Well, if Dortmund was able to score only one more, I'd be richer for about a 100k FUN now. I mean PSV ain't bad, but I really expected them to at least hold their ground, and knowing them, knew they'd need at least 2 to successfully take them down

Well at least Inter Milan is a little more comfortable to undergo the next second leg match I mean they will play without burden because they only need a draw to qualify for the next stage, Atletico Madrid is quite successful in applying defensive games because only conceded one goal, even though Inter Milan should be able to score 2 goals based on opportunities and shots. Meanwhile the match between PSV and Dortmund must end in a draw well, this should be an advantage for Dortmund I'm sure Dortmund will secure positions after the second leg. Indeed, Dortmund did not play optimally in the Bundesliga but in the Champions League they could be relied upon.

The match between PSV and Dortmund was extremely difficult tonight since I wasn't expecting Dortmund to get the first goal, but they made a valiant attempt and dominated the first goal in the opening half. Because I know Dortmund isn't very strong, I was hoping PSV will win the match, but I'm not sure if it would end in a draw. PSV was also fortunate in that they attempted to improve their performance in the second half; otherwise, they would not have been able to level. Honestly, Dortmund played the match with a really serene mind; they truly wanted to win against PSV. They attempted to take advantage of PSV's poor performance in first half, that they would be easily defeated, but it was not occur. PSV prevented them from winning the match that's why they put much effort and make the match ended in draw.

Dortmund got a very good result for sure. I meant that if this guy was performing so crazily and i think that it's quite clear that if there are no superior clubs in this game. Dortmund played equally against PSV. The statistic indirectly said that if it's telling us about the truth. Dortmund was not able owning the game and this is also my main reason to call that if PSV can't
be considered as a weak team. Im thinking about all of possibilities that may be happening in this game. This is the same like the result between atletico madrid vs intermilan. As you can see that serie a club has a very strong defensive line. Atletico madrid can't even create a single shoot on target.
Simeone has been putting all of its players to play defensively as always agianst intermilan. The game is becoming even more difficult for intermilan caused by these clubs were playing with 5 midfielders. It was also the situation can't be predicted easily but thanks for amautovic that creates aggregate for atletico madrid.
I do like the way intermilan is playing use the same strategy. I see that atletico find it's very difficult to break it. putting 5 midfielders to keep the mid of team. It can also sometimes becoming a wall that protect the defenders and goal keeper too.
This is good result for dortmund coz the second leg will happen at home. Dortmund will be in advantage.

Inter Milan has successfully to utilized their home match today that they can able to overcomes Atletico Madrid with narrow score although this result still not fully secured but at least Inter Milan can able to gets the winning result from Atletico Madrid and Lautaro Martinez was became an dangerous player for Atletico Madrid because although he didn't scores but his movement is hard to guarded by Atletico Madrid players and during the match Inter Milan has successfully to pressed Atletico Madrid with very well which make Atletico Madrid didn't gets much opportunities to scores

On the other hand i have to says Dortmund performance at champion league is very consistent because they can performing well and in my opinion Dortmund performance is slightly better than PSV because during the match they can able to threaten PSV defensive lines several times and Dortmund even can able to leading the game before De Jong can equalized the score from penalty kick but this result is very favourable for Dortmund because they will playing at their home ground in the second leg and not required win with big scores to advances to the quarterfinal because Dortmund only required win with 1-0 and at their home it is very possible to do so

Inter Milan should win today match because they managed to show their best strength when facing Atletico madrid. Inzaghi is certainly quite satisfied with the results of today's match, because even though they won the match with a narrow score, it means a lot to them for the second leg later. Atletico Madrid defense is quite strong, but when the opponent continues to attack, it will be difficult for Atletico Madrid players to remain under pressure. Inter Milan were runners up last season, of course their mentality is stronger to win the matches they play.

A draw is not very good but when playing away from home it is better for them to accept. In the second leg, Dortmund must play stronger to find victory because that is a good opportunity for them to pursue in the second leg. Several teams have shown their strength in the first leg so my assumption is that dortmund and Inter milan can qualify for the next round.

