The big change is Manchester United can be in third position when De Gea was still there, while current season Manchester United without De Gea is keep losing. So the solution is, bring back De Gea and Manchester United will not be like this.

Now every eyes are on Onana, previously it was Maguire. Let's see if Onana has a strong mental to accept criticism towards him, Maguire is able to fight it for 4 years.
Bringing back David de Gea won't solved United problem, because is weigh bigger than what we expects. Erik Ten Hag constitutes a single of the Red Devils' challenges, having little knowledge about the team's bedrock other than directing game techniques that fail to match the pattern of the players, and these players are also relenting and lacked discipline. Manchester United has struggled in league games this season as a result of their detrimental performance. One amusing aspect of the team's fanbase is that they heap blame on players who perform poorly in games rather than focusing on the primary problem the team is encountering.
Manchester United players are still pointing blames to some players for the cause of the team weak performance,  I think this is not the solution to make things better. All the players needs to take responsibility of their poor poor performance,  this is the only way things can become better for the team. I feel Manchester United players are too relaxed that is why their performance this season have not been impressive. Ten Hag just need a good strategy that will make the performance of the team better.

I think the goalkeeper and defense line both have shortcomings, in the sense that they still need a series of adaptations. This is Onana first season, and we know that most of Man United defenders have just returned from injury, ultimately causing United to concede in every game they play. It's true that Ten Hag must quickly find a solution for United XI formation, and I don't think there's any harm in giving time to young players, if the more senior players consistently make United performance plummet.

Exactly, if Ten Hag cannot bring United to consistently achieve points, the consequences will be very bad, he will not qualify for the last 16 of the UCL, and in the EPL his position will continue to sink, and will end his tenure at Old Trafford sooner.
Manchester United goals keeper and defender still bigger problem for Manchester United in this season, Andre Onana need more time for adapting well and he was conceded many goals 18 goals from 9 matches all competition between Premier League and UEFA Champion League. Unbelievable with Manchester United weakness defense due have conceded many goals last 9 matches all competition, need with new recruitment as central defender how to make Andre Onana more secure as goal keeper position due many critic show for him after conceded many goals in this season.

Manchester United opportunity qualifying to the next round not close yet, have get full points on left four matches in group stage if get chance finish on 2nd standings place and upcoming match against Copenhagen must get three points.

I still can't believe it when I look at the Group D standings with Benfica who haven't gotten a single point in their 2 matches so far. Even so, I think Benfica was just unlucky considering that on the first matchday they lost against Salzburg because they only played with 10 people and then on the second matchday yesterday they lost narrowly to Inter. Next, they will face Real Sociedad, who so far have won 4 points, the same as Inter, and if Benfica wants to qualify for the next round or at least be runners up in the group, of course they have to win this match later. Moreover, they have to make the most of their home advantage and get full support from the fans.

At first I was quite confident about Benfica, given that Benfica had good results in the Champions League last season. So yes, armed with Benfica's good results last season, then I have hopes for Benfica to be a strong competitor with Inter in this group D. But the reality was really far from predictions and far from expectations, because in fact Benfica actually suffered two consecutive defeats at this moment in this group phase.

With results like that, then of course I became pessimistic about Benfica because after all, even though in the next match Benfica will play at home against Real Sociedad but still, I believe the match will still be difficult for Benfica. Because, Real Sociedad is also at least at this moment experiencing an increase in performance and good results in La Liga and also in the Champion League. Therefore, it will still not be easy for Benfica to beat Real Sociedad in the next match.

Champions League action is insane this year! Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Real Madrid seem unbreakable...
This time, the UEFA Champions League will be a little different. This time, big clubs like Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona are performing very well. Looking at the performances of these clubs, it seems that this time the UEFA Champions League competition will be held with great enthusiasm. This is the most prominent club that can be expected to win. In the previous competition (2022-2023), Barcelona failed to compete in the qualifier round, but this time, seeing Barcelona is something different. Xavi has used much better tactics; moreover, he made such beautiful transfers. So this time, Barcelona can be expected to win the UEFA Champions League. And there are much better clubs like Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, etc. that have the chance to win the UEFA Champions League this season. But I think Barcelona's UEFA Champions League strategy looks unique this time. It is hoped that Barcelona will be the UEFA champion league holder this time.

