I think the reason why he believes so is because PSG has been on the champions League almost every season, so that means that they are use to things about the champions League unlike the Arsenal that doesn't use to be consistent on the champions League, so if the experience he really meant is about the champions League he is actually correct but however it doesn't mean that Arsenal is a vulnerable club for them to win.

So if you ask me I cannot say that PSG is better than Arsenal because Arsenal use to be very fierce on there matches especially this season, though the only thing about Arsenal is that champions league use to be a very difficult for them because it was only through struggle they got to the point they did last season.

If I'm not mistaken, the last time PSG didn't participate in the main stage of the Champions League was in 2011. It's unlikely that anyone in the club remembers those times, since PSG then got used to dominating Ligue 1 and getting into the Champions League directly. This has created a certain champion mentality in them, but I can't say that Arsenal's is much worse. After all, the EPL is a highly competitive league and Arsenal have become accustomed to fighting for the title in recent years, anything less is seen as a failure.
Based simply on the balance of league strengths, I assume that Arsenal are clearly stronger than PSG.

PSG are on a top form even more than Arsenal and Arsenal hasn't been very consistent in the champions league therefore I don't think this is going to be a one sided match that'll favour only Arsenal. Both clubs are playing good football and they'll both have their chances to win the game. I think the club that wants it more is going to win and since this is the begining of the season and Arsenal will be playing at home, they're going to win. Head to head, Arsenal has the advantage over PSG. I also think there might be a draw somewhere between the both clubs as no one will want the other to win. There's more pressure on Arsenal to win though.

I think PSG won't lose, despite the fact that it will be an away match for them, but Arsenal really plays worse in the Champions League than in the Premier League for some reason. 4.7 is a fairly high odds for PSG, I'll see later, maybe it makes sense to play with a handicap for PSG. Another match I want to watch is Bayer - Minal, Bayer will at least play at home, but they will play after a difficult match with Bayern, and Milan seems to have finally started to play much better, after a not very confident start.

There are a few things we have to take into account about Arsenal and PSG. Arsenal will be without Ødegaard and Merino.

Arteta on Ødegaard and Merino: “We’re not expecting any player to return in the next 24/48h”.

source: https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1840681317937082601

They are good players, but Arsenal are playing well, even without them, which means that Arsenal will not be harmed by their absence in this game. But PSG will not be able to count on Ousmane Dembélé who has been a very important player for PSG. So I see PSG weakened in this game. To make matters worse for PSG, Arsenal has historically done very well when playing against PSG.

source: https://livescores.biz/h2h/arsenal-vs-paris-saint-germain

PSG had difficulty beating Girona, who are not a strong team, on the contrary, they are a mid-level team in La Liga. On the other side, we have Arsenal, who had difficulty beating Atalanta, who are not doing well in Serie A, but Atalanta manages to have luck in European competitions. So, in my opinion, Arsenal is stronger than PSG. Just look at the bookmakers who are giving the following odds:

Arsenal = @1.74
PSG = @4.80

In my opinion, Arsenal will win this game.

It is clear that the match between Arsenal and PSG will be one of the big matches in the Champions League this time. In this match, Arsenal is slightly more favored because they will compete at home. But even so, it is not easy for Arsenal to beat PSG because in addition to the quality of the players who are above average, PSG is also coached by an experienced coach, Luis Enrique. Therefore, it is worth waiting for what tactics will be applied by both coaches, Arteta and Luis Enrique, in winning this match.
Lol, this feels like the clash of the titans, because back in their domestic leagues they are both big teams, Arsenal is a top team in their domestic league so do PSG and ofcourse it's the obvious reason they have appearance in the champions League as it takes qualification from top teams to be in the champions league, one thing that's going to facilitate the tactical approach on this games would be the importance and priority attached to this game by both teams, although I know champions League is always of higher priority to most teams but in this case PSG has been the team mostly known for having champions League as a dream and would do almost anything to keep up a winning streak there meanwhile Arsenal have over the years kept much priority on the premier League ofcourse they have had enough champions League experience, the premier League has not been won by them in a long time so it probably affects their priority but then lest wait to see what they have got and how this mentioned factor will affect the game

Based on the reputation and ambition of the two teams, this can be considered the highlight match of this round. I expect the two teams to deliver an exciting 90 minutes of scoring. One notable point is that both Arsenal and PSG have been unbeaten since the beginning of the season: Arsenal won 5/8 matches, while PSG won 6/7 matches. The problem is, that coach Luis Enrique's team has not experienced really difficult matches against tough teams. As for Arsenal, they have so far met tough opponents like Man City, Tottenham and Aston Villa.
So in my opinion, Arsenal is the better team. In addition to the homh-field factor, Arsenal's playing style is considered to be more varied and effective. Therefore, I expect the Gunners to win 2-1 against the visitors from Paris. Emirates will be the fulcrum for the Gunners to hope to defeat the visitors.

