The red card will change the course of the Barcelona match. I was thinking that this match could be 2-2 but the red card will be a bit of a problem.
That was a silly tackle from Aurojo and and the worst part is that it was early, taking a red card in games like this is should be avoided at all cost but i don’t know what Aurojo was thinking to tackle like that as a last man standing  and now the team is suffering from his mistake. They have now conceded 3 at their home making it 4-5 on aggregate. It now seem like Barcelona are definitely going to be eliminated, Mbappe just converted from the spot kick after another reckless tackle by Cancelo in the yard box. There is still time for Barcelona to redeem themselves so i still expect a competitive game until the final whistle.
So true. Araujo's tackle was ridiculous, he forgot that he was the last player, he forgot that Goalkeeper Stagen had a chance to save or secure the ball. He also forgot that Barcelona's position before getting the card, Barcelona was still 2 goals ahead. Araujo has to play IQ football. Barcelona's defeat was of course the first factor due to a lack of players after Aurojo received a red card.

But overall I also want to blame Xavi rather than Araujo for Barcelona's defeat in the second leg. Because he (Xavi) also does things that are more ridiculous than Araujo, for me he is a coach who cannot control his own emotions, he already knows his team is playing with 10 players and continues to be attacked by PSG players but instead he does the same thing. ridiculous so he got a red card and in the end had to leave his own team on the field. Even before he got the red card, Barcelona had not lost because the aggregate was still 2-2.

La Liga teams not doing too well, both Atletico and Barcelona now out. Only Real remain and they face a huge task to make the semi final away at Man City tomorrow.
You're right. 2 La Liga teams have been eliminated with surprising results today. They won in Leg 1, but they are defeated with big scores today. They failed to defend their leading in Leg 1, they may be just unlucky. Barcelona is clear very unlucky, they are defeated because a read card got by Araujo in minute 29'. If this never happened, I think Barcelona must play in the next round.

Barcelona made a big mistake by going defensive after the red card, that was were the mistake started. And Barcelona is not a team that's very good with defending. Their tactical switch to defense spoilt their game plan. The red card was too hash, but it was the fault of the Barcelona defender who pulled the PSG player down.
No, I don't think so. Barcelona is trying to play with the same way, Xavi only changed some players to deal with losing 1 defender. There was nothing wrong with the decision made by Xavi. But Luis Enrique knows well Barcelona game, he ordered his players to focus more on attacking. Unfortunately, losing 1 player made it very difficult for Barcelona. That condition made Barcelona players panic and no idea to avoid the conceded goals.

Whatever happened in the second leg today was a super surprise in my opinion. Barcelona and Atletico Madrid both failed to maintain their lead and they both failed to win the match and both failed to qualify for the semi-finals. I really didn't expect all this to happen, this clearly does not match what was said the previous day.

Barcelona, who had to play with 10 players from the first half, was completely unable to stop PSG players' attacks throughout the match. PSG utilized this well and in the end PSG really made their dominance clear by coming back and turning things around to 4-6. Atletico Madrid also had to accept the bitter reality, the final aggregate of 5-4 which made Dortmund qualify for the semi-finals. This is ridiculous.

Dortmund are a different Beast today...maybe their home fans have made the difference but so far they look like the team to progress tonight because they have more possession and just looked like the better team as Atletico have been wasteful in the chances they had and they will be punished for it...
Oh shot Atletico just equalized, let's go for the win boys..BvB must pack their bag's!!
It was an interesting match tonight and Dortmund showed a strength I have never seen in them before. How everything turned against the teams that won their first leg is what surprised me. But don't be too excited yet because Dortmund win tonight does not in any way mean they stand a chance at the trophy. Well, time shall tell.

Elsewhere, Barcelona game has taken a twist after Barca was leading the game but PSG turned game around and with the red cards on their book , I don't see them coming back and it's safe to say these boys are packing...comeon team Spain  Tongue
I'm totally overwhelmed with joy for a fantastic match tonight. What a come back! Barcelona did so well from the beginning but seems that their one man down weakened them so much. PSG truly fought like men and their effort was truly rewarded. Assuming Mbappe failed to score tonight, I would have been disappointed but his penalty kicked confirmed his input was visible in the win tonight. By this match, PSG are one step closer to making history this season.

Oh sorry, you thought the party was over but it just began. BVB Dortmund are really the beast tonight and they have been able to eliminate Atletico Madrid tonight with their spectacular performance. The joy, crowd and cheers in their stadium must have add to their courage to be at their best tonight. I wasn’t expecting them to eliminate Atletico Madrid but this is actually the fun of the champions league game, winning the first leg match is not an assurance that you’ve qualified for the next stage of the competition. Congratulations to Dortmund.

