In the round of 16 the teams from Italy were all eliminated. And will the same thing happen to the teams from Laliga in the quarter-finals? Now we just have to see how Real Madrid plays against Man City who are the hosts in today's match. Real Madrid has a tough task. Because Laliga's reputation is also at stake here. Because now only Real Madrid is the only team remaining from Laliga.

I am one of those who hopes Barcelona wins this match. But yes, they failed due to the imbalance of the game. because Barcelona, which was initially superior, apparently had to lose one player due to a red card. And since then the game has belonged to PSG. So it is not surprising that PSG scored a lot of goals against Barcelona. Because Barcelona is quite weak by only playing with 10 players.

It is looking like it. The duel between Barcelona and PSG could have ended differently as I think the early red card against a team like PSG put the game upside down. The whole strategy fell apart for Barcelona and the last thing a team wants is to be a man down against an offensive consisting of Mbappe, Dembele and Barcona. Against a high speed opponent, losing possession of the ball and control over the game is the worst as that it is the best way to keep fast counter attacks under control.

Real Madrid will probably get eliminated unless they have somehow learnt their lesson from last season's game against Manchester City in the Etihad Stadium. I didn't think that it is possible to see two German clubs in the semifinals, but I believe that Bayern Munich has an advantage over Arsenal, since they are playing at home.
Well, the red card that Ronald Araujo received in the 29th minute was truly the turning point in the match. Even though Xavi withdrew Yamal and replaced him with a defender, this still did not strengthen Barcelona's defense. And in the end Xavi changed strategy again when PSG had equalized the aggregate by replacing Cancelo with Felix. But that also failed. Because against a team as strong as PSG with 10 players it is still very difficult.

Real Madrid really have to learn from the mistakes they made in the previous season when facing Man City. And I hope this time Real Madrid can entertain us. Bayern vs Arsenal will indeed be quite a difficult match for Arsenal. but I can't predict these two matches.

Barcelona was eliminated, Atletico Madrid was eliminated, is it Real Madrid's turn? Dortmund played the most amazing game of this year. Atletico could do nothing but defend desperately. It was a deserved victory and a deserved victory. The Germans do this job great. If Bayern eliminates Arsenal, there may be two German finals.
If Real Madrid were eliminated in today's match then it would be a nightmare for the teams from Laliga who all failed. Well I didn't expect Barcelona to lose. Maybe if Barcelona continues to play with 11 players then Barcelona can maintain their lead. But unfortunately they only played with 10 players from the 29th minute. And that was a nightmare for this club.

Laliga's only hope now is Real Madrid. And Real Madrid has the most feared opponent, namely Man City. In fact, I doubt that Real Madrid can succeed in beating Man City. But if PSG can make a surprise, then Real Madrid also has the same opportunity. Moreover, Real Madrid is still evenly matched on aggregate with Man City. So the opportunities are still wide open.
TBH, I actually thought it wasn't a violation when Araujo just tried to block but accidentally brushed his foot against the opponent's leg, but the referee's decision was a wise decision and gave PSG a big chance and after that they could score a bigger score in the away game.
Barcelona could have held a draw in yesterday's match even with only 10 players but Barcelona should have prioritized its defense but I see that Barcelona is still with a big ambition to catch up with the score and ends up often giving PSG empty space in Barcelona defense line.

yep, of course that can happen because every season will bring different luck and surprises and that could happen even though many people believe that an away match will be a big disaster for Real Madrid but we don't know what will happen on the field later and I I still think positively if Real Madrid can still qualify for the semi finals because I think Man City is not as strong as last season.

a little disappointed with the results of Barcelona vs PSG but at least I have made a big profit because in UCL I always try to bet a little bigger than usual.

Barcelona have never been known to lose at home especially in home and away fixtures but with how things are at the moment with them being one man down and PSG gaining confidence after they managed to come from behind to take the lead in the game, can they hold the game down or will this be where they miss out on an opportunity to go the next round?
PSG has just turned the tables around with that penalty awarded them by Dembele and has put a lot of pressure on Barcelona. I wonder what will be the outcome of this game.
Football is really unpredictable sometimes, I'm asking myself is these the same PSG that lost at home to Barcelona, and now they are currently leading Barcelona 3-1 in camp nou, making the aggregate 4-5 in favour of PSG. Though that one man down has really affected Barcelona considering the fact that the way PSG are playing, it's as if they came for a revenge mission, so if Barcelona where complete in their squad maybe it would have been a different ball game. Going by history too in 2017, Barcelona had similar kind of come back against PSG, maybe it is safe to say, this is history repeating itself in a reverse way.