PSG vs Arsenal should be one of the biggest fixtures of the second round match of the champions league. Each of this teams have been doing great in their respective leagues and you can’t easily say one is better than the other in their domestic league games even though Arsenal is not on the first position on the table which PSG is. Playing with a team like PSG should even make Arsenal want to play better and win the match. They have a lot of potentials in their team but if they don’t make use of them well, PSG will easily prevail against them.
The match between Arsenal and PSG will be among the toughest matches of this round of the Champions League, both the teams are very good in their domestic competitions, and both of them have some quality players in their squad that can help their respective teams to win games.

I will be supporting Arsenal as an Arsenal fan because I believe we are going to win the match because we draw our Champions League opening match against Atalanta, losing or playing a draw against PSG will make many people think that Arsenal cannot be capable of going far in the competition and Arteta will equally want to win the game.

The current PSG squad has more experience than the Arsenal squad and if we’re going to rate this match on experience by each team, we may give the winning in the end to PSG which in my opinion it can’t be that easy for them to attain. PSG is a very strong team also, their dominance in the champions league in the past cannot be forgotten, they’re also up to the task to prevail in this match too.
Experience in what form mate?
There are some set of new players in the squad who have fewer Champions League experience, and we know how PSG's performance is in the Champions League; and also, considering Arsenal's defensive quality, I don't think PSG will easily win Arsenal in this game.

It is definitely going to be a tough match. I have been analysing this particular match to know the possible outcome to place a bet on it  Both clubs are doing well domestically and PSG are aware of the threat that arsenal possess and they will come prepared. PSG playing their first away champions League match without Mbappe will not be the same, as when Mbappe was there. But I'm looking at arsenal to having the upper hand in this match, because they need the winning more than PSG does, so they have to work harder. Secondly arsenal are playing at home, and the home advantage should also be an extra motivational factor to give arsenal the win here. PSG will prove difficult to be, but in the end it will be all three points to arsenal.

I don't know, let's say that these matches are super difficult both to play and to predict.
You can't know that the PSG players, who are professionals and are strong, have a burst of pride and decide to play the match of their lives
The technical qualities are there, they are not people who don't know how to do their job, if they want... they can win easily.

PSG looks consistent in Ligue 1 because in their last five matches they only drew once against Reims while the rest managed to win matches. Likewise with Arsenal who still look consistent in the Premier League even though they were held to draws by Brighton and Man City. Both teams are in good form although it is difficult to predict the results in the Champions League because here it takes mentality and experience.

I think a draw would be the best for both of them but I am more confident that Arsenal will win the match. Because currently Arteta's troops are much more motivated to want to get a win and the match is also taking place at Arsenal's home ground.

On Tuesday, the biggest match is obviously Arsenal v PSG.

Arsenal can be quite unpredictable in the Champions League. As they are playing at Emirates, I still think they are one step ahead in this match but we will see... It is a really busy calendar for teams playing in competitions like this at the same time. It isn't easy to handle it with the same starting eleven all the time. Rotation is extra important this season as there are more European matches to be played than before.

I think we won't watch a boring match above all else. And I believe PSG won't lose. They play much stronger than the times with Mbappe. It is obvious after watching them recently.  Smiley
Arsenal vs Paris Saint Germaine will definitely be one of the star games of the match week 2 in the UEFA Champions League competition and a very interesting game to look out for. When it comes to the Champions League, experience of a team in the competition plays a major role and we all know that Arsenal have got a better record in the competition than Paris Saint Germaine. Again, Arsenal will be playing the game at home and that I think is an added advantage.
Paris Saint Germaine have been impressive this season in all competitions and will be going to the Emigrates with the intentions of getting a win in that game which will make the game a difficult one for both teams but I predict an Arsenal win
Arsenal has a huge advantage because it is at home. It is also unfortunate that such matches are not rematches. There is only one match in the new format and teams that play against such strong opponents gain a huge advantage when they play at home. Arsenal is one of the teams that will gain this advantage. It is a difficult match for Paris Saint-Germain, if they get a point I think they will be successful. There will not be as many easy matches as in the French league in the Champions League.

An EPL side doesn't relent towards their actions when it comes to winning matches, they've priorities and thrashing oppositions happens to be their ultimate target this season. It would be huge hurdle for the club but things do actually works smoothly. We expects more goals from both clubs tomorrow, infact who's brave enough to place a wager on the home team to win this game? Perhaps we understand the outstanding form of Arsenal, always craving for big winnings and knowing exactly how to handled these oppositions.

Paris Saint-Germain will travel to Emirates Stadium to face Gunners in the UEFA Champions League. This is really one of the tough games around and we exactly know the edging performance and suspense that would be triggered in the atmosphere. Mikel Arteta and his team have solid performance and their defendlines, well stationed formidable.

