What is the fate of Newcastle United in the champions league. This is a very big question I have been asking myself since this week. When Newcastle qualified for the champions League, I was very happy for them but when the champions league fixture landed them in the group of death, I pitied thek and predicted that they will not qualify. There first match supported my claim. But from their second match, it seems that they had big chances of qualifying from the group. But now they are at the bottom, I don't know their fate again.
Considering the number of injuries Newcastle has, what is their fate in the champions league group of death?
Newcastle opponent in Group F is a difficult opponent for them, PSG Dortmund Milan is a team that has experience in the Champions League. Although there is still hope for Newcastle, because their gap points very close, but I personally also doubt that Newcastle can get full points in the next two matches. Especially in the match against PSG, there is a high possibility PSG can win in that match considering that they will also be playing at home. But I want to see a surprise in that match, because previously they were able to win with a big score against PSG.

Playing against a team like PSG can't be easy for any team and now we are going to have Newcastle playing against PSG while Newcastle needs to win the game and take the full three points from this match because in the four games Newcastle had so far in the group F, they got only four points which means one point per match and this is not good at all.
But Enrique knows they should not lose points in this match especially since they are playing at home in Parc des Princes.

Though the difference between Newcastle who are bottom of the group F and the leaders of the group Borussia Dortmund is just three points, I think it'll be very difficult for the English Premier League club to progress out of the group and that's because of the kind of opponents they're gonna in the last two games of the group stage.
Their next fixture in the competition will be a visit to Paris Saint Germaine which I think they're very unlikely to get a minimum one point from that game before a home game against AC Milan who are also trying to make it to the round of 16.
Without a doubt it is hard but at the same time despite Newcastle being the last team on that group they still control their own destiny, if they could beat PSG then regardless of the result between Milan and Borussia Dortmund they will only need another win over Milan to make it to the next round, and while I agree this is unlikely this is way better than the situation of many other teams at this particular moment on the UCL, however any result other than a win on those two matches will basically spell the elimination of Newcastle.

Erik Ten Hag's team are bottom of Group A with 3 points, but they are only one point behind second-placed Copenhagen with two matches remaining. Man Utd will visit Galatasaray in the penultimate match before hosting Bayern Munich at Old Trafford. Coach Ten Hag and his team need to win both remaining games. Even if they win both of these matches, coach Erik ten Hag and his team are still not sure of continuing. There is still a case where Copenhagen also wins both Galatasaray and Bayern Munich, and then Copenhagen will win a ticket to the 1/8 round. Not to mention, in the final match, Man Utd will have to face a mighty Bayern Munich. It's difficult for Man Utd to get a ticket to continue.
What's happening with Manchester United worries me. They're in trouble and haven't played well this season. They were in jeopardy after losing at home to Galatasaray and losing to Copenhagen, especially after Rashford's error that got him sent off. In any case, their attack has been poor. Not exceeding 13 goals in 12 league games? Obviously not Manchester United. Defence isn't improving either. They need to reverse their form, which is unlikely, to win their next two games. To qualify for the Europa League, they should aim for third place. Though difficult to admit, their present play makes it impossible to beat Bayern Munich. Their Champions League trip appears more like a fight to survive than a win. Things are sad, but they must accept it
Manchester United really don't have the toughest group. Only Bayern are serious opponents, but for unknown reasons Manchester United have lost three games and won just one. I always thought that they will not experience difficulties in this qualification, but Galatasaray and Copenhagen have more points so far.
Including me I was thinking Manchester United has an upper chances of easily qualifying from there group because Manchester United was not supposed to have much issues on winning there matches because the only strong team that could beat them there is Bayern Munich but on the contrary Manchester United is even making themselves to look like they are the smallest club on there group.

Imagine as big as Manchester United they are on the last position on there group table when they are supposed to be on the second position on the group table if they had performed well, truly Manchester United has really lost form this season.

The risk of being eliminated from the group stage is very high for the home team at Old Trafford right now. The loss to Copenhagen was also highlighted by the red card that striker Marcus Rashford received at the end of the first half of the match. The European Football Federation recently announced that officials in the tournament's Referee Committee will meet to decide on Rashford's punishment. He will have to sit out 2 to 3 matches. This is not good news for Man United. Rashford will sit out the next game. Rashford is still an important player for them. His absence is like a slap in the face to Man United fans. There will be no more hope for the fans when the decision to continue is currently in the hands of the representative from Denmark. Their efforts were just in vain.

