Borussia Dortmund scored very early. PSV's job is very difficult now. Jadon Sancho reminded us of the old days. I was sure we would see Borussia Dortmund in the quarter finals. PSV Eindhoven is a good team, but it's difficult for them to compete with Dortmund, there is a difference in strength between them. It was obvious that the score they got in the first match wouldn't be enough for PSV. Now they have to score. I think Dortmund will score the second goal and pass the round.

Dortmund and Inter are currently both 1 goal ahead and they are leading on aggregate. Dortmund performed well at home, while Inter were strong away from home. Inter was able to dominate the match with all the advantages of its players, but that doesn't mean Atletico Madrid deserves to be underestimated at home.

Atletico Madrid is basically not a weak team and is absolutely not worth underestimating. Diego Simeone will give everything in his home match even if Inter are favorites to win this match. Of course, this will be a great match to watch compared to Dortmund vs PSV. I hope I'm not mistaken. Really, I'm looking forward to the best match from Atletico Madrid today in the second leg.

30 minutes ago, Jadon Sancho scored a quick goal for Dortmund to win.
Sancho's place is at Dortmund and not at Manchester United where it is difficult for him to develop. Maybe there Sancho can't be integrated or can't bring luck like at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK because before Erik ten Hag, Sancho also didn't develop with Manchester United coached by Solskjaer.

This 1-0 result will last until the first half is over. PSV could not improve during the first half of the match. Maybe they will try to retaliate or equalize the score in the second half although I can't confirm that.

It was a sad day for Napoli and the club's fans. They conceived two goals in less than three minutes and these goals affected the morale of the Italian side. In the second half Napoli came out very strong and created few chances but Barca did a good defending job. Both teams deserved to win but Barca was just the lucky side. Napoli might start losing some of its key players because they might want to move to clubs that will play in European competitions.  Victor Osimhen, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and others might be on their way out of Napoli.

Napoli was badly affected by Spanish teams this season  Sad
They were in the same group as Real Madrid, and lost the two games they played against the Spanish team, finishing in second place...
then
...failing to finish in first place, they had to face Barcelona in the round of 16.

It was unlucky to fall into the same group as Real and be drawn against Barcelona
All in all, the team isn't at the same level as last year, when they were Italian champions with 90 points, and today they're in 7th place

Some players may be discouraged if there is any interest from bigger, more traditional teams in the UCL, I have to agree with you

The UEFA Champions League match between Dortmund vs PSV team has already started. Dortmund team is leading by 1 goal in the first 3 minutes of the game. If L. de Jong and M. Tillman of PSV team can do well in today's match, Dortmund will win this match.  The team is performing well from the beginning of the game, now it is to be seen what the Dortmund team can do till the end.

Few minutes left for the super big match on UEFA Champion League second legs between Atletico Madrid vs Inter Milan, I am interested with Inter Milan starting line up keep full offensive formation although they leaded one goal on the first leg match.  Simone Inzaghi keep full offensive for facing Atletico Madrid after putting Marcus Thurram and Lutaro Martinez on attacking line, most of regular players will play on the first minutes such as Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Nicolò Barella.

Atletico Madrid keeps want to more offensive for tonight, Antoine Griezmann and Álvaro Morata are the most danger attacking line players for Inter Milan and excited for watching this match will full offensive and both teams has chance for scoring many goals.

Well, you see, Atlético until now in the 17th minute is doing very well, it is attacking, Inter is ahead overall with 1 goal, now in the match the cholo's defense is very tough, very radical, He grabs a ball and throws it to the attack, all the balls are for attacks, they have made more shots on goal, the work of the Inter goalkeeper is really impeccable, I see Inter a little asleep, I don't know if it is because of the pressure they have Atlético, but they are playing very slowly, Inter grabs the ball and it doesn't last long, at once Atlético recovers it, I like this game because Atlético is playing to the death, they are giving everything and if Inter continues like this they can score the goal, because Atlético's forwards are winning all the balls and playing as if they don't get tired, they are all on the attack, the cholo is going for everything, on the other hand side I think that PSV and Dortmund have a good chance of Dortmund passing, we have to wait but so far I like what Atlético is doing, they are insisting a lot, Inter defends itself with its classic Italian defensive system, very confident, I haven't Seeing Lautaro's magic, they didn't let him touch the ball, only one attack that was accurate and two shots on goal where the Atlético goalkeeper blocked them.

