I expect PSG and Milan to qualify for the round of 16 this season compared to Dortmund and Newcastle
Newcastle beat PSG in their first leg game, i would not bet against them doing it again, if they can either beat PSG or draw, then Newcastle would still have a strong chance of qualifying for the RO16. It is so tight to make a call in group F, but the team i think is definitely going to qualify is Dortmund, they are top of the group and are one win away from qualification, and i think they will get that win against AC Milan in their next game. I don't know the other team that'd prolly qualify, but i would predict in favor of Newcastle, maybe because i have a bias towards them and so i want them to go through.
It would be a highly contested return leg for PSG who have already been beaten once by Newcastle united. Am rooting for Newcastle united as well to make it through to the RO16.
For Dortmund, I don't think Ac Milan stands a chance because they are one leg in the RO16.

It would be nice to see more English teams qualify for the RO16 as I have my bets on at least 3 teams of which Manchester city, Arsenal and one between Newcastle united or Manchester United.

the situation in group F was indeed the most tense. The results for this group will depend on the last two matches, each team certainly doesn't want to make mistakes and is working hard for a direct ticket to the last 16 of the Champions League.
Dortmund is currently at the top of the other teams. but the situation could change if they lose the remaining matches. the situation in group F is very difficult to predict. because all teams clearly don't want to lose in the race for places.
All team in group F looks like they all still have potentials to qualify for the next stage of sixteen if only they will be able to win their next two games. I have really wondered as my curiosity is now peaked about how the results for the next match will turn out

Especially with teams like Dortmund and PSG I have really wondered what will be of them, it seems group F had a pack of informed teams and so they all had to struggle their way in a situation that looks like the "the survivor of the fittest" but then I'm still very much optimistic about Dortmund and pSG winning their next match and qualifying to the next round of the competition but then they will both have to further improve because beyond the group stage is a tougher stage ahead.

Not all of them completely, the club Newcastle is headed nowhere, they'll lose the next two games in the Champions League, maybe not the last against Ac Milan but they'll lose this game to Paris Saint Germany. Luis Enrique is experienced and knows how to maneuver games like this. They'll be facing two tough clubs in the next couple days, Monaco and then Newcastle.
Dortmund will try to get a point against Ac Milan for sure. The double wins against Newcastle ( Home and Away ) gave them boost to the top.

There'll be issues for Porto when they fail to win Barcelona or get a point. I'm very sure of Shakhtar Donetsk winning when they face Antwerp. Match day 6 when Barcelona will be facing Antwerp, Porto would be having same points as facing Shakhtar Donetsk, whoever wins will be graced with the chance of qualification.

Despite the fact that Milan has a lot of injury worries I still don't think  Dortmund has the upper hand in this game because Milan still have very good players to fill in the vacant positions and defensively Milan is far better than Dortmund, though Dortmund have fantastic attacking players upfront but I still think the Milan defence can handle that and I also trust Milan's coach to engage some tactical expertise to be able to contain the German side.
Actually, the injury problem in AC Milan is mostly experienced by the defenders. There are 4 injured defenders but it won't be a serious because there are enough defenders for the upcoming match. AC Milan still has Fikayo Tomori, Simon Kjaer, Malick Thiaw, Theo Hernández, and Alessandro Florenzi. These players will be strong enough to put on the defense line of AC Milan against Dortmund. Davide Calabria is also likely to recover before the match. So, there will be no serious problem for AC Milan.

Dortmund also have some injured players. The worse thing that their main goalkeeper is injured and there is no exact time for the recovery. So, in the upcoming match, Dortmund seems to play without their main goalkeeper. It will be a big lose for Dortmund because the substituted goalkeepers have bad quality. Although Dortmund has fantastic attackers, it will be useless if they have weak defense.

I'm sure all fans will be entertained and looking forward to every match that happens in Group F.  No wonder we are eager to see the final result of the Group stage rather than other clubs that are quite predictable. Newcastle who want to repeat their victory will not be made easy by PSG players Enrique must have made an evaluation where the defense is easily penetrated by the opponent counterattack.  I don't expect PSG to submit again, playing at home should be a positive point in controlling the field.  At least in this important match PSG must be able to provoke the mentality of Newcastle players I mean PSG is quite familiar in the UCL competition so they only need to make the focus of Newcastle players waver.  A little hard play doesn't matter if it's needed.
In the match between Psg vs Newcastle United, it will determine the direction of the two teams in securing their steps to qualify for the round of 16. If Psg gets 3 points in this match they will top the standings in Group F and this be supported by a draw between the Ac milan vs Dortmund match. Overall, the teams in Group F are not safe enough in securing their ranking because the 4 teams still have the opportunity to swap positions in Group F. Apart from that, the advantage that PSG has in the match against Newcastle United is quite large because Newcastle United has recently had a lot Their players are injured and that will be very beneficial for PSG.