Barcelona’s red card really affected their game tonight with PSG. Ever since they were given that red card, they’ve lost possession several times than PSG and PSG have used that as an advantage to pressure them more and won more goals after Barcelona opened the scoring tonight. After the third goal from PSG, I knew it was the end for Barcelona in this year’s journey of the Champions League.
Am glad I didn't have the time to see the matches of today, mostly that of Barcelona versus PSG. Am sure I would have placed my bet on Barca winning, but little did I know that PSG had something up their sleeves in form of more goals than can be equalized.
The red card sure did destabilized the Barca team and when I had the chance to see the last 7' of extra time, I couldn't be more stunned to see the errors they made while in a hurry to counter and score despite playing without a coach.

Barcelona have never been known to lose at home especially in home and away fixtures but with how things are at the moment with them being one man down and PSG gaining confidence after they managed to come from behind to take the lead in the game, can they hold the game down or will this be where they miss out on an opportunity to go the next round?
PSG has just turned the tables around with that penalty awarded them by Dembele and has put a lot of pressure on Barcelona. I wonder what will be the outcome of this game.

And tonight another history has been made as Barcelona has been eliminated from the champions league by PSG and the defeat happened in front of the Barcelona fans, the one man down of Barcelona really affected their performance and PSG made good use of the advantage as they took over the ball control, goal attempts and figame nally Mbappe was able to score the 3rd and 4th goal to send his side PSG to the semi finals which they couldn't achieve when they had Messi, Naymer, Ramos and some other stars in the team. It's over now and Barcelona will have to try again next season cause PSG has succeeded in getting a good victory over them. 1:4 in aggregate.

B. Dortmund - A. Madrid game was a very good game.
I can say that it was the best and most exciting quarter-final game.
It was a really nice evening tonight.
We need to thank both teams.

PSG won differently tonight and advanced to the next round.

Football is really unpredictable sometimes, I'm asking myself is these the same PSG that lost at home to Barcelona, and now they are currently leading Barcelona 3-1 in camp nou, making the aggregate 4-5 in favour of PSG. Though that one man down has really affected Barcelona considering the fact that the way PSG are playing, it's as if they came for a revenge mission, so if Barcelona where complete in their squad maybe it would have been a different ball game. Going by history too in 2017, Barcelona had similar kind of come back against PSG, maybe it is safe to say, this is history repeating itself in a reverse way.

I guess you could call it sweet whole revenge from the french team because I remember when Barcelona did an astonishing come back against the team and made history that day, I guess you can class this as PSG revenge although I think the red card too had a big role to play in the decisive end of the match between the two teams but from the onset though it showed that Barcelona has a leak from the defense in the way they were set up.
It was a bad night for Barcelona, as they took the lead of 4-2 in goal aggregate, but unfortunately for them a red card weaken the team and the whole game turned back to hunt them. I will say why the defense was porous was because the vacuum Araujo left was not filled. He is a defender and made the worst decision that cost them their exit out of the champions league, because they were playing with a big team.

Congratulations to PSG for taking advantage of the scenario that played out on the field to win the game. They took opportunity of every chance that they had. Mbappe was able to score two goals today, and he was very happy for that, because he was able to deliver the club when they needed him most.

PSG increasingly has more opportunities. But Barcelona was lucky because the shooting accuracy of the PSG players was still quite poor. I don't know how many times but PSG players made inaccurate accuracy over and over again. Which makes them always fail to take advantage of the opportunities they have. And this is a good thing for Barcelona.
Oucch..it is a hot shot from Vitinha as he finds the back of the net after a corner kick was awarded to PSG which gave him the opportunity to have a cool pass from Hakimi. I see Barca losing this match, because it was not up to ten minutes that the second half started before PSG was able to balance the scoreline 4-4. I really feel For arca towards this misfortune that wants to fall on them. This was not how people expected the match to go, but who knows if PSG was just too lucky in this match.

It is Barca 2-1 PSG
AGG 4-4
Now PSG is even leading 1-3 in this match thanks to 1 goal scored by Mbappe via a penalty kick. It seems like Barcelona is in an unlucky condition. Their coach Xavi Hernandez even received a red card in this match. Now PSG has the advantage with an aggregate of 4-5. But this will be more interesting if Barcelona scores 1 more goal and makes the aggregate equal again. But Barcelona, which only plays with 10 people, will still have difficulty penetrating PSG's defense. But now Barcelona is actually forced to play more aggressively even with only 10 players. Because they have to catch up.

PSG on the other hand, utilized the opportunity that the red card presented to them. Now they have progressed to the next phase which is the semi finals. It was a remarkable come back from the first leg defeat. Xavi hope of winning the champions league as a Barcelona coach has been shattered.

WHAT A DAY! It was definitely two amazing games to watch. PSG ended up with an easy win, I can see why Barcelona fans are mad about the referee, I wouldn't say that it is unheard of, but to be fair their entire history is based on referees helping them get wins and even cups, so its not like this was unexpected, this is where it turned out eventually. In the other game Dortmund definitely got a win that was totally unexpected, 4-2 wasn't expected and they got the win, that is definitely a great game to watch. I can't believe that these two were the games of the day, I switched back and forth, missed some games even, I hope that other two games would end up being this good too.