This thing is still finding space to set in my brain because this is too much for Barcelona. seriously, PSG lost against Barcelona at home in their first leg, and this makes everyone think that the same thing will happen if they come to Barcelona home today, which is not what we think. In fact, I was expecting Barcelona to even score more than they did at home when they played there, which didn’t happen that way today. However, the referee was bad in his decision, making me think that there are things that he was doing that make me think somehow.

So this is really bad for Barcelona tonight because they went to their home and won, so definitely they will win today's match again because I was expecting the motivation of being at home to be with them and they will find it easy to win, although PSG came with a high temper about what happened in their home in the first leg, which is why they didn’t take this as a joke; they really dominate this match.
It should not sound so shocking to you because yesterday was a night packed with surprises. The tables really turned around and to be honest I didn't expect that Dortmund would make it to the semi's just as I didn't see PSG going far but I guess the best man won. This semi's will be the fourth time PSG will play Dortmund and this will be an opportunity for either side to do things right where they didn't have the chance to.

It was an unbelievable night... Whenever I think about whether the quarter finals can get more interesting it really happens. I was expecting PSG to have bigger problems but that early red card Araujo got changed the game completely. PSG took this advantage very well and simply destroyed Barcelona. Mbappe was nearly making another hat-trick against Barcelona just as he did in the 2020/2021 season.  Smiley

The most surprising thing to see was Dortmund's huge victory and eliminating Atletico Madrid in even regular time. Just how did they do it by 4-2?  Shocked  Despite Atletico Madrid's comeback to 2-2 Dortmund somehow finished the job in regular time... Dortmund did what Inter couldn't, they really deserve to be appreciated for this huge win.

Spanish teams who in the first leg gets the winning results but today they have to lost with big scores even whether it Barcelona and Atletico Madrid conceded 4 goals each and the predictions is really missed because when most people thought Barcelona and Atletico Madrid will be advances to the next round but apparently they have to eliminated by their opponents dramatically and for Dortmund finally after 11 years they can playing at the semifinal match again and i think from now on we should be considers Dortmund is dark horses in this competitions because previously nobody thought Dortmund can advances to the semifinal

Apparently we cannot deny that Barcelona status in this competition is still mediocre team because they have no champion mentality so after this loses it's clearly Barcelona will ended this season without the trophies and for PSG win at Camp Nou is really hard task especially previously PSG has poor records at there but they can successfully to fliped the situation and beat Barcelona with huge scores i think Luis Enrique is the right manager for PSG because he can make PSG performing fantastic this season at Champion league and for semifinal match PSG will fight against Dortmund and at group stages both teams has been met twice and PSG can gets 1 win and 1 draw from those matches

It's very hard to play with a red card especially when the opposite are hungry and tasty for a win and this is exactly what transpired between this two teams today. Barcelona has been shaking ever since and I was also confused on how they managed to win the first leg but all the same they were totally outwitted by the force that PSG came with. PSG really did well today and even despite the fact that Barcelona were a man down the force was still needed to outplayed Barcelona.
Let's not be sentimental on this, today's winning supposedly to be for Barcelona, the effect of the red card was actually more visible, it spoilt the whole game, I was hoping removing Yamal and bringing on Martinez was going to help the defense from conceiving more goals but it did turned the other way round, the lapses where much and it cost them the game. PSG performance before Barcelona red card isn't enough to qualify them for the next round, they were really lucky Barca was award red card in this game, If they should put up this kind of play against Dortmund then mean they aren't qualifying for the finals.
Lack of quality and red card impact surely hurt the Barcelona with things are surely still manageable, but they fail because their mostly players fail to handle this situation better which was really problem, and then we have another red card which was off the pitch, but this also bring their moral down, and they have no recovery for them with four goals was astounding with last two goals from the Mbappé also have good impact on PSG because now their confidence level will be high, and they will give their best for having their first trophy with Mbappé's ideal farewell as now he is also having his last few days with this club.