Apart from that, the other match between AC Milan vs Dortmund is quite difficult to predict because in the first leg the two teams played to a draw with no goals scored. Maybe in terms of experience and support from AC Milan fans have the opportunity to secure victory even though it will be quite difficult for them to do. If he wants to qualify for the next round, of course Pioli must be able to bring his team to end their negative trend when they face Bundesliga teams.

Any team that makes it out of the group stage irrespective of the group they belonged to, they will be aware that the matches ahead are more tougher than the ones they’ve played so far. The competition gets more interesting when they are in the knockout stage where you have only two matches to be played to determine your qualification to the next round after that. Those teams that are not strong will love to be joined with teams that are of the same performance as them, but that is left for the live draws to decide. Some teams already know how far they can go in this competition, they will just try their best to win which every optimistic team will have in mind.

About that Bayern Munich v Copenhagen matchup I wouldn't expect Copenhagen to win to tell the truth. I'm aware of the fact that Bayern Munich have even guaranteed qualifying for next stage as leader of the group.

However I don't expect them to just play badly or very complacently. I would expect some rotation in the lineup depending on their general fixture though. But it is still going to be played in Germany in the end. Bayern Munich wouldn't let 3 points slip through their hands just like that. But Copenhagen would do their best as they are quite a fighter in the group.

Copenhagen really need this three points for them to have a good chance to qualify to the Europa league. They will want to get three points fully in this match but it doesn’t seem that will be possible looking at the team they are going to be playing with. If it was another team, they might feel relent and won’t mind what the outcome of the match is but Bayern Munich, they are point hunters, they won’t want to lose any point as long as they can fight and win the full three points. This is going to be a tough match to Copenhagen but to Bayern Munich, it will be a simple game for them to play and win three points easily.

We are too busy talking about group F and forget that group H is also an interesting group. As we know, Barcelona lost against Shakhtar and that also dashed Barcelona's hopes of qualifying for the round of 16 early. Now Barcelona and Porto have the same 9 points and this will be an exciting competition considering that anyone can win the group with two matches remaining.

However, that's actually not the main point, but Shakhtar, who currently has 6 points, could shift one of the places at the top of Group H because they will play Antwerp (who obviously didn't qualify) and they will definitely get 3 additional points. After that Shakstar will play Porto in the last match and if they do well then Shakstar will collect 12 points. Barcelona and Porto must be careful if they don't want to lose their current place. Wink
Thus, Shakhtar have had greater luck in their last two matches, of course, as you mentioned, Barcelona and Porto must be fully alert. Barcelona and Porto will face each other on matchday 5. If the two draw, Shakhtar will be very fortunate to narrow the points gap. I was quite surprised by the previous defeat of Xavi's squad, perhaps many of us lost their bets in that match, and their progress in qualifying for the round of 16 was delayed.

Barcelona, Porto and Shakhtar have made Antwerp their point barn, and even the remaining two matches in the future will be exploited again to smooth the steps of the three clubs. However, it could be that Antwerp becomes a stumbling block because it is too underestimated, and will make Shakhtar and Barcelona cry a little, because at UCL surprises often occur and are difficult to understand.
That's what I'm worried about if Barcelona's match ends in a draw against Porto, then Shakhtar will make good use of this to threaten the place of one of these teams. It was an unthinkable defeat and fortunately I passed on betting on the match considering there were doubts that made me stop.

It is truly unfortunate that Antwerp is the unseeded team in the group stage and they have to accept that they still lack experience to compete in this competition. Indeed, stumbling blocks will definitely remain and as a team that definitely won't qualify, Antwerp at least won't want to go home empty-handed so they will still try hard to get points, even if it's just one point, at least that can make them a little happy.

So long as champions league is concerned Napoli has no capacity or performance that could push them into wining champions league when there are so many good clubs that are targeting the league and besides if I'm not mistaken checking closely on Napoli statistics on champions league they have not won any champions league let alone get to the finals of the league.
You can’t say that we all know how Napoli's performance has been going in the Champions League, and we can’t say they are bad in terms of performance, which gives them more hope in getting the title, even though there are other big teams that are also looking for the same title as they do. This is competition; they are competing to get one thing, and we can’t say who will be the winner till it’s announced, so even Napoli can make it.

However, just because Napoli have never won a champions league before does not mean they won’t win. Anything can happen at any stage of the competition before the present teams that are winning start, other teams won before them, so Napoli have never won the title before is not a big deal; they will also win one day. Who knows, even this season.

