I believe Manchester City has a lot of money to spend. So they definitely should not think too much about spending it. If they think that they need a player, I think they should try to get him. Actually, they might need every player that they actually think they need because they are going to compete for the biggest title in club football. They are going for the English Premier League title and also for the Champions League title as well. And they also have a really good squad and a good amount of money to spend. So they really should not have any excuses.

Manchester City still needs a lot of trophies to match Real Madrid's record and I don't think they are the only team that will be the only favorite candidate this season. The competition in the Champions League is still quite long and it takes a lot of preparation for any team to advance to the next round. Manchester City's performance last season and now is a little different because if we look at how they played last season it was a little more convincing to win the title.

This season there are several teams that are much stronger, such as Bayern Munich, PSG and Real Madrid of course, so competing to be the best and win the Champions League is not an easy job. Pep Guardiola definitely wants to defend the Champions League title but I don't think they can do what Real Madrid has done.

The big win over PSV was very surprising, especially considering PSV's status as the top of the Eredivisi standings so far without ever losing. It was an undisputed first win and the Gunners did well with no gaps in their defence.

Regarding Sevilla, we know their behavior in the Champions League competition and they really weren't serious when it came to getting a place in this competition after winning the European League like the previous season. Sevilla may always have plans to go down to Europe's second competition and that is an inevitable fact every season. They know better which competitions can favor them to win and even win the title. So we just know enough about this and they are indeed the most troublesome monsters in their area.

Arsenal has not yet faced a club like real madrid or bayern munich. The situation kinda different if arsenal would be placed at the group F. I kinda feel arsenal may not be able to pass the group stage when it was placing there. Newcastle being unlucky.
It was participating in UCL after many years but it's also being grouped with many strong teams from the various league. Barcelona and arsenal are the luckiest team at this moment.
These clubs are not getting hard group. Barcelona and arsenal were able passing the group stage easily as there was no competition on their groups. The situation is kinda different when it will be coming to the last 16.
Arsenal potentially to face a strong team like bayern or real madrid. this will make arsenal has a small chance to go to the top8.

Arsenal is a bottle club can i was not even trusting this club can go to the quarter final.

Everything in this group is ready for Arsenal to pass this stage and the chance for this team is very high to stay in first place in the table at the end.
In fact, Arsenal is lucky because they are in the same group as teams like Sevilla while they are not in the good form and Lens is far from the performance we saw from them in the past. The only other team in this group is Ajax and we know they don't have the enough potential to race with Arsenal.

I agree that Newcastle performed quite well so far. If we consider their squad quality, they are capable to beat PSG. However, Newcastle players are not in good condition, many of the key players are injured now. I don't argue they can beat PSG, but I think it won't happen in the upcoming match. PSG looks difficult to defeat with Newcastle bad condition. It becomes harder because PSG players are ready for their 100% power for the upcoming match, it is also held in their stadium. So, they will have more motivation to win the match. Yes, everyone must expect PSG to win the match, dude.   

Although Arsenal has less experience in UCL, I agree that no team should underestimate Arsenal. Arsenal has a good squad, it is a strong team in EPL. In the last 2 seasons, Arsenal already became a stronger team in EPL, they are the top 4 of EPL teams. Sure, they only got 1 defeat in UCL group stage so far, they won 3 matches. I think it is quite good results, they are still leading the table at least. If there is no significant change, Arsenal will finish the group stage with a status of the group leader. Anyway, I'm sure Arsenal has a chance to win the UCL trophy. Don't underestimate them, Arsenal can defeat even the favorite team like Man City.  

Guardiola is currently a great advantage for a team like Macnshter City. In fact, they lost many players during the last summer and this definitely damaged the team.
Also, Mcnshter City couldn't hire the players like other teams Guardiola asked them to hire but this team is still in the good form and Manchester City can still have a good chance of winning the Premier League and the Champions League like the last season's they won.

There are just a few clubs in UCL Group B that can compete with Arsenal because Arsenal leads the table and I anticipate them to win the remaining two games. Mikel Arteta has given his all for the Gunners in previous seasons, and he is still in an excellent position to raise the club's performance to meet fan expectations this current season. Arsenal is competing for the UEFA Champions League crown this season, and everyone sees them as one of those random clubs that pull a threat and are ousted from the tournament when it's due time, we know when most elite teams will be eliminated from the tournament.

I agree. I don't remember them feeling bad, each player is a quality replacement for the other. Just think back to the Champions league final last season when De Bruyne got injured in the middle of the match, did Foden replace him badly? A lot of people thought so, but he fitted into the game perfectly

No doubt, indeed. PSG is an elite Europa team that has a lot of quality main players, in terms of substitute player too they have a good player. And that match will also take place at their home so it will not be easy for any team to got three points against PSG, including Newcastle. Currently PSG point gap is also not very safe, they will definitely make great efforts to secure the three points. Enrique who has a great historical record, will also be more serious in this match. So Newcastle has little chance of beating PSG, their fate is really not good because of injuries their key player make this team loses a lot of points before, but group F is a hell group and it's not easy to qualify from there.

I think there isn't that much time left until he returns, unless he injures himself again while trying to return or he reinjures himself after returning, there is just like 2 months left. I understand that start of 2024 seems like a very late period to make a comeback but that's when they will need him, he gets to play at league games, and training, and when it matters at UCL he should be ready, because the last games are a bit later than that, they will still have plenty of knock off stage games and they will play properly there with KDB.