What do you think about this? Share your opinion with us.

It will be a disaster for benfica to face sociedad with the current performance. There are so many weakness spots owned by this club. I can't even imagine how many goals will be made by sociedad when it was against this club.
The thing that is really surprising me to see porto performed better in another group. It's likely porto has a bigger chance to be qualified to play off. Benfica really needs to get three points or it will have zero chance to play in the next stage.

Getting a winstreak is a must for benfica but it's hard to imagine sociedad to lose against benfica in upcoming match day. I would rather than pick sociedad instead of benfica.

The benfica's performance in the local competition is quite stable. It's now at the second place. Sociedad might not struggle to beat benfica.
Even though they are the same as representatives from Portugal, it seems that Porto's fate is quite good in Group H because they can at least still finish as runners up behind Barcelona. Meanwhile, for Benfica in Group D, they only have two chances, namely being runners up or even finishing in 3rd place and having to go down to take part in the upcoming European League qualifiers. Because we definitely know that Real Sociedad and Inter will still be fighting for the group winner. Against Real Sociedad is not an easy matter, especially since this team is quite consistent both in the domestic league and in the Champions League and perhaps betting on Benfica is a bit risky. But I prefer to bet on the goal over result considering that these two teams will be aiming for 3 points in the match.

In past events and up to now, Inter Milan is still a strong challenger for other big clubs, even Real Madrid, as the holder of the most champions league titles, will have a little difficulty against Inter Milan. They have to compete competitively and of course Real Madrid is always consistent in every match. facing Inter Milan.
I understand and admit that Inter Milan can still be considered a candidate to hold the Champions League title, but now it seems like the competition is getting tougher when Bayern Munich is stronger than before, but we always hope that Real Madrid or Manchester City will get the title.

So far, Inter has won 3 Champions League trophies. If I'm wrong, please correct. Meanwhile, the more experienced team from Serie A is AC Milan. for Real Madrid, they are the holders of the most titles. and that is why, Madrid is called the team that has a winning mentality in this competition.
Talking about Inter last season, they were actually quite lucky in meeting opponents who were not that tough. The only tough opposing team before the final round was their city rivals, namely AC Milan.

This season, Inter is actually better than the previous season. Now they are in 2nd place in the group phase, and are at the top of the standings in Serie A. Inter's chance of qualifying for this group phase is quite big. But in reality, IMO, Inter is not one of the favorite teams to win the trophy in this competition. although in fact, anything can happen.
talking about the most favorite team, like last season. City, Madrid, Bayern, still included in the category. although, I have several other teams that I personally prefer. Well, the group phase isn't over yet. Also, there are still other rounds that must be passed by the teams that qualify later. The point is, we just follow every match presented by this competition.

It is difficult for sure as it is a group of death on paper. The current points are also telling us this. It is even difficult to be confident about PSG to qualify from their group. Because that horrible result against Newcastle showed this to us clearly. Newcastle have also proven themselves to be a team that mustn't be underestimated even a bit. I would have also said normally that PSG and Milan would qualify for next stage. However things are pretty different now.

I can't even believe in PSG to be successful despite having Mbappe. As long as this team don't reassure us by some consistency I will doubt their qualifying from the group.

Unfortunately, I didn't watch this match. So, I just read based on statistics. It cannot be denied, it seems like the tactics implemented by Eddie Howe are going according to his plan. although previously, Newcastle experienced difficulties on their first matchday against AC Milan. However, when they played against PSG at their own headquarters, Eddie Howe's squad was able to win this match by a landslide. Either he has learned from the previous match, or it could be because the strategy implemented by Enrique failed miserably. That's why I can't judge this match objectively. because, I prefer to watch other matches presented in the Champions League.