Playing 10 against 11 is really not easy to play, indeed this is a rough day for Barcelona, i know quite all right that the game is still on but PSG are currently leading, i was shocked to see the miracle happened in Barcelona home, the two red card issued actually destabilise the entire team despite that Xavi his the coach but they are a lot of contributions that is doing to motivate the players to play well and he was sent off. Worst as happened again because PSG have added one more goal making the aggregate to be 4-6 now and the game is about to end.

You mean lose at home to PSG? If that's what you mean then I beg to differ because if in 2020/2021 Barcelona hosted PSG in the round of 16 and they lose the first leg they play with PSG in Estadi Olympic with 4 goals to 1 and even in the second leg they didn't do well, they draw and were kicked out of the tournament. This time again, I'm very sure they ar going to be kick out because the pressure is down on them trying to avoid another goal from PSG.

There is no way Barcelona would play absence of Yamal and Lewandowski just because he feared they might lose next leg because of the Yellow cards. Less than 3 minutes to go and maybe little additional minutes before the games end.

This game is really working against Barcelona. This referee is very  brutal in decision making, Dembele its not a player to be taken likely, he has proven repeatedly in this match to be the danger man, even more dangerous than Mbappe in this match, he finally got the penalty he was always looking for.

Barcelona have finally woken up and are playing active ball against the defensive pattern they launched earlier and surprisingly the back seems balanced and more enjoyable now. Xavi made the most expensive mistake in this tournament to purpose defensive play from the start. He'll likely be punished for it with exit from champions league.

Barcelona is cruising to victory with little to no resistance from PSG. It is somehow disappointing because many football lovers expected PSG to be able to subdue Barcelona this season because Barcelona have not been playing so perfectly like they use to. PSG have actually made some good attempts but the result is not there to justify such attempt. The aggregate now stand at 4-2 and the match is still being played with equal strength. Now PSG have won a penalty which when converted will bring the hope of PSG back. Under live bets, one can just give this match to PSG if they score their penalty because that goal will change everything.

Oh penalty changed to indirect kick and a red card issued to Ronald Araujo of Barcelona. Let's see how PSG will manage this match.

With the way the match is going I doubt if it will end like their last meeting because I don't think Barcelona will be able to manage their player with short one, actually the red card is truly a setback to them because after the red card was issued to Ronald Araujo it was not long PSG use the opportunity to equalize the goal, Barcelona is lucky to have scored the first goal before the red card if not they would have been losing by a goal now.

Actually the problem they will have on this match is that is too early for the red card because even if they decided to go for a defensive method it will still be very difficult for them because they cannot hold PSG for long, is actually a petty for Barcelona that their plans for today match has taken another dimension, so perhaps if PSG is consistent enough this would have been a great opportunity for them to secure their ticket to the next round, so let's see if their would be changes among the two clubs on the second half.

The red card stands as a fresh start for Barcelona considering the fact that they are playing with one of the most recognized club in the world, despite how inconsistency psg is, you cannot joke with them in a situation like like this, though we can not totally trust psg because they fail to deliver most times,  you made a point, having a red card in the few minutes in a match affect the team thats involved bit the end shall justify our assumption, though psg pushing for quick equalize is a good move thats to say that they really mean business in this match, as it stands now I think psg may win because it look like Barca is disorganised and psg will utilize this chance amd deal with them,it is 1:3 already against Barca and I don't see them scaling through again in this what a poor calculation for Barca but such is football.

With Araujo's red card, he will be difficult to replace if PSG does not advance for the semi-finals this time around, as PSG performed admirably in the first half and I feel they will score more goals in the second. They best defender Araujo will not even play the next match if they are lucky and qualify to the next round of the competition, let see what will happen in the second half who will get the chance and qualify, but psg are the favorites to go next round because they give Araujo a red card, their defense is open and pressuring Barcelona in the box, and Mbappe does not get enough space to shoot in the box is only Dembele that is getting many chances and shoots. with how dembele is performing in the pitch you will think he as Barcelona on is mind before the match start Cool. Barcelona need to put more effort on the second half because if they try to defence the match he will be very hard for them to make it to next round of the competition I believe PSG will likely win the match they have more advantaged now to defeat Barcelona for the second half.
Araujo's red has changed the dimension of this game and made it open for PSG to win the game. The pressure on Barcelona is now too much which has led to the second goal by PSG by Vitinha. Now the aggregate is 4-4 which makes the games more open for both teams. Coach Xavi Hernandez has now gotten a red card which has made the game complicated and the assistant coach has already been booked with a yellow card. Things are still falling apart because Dembele has been fouled which has given PSG a penalty and Kylian Mbappé has converted the penalty, it is clear that Barcelona is going home because they cannot come back with a player down.

Meanwhile, we are seeing another drama in Germany where Athletico Madrid has come back from two goals down to level the score 2-2 If the games ends this way the Diego Simone side will qualify for the semifinals.