Quote
Perhaps if we talk about the clubs that are known for champions league wining are Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester City because those are the clubs I found worthy based on there performance to win the champions league.
This team you mention is really good in the Champions League, and no doubt they have been doing excellent in the league so far, but what I’m trying to say is that Napoli is also a strong team, and you know how the game works; it can turn up for Napoli, and they will start doing excellent as this team is doing.

Group C of UEFA Champion League have qualified to knock round is Real Madrid and Napoli still need waiting two matches left result regarding remaining 4 points Braga. Next match Napoli will face Real Madrid and if loss three points and Braga win over Union Berlin will be crucial position for Napoli on last match against Braga, have advantage for Napoli if Braga vs Union Berlin have getting draw although they loss points from Real Madrid because last match need get one points only have been enough. If any magician can beat Real Madrid when away match automatically Group C have two teams qualified to next round Real Madrid and Napoli.
Group C is definitely the group of Real Madrid. We all know how good they are while playing in the Champions League competition. So there is no doubt about that.

Group F is definitely a lot more interesting. Because all the teams in this group are capable of qualifying. And also the point difference between all the teams is almost non-existent. Obviously, this is the most interesting group of all the groups there are. And the competition is going to stay hard till the end of the group stage in this group.
There are some groups like that, like how Real Madrid is guaranteed, Bayern is guaranteed, City is guaranteed, these teams are both great teams and winning but also at the same time they did not have any other good team on their group neither. If there was a group like PSG, Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund for those big three club but that is definitely a situation that may have fixed the situation.

However, we are going to end up with a situation that's going to be different in the end, it is going to matter and we are going to see it change one way or another. I understand that some clubs are above everyone else, but when they do not face any bigger club, the situation is even harder and they are not going to change at all.

Winning or losing, Bayern Munich will qualify to the next round of UCL. Thomas have already drawn the map and style of the club this season, they know how to operates and the games to underrate and the one to take as ultimate priority this season. But when it comes to UEFA Champions League, the pattern and level of play is definitely on a different ground, because the Bavarians will put everything they have towards their opponents. Bayern Munich will not lose that game, they're elite team and losing or dropping points with Copenhagen will portray a decline in their performance.

They are doing that every game and not only in the Champions League, but you can still see that sometimes those games are not as easy for them as they think it should be because on paper they look so strong. But the only fully reliable player is Harry Kane for them. The other players have good games and bad games, which is a disadvantage because against the strongest teams in the Champions League playing only sometimes well won't be sufficient to survive for very long in the knockout rounds.

If one did followed up from onset on how the draws for this group was done, you will know that this his how this group is going to end up been when the matches in the group stage is already coming to an end. This is the most difficult group to predict from onset and it has happens just as many people thought about it. Newcastle United was the only team many people didn’t have much hope on but they later have all of us a change of mindset after beating PSG in their first leg match. Everyone still have a good chance to qualify but that will depend on how they play their remaining two matches that is left in the group stage.

Everyone already knows that, group F is a hellish group for the 4 teams involved. PSG, Dortmund, Newcastle and Milan realize that and until the 4th match all teams still have the potential to qualify for the round of 16 and that will only depend on the next 2 matches.

I expect PSG and Milan to qualify for the round of 16 this season compared to Dortmund and Newcastle, but Dortmund has good form to be able to maximize the next 2 matches. In another group, Barcelona is also never safe and the matches there are also difficult to predict where there are 3 teams still struggling to qualify. Group B and group E were the same, so the pressure between these teams had increased greatly.

In case of wins for AC Milan and PSG in this round we will have just three teams for the qualification and Newcastle United will be having exit from Champions League, but doors could be open for them to jump into UEFA Europa League.
the situation in group F was indeed the most tense.

Nothing can really be predicted with certainty in this group because in Group F, every team at least has a chance to qualify. Although ya, of course there will always be a difference but unfortunately, the difference in chances for those in this group is not significant. Therefore, even though Dortmund is currently at the top of the standings but ya, in reality Dortmund still cannot be sure of qualifying for the round of 16. So yes, in essence this group is a difficult group because every team has a good effort too, of course to be able to finish in the top three.
The worst scenario is that Dormund loses to Milan and PSG loses to Newcastle in the 5th match of the group phase, and the group F standings will be displayed differently again. I think this also does not rule out the possibility of it happening, although on paper we can only assume, I agree that Group F has a quite fierce and exciting situation for the four clubs.

Match 5 of 6 will start on the 29th, before each club will face matches in the domestic league first. Dortmund has the advantage of facing slightly easier opponents in the Bundesliga, while the other three clubs are forced to field their best squads because they will face tough opponents.