If I refer to PSG's statistics and line-up, I conclude that Enrique was experimenting in this match. because, very rarely does he apply the 4-2-3-1 pattern. Usually Enrique uses a 4-3-3, or 3-4-3 system. I don't know why Enrique implemented that pattern system, but what is certain is that he failed miserably in this match. even though in fact, PSG controlled 73% of ball possession. However, their defense line was poor, which in the end was easily broken through by Eddie Howe's squad. In the future, I am quite sure that Enrique will not apply a pattern like that again.
Now Newcastle are in first place in the group phase, on matchday 3 they will host Dortmund. We cannot predict the results yet. while PSG will host Milan. In the next match, at least we will have a little idea which teams have almost no chance of qualifying for the Group F phase.

Luis Enrique is trying some things desperately because he doesn't have much choice other than that these days. Because whatever he tries it doesn't work these days. I don't know maybe it would be much better if he chooses a system and gives it some time to see its affect. Because changing system very often isn't a good thing for a team at all you know. If PSG don't even advance to the next stage in the Champions League then Luis Enrique might even get sacked earlier than expectations.

Maybe this might not be related to Luis Enrique either. It might be related to the management style of the whole team maybe.

I watched Atletico Madrid - Feyenoord match partially. I feel like Feyenoord was performing really good - I think they should not have been demotivated and lose. They are very competitive team.
Newcastle United - PSG match was very enjoyable tho. Newcastle united seemed very solid there and got clean fair win against PSG. I hope we can watch them more in next round as I really like such solid teams fighting lot and beating bigger ones.

Feyenoord was almost equally to the atletico madrid. I saw that how atletico madrid was so struggle to beat feyenoord. Atletico madrid was almost loosing agaist feyenoord. Im not even feeling doubt why people called feyenoord as a strong team.

The statistic was also telling us if feyenoord was a strong team. I think that atlteico must be competing with this club to be qualified for the play off. Feyenoord probably even stronger compared with lazio.
Atletico madrid was also even losing in the domination of attacks. Feyenoord has produced more goal attempts.
I was very surprised because Feyenoord was able to play quite a draw even though at the end of the match the match was won by Atletico Madrid with a score of 3-2, I did not really know Feyenoord but after I saw and how their prospects in his domestic league was quite strong and had a ranking in the league The Netherlands is not surprised that Feyenoord can resist Atletico Madrid, but a little different from PSV who comes from the same league but they get a draw and one loses at CL, unfortunately Group B is quite competitive for PSV, even though he is the top of the standings in his domestic league .

Newcastle united seems learned a lot from the previous match against acmilan. The club was not focusing on dominating the ball possession but the club was hunting for the ball and then made counter attack.
PSG can't even prevent newcastle in scoring a lot of goals.
It was quite surprising that PSG could be pressed so far by Newcastle United, whereas previously it was rumored that they would be very difficult to get out of Group F but seemed to provide enough resistance to bring them to have greater potential as the champions of Group F.

In fact PSG, Newcastle, Milan and Dortmund are in the most difficult group this season and all matches are difficult to predict. PSG lost to Newcastle due to their own mistakes in defence, which has frustrated the forwards. PSG played well and had good statistics in building attacks, but Newcastle, which was more focused on defending and counter-attacking, actually benefited from mistakes and negligence in PSG's defense.

Even if you doubt that PSG will qualify for the round of 16, I still think that PSG's chances of qualifying for the round of 16 are still between 60:40. I mean PSG still has the potential to qualify for the last 16 if they win 2 of the next 4 matches, but they can't lose more than 1 time.

Their weakness last season that had to fail in the Champions League was because they did not have players who could implement quick counter-attacks. If we remember that match then there were actually several opportunities that had to be wasted because they could not be fast in counterattacking. Their defense was good at the time but the sharpness of Manchester City's attacking line cannot be denied. 1 goal was enough to make Manchester City lock the title last season.
Yes, I agree with you that Inter Milan is one of the clubs ready to compete in the Champions League. And they actually have that history.