It looks like Milan still has a chance to qualify for the next round but it will be quite a difficult job when behind the scenes Milan's players have a little less consistency and in terms of performance strength they may be ready to compete but somehow I still enjoy it more if Dortmund are the candidates To qualify for the next round is a little difficult, but I'm just saying according to my opinion in terms of the performance of the players from several clubs in this group.
Yes, AC Milan still has a chance to qualify for the next round if they win all the remaining matches. Unfortunately, it is not only about the inconsistency in performance, they have a problem about the injury. There are some key players injured, including Leao and Pulisic. With the absence of these players, I personally doubt about the chance to win all the next matches.

Meanwhile, PSG currently has almost the same consistency as Milan, which is a bit erratic or less stable, but I'm not sure whether it will be able to compete with a more experienced club like Milan.
PSG condition is a bit better, they look more ready for the next matches. Although there are some players injured, but the most key players on the midfield and front line have no problem. With the current condition of PSG and AC Milan, I think PSG looks to have a better advantage to win the remaining matches.

It's true, you are too quick to draw conclusions about which teams will qualify from group F. The difference in points in this group is small, 4, 5, 6 and 7 points for each team. There are still 2 matches remaining, these teams still have the potential to get full points. For me, the 2 teams that will qualify from this group are Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan. The next matchday will determine which teams have great potential to advance to the next round.
If in the end Milan can complete their journey to the round of 16, then that will really be something very enjoyable. PSG and Milan have the chance to qualify if they are able to beat Dortmund, but anything can happen, even PSG still has the potential to fail to advance to the round of 16 this season.

I'm not completely ignoring Newcastle's chances, but I have to admit that Newcastle are not favorites to qualify even though they managed to beat PSG in their previous match. I hope PSG can get their revenge in the home game against Newcastle, so that will definitely disqualify them for the Europa League and or completely wipe out their hopes in Europe this season.

AC Milan will face Borussia Dortmund on the next UCL matchday, this match will also be a home match for them which makes them have a greater chance of getting 3 points. Apart from that, bookies also show that AC Milan is the favorite to win with odds @ 1.95 on the 1X2 bet. If they really win the match, they will be in second place in Group F or could even be top of the standings if Paris Saint-Germain is unable to get full points when facing Newcastle.

At the start of the Champions League when we saw Manchester United in this group, I thought they could easily pass this stage and Ten Hag is not going to lose this chance while they are in the same group with two weak teams compared to Manchester United. But Currently Manchester United is in the worst situation they can ever be and I think Manchester United can't have any chance in this group that's why the best they can do is to focus on Premier League games instead of the Champions League.
It's really sad how ten hag has failed the red devils and are making them look like the source of strength to the teams who were supposed to be considered weak amongst them in their group, when Manchester united was placed in they group, it was considered by many an easy group pass for them.

Now these teams who were seen to be weak are rather using Manchester to rank up in their group due to their failure to win most of their games, so far all the four games they have played, Manchester united has been able to win just one and it's really funny how.they have so much goals already but just a win, the highest goal scorers in that group are mostly Manchester united players yet they can't win an game and just qualify, they have just dominated the statistics and are potentially going home.

Their fate lies in how good they can perform in the remaining matches left for them to play. It is not going to be very easy for them but if they were able to pull through in this group and got the points they’ve earned in this group through their hardwork and consistent so far. I think they will get to perform some wonders in these two matches left for them. I am also in support of them because of how they amazed me in the group stage matches when I thought their performance will be poor. We don’t need to be underestimating any team henceforth base on the quality of the team but we should wait and see their performance in the field first before we can conclude.

It is obvious that Newcastle will not qualify for the next group stage. I think they have to put more focus on the premier league. To see if they can come out top 5 in the league. This is because there is a lot of competition in their group table. And the worst part is that they are in the bottom with four points. Dortmund have won Newcastle twice, PSG and Millian are capable of defeating Newcastle  still in the upcoming days.