Napoli was finally eliminated from the Champions League by Barcelona. Wow, look at how Barcelona handled Napoli like a little team. Napoli are completely weak in this game, Napoli has five shots on goal, while Barcelona has 10 shot on goals. I was totally wrong to even think that Napoli was more stronger than Barcelona, I wasn't expecting Napoli to be eliminated in that way. Even with several of their top players out by injuries, Barcelona defeated Napoli 3:1 at home. Napoli's draw 1-1 in their first leg at home was lucky, since they did not play with much strengths like a team hoping to advance to the next round in second leg. It's may be time for Napoli to concentrate on their league matches.

I don’t think Atletico Madrid is a better than Inter Milan this year. Inter Milan are good defensively and in offense. They have not drawn a single game in 2024. Their squad is looking like a reinforced army of seasoned players. As scary as Atletico Madrid can be, Inter Milan could afford to give them space to attack in the first half, and come back aggressively in the second half. Unless football happens, I doubt Atletico Madrid can win Inter Milan tonight.
Inter Milan is the better side based on the current performance. Atletico Madrid just lost a game against Cadiz which means they are coming into today's game with a low morale. But Deigo Simoene is known to be a smart tactician who knows how to exploit counterattacks if there is any opportunity. Inter Milan has been having a splendid season and they are coming into this game with a win over Bologna. Inter made it to the finals last season and they are in good shape to achieve the same feat this season.

Today's match for Arsenal and Porto actually I think it was quite monotonous because seeing from the game that was done it seemed that both clubs seemed more cautious which actually gave a doubt in terms of attack which made opportunities sometimes wasted.
Quite worrying to watch how Arsenal game against Porto. For, Porto was leading at the first leg.
Until, Arsenals cored a goal, it's 1 - 1 aggregate.
But, it's still not safe. Arsenal must do much pressing again. Porto is  not an easy team to beat. So, Arsenal must do harder and harder.
Actually, Arsenal was quite convincing, but indeed, Porto also put up quite a tough resistance. In this match, Arsenal also did not make many substitutions. It could be that this is because his worst strategy is taking a penalty kick. But yes, the hope is definitely that Arsenal can score another goal and there's no need for a penalty shootout.

The match was ultimately monotonous until the end as the ball was mostly in the midfield and both clubs couldn't capitalize on the chances they had which made the 90 minutes + 30 minutes of extra time a bit tedious but fortunately Arsenal's mentality was better during the penalty shootout which allowed them to secure a spot in the quarter finals this season.
David Raya's calmness in predicting the direction of the ball was worthy of thumbs up in today's match because indeed the 2 saves he made really made the difference and Arsenal could waltz into the last 8 phase this season for the Champions League.

Now 2 matches remain to fulfill the clubs that will compete in the Champions League quarter-finals and I feel that Dortmund and Inter are still very likely to qualify even though in terms of aggregate both are still not too safe but it will be very possible that Dortmund and Inter can advance following 6 other clubs who have already confirmed themselves.

One zero in the first leg game was not actually a sealed game for FC Porto to think of that Arsenal will not have qualified for the next round of the Champions League game, if at all you consider the fact that Arsenal lost 1-0 to FC Porto in their home soil But if you mean base on strength to strength, head-to-head meetings and the category of players present in both teams, I won't still count Arsenal off to not qualify in that game.
I know Porto are never safe with a 0-1 aggregate lead when they travel to the Emirates, but what surprised me was that Arsenal couldn't score more goals at home when they were huge favorites to win the match. Porto managed to force Arsenal to play until the penalty shootout, but I admit that Arsenal deserved to advance to the quarter-finals more than Porto because of their team's performance.