They've only recently improved, and I slightly disagree that they consistently provide competition, because in fact the last few seasons they've also struggled to compete. If we look at last season, actually not only INter Milan can provide competition, but last season was the rise of several Serie A clubs in the Champions League, we call AC Milan, they also rose, and it is unfortunate when 3 Serie A clubs have to meet each other from the last 8 to the semifinals so they have to beat each other. I actually wanted them to separate, but the draw required them to meet each other.

The midfielder's are meant to shield the defenders since they're currently under crises. Mason Mount should be used on the flanks and not behind Bruno Fernandez, Erik Ten Hag will not drop Bruno Fernandez deep bit Mason Mount looks odd in that position.
They also need a midfielder that holds the ball amd keeps possession very well. Mainoo Kobbie the young player would have been the best player to execute this plan for Erik Ten Hag, he should be paired with Casemiro.

Not making the top four depends on Erik Ten Hag amd that would be a fatal flaw. If he is wise, he should have learned the hard way from coaches of the past that failed.
Erik Ten Hag might be right, but, I'm still not comfortable with him fighting Jadon Sancho off the squad. He should do better.

I know that whatever we discuss here may not be in line with Ten Hag's ideas, especially in formulating a game plan in a match. Technically Ten Hag has done his best so that his team can get into good form, but it hasn't worked for Manchester United. It's definitely not been a good season for Ten Hag, but I also don't discount the selfishness of some of his players in the game.

Marcus Rashford's performance was completely beyond expectations, I mean he is a player who has had a big downfall earlier this season. Marcus Rashford only scored 1 goal and 1 assist in 7 appearances in the Premier League, while he scored 17 goals and 5 assists last season in 35 appearances. He is clearly a problem at the moment, but the support and trust for him must remain despite Rashford appearing selfish.

If i am not mistaken last season Benfica was able to advances to quarterfinal but at that time they lose from Inter Milan with total aggregate 5-3 and this season actually Benfica performance at their domestic league also very impressive even last week Benfica has been able to beat Porto so if we see from their recent matches results obviously Benfica is on the good shape but indeed their performance at champion league was very poor that in the first match they surprisingly lose from Salzburg and yesterday Inter has been successfully to stole 3 points from them and upcoming match will be so important for Benfica because if they lose again then their chances to qualified to round of 16 is compeletely closed and next match Benfica will fight against Sociedad

Another thing is the Man United midfield. Defending starts from the midfield. A poor midfield will make the defense suffer when a defense is suffering, they'll surely concede goals.
I've been saying these things forever. United needs to work on their squad. They don't have a squad that can fight for the league or the Champions League. They will not even make the top 4 in the league.

The midfielder's are meant to shield the defenders since they're currently under crises. Mason Mount should be used on the flanks and not behind Bruno Fernandez, Erik Ten Hag will not drop Bruno Fernandez deep bit Mason Mount looks odd in that position.

They were ahead 1-0 against Real Madrid, but since they could not prevent Vinicius, the match is now 1-1. They can try their luck by scoring another goal or they can try to keep the draw. Napoli is a great team, but so is Real Madrid. If Real Madrid wins the match, it will be very important for Napoli to win all their other matches to get out of the group.

With this, the betting heated up again because seeing Vini score a while ago, the odds for Madrid became even more favorite than Napoli.
The match becomes more interesting now as both teams will try to do whatever it takes to get the upper hand in this match as they know that whoever wins the group could be theirs.
I'm feeling pretty confident about Madrid in this one and even if it's late I'll try and bet on Madrid.

The score was now 1-2 after Jude had again become a player who could contribute for Madrid.
It will be pressure for Napoli if they try to do the same scheme and lose in their midfield.
Well, you have to see that Madrid is a master when it comes to managing the teams, where you can see a clear difference in the football that is handled in Spain with respect to an Italian team that is champion, rather MADRID if it proposes it. He could have scored many more goals, he is a lot of machine, Kross Vinicios has a lot of power, Bellingham also has a lot to do, and a tremendous goal was scored where he got 3 defenses and what a great goal.