I really admire the work Real Sociedad have done in Group D so far by the way. They have collected 10 points and they are the leading team as well in a group with teams like Inter and Benfica. I wasn't expecting Benfica to be this terrible of course before the group stage started. They just can't perform the same as they do in their domestic league.  Sad

This has created an opportunity for Salzburg to move them out of their way to make it to the Europa League as well but let's see. There are still two more games for Benfica which can be seen as an opportunity to make it to the Europa League instead at least. But I can't trust them even as much as I do for Salzburg.

Real sociedad is one among Spanish teams that are doing well in their group in the champions league, Real Sociedad hasn't lost a match in their group so far and they're in same points with Inter Milan but Real sociedad is leading the group by goal difference. The both clubs have qualified for the round of 16 as the other teams in their group wouldn't make it even if they win the rest of the match in the group.

Real Sociedad performance has been impressive as for them to top their group when there are more experienced club like Benfica and Inter Milan that has more appearance in the champions league than Real sociedad, I think their impressive form in the Champions league to far deserves an accolade.

Actually, Barcelona is in a group that is quite profitable for him because in Group H there is no team stronger than him, so the possibility of qualifying for Barcelona is very big even though FC Porto and Shakhtar Donetsk can win in the next match. Because in the last match in this group stage, Barcelona could have won more easily at home to Royal Antwerp, which so far does not have a single point in group H. So Barcelona's chances of qualifying for the next round in the Champions League are clearly quite big for him.
Champions are for the best teams and watching Barcelona performance, they're presently in good shape and winning happens to be their priority. Group H is too easy for the Blaugrana this season, what barrier could hold them from not qualifying to the next phase? Except they decline in performance and having zero winnings in next two games. Xavi Hernandez is not willing to take such risks, rather he's keen on moving to significant phase in UCL. Barcelona sit in balance position to qualify from group H table this season. They have the necessary good quality players and they're absolutely ready to take on opposition.
Since they suffered a shock defeat to Shakhtar in the last match, they reduced their chances of leaving the group. Of course, they will get out of the group when they win both matches, but it is still doubtful how well these matches will be played. There will be difficult matches and things are complicated in the group. Now Shakhtar also has a claim to get out of the group and the win over Barcelona gave them strength.

Last season when Man City won the Champions League it looked so strong and solid, Pep Guardiola's team was very difficult to beat in any competition last season. But this season they don't look as strong as last season and we can see some of the defeats they faced in the Premier League against clubs that were far below them. This is something to consider when looking at their condition in the domestic league, although we will not try to make predictions solely relying on the quality of their play in the English league.

I still see the opportunity for Real Madrid, Man City, Bayern Munich and AC Milan as strong candidates as teams that will qualify for the semifinals and I want to see Real Madrid who will face Bayern Munich in the final. Hopefully these four teams will not meet each other in the knock-out so that the semifinals and finals will be more competitive and exciting. What do you think about the predicted odds, is there a possibility that Real Madrid will face Bayern Munich in the final?
Yes they say when you reach your peak and achieve some level of greatness, your thirst and hunger for win will reduce drastically and we can see that in Manchester City style of play, though we could also see the cause as injury on their pivot KDB and red card on Rodri, however the team still got the urge and zeal for success this season and I won't be suprised if they win the league again.

With the team returning from injuries I think, they’ll become that unbeaten team everyone’s scared to play, these 4 teams are pretty cool but I think Bayern might not get into the semis except they work on being clinical and being tactical in style of play, but I see Real Madrid going quite far in this year’s UCL and probably taking the trophy back to Spain.

I don’t think Barcelona will fail to make it out of the group even when their performance is not too good at the moment. There are somethings that a club necessitates more than others, La Liga is still a long time league to go from now and in Champions league they can be eliminated from the competition at any stage. I know Xavi will try to improve the team in all aspects but will give consideration on the team qualifying from the group stage than he will give now to the La Liga which I think they’re not also in a bad position now.

