I do agree that it is going to be very hard for many teams because this is way too many games and we are going to end up with a lot of injuries and even if not injured tired and barely running players if we keep this up. This is why I think it's clear that we are going to end up with some trouble.
I think it's clear that we are going to see this result in a lot of teams going against this idea, I am not really expecting that much of a change and I think it needs to be something that is taking a while for this to be a bigger deal. Everyone started to talk about it already, bigger teams are already discussing it, and I think we need to find a way to cut some games shorter, but financially they do need to play a lot to earn a lot.
But simultaneously all the players want to make at least €20 million a year. Now they are at a point where allegedly they want to boycott the game at some point, but I don't that is going to be the case. Maybe some high profile players go first, but if you are about to negotiate a contract and then raised your voice a while before, there is no way to to reach your salary goals as a player. Then they should say they are willing to cut their salaries in half and only play half the games anymore.
The whole industry is driven greed and that does especially apply to the players and players' agents. They all want more money and less game, but that's not how it works.
Teams like PSG and Manchester City are inflating salaries, Real Madrid same thing, and then all the players raise their requirements. It's a no-brainer. Then the associations take everyone hostage, but they can do that only because the players want more. That is how they justify it.