About Barcelona vs Napoli, it was a great match for Barcelona. Xavi successfully brought Barcelona through to the quarter-finals after many people doubted the ability of his team which was limping due to injuries to several of its best midfielders. Pedri and De Jong are injured, which makes their chances of qualifying a little low, but Barcelona was on fire at home and was able to beat Napoli with a score of 3-1.

What's great about Barcelona this season is because Xavi was able to maximize the young players in this match where Pau Cubarsi, Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez were the players who really made a big contribution to their victory. If Pedri, Gavi and Alejandro Balde weren't injured, then I'm sure Xavi would also rely on them in many matches.

Inter Milan is good this season and there is no doubt regarding that. But you have to consider that this is Atlético Madrid that they are playing tonight, Atlético Madrid is an experienced team when it comes to the champions league. If you check what's happening in the Champions league you will observe that almost every team are winning in their home. Atlético Madrid will win tonight game. Although it's a close call there won't be much goal to be in this game, but playing home over 1.5 won't be very bad. As this game can end 2:1 in favour of Atlético Madrid.

I find Inter Milan way better than Atletico Madrid this season and I expect them to win and to qualify for the next round. It is true playing home is in favour of Atletico Madrid but seeing the latest results and performance of each team, I wonder how will Simeone do to overtake Inter. Not obvious in my opinion.
At the opposite, I find Dortmund - PSV Eindhoven match more interesting since both teams are close to each other with slight home advantage for Borussia Dortmund.
Kick off is just around the corner and we'll find out who eventually catches up with the other 6 clubs who have already booked themselves into the quarter finals.
Inter are riding high on confidence but Atletico playing at the Metropolitano cannot be underestimated at the moment.

Looking at the line ups and formations that the two clubs put together in this second leg match, it seems that they still want the midfield to be controlled so that their plans for penetrating attacks go well.
Both clubs have the same formation with 3-5-2 and this will obviously be very interesting because however with 5 players in midfield in both clubs this will make the clash more fierce and who can get the midfield well can be an advantage in terms of attack.
Especially with the current conditions, it seems that with this formation, both clubs want to ensure that the midfield and defense can be a little balanced because placing 5 midfielders will indirectly make the flow of the ball from midfield to attack more directed and their defense can also be well backed up.

I don't even remember when was the last time Inter lost, lol. All jokes aside, ATM definitely has their situation cut out for them, it looks like it could be a trouble and they should be careful about it. I feel like it is going to be a tough deal to handle all of this. I get that it may feel like it is going to be easy, but in most cases it is not that easy at all.
It's not certain that Inter can win even though at the moment we can't remember the last time the Nerazzurri lost.
Atletico will try to win to open up Simeone's hopes. When Atletico Madrid played at home, it was difficult for their opponents to win, especially when they played at Inter, they only lost 1-0.
I probably don't want this match to determine the winner through normal time, instead I want to determine who wins through extra time.

What difference does it make what time the winner is decided. It's probably important to have interesting football, not dry goals at the end of the first or second half and progress to the next round on minimum scores. It seems to me that the game could be just such a game, or at least it will be very difficult for both teams.

Barcelona did what they had to do yesterday, in fact Napoli are not as strong now as they were before, and the odds 1.75 for Barcelona to win were a little confusing. I will even say that Napoli was a little lucky that with just one shot at the goal, they were able to score a goal, and play a draw, thereby avoiding a loss in the home match. But after the first match it was clear that the return match would be much more difficult for them.

Napoli was finally eliminated from the Champions League by Barcelona. Wow, look at how Barcelona handled Napoli like a little team. Hoping that Atletico will be able to turn things around, nothing is impossible, Atletico only needs two goals from the results of the match because that is far enough for Atletico to advance to the next round, plus Atletico will play at home with supporters who will come tonight at least. could be a strength for Atletico Madrid in facing Inter Milan in the second leg.

In this match, Inter Milan remains the superior team while Atletico Madrid has already conceded one goal in the first leg. Since Griezmann is also fit to play, Atletico Madrid may have the advantage of playing at home, which might lead to an easy victory. However, we know how strong Inter Milan has been able to perform this season, I won't be surprise if Atletico Madrid ends up losing today.

