as he could to advance to the semifinals but lost. Arsenal against Aston Villa in the EPL certainly makes me doubt whether Arsenal will be able to beat Bayern or not, but I personally predict that Arsenal will win against Bayern and Arsenal will advance to the semifinals. The upcoming match is really exciting and tense.

Arsenal lost at home to Aston Villa and lost important points in the English championship. This may affect the EPL championship race, and also have a negative impact on the mood of the English in today's game against Bayern. In the last 6 Arsenal vs Bayern games, both teams have scored goals. In addition, Munich have always beaten the Gunners in the Champions League play-offs. Therefore, I am inclined to believe that the German team should go further.

Anything can happen in this match... Harry Kane has already said hello to Spurs fans and said he's ready to beat Arsenal today... Just for some reason I'm not so sure about that... The defeat to Villa doesn't say much, it's a top club too... I think Bayern can score, but Arsenal are very strong now and ready to fight...

Of a truth, I actually thought it is over for this psg side as Barcelona took the lead, but a quick turn of events change everything about the match, and into the favour of psg, though the Barcelona fan would be feeling hard done by the red card,  but to me it's deserving because he was the last man, but a big congrats to psg for qualifying for the semi final of the competition.

And as for atletico madrid, I just don't know what transpired behind closed doors that makes them performed so badly yesterday that got them eliminated, because after the first leg, everyone believe that they are going to progress to the next stage of the competition due to their record of having the ability to hold on to their leads, but that wasn't the case yesterday, and they paid for it dearly.
I think Barcelona have lost their way since getting the red card, this is what makes PSG more confident with the advantage of 1 player, they are actually enthusiastic or ambitious to win at Barcelona's home ground. Yes, of course the supporters were very disappointed with the result, I thought Barcelona had shown their best game but fate said otherwise, I saw that PSG was ready technically and their players were on fire in last night's match. I was quite surprised by Dortmund's achievements, Indeed, they are not very superior, but they are confident because they are playing at home, every pass they make remains targeted at their players and their players do not waste the opportunities in front of them.

You're right, the red card was a very important moment for Barcelona. The world's best team was playing well and scored early on, but then they lost focus. When PSG had the chance, they always do, and that one mistake gave them the mental edge. It makes sense that Barca tried to be safe after the red card, but PSG's pressure was crazy. Even though Ter Stegen is the best goalkeeper in the world, he can only do so much. But they fought hard, and that's something to admire. Luck doesn't always work in your favor.

I'll say it: Dortmund surprised us. That's how you win: they really stepped up their game at home. They passed the ball well and took their chances. In football, having the home field is very important, and they showed that a determined team can pull off an upset. They won big.

Bayern Munich - Arsenal. I believe Bayern Munich will eliminate Arsenal by getting a win in regular time. I believe Arsenal missed a big chance by not being able to win at Emirates. I don't feel like they can beat Bayern Munich away. I know Bayern Munich aren't having one of their best seasons but now they are fully focused on the Champions League. I don't think they would lose this chance too.

Still anyone's game really. The chances are estimated almost identically for both teams, with a slight advantage to Bayern:
38% - Bayern to win
27% - extra time
35% - Arsenal to win

as per Google.

And as I said before - Bayern is not doing bad at all this season. If you look at their average points per game (for the league games), they are doing slightly better than the last season, when they had won the league. It's just that this year they got overshadowed by Bayer Leverkusen, who are having their best season in history and might set a record for the most points.

Barcelona lost their Opportunity to PSG resulting from the red card and it's very heart broken because i doubted if Barcelona would have lost this opportunity just like that of not for the red card, after the red card the porosity of Barcelona became very clear to PSG and they were doing just exactly what they wanted without even having much resistance because even the confidence of Barcelona did dropped.

I'm not sure whether it's necessary to give a red card or not. In my opinion, the offense should have been sufficient for a yellow card. However, our assessment with the referee is different. At first I was sure Barcelona would qualify, because Barca had led the match with 1 goal, but after the red card received by Barcelona players, there was an imbalance from line to line, and made some room for PSG player to open positions for attacking, also PSG was able to maximize these conditions very well. Mbappe managed to score a good closing goal for this matches in the last minute of the second half.

UEFA have released the ticket prices for the Champions League final this season at Wembley.
£2,900 for the most expensive 'Prime Seats'.

Source: https://x.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1777726519474848078

OK, is it just me or does anyone else think that the prices of the tickets make me feel like brokie?

I mean of course some people are going to say that it is not that bad. But right now I think watching important football matches in the stadium is definitely a luxury that not everyone can afford. Now of course an argument could be made that we do not need to get the prime seat. we could just get the regular. But I think even then it is a little too much, isn’t it?