Barcelona had a bad day when they lost miserably 1-4 when welcoming PSG home at Nou Camp. Everything was going smoothly for Barcelona, but Ronald Araujo's red card directly reversed everything. The referee's controversial decisions greatly affected the outcome of the match. In addition, the referee also angered Barcelona fans when he awarded PSG a penalty in the second half after a collision between Joao Cancelo and Ousmane Dembele in the penalty area. I'm sure that if Barcelona hadn't lacked players, things could have been different. And I'm really upset when VAR doesn't get involved. The referee made his own decision without consulting VAR. You see that Ronald Araujo received a red card. Is this too harsh a punishment from the referee?

Both Spanish teams have been sent home and disqualified from the quarterfinals of this competition, and while some people may attribute this to luck I strongly disagree on that. In football it’s only about the deserving teams who will always win eventually. As a Barcelona fan who even placed a bet on them today, I am disappointed by their performance. Both the players and the coaching staff were disastrous, and I believe that Araujo's red card was a turning point in the match but it came due and as a result of PSG strength rather than saying luck was beside them. PSG's scored 4 goal and their victory wasn't due to luck at all.

Regarding Xavi, his behavior to receive pointless red cards is a dumb thing which made him leave his team in a hard situation, for me it is irresponsible that’s why Barcelona deserves a better Coach. Similarly with Dortmund’s better performance over Atletico Madrid wasn't a matter of luck either. In this competition, skill and strategy are what matter, we can’t say to the team winning the competition it is luck just because you are not a fan.

There were a lot of surprises in yesterday's match, including the fact that the team that won the first leg lost the second leg. I don't know what to say other than to laugh while watching the game, but the most shocking one was that Barcelona, who is the worst team this season, lost in their own stadium yesterday. Barcelona defeated PSSG in the first leg, which is why many people believe PSSG will never defeat Barcelona again, but everyone was surprised in the end. When Araujo was sent off the field, I knew Barcelona's chances of winning were gone because there was no way they could win the game or maintain a strong defensive position without Araujo.

Barcelona and its supporters are extremely hurt and disappointed in the match because they did not get what they were hoping for. The supporters were ready to humiliate and disparage Dembele should Barcelona defeat PSG in the end, but in the end, they are the ones who are being laughed at and Dembele is named man of the match. What's even more painful is that he scored goals in both the first and second legs of the match. Regarding Atletico and Dortmund, I was not shocked because Atletico Madrid is playing at Dortmund's home stadium and, despite their best efforts, they are unable to defeat Dortmund because of Dortmund's superior home pitch.

On the other hand, the ATM match was also unexpected, Dortmund actually became a nightmare for ATM, who had won in the first leg, but were left unable to move at the opponent home ground. This result brought together PSG and Dortmund to compete for tickets to the final. There is only one Spanish representative remaining, namely Real Madrid, who will visit Manchester City Headquarters today, where in every aspect the home squad is very favored so Madrid will have difficulty coming out as winners. The probability is quite small considering that while playing at Ettihad his history was quite negative.

Athletico deserved the result they got because I don't know what is wrong with Simeone unnecessary defense tactics. They should have learn that this defense tactics can not work in every game. The first leg ended 2-1 in their favor and instead of trying to get more goals to maintain their lead, they decided to pack the bus in an important match. It's unbelievable to see Simeone using defensive approach in this game without realizing that the best way to defend is to attack. Very disappointing to concede two goals in a space of few minutes after all the defending mentality. Dortmund was way better than Athletico. It's a day to remember for Spanish teams losing the game they are leading on aggregate that led to their elimination in the UCL.
Atletico played well enough, but they were unlucky that Borussia played just fine. Sabitzer played one of the main roles in Borussia's victory and it's not clear why Manchester United didn't want him, as well as Sancho.
Atletico didn't give up even after two goals and then managed to come back, and Correa's goal was great, it seemed that he couldn't score, but by some miracle he managed to get down and score. In general Atletico fought to the end, but Borussia were just stronger.
Perhaps if Morata had scored when he went one-on-one with the goalkeeper in the first half, things would have turned out differently, but unfortunately luck was not on Atletico's side.

Overall, we have good change in PSG which was playing aggressive in second half, and they were not allowing Barcelona players to have anything positive which give them good advantage and huge win with the score or 1–4 as mostly were feeling they already lost their spot after losing at the home.