Currently, and I dont understand the problem, Barcelona are struggling in the Champions League. Yet given its enormous strength and very strong players it shouldnt. Lets say that I am satisfied with Barcelonas performance in La Liga, but absolutely not with their performance in the Champions League.
If you learned what's happening in Barcelona, they have a problem in their front line players. Their attackers played underperformance, they are not quite productive in scoring. In the last season, Lewandowski can be an effective machine goal for Barcelona. But this season, his goal productivity is decreasing a lot because he often gets injured. The injury problem ruins his performance, meanwhile other Barcelona strikers can't replace Lewandowski's role as a machine goal.

I think their performance in UCL is quite satisfied. They are leading group H, they won 3 matches and only 1 lose. I'm sure Barcelona is quite safe to qualify for the next round. I even think that their performance in La Liga is worse than in UCL.

I hope that Xavi understands and fixes the problem, and that he passes the group stage, as you say.
Xavi must know how to solve it. He is a nice coach and he was an experienced player that often won the UCL competition. And if we look at Barcelona current position, no doubt that Barcelona will be in the next round.

Borrussia Dortmund would remain a dump club for me, they can't even win a game to decide them league winners, so I can't give that same trust to them in the Champions League.
They've done massively so far, but even if they should qualify outta that group, they're going nowhere honestly. Last time I watched a good game from Borrussia Dortmund was the night Robert Lewandoski scored four goals against Real Madrid ( With Jurgen Klopp as head coach of Borrussia Dortmund )

The favorites for the Champions League remains, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Real Madrid. I can't say same for Manchester United, unless a miracle happens.

Completely, what you say is your right. but even so, Borussia Dortmund still exists even though you say so.
I'm not a BVB fan, but Terzic is quite good at managing his team. even if we talk about last season's league, that's what's unique about football. Even though on paper Dortmund has the opportunity to win the title and break Dotmund's dominance, in reality on the pitch the atmosphere is much different from what we see on television.
Terzic tried their best, but luck was not on their side. There are many factors that we can review, one of which is the mental influence of Dortmund players. Apart from that, there are several other factors.

But what we are discussing here is not last season, but their match in the Champions League group phase.
Well, what you said was Dortmund a few seasons ago, Klopp came and was able to change this team much better. related other points, as I said. you have the right to say what you want.  However, Dortmund is not targeting winning trophies in any event. except, if they are very close to it. In the fifth matchday match, Milan is temporarily the favorite with odds @2.00 and Dortmund @3.65. I conclude, if the odds are like this the match could end in a draw. However, Terzic is a better coach than Pioli in my personal opinion. If Dotmund is not carried away by AC Milan's characteristic style of play, Dortmund's chance of overthrowing Milan is quite big. The point is, Dortmund is not targeting any trophy, the important thing is that they continue to exist and will play their matches with their best performance as much as possible.

Well, if we talk about the candidate's favorite team in this competition. there are only two for me, City is the main one. Especially after half of the season ends, it seems that Pep will show the true toughness of the team's squad. in addition, Bayern Munich.  However, on condition, Tuchel must address several weaknesses in his camp, especially defense and goalkeeping.
Based on my favorite team, of course I want to see Barcelona in the final, especially Arsenal. although it seems, their probability is not as big as City, Madrid, Bayern Munich.

I am not sure if Dortmund will qualify for the knockout round. Despite being at the top of the group, this team's performance has been erratic. In the last two matches they will play against Milan and PSG. And in both these matches they have a big chance to lose. I will hold myself back from betting on Dortmund in these two matches. My two favorite teams from Group F are Milan and PSG. Both teams will probably play in the Round of 16.

The performance of the Barcelona team is quite erratic. If you want to dominate the Champions League, it is important to have consistency in performance. Barcelona has no consistency in performance. Xavi needs to work harder to strengthen his attack. But Madrid, City and Munich are very strong this season.

Milan? They have to be the most Inconsistent side in this group f. They lose another game and their manager could be the next in line to lose his job this season.
Paris Saint Germans also, they just a coach that's experienced in the Champions League and they can boast of qualifications.

Barcelona will pick up, I will doubt that they'll be winners of the Champions League, like you said, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City also Inter Milan are possible potential winners and favorites to win the Champions League.
Barcelona though, have that depth to win the La Liga this season. It won't be difficult if they are determined and consistent.