I mean people who are going to buy prime seats can afford almost anything in the world. The problem comes from the middle class or the lower class people.

Just a thought.
Only people who are really rich can watch the final match live, for me it's better to watch it on television or on live streaming video Grin even though it's the same price, it's not as expensive as watching it live. It's only natural that the price is that expensive because those watching the final are not only Europeans but people from all over the world can watch the match if they can afford the tickets.

There's no need to worry or think about it, basically there are a lot of spectators and fans of the European league and many people are willing to dig deep into their pockets just to watch their favorite club perform and become the winner. Even if I had a lot of money, I would prefer to watch the match live because my love for European football.

It is a pity that Real and Manchester City will not play in the final, unfortunately with today will have to say goodbye to one of the teams. I believe in the victory of Manchester City, as the game will be played in England. I think both teams will play very cautiously in the return match and we will not see more than three goals scored.
No just conclude yet, what will happen to Manchester city and Real Madrid in this quarter-final, because many people said things like that to PSG and Athletic Madrid, to be the team that will be lock out based on their first leg performance but they changed the game in the second leg to qualified.

Since Real Madrid no how to play UEFA champions league very well, I guess they will take advantage of that to beat Manchester city 1:2 to lock them out in this second leg because they are good in using home to take victory from their opponent.

There is no way draw game will happen in the two games playing today, Arsenal will use this game to lock out Bayern Munich 2:3 for the favor of Arsenal, and Real Madrid will be favor in their home to Lock out Manchester city, that is my prediction in today games.

PSG will be facing Dortmund in their next round of the champions league of which if they are able to get pass Dortmund they can be sure to make it to the finals and ofcourse it will gradually looking like a dream come through coming even more closer than they had envisioned because after Barcelona defeated them at home it was then looking like they may not be able to get the opportunity to get to the semi finals again but now I'm sure their confidence will be very high at this point already as they will be very prepared and ready to face every team they will be meeting after now.

Manchester city will hope to beat Madrid but then that's actually going to be a really tough game but then if we are to think about it, any of them that eventually wins may likely get to meet PSG or Dortmund in the final stage but most likely it will be PSG and the speculations of having two Spanish team at the finals isn't going to be a reality but it would have actually been really interesting having an El clasico meet up in the UCL finals.

We are going to continue this great Champions League week by tonight's games and finish the quarter final matchups finally.  Smiley

Manchester City - Real Madrid. This is the main event of the night in my opinion. Most people would love to watch this one instead.  Grin  We watched an amazing game in the first leg. Ancelotti adopted a really smart strategy and didn't lose. However at Etihad I feel like Manchester City will win and it will happen in regular time too. They are playing much more different home and I don't think Real Madrid will surprise us as an underdog according to the odds.

Currently, in the quarter-finals at UCL we have seen two teams enter the semi-finals, PSG and Dortmund. The game was really interesting with two strong teams defeating good teams like Atlético Madrid and Barcelona to enter the semi-finals of the Champions League. Currently, we have seen two teams enter the semi-finals, one from the France League and the other from the Germany League.

However, today's match is going to be a great match between Manchester United vs Real Madrid and Bayern Munich vs Arsenal. Although in today's match I think Real Madrid, Manchester City will try hard enough to win at home, but it might not succeed. On the other hand, Arsenal will try to win at the home ground of Bayern Munich, but it may not be possible to win. That's why in today's match, Bayern Munich can qualify for the Champions League semi-finals, while Manchester City can enter the semi-finals.

Barcelona was eliminated, Atletico Madrid was eliminated, is it Real Madrid's turn? Dortmund played the most amazing game of this year. Atletico could do nothing but defend desperately. It was a deserved victory and a deserved victory. The Germans do this job great. If Bayern eliminates Arsenal, there may be two German finals.
Yes that's right. Now two Sanyol representatives have been eliminated from the UCL League, only Real Madrid remains. You could say that Real Madrid is the only hope for the Spanish representatives to stay in the UCL League. So I think Real Madrid will use all its strength against Man City later, even though it is very difficult for Real Madrid to win at home to Man City, but I am sure that Real Madrid will make history again.

The Barcelona vs PSG match is like PSG's perfect revenge. In 2016-2017, Barcelona got rid of PSG controversially because there was no VAR when Neymar was seen diving. The difference is, at that time Luis Enrique was still Barcelona coach and is currently at PSG. But now PSG is purely beating Barcelona without a referee, that's karma for Barcelona. Interestingly, PSG and Dortmund had already qualified for the semifinals, were both in the Hell group and finally met again in the semifinals.