It is necessary to highlight that when they were playing in Italy, the game initially looked very much like Napoli, but then in response to everything changing, suddenly it is as if they were playing at the Santiago Bernabeu, because they did things that they normally do in their stadium. , Madrid does only in its stadium when it is home.

For me this match is as if it were an exhibition for Real Madrid, they have done a good performance all the time, what excites me most is that well here they see that in Seria A they have improved a lot, but Napoli is not their Better Respect , I Expected a better performance from them, however when we start to think we could say that things for the Italian Teams have improved a lot, but I think that Inter Milan is better and I see that they have Done things better, Napoli From how I saw it, they tried to score a lot of goals but they were not forceful, Madrid always let them reach the midfield and then they took the ball away like they were little children, personally for Me Napoli is not that good team when it has to face a titan, it is the best in Italy Against one of the best in Spain, but the difference in levels was very Evident , at one point they only made passes, and Naples could only take the ball away and throw it into the void, however things in UCL are quite indecipherable, because anything can happen, it may be that the teams that one thinks Exist can win and yes, that's how it is in futbol.

When Erik ten Hag was first brought in, he was a manager who was expected to bring positive changes to the team, especially last season when MU finished third in the EPL, everyone believed ETH would bring good changes to MU.
But for some reason this season, after bringing in many desired new players, MU was unable to meet the expectations of many parties.
and I agree with you, if the bad results continue, of course the pressure will be even greater. So Erik ten Hag must be ready to take responsibility for MU's current condition, so that the choice to withdraw for ETH is the right choice.

At least, when Manchester United still had de Gea, then if Maguire bad performance but still be saved by de Gea with good performance . But yes, currently de Gea is no longer at Manchester United because Manchester United brought in Onana but unfortunately, it seems like that was the wrong decision . Because, this season, if the performance of Manchester United's defenders is not good and worse, no one can back up Manchester United's defense . Because yes, Onana performance was also bad for the Manchester United goalkeeper. Therefore, the problem at this moment for Manchester is clearly becoming more difficult, because Erik ten Hag must also be able to make good plays, especially for their defense.

It's a shame that now the MU is going through so many bad things, they have no luck, they don't win anything, the players are very good, they have lost valuable players, some of them are not the best, they have differences with Ten Hg, honestly whatever they do Under the direction of Ten Hag they are not going to raise their heads, as I have said before, for me the problem with the MU is the coach and until they change it, they will not have any kind of good things or good results, that is something that is not known. They should forget, now that they are going through bad times, what will the board think? because this is not just any team, it is a team that has taught respect all its life, now no one respects an MU that does not even win the greeting, as a MU player I would try to leave quickly, because when that coach has a difference with someone They simply make his life impossible, so that's not worth it, because in a team you have to support your players and not make their lives impossible, if the beunos leave, who will he fight with?

Man Utd chiefs backed to make big Erik ten Hag decision ahead of Brentford clash

Quote
Manchester United chiefs would be right to make a "big decision" on the future of Erik ten Hag if results do not pick up. That is the view of Arsenal legend Ray Parlour, who has warned it could be a slippery slope for the Red Devils boss if he has lost the dressing room.

Source: https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1820925/Man-Utd-news-Erik-ten-Hag

Could it be that the MU board is already reacting? So if things are like this, they shouldn't think about it so much, they should remove it and that's it, so many technical directorates out there should try whatever, the MU shouldn't be going through What they are right now, Ten Hag is the worst of all the MU's mistakes, he is the coach who tries to ridicule the legends and star players, when in reality he never had an impact as a player, at least not that is recognized.

exactly but his excellent work is not from this year, try to understand what I mean
he did a good job in previous years and above all they made him do it
now the team is mature and it's time to reap the fruits of these investments

for me they can win the Champions League without problems

Last season also they were near to win the CL and also give a good fight in final so yes they can do it this time but with CL I feel they need a bit of luck too. They have improved a lot over the years but CL is really a different league and I feel nothing can be said for certain. But I do agree that Inter are definitely one of the CL contenders. I think they will get to quarterfinals easily but can't say for certain after then.