If they try to do something about it, like maybe get replacement, he will be still there so your replacement would not work, unless KDB injures himself again of course, that is the only exception. I do not think that he will though, I think he will come back at the start of January, that is like 40 days left, I believe he will be ready to play no matter what and he should be doing as much good to them as he can after he rejoins them.

Their consistency still in checked. They have not won at the same rate they did last season but anyways, they haven't slacked down in the group they're innit.
I loved the opening game against Psv. That was one of them finest games winning both half's of the game and showing full strength and support. Having a young team is good, it'll be like more of a future investment and those players.

Sevilla though have not been serious, the management also.I feel totally sad they won't be qualifying for the next round but that said. Sevilla if they drop down to the Europa League will show the monster and breast in em.

That's right, everyone who saw how active Arsenal were in the transfer window last summer will know how ambitious Arteta is this season. Arteta has the second best squad depth in the world after Man City and we can see it on the transfermarkt website, with this fact Arteta should be able to make the Gunners talk a lot at the UCL this time.

Even though Arsenal position in Group B is not yet secure, I think they can easily qualify for the next round. I think they just need to manage their self-confidence well, so as not to underestimate their opponents which could make them lose surprisingly. Lens and PSV will be their opponents in the remaining two matches, my prediction is that Arteta's squad will not lose any more points.

Arsenal performance this season looks very promising, Arteta squad has only lost once in 12 matches in the EPL, while in the UCL they have recorded the same number of losses. It would not be wrong to assume that they will be a club that must be taken into account by the more superior teams here, because on paper the Gunners meet the requirements to make many surprises.

Of course Arsenal have received more attention this season in the Champions League since Arteta has really been able to boost the team's performance in the last two seasons. Arsenal are very lucky to be in a relatively easy group compared to compatriot competitor Newcastle and Manchester United, so I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal could qualify for the last 16 by winning the group stage.

One of the next two matches might make it difficult for Arsenal to win, especially against PSV. Lens were not convincing in their next match when they visited the Emirates, even though Lens had beaten Arsenal in the first match of the group stage some time ago. Arsenal will still lead the standings with just 1 win and 1 loss in the next two games, but I don't think they will be comfortable and just accept loss points to Lens or PSV.

Since the start of the season I have been very enthusiastic about welcoming Arsenal to the Champions League considering they have been absent for quite a long time. I still hope that this team from London will continue to be a threat to other strong teams that have often won titles and considering that Arsenal is a big team that has never won a title here, of course it will be a challenge for them to at least make a surprise until they advance to the further rounds. There is no doubt that they can qualify and become group winners and maybe I would like to see them progress to the quarterfinals. Mikel Arteta's players are filled with many young players and all of them are very talented, so it's worth paying attention to whoever the team will be the opponent.

Can I say the opposite, if the Domestic League competition is the toughest compared to the Champions League competition which we consider the most prestigious. Just imagine, every team competing in the Domestic League is struggling to remain consistent in its 38 matches. btw, if we refer to the Premier League. Each team, both top and mediocre teams, will play match after match to achieve their respective goals until the competition ends. along the way, going ups and downs often has an impact on most teams. it could be, on all teams. plus, players suffering from injuries and all that.

The difference with this competition is that the best teams are allowed to enter this competition. In fact, each team will only have two meetings until it's time for the final round to get to the trophy. So it is very natural that the Chanpions League is said to be the highest and most prestigious competition. but in my version, the toughest competition is the Domestic League.

Talking about Manchester City, the team we agree is the best team currently in the Premier League. and overall, we agree that the Champions League is the main goal and target for TheCitizen for now. Well, I still doubt that Pep hasn't actually shown the strength of his team's squad. Yep, armed with my research and analysis, he tends to prefer experimenting. not because the players are not ideal, but rather because they are looking for the most effective patterns and at the same time measuring the potential and talent of the players. Anyway, it's very possible that my analysis is very wrong, but this is just my personal opinion. and I remain confident that City's chance of retaining their title this season remains wide open for them.

I don't think there is anything wrong with Manchester City's players; the team is still doing well this morning. Without talented players, the team would not be in the Premier League right now. Many people point the finger at Manchester City for their performance against Chelsea, but I don't think there is anything wrong with that because a team shouldn't always be winning games. A game is a game of luck, and any team can win or lose at any time. Pep Guardiola is the type of coach who finds it most upsetting when his team loses. He may be able to bring James to the team, but I don't think that will be possible because Chelsea won't let that happen.

James will never come to Manchester City because Real Madrid also wants him, and Chelsea has made it clear that James is not for sale. James is also the captain of the Chelsea team, and the player did not want to leave Chelsea any time soon. Guardiola always wants Manchester City to have the best players in the world, but no matter what, that can never happen because as a good coach he has to encourage his players and also the way they will perform well.

It's true that Real Madrid is the only team currently with the records and no other team has done it even though the seem like they posse the ability to but then Manchester city currently might be working towards achieving that height but it expedient to understand that the UCL is still at group stage.

After the group stage than for me the competition has just begun because the filtering of the bigger boys must have been done and it's only the best who can get last that stage. The competition in the premier league is different from that which you find in the champions league so judging the performance of Manchester city in their domestic league and bringing it as a reason to why they have chances with the champions league may not be really good enough because we have bigger team who they will be facing outside the premier league pattern.