I'm not talking about the club's that will make it to the finals. Let's focus on the present. Barcelona was home and also seen as an advantage to qualify but their outcome turned out to be against them. I think the referee, Istvan Kovacs was been faired towards both sides. Barcelona was leading, not until Araujo was issued a red card for tackling his opponent in the 18 yard box, it's been really a tough moment but the winning team will always prevail no matter what. The former and current Barcelona boss, Luis Enrique saw this epic comeback and grabbed it within his reach.
Luis Enrique is one of those who know the Spanish team best. Of course, this was an advantage for Paris Saint Germain. When Raphael scored the first goal, I thought things were over for PSG, but the changing game balance with a red card enabled PSG to pass the round. PSG advanced to the round and unfortunately Barcelona had to be eliminated with this defeat. In football, sometimes one mistake can destroy the entire team. Just like the red card that is deemed unnecessary.

I admit to underestimating PSG and thinking they would be beaten. This also made my bet lose deep. Next, a big match awaits Arsenal at Bayern Munich headquarters and Madrid will visit Man City headquarters. Of these 2 big matches, it is definitely very difficult to predict even though many people are favoring the home team, but I think I will pass on betting on this match.

I doubted that Barca could defeat PSG in the second leg. Everything seemed too favorable for them when they were leading by 1 goal and playing at home. However, this comfortable mentality has had the opposite effect on them.

The caution and discipline in the first leg were not maintained by them, and Barca did not play well in this match, especially in defense. The red card might the turning point of the match, but Barca can only blame themselves. Because after Araujo's red card, Inigo Martinez came on to replace Yamal, limiting the home team's ability to counterattack and allowing PSG to comfortably press forward.

In the midst of a difficult context and under great psychological pressure, Xavi and Barca's steering committee could not keep calm, leading to the situation getting worse and worse for them.

Barcelona were knocked out of the Champions League, it was bad luck for the team that didn't even try. If the two players of the Barcelona team had not been on the field after receiving red cards, they would have had a chance to win. On the other hand, Atlético Madrid played well in the first match but could not improve their game in the second match due to which they lost the match and were eliminated. But this time it may be Real Madrid's turn because Real Madrid did not win at their home ground against Man City, so Manchester City will not discount Madrid at their home ground. Manchester City may be in the best position this season. However, the game between Bayern Munich and Arsenal may be more exciting, but Manchester City has a good chance of entering the semi-finals. If Bayern Munich can beat Arsenal, two teams from Germany will enter the semi-finals, Dortmund and Bayern Munich, the German teams are much stronger in this Champions League.

Whatever happened in the second leg today was a super surprise in my opinion. Barcelona and Atletico Madrid both failed to maintain their lead and they both failed to win the match and both failed to qualify for the semi-finals. I really didn't expect all this to happen, this clearly does not match what was said the previous day.

Barcelona, who had to play with 10 players from the first half, was completely unable to stop PSG players' attacks throughout the match. PSG utilized this well and in the end PSG really made their dominance clear by coming back and turning things around to 4-6. Atletico Madrid also had to accept the bitter reality, the final aggregate of 5-4 which made Dortmund qualify for the semi-finals. This is ridiculous.

I also didn't expect Atletico Madrid, who won in the 1st leg against Dortmund, to now lose in the 2nd leg to Dortmund because in my opinion Atletico Madrid should have had a stronger mentality during the 2nd leg against Dortmund because even if they played with a draw it would certainly make Atletico Madrid qualified for the semifinals and in their last match in Laliga against Girona Atletico Madrid performed well, beating Girona with a score of 3-1 and I also predicted that in the match against Dortmund Atletico Madrid would win and advance to the semifinals and surely Atletico Madrid fans also didn't expect that. Atletico Madrid will lose to Dortmund.

but yes, Barcelona is also in the same boat as Atletico Madrid, who couldn't win against PSG, of course they didn't expect the hosts to lose to the visiting team. Yes, getting Araujo's red card certainly made Barcelona less strong and their performance decreased even though in fact Barcelona only had a little left to do. can advance to the semifinals because yes, even with a draw, Barcelona will advance to the semifinals.

Yes, many people thought that Barcelona and Atletico Madrid would qualify, but in reality now they lost, but yes, in the world of football, of course you are familiar with situations like this, sometimes the results of matches are always difficult to predict. Now 2 teams from Laliga have failed and we'll see whether Real Madrid will be able to qualify for the semifinals or not.