As the manager, he should expect a lot of trolls and criticism for his team's poor performance, and this is true for any manager in football. Eric Ten Hag did exceptionally well last season to qualify his team for the Champions League this season, and that is what fans and team management continue to demand from him, even after they added new players to the squad to make them competitive.

All of this should only motivate him to work harder to improve the team's performance in this competition. If the team is eliminated from the group round of the competition, it will be a major setback because they have a solid chance of qualifying for the knockout phase. It is now up to their efforts and resolve on the pitch to determine if they will advance to the next stage, which they should be working on by now.
Ask any Manchester United fan whether they think that the achievement from last season was exceptionally well. I am sure you will be told that they expect the qualification for the Champions League as a standard achievement considering the history and prestige of the club. You can't call a 4th rank an exceptional achievement for Manchester United. It was good, but it's nowhere near where the club sees itself.
It would actually be said if the 4th rank was an exception in recent years. Manchester United is looking at their rival Manchester City for over a decade now and they never managed to finish just one season ahead of them. I am sure this hurts everyone who loves the club and they want the good old times back.

Manchester United's performance in the first 10/12 matches of last season was very poor. But even then with the help of ten hag they made a great comeback. Gradually the performance of the team stabilized. And finally  they managed to get into the top four of the table. However another reason why  Manchester united is in the top four of the table is the poor performance of teams like  Liverpool, chelsea and tottenham.

After qualifying  for the Champions League, United fans' expectations of the Ten hag increased. But since the start of this season, several key players in United's squad have been out of the squad due to injuries. Ten Hag have yet to  find their best XI. Because of this, Manchester united's performance is still  weak and erratic. Once the players return to the squad, perhaps we will see a return to stability in Manchester United's performance. However Ten Hag needs more time to stabilize the team.

But yes, I don't know in how far ten Hag is involved in transfer decisions and whether he has a lot to say in the club when it comes to player transfers, but there have been some questionable decisions in the recent past.

I don't think he is entirely to blame for Manchester United's poor form. In the past they have spent millions of dollars on players like Jadon Sancho, Harry Maguire and Anthony Martial and they have never benefited from them. So, there is a long history of bad and wrong transfer policy at Manchester United. They are like Chelsea, but not as bad as Chelsea. Smiley I don't think Erik ten Hag has a squad that can compete with his rivals. Manchester United need a lot of transfers and they have almost no chance of winning the Champions League.

I wouldn't say entirely to blame, that's always an exaggeration as a club is much bigger than a single person in any case. But he can't complain about not having enough money to buy players. He did get some players. But what I wonder is whether those players were chosen by the sporting director or whether ten Hag could also decide which player to buy and which one to skip.

Do you remember the issues that Tuchel had with Leonardo at PSG? It was because Tuchel was essentially not involved in the transfers if I remember correctly and he had to work with whatever player Leonardo decided to be the right ones for the team. That's really bad because I think a coach knows better or should know better.

This is something I have always said. Onana may not be elite or be in very good form at the moment but blaming him for every goal Manchester United concede is very illogical.
Against Galatasaray, the defense was so awful.
Dalot refused to tackle well for the first goal United conceded. The defense is in shambles. Any goalkeeper in the world would still concede as much as Onana at Man United.

If indeed Manchester United's problem lies with goalkeeper Onana, Erik Ten Hag should take the right steps to replace him with Altay Bayindir temporarily.
Erik Ten Hag must try this step to be able to determine whether it all lies with the goalkeeper or their back line, there is still time for Erik Ten Hag to be able to improve the strategy of his players so that Manchester United will not experience a continuous decline in the UCL.
If Erik Ten Hag cannot act immediately and still does not change his strategy and cannot assess what is wrong with his players at the club, it is possible that Manchester United will not qualify for the next round.
