The reason why PSV is considered by bookmakers as favorites was because they are a good team while playing at home, and Dortmund is not in good form and it can still happen since PSV has leveled the score line.
I am still thinking of how Dortmund will win the match as a big team; PSV is dominating the game because Dortmund is not in form and they are not making good impact to win the match, if they keep playing like this, they win the match and it will be hard for Dortmund because PSV will be serious just to win the match in the second leg.

You are right, Inter dominated attacks from the first half even though they failed to score. Atletico Madrid haven't had many goal chances so far, but they are very likely to score and take their chances. So far both teams have found it difficult to score goals because their defense is good, so the possibility of a draw seems to be increasing.

The tension in this match is so high that it is still very difficult to get one of the two teams to score. Although i have placed my bet on Dortmund to win but with multiple of goals of 3. So i am still expecting to see more goals, each specifically from both teams.

Actually, the match was quite even between PSV and Dortmund. However, this time, Dortmund was able to take the opportunity to score a goal. Even though this is only 1 goal, this creates greater hope for Dortmund to be even superior. Of course, in this match, Dortmund are the favorites, but this is not guaranteed. Dortmund had to try to be even tighter in the second half so they could at least maintain that lead. PSV remains a club to watch out for if we look at their style of play so far in this match.

The first halves of the matches are over. I don't think there were any surprises. I didn't watch PSV vs Borussia Dortmund, but I watched Inter vs Atletico Madrid. Both teams played a very controlled game in the first half hour. I wasn't surprised since both teams came to the forefront with their defensive plans, but I was bored watching the match. In the last 15 minutes of the first half, Barella joined Thuram and Lautaoro from time to time and the Inter offenses were enriched. They can win this game if they do this more in the second half.

Champions league night and am caught in between watching some kinda not so entertaining games in CL versus watching Manchester City still trying to break down Brentford and it's a boredraw going on at the moment..

But coming back to Champions league football, was watching the PSV- Dortmund game which looks evenly matched, though bookies favourite should have got a goal but they are too playful busy looking for yellow cards but I believe they will come back stronger in the second half.

With the look of things I doubt if there would be goal on this first half because the both team performance is just the same and there strength is equal, however PSV should be on the good side because they are playing from there home so there should also be an advantage, so if perhaps they did not score on this first half there is every chance they will score on the second half but I don't think there would be much goal on this match. However while I was typing Borussia Dortmund has score a goal and perhaps considering how the match is going PSV equalizing the goal will be difficult.

The main job of these teams is crucial winning in matches. Inter Milan are favorite to win Atletico Madrid in the round of 16 first leg. What do they need to have thrilling winning against Los Colchoneros? Inter Milan are home and we already know what that means, don't we? Simeone Inzaghi will not take any solid chances because the side he's facing is also consider very tough when it comes to defensive football, if he loses a game, the goals conceded doesn't reach 3 goals. He did good to maintain that level till this very moment and Inter Milan is big threat for them.

Simone Inzaghi and Diego Simeone seem to have the same strategy in this match. Both adopt the same formation as 3-5-2, meaning they will utilize the midfielder's strengths to dominate the midfield. This formation tends to be adaptive when transitioning from attack to defense, so I think the philosophies of the two coaches are not much different.

A draw is a sensible choice for the first leg, of course there is a reason why it is a draw. The form of the two teams in the Champions League is relatively similar and both are unbeaten in the group stage. I believe both teams will try to win the match and take advantage of the opportunities that exist, but Inter playing at home is considered more deserving of a high probability of victory. The team's performance in the domestic league is a reference, but I think the atmosphere of the Champions League will never be the same as the domestic league.

And in my opinion, if you look at the performance of the two teams in their respective leagues, the match between PSV and Borussia Dortmund is predicted to be fierce and tight in order to qualify for the next round. Considering this is a very important match in this prestigious league and they will definitely show their best performance and squad.
And considering that host PSV performed solidly in the group phase, in my opinion they are a team that should not be underestimated, and PSV's defense is very good which will be an important task for Borussia Dortmund to be able to score goals.