The UEFA matches tonight was entertaining. I canceled my schedule because I picked interest in one of these UCL round of 16 games, it was Inter Milan vs Atletico Madrid and the home side humbled the away team with 1-0 victory. The goal scored by the Nerazzurri frontline, Arnautovic who was never calm, merely watching at him on the pitch, he was too tasty for a goal and he deliver his team when they needed him. I've full confidence of Inter Milan qualifying for next round because the first leg is sealed with winning, they will travel to Spain and probably secured draw tie.

As for the game between PSV Eindhoven vs Borrusia Dortmund, it ended in 1-1 draw tie, lucky enough I didn't
include this fixtures because it would have shortened my expectations of grabbing major winnings regarding my betting. Both teams struggled to make the difference but rather consider too late for them because there was no other way than draw tie. Perhapes, we would wait patiently for the second leg, let's see which of these teams will be eliminated and the ones that's qualifying for next phase, simple as that.

Yes, with Inter Milan's great performances in their domestic league compared to Atletico Madrid's performances, it is clear that Inter Milan was the favorite team to win the game. Now that the game has ended, Inter Milan was able to win the game with a score of 1-0, which shows that the game was not easy for Inter Milan at all. 


Football is full of surprises, so it's not just Atletico that never fails to surprise us; there are plenty of other teams that do the same, but it doesn't guarantee them victory over a team in excellent form. If someone were to pick a team that performs poorly, I doubt they would pick them to win because they do occasionally get lucky when they play against strong teams. The sole reason that Atletico Madrid consistently makes it difficult for a powerful club to win is due to their defensive style of play when facing such powerful opponents.

After Arnautovic entered the game, Inter started to have very clear positions. I think Inter dominated the game with this change. Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, played without a striker and were ineffective. I think Diego Simeone made a wrong choice. He played Griezman as a striker and brought Morata into the game too late. Inter came close to passing the round with this score, but they could have gone into the second leg with a more comfortable score. I think they missed a lot of clear positions in this game.

Well Barcelona are really one big team especially across their league and coming down to Europe as they’re one team that have made a name for themselves both in titles and in the pattern of football. I think no matter how bad a team plays there are some teams that’ll still be considered as big boys in Europe. Barcelona happens to be one of these many teams. Though at the moment the club is passing through a phase and as we know when a bad phase is happening the club in general suffers it and you can see that in how the players perform on the pitch.

 Over the last few matches though they’ve had good results bit they were all wins based on maybe luck and hard struggle and that’s not what this team is known for. The tiki taka style of play till they fall your defense line flat and get the ball at the back of the net is what they’re known for. But due to their present predicament of not being able to sign players and the injury crisis, they seem not to have the adequate or best and quality players to play with this style. not just that, you can also see that the defense line isn’t rock solid anymore like we used to know Barca for and that’s one big issue they’ll be having heading into the UCL. They’ll be facing Napoli who’ve got fast attackers that can take on this shaky defense and this is a big worry because judging from the predicament of Barca, I’m sure going to bank on Napoli to be able to qualify past them to the next round of this competition.

Inter - A.Madrid game was good, Inter played well and won. Inter is the favorite in this matchup and they will most likely win this matchup.

PSV Eindhoven - Borussia Dortmund ended in a draw, which is good news for Dortmund because I think they will have a comfortable win at home.

But Simeone is also the kind of coach who is ok with a 0-1 for the second leg because he has had some outrageous fights in the past in their home stadium. Losing this game 0-1 doesn't bother him, I am sure about that. Of course if for so long it is tied at 0-0, the goal is and must be to take it home or to get that lucky punch and even win they have the quality to score goals. But at the same time Atletico knew that they are against the best team in Europe maybe next to Manchester City and Real Madrid and you usually don't beat these teams in their home stadium. I can already see in front of my eyes how crazy the second leg will be from the first second to the last.

Borusia Dortmund did appeared to me like they were going to win this game but then they ended the game in a draw, taking a look at how the group stage games were like for them, they had tough teams around them yet Dortmund was still able to finish top of the group which could means they were actually a good team and in this match facing PSV who isn't a weak team wasn't an easy one because PSV did played well too.

