It hurt a bit especially since my choice of a crazy bet on Benfica ended up with a win in the multi used which made me feel a bit tight.

But these things happen and Madrid did everything they could in this match, they just weren't lucky enough as Ancelotti was a bit late with some of his players which resulted in points being lost.

The next match will make them have to work a little harder because with this defeat indirectly if they really want to get a decent position in the league phase then the matches against Dortmund, Liverpool and Atalanta must go well and they must not miss again in other matches in the Champions League.

I don't know what to say about tonight's game because it was not what I expected. Bayern lost to Aston Villa at Villa Park. Although Bayern Munich has been overrated, I don't expect them to win the game. My anger is on Real Madrid, and Atletico Madrid. How difficult it was for them to score in the game. Lille had made it tough for Madrid today. Sincerely speaking this Champions League format will not favor some clubs 😂.

I can see the reaction and disappointed in Bayern Munich and Real Madrid fans today.

Too many people mind blown with the outcome of the game between Aston Villa and Bayern Munich. Well, I'm not, not even in the slightest way because I have seen something like this happen two seasons ago when Unai Emery managed Villarreal. We shouldn't forget he dealt with Bayern Munich and also knocked them out of the Champions League Competition. The game today was more tactically approached as Unai Emery showcased his brilliance over Vincent Kompany. Up next would be the game against Manchester United for Unai Emery. Liverpool are really thriving with Arne Slot, they're having the second Champions League Competition win this season. Props to them.

I was carried away while watching the game. It was a fantastic match to watch. The actions were thrilling and I was impressed with the goal scored by J Durran. Just a three-way tough and it's in the net. From Martinez to the defender and then to Jurran, without any delay, he quickly and accurately smashed the ball into the net. This is a true definition of Black Shine Brightest. What a brilliant finish!

I just pity some sports bettors. Things went wrong this night and could be the effect of the new champions league format. Take a look at the results below;

Lille 1 : 0 Real Madrid : Even over 1.5 goals didn't play. The least Madrid to score didn't happen.
Aston villa 1:0 Bayern Munich: Even over 1.5 goals didn't play. The least Bayern to score didn't happen.
The worst is ATM swallow 4 goals from Benfica.

It seems that some big names are going to struggle from 9th position and determine who will join the top 8.

In the end my words came true even though in the end there was a significant change in the quality of Madrid's attack with the inclusion of some of their star players but when LOSC had made a stronghold in the defensive scheme it was a little difficult and the final result Madrid had to admit that LOSC got 3 points and they had to lose their away match in week two.

It's a bit unfortunate when in fact this is one way to smooth their plans to qualify directly from the league phase especially when the opponent is below them in terms of level but Madrid's performance is not very good especially for the first half.

Ancelotti tried more schemes in this match even though if they were forced with 3 strikers as usual from the start or adapted 4-3-1-2 like last season where Jude was placed under the striker then maybe the results could have been different but they still tried 4-4-2 just like they did in the previous week in La Liga.

Aston Villa has really surprised the world by defeating almighty Bayern Munich tonight in UEFA Champions league group stage at the Villa Park. Who could believe that Aston Villa will win Bayern Munich in there UEFA Champions league match, when it comes to experience and quality players Bayern Munich has more quality and experience players than Aston Villa but couldn't stop Aston Villa from Winning Bayern Munich. With the tactical play display by Aston Villa tonight at the Villa Park if they could continue with it they can't easily be won in there domestic league and also in the UEFA Champions league if look at the stastic of the match you will see that Bayern Munich won in all round both in ball possession and goal attempt wereas Bayern Munich are favorite to win tonight but it end to be a disappointment, the celebration at the Villa Park by the home fans is worth to be seen again.

Madrid faltered a little especially after the penalty goal by LOSC at the end of the first half, but for the second half it looks like Ancelotti will change the attacking scheme a little and indeed it must be done especially now that Mbappe and Modric have been included to strengthen the attacking line which is still not optimal for Madrid.

Time is still long enough and Madrid still have to take advantage of it because seeing from the game done in the first half actually LOSC performed better than Madrid and now Ancelotti must reverse it because if not, they could have to be willing to lose points in this match especially for now it looks like LOSC immediately changed the scheme to a more defensive direction to secure points because after all even though 1 goal was already an advantage for them.