I think there be lots of obstacles after this break, such as player injuries, even though on the other hand these clubs have lots of time to prepare their main squad. In essence the four clubs must first seek capital in their respective leagues, before returning to the UCL to determine their future fate.

This group stage has come a long way to prove to us one more time that football is an unpredictable game and that is why,  even in the middle of all the discussions,  Newcastle United's current standing has become a surprise to many who have predicted them to have been kicked out of the champion leagues by now,  but with the result of the matches in recent time,  there is now a new hope for the Newcastle united squad to make some miracles happen for them that will change everything for Newcastle united.

Most of the clubs in the same group as Newcastle United seem to be more stronger than United like AC Milan and PSG but just as luck was on their side to have won Evaton in the first leg of the Match in the season,  it shows the level of possibility in the coming games for Newcastle United.

There are only 8 days left for the really important match between Galatasaray and Manchester United in Turkey. Currently one of the bookmakers I saw is showing the odds like 2.50 to 2.60. Galatasaray are favoured to win the match by a slight gap of odds now. This points out how tense this match could be already. The latest match between them was just fantastic. Galatasaray performed amazingly despite playing in Old Trafford and got a legendary win for themselves which was important for their future in the group as well.

Manchester United haven't changed much when it comes to performance since then. A golden opportunity is on the table waiting to be taken by Galatasaray now.  Smiley

Galatasaray is in a very good position before this game, as even a draw will suit them, but for United, only a win will be an acceptable result. Theoretically, Galatasaray can play “for a draw”, forcing United to open up and give chances to score on counterattacks, on the other hand, United are so bad in defense that it might be reasonable to immediately play as number one and solve the issue of reaching the 1/8 right away in this game (hardly Copenhagen will win against Bayern).

About that Bayern Munich v Copenhagen matchup I wouldn't expect Copenhagen to win to tell the truth. I'm aware of the fact that Bayern Munich have even guaranteed qualifying for next stage as leader of the group.

The match in the first leg at Newcastle headquarters, for me, was a fatal mistake by the coach. Statistically, PSG dominated the match. and Newcastle play at their own headquarters, St James' Park. However, in that match, Newcastle was able to embarrass PSG. In another away match, Enrique and his squad lost again when they visited the San Siro. Even though their game was not as bad as in the match against Newcastle, as an experienced coach Enrique should have known very well what he would do in the next match and especially against Newcastle at the Parc des Princes, their own home.
For me PSG's game was not bad, unfortunately some players played unstable, especially the midfield. So, if in this match PSG loses at the Parc des Princes to Newcastle, it will be very embarrassing for them.

And therefore too, as you say. that Enrique will always evaluate the squad he cares for, not just referring to the match against Newcastle. On the contrary, this match will be a tough match for Newcastle. They will be under pressure when playing their match in France. Except, Eddie Howe's squad played with nothing to lose. thus, they would not experience great pressure. By the way, PSG should have won this match. Moreover, Newcastle suffered two defeats in two different events. Ahead of this match, Newcastle will be challenged by the Blues squad. If they lose, it will worsen their motivation when they visit PSG headquarters later.

Exactly, all the teams in group F are still in the running to get through and play in the round of 16. For Borussia Dortmund and PSG it might be enough to win the next match, however for Milan and Newcastle they are both forced to win the last two matches. I don't think that Milan can manage to achieve two victories in the last two matches because they have many important absences such as Leao Okafor loftus-cheek and kjaer, so I see it very tough for them

Wink
Anything can still happen, both Barcelona and Porto need to maximize in their last 2 matches, or at least win 1 more match to ensure they are in the last 16 and qualify from this group.
Shakthar is really worrying for the two clubs above them, because once I 2 clubs make a mistake, then they will be punished by Shaktar. They must be really focused if they want 1 ticket in their hands.
With this kind of competition, it's very interesting for me and I'm looking forward to their last 2 matches. Will there be any surprises?

Group H seem like an open group to me seeing FC Porto and FC Barcelona on same points and the shakthar in third place makes it even more interesting, all eyes are going to be on this group and I also suspect that between Barcelona and Porto one might loose their chance of qualifying if either of them drops point in their last two games in the champions league group stage.
Group H is still open for the top three clubs there to qualify for the last 16 of the Uefa Champions League, and it will last till match day 6 to decide the two clubs who will proceed to the last 16 because Barcelona and Porto, one of them must drop a point and if Shakhtar Donetsk wins against Antwerp, Shakhtar Donetsk will be on equal point with Barcelona or Porto, to take the fight to match day 6.