I feel like it is going to be a tough deal to handle all of this. I get that it may feel like it is going to be easy, but in most cases it is not that easy at all.

I think it should be something Inter could easily win, they have the team for it and manager for it and the momentum for it. UCL is a bit unpredictable though, so if anything else happens then I wouldn't be shocked about it neither, in this tournament anything could happen so we should be accepting the fact that they may end up losing it out as well, it's natural to have unexpected results.

Atletico Madrid were very ineffective in the first match. Llorente, Griezmann and Morata melted between the Inter defense in the first leg. I have no doubt that they will be better in this match in front of their fans, because they have to be. Inter have had very good results both in the Italian Serie A and in the Champions League. In the first game Arnautovic, who came on in the second half, had many scoring chances and finally scored one. The Ateltico Madrid defense gave too many positions to the Inter attackers. If the same happens in this match, I think Inter will win this game too.

Recently, Atletico Madrid has been experiencing a downturn in their performance, particularly in their domestic league matches. They are struggling to secure victories and are finding it challenging to compete effectively on the field. Tonight, they are set to face Inter Milan, a team that has been enjoying a period of great success and form. Given Atletico Madrid's recent poor form, it seems unlikely that they will be able to muster the necessary strength and strategy to secure a win, even though they will be playing on their home.

Their recent lackluster performances raise doubts about their ability to rise to the occasion and overcome the formidable challenge posed by Inter Milan. As the match approaches, it appears that Inter Milan is the clear favorite to emerge victorious. At best, one can hope for a draw from Atletico Madrid, given their recent struggles and the impressive form displayed by Inter Milan. However, football is known for its unpredictability, and anything can happen on the pitch. Therefore, it remains to be seen how the match will unfold, as surprises are always a possibility in the world of football.

It is unlikely that the ATM versus Inter match will go to extra time or a penalty shootout, I predict that Inter will be able to achieve another narrow victory like in the first leg. ATM is not in its best condition, it is true that Simeone's fleet is quite tough when playing at home, but chasing a goal deficit is not an easy job.

Inter have a solid defensive line, Morata and Griezmann have to work harder to penetrate it, and they themselves have to be prepared to stem the movement of Martinez who is on fire. On paper, even though ATM acts as host, Inter deserves to be at the top, the pressure is on ATM side because they are 1 goal behind.

However, all possibilities are still open, Inter could be eliminated and all predictions will be wrong. Simeone remains optimistic that his fleet can emerge victorious by reversing, even though they are not favorites to advance to the quarter finals. Napoli and Lazio have been eliminated, now Inter is the only Serie A representative remaining, I won't miss the match.

Inter have been consistent so far after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Genoa at the end of last year, and so far Inter hold a record of 13 wins in 13 matches in all competitions. Atletico Madrid tends to be inconsistent with their performance, I mean they are unstable and recently also lost to Cadiz 2-0 in La Liga. So maybe Inter will get through to the quarter-finals without much trouble, but anything is still possible.

I think these two matches will be quite interesting to watch, yeah but the Atletico Madrid vs Inter Milan match will be more tense, because of the fact that Atletico will play hard at home.
The Atletico Madrid vs Inter Milan match will be much more tense because both of them will play more openly to win, while the PSV Eindhoven vs Dortmund match will also be no less interesting. But the Inter Milan match will be the match that will be eagerly awaited.
Definitely Atletico Madrid vs Inter Milan will be the match of the night because both of them are just hunger for victory and should be dominating the game with a strong attack. Both are looking promising and strong, but I think Inter Milan will be going to seal up the victory because they have strong attacking play while on the other side Atlético Madrid can not be less than anyone, they can also make a full response. Because if you observe the previous match of Atlatico Madrid, then it is known that Atlatico Madrid has a strong pressure dominant at home. Like all the matches that have been played, Atlatico Madrid has won, so I guess that Atlatico Madrid also has a strong attack and strong defense, as will be demonstrated. But the older I get, the less I will go for Inter Milan they are stronger than Atlatico.