I do say that playing so well isn't too important as the winner remains the one who goes home with the trophy, Dortmund have an advantage because they have gotten an away goal which keeps them ahead of PsV especially if PSV is unable to get a goal when they visit them, they may have to end their journey in the champions league, a 1-0 for Dortmund in the next match will mean going to the next stage, meanwhile inter Milan is about getting pass the round of sixteen and may find their self at the finals again this season that's if other teams get kicked out and inter is able to make it to the finals.

It's not unusual to find Atletico Madrid defending in a game where they aren't sure of victory, especially when they are playing a better and in form side like Inter Milan. Worst still in this encounter, Inter is playing from a home side. Simeone would always try to defend and not conceive with hopes that, by some chance they night catch Inter Milan on a counter attack and get something out of it but, how well does this strategy works, you eventually get pressured to conceive. When your not taking the game to them and your defense is constantly been tested, they are sure to find the break at some point and get a winning goal.
AC Milan needs to be more attacking, they've got a squad that give them that attacking power.

Atletico Madrid didn't shot a single shot towards the net according to these stats which is so bad if we add also to it a reduced number of serious attempts to score. This defeat wasn't good for sure but taking only one goal away give them an opportunity to try to win once playing in their home.

For me, PSV Eindhoven 1 - 1 Borussia Dortmund match was more interesting but unfortunately Dortmund couldn't keep their positive result.
I think these both games will be concluded in the second leg. I mean even a single victory isn't enough to be confident that team will pass..

Both teams implemented a different strategy, Inter Milan played with repeated attacks because they are targeting victory at home while Atletico Madrid applied a defensive game and hoped that the match ended in a draw unfortunately Atletico Madrid's defense managed to break in the 80th minute and Inter Milan locked the victory. Yeah even though Inter Milan won today but in the second leg we don't know how the two teams play what is clear is that Inter Milan is completely not safe.

Atletico Madrid seemed to be really frustrated because they were so hard to attack to Inter's  defense. Actually, Both Atletico Madrid and Inter did great job, but in this case, Inter did much better in attacking. they are more offensive although they actually also faced some difficulties during the match.

Although in these matches we cannot guarantee any team winning because both sides are going to be consistent to win the game, I think Inter Milan is the favorite in these games. Even though I believe what you said that Athletico Madrid makes surprises against big teams, I think in these games Inter Milan is going to win because another thing that will make Inter Milan stronger is that they are going to play at home. At this point, I will say they are stronger than Athletico Madrid and are still going to play at home, so I believe Athletico Madrid are going to find it difficult to win the game.

Observing how good a team is matters because that is what will determine the team that is going to win, so if Athletico Madrid is not in good shape, it matters, and we need to see that, so you saying that there's no need to see whether a team is in good shape I disagree with that small moreover with Athletico Madrid make things difficult for Real Madrid I believe that is what Inter Milan are going to put in mind and dominate to the match they wont allow Atletico to the same thing to them so let see how they will do in the match.

Inter Milan game in this match was quite good but Atletico madrid had a strong defense so that many of Inter milan attacks did not result in goals in the first half. In the second half Inter milan also still dominated possession of the ball and they continued to pressure Atletico madrid to score goals. These two team have quite strong quality player, but in the first leg of the match, Inter milan was the host, of course Atletico madrid played quite carefully in this match because Inter milan was able to control the flow of the match from the first half.

Thuram has made 2 shots so far. I hope he can make a big contribution to scoring goal in the remaining minutes of the second half. I was impressed with his performance in this match, but yes, Thuram was guarded quite tightly by the Atletico madrid players so it was very difficult for him to find a gap to score. Martinez was the same, he performed well from the first half but unfortunately he failed to convert several opportunities into goals.

Yeah you are right, PSV Eindhoven has equated the score to 1-1 through a penalty and PSV Eindhoven is still on attacking, if the score does not change until it ends then this is an advantage for Dortmund of course in the 2nd leg match therefore PSV Eindhoven also tried to win this match. In the 70th minute it seems that Dortmund implemented a defensive strategy by replacing several players they want to lock this score until the last minutes.

In another match Inter Milan vs Atletico Madrid entered the 70th minute without a goal but it seems that Inter Milan did not want to lose this opportunity and they continued to storm at least 12 shot efforts were made unfortunately the accuracy is bad. Although the match left a few minutes but Atletico Madrid was not safe, we know that Inter Milan can change the score at any time because they have great players.