If you are commenting exclusively about champions League I will agree with you slightly but if we want to make a general comparison about the cumulative performance of Arsenal as compared with PSG then this may not be completely true because in their domestic league, both teams are performing well within their rankings. For me I see a 50/50 chance for this two teams in this game, although the home advantage may be something Arsenal may want to utilize well enough but it will means PSG not giving off matching strength and performance but on a general scale, both depth and strength, both teams aren't doing bad except for differences of strategy and tactics.
True! both teams have somehow equal standing in term of performance and I don't think it will be easy for either both side to defeat one another, if we should check Arsenal they only had just 2 draws even with their strongest  rival and  at the same time securing the third position with just I think a single point behind the first position which is Liverpool and currently sharing point with the second position,  PSG on the other hand has just a single draw and there has been some amazing performance for them like the 6 goal in a single game, currently they are sitting at the top of the ligue 1 table and at the same time sharing the same point with the second position.
Both team has been on form this season so on my side, I don't really know who's gonna win but I think there might likely be a draw or win from Arsenal since its their home...

Arsenal and PSG are top teams that are still weak to compete in the Champions League although indeed, I admit PSG is still very good and strong in Ligue 1 even without Mbappe. But in the Champions League, in my personal assessment PSG is still not strong enough to compete in the Champions League, so I can't expect too much from PSG. Also in fact, at this moment also if you consider from the available odds, it is clear that Arsenal are quite favored because after all, their current odds are @1.73 for Arsenal and @4.75 for PSG. With odds like that, then I think there is no good chance for PSG in this match and not only that, because I also believe this match might be boring with few goals.
Of course this will be a pretty good opportunity where PSG's odds look tempting even though it cannot be denied that Arsenal are favorites not without reason especially they play home in this match but with the strength of the players who are almost balanced actually being at PSG's odds in betting I think it is still quite reasonable because even though Arsenal are favorites but PSG's chance to win is also still very open in this match especially with some changes in the scheme and quality of cooperation in the attack that Enrique has made for PSG this season I think it is still very reasonable when we are at PSG in betting.

Moving away from the topic of matches it seems that for now the busy schedule is starting to be complained about by some players because it cannot be denied that with the new format in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League at this time, the stamina of the players is completely drained like a cash cow and this actually makes them vulnerable to injury.
Son also recently said that they are not robots because of the tight schedule every week and that actually seems reasonable.

Honestly for the new format although I am happy with the situation where the football schedule is quite tight but seeing them being forced to play all the time gives more concern for the physical condition of the players.

In many aspects, for now, Arsenal deserve to be the favorites.
I think it's not just about their ability to put up a tough fight against a team like Manchester City, but it must be admitted that Arsenal have indeed developed into a better team under Arteta. The only similarity between the two is that they don't have a sharp striker, but collectively, all the players in the squads of both teams have the ability to score goals with various variations.
I don't really place Arsenal as favorites in that match, but I agree that Arsenal has a good chance of winning in their home match. Arsenal must be able to take advantage of home advantage to win, but PSG is not an easy team to beat. There are many good players in Luis Enrique's squad who can also score goals and win matches, so both teams' chances of winning still have to be considered.

However the match ends, both of them still have a long journey (6 matches remaining) to reach the last 16.
That's right, they need to win it to increase their chances of qualifying for the last 16 automatically.

We can't talk about the experience as of now, PSG are currently having it on top of their league which automatically puts them on the level of being a competitive team to face in the Champions league but not forgetting that the League in which PSG plays cannot be strictly compared to the Premier league, since the EPL seems a lot more competitive i think we will be giving out the option directly for Arsenal to win or at worst a draw in my opinion.

Arsenal defense is already a hard wall to crack, not even PSG are qualified enough to break in easily, Manchester City tried and we all know how it ended if not for the red card then the result of that match must have ended in favor of Arsenal with a victory.
In many aspects, for now, Arsenal deserve to be the favorites.

In terms of experience, although both teams have never won a trophy, Arsenal and PSG have good bargaining power in the Champions League. That's what makes this match interesting, besides both are dominant teams in their respective domestic competitions.

Considering also the previous match when PSG played at home despite only playing against Girona, but PSG looked difficult to make goals, and only won with a score of 1-0 despite playing at home, and it was very boring because it only played against Girona which in fact, Girona has decreased performance this season. Likewise, Arsenal only drew 0-0 against Atalanta and thus, I personally don't have too high expectations of PSG and Arsenal, because they are still not strong enough in the Champions League.

Surely one of the most anticipated will be the fixture between PSG and Arsenal at the end of the second week of the UEFA Champions League. After impressively beating Girona in the first game, sure they will come to Emirates full of confidence, especially after Arsenal managed only a draw with Atalanta.

Even when the story is about PSG having done well in all competitions this season, that is not the story of their history against Arsenal. Amidst this, Arsenal has the major hosting hand which might seemingly apply in the match. PSG, after an opening win, might be better equipped now to battle through this one, but still would have to do so with extreme caution against a side like Arsenal, notching a good amount of experience in the Champions League. The upcoming match may well prove a very tough fight for both teams, as it will be big pain for PSG while approaching an encounter with current positive dynamics.
