The reason Mbappe left PSG was basically to win Champions League title. He did his best to win it at PSG but seems luck was never on the luck of PSG because I don't see anything that stopped them from winning it for several years that they assembled the best players in the world. There was a time they had Messi, Neymar, Mbappe and Di Maria in the same team yet they could not win it. Maybe Mbappe have realized that it may not be easy for PSG to win it, the reason he left for a team that have better records and chances of winning it. His decision to join Madrid have nothing to do with bad performance at PSG where he was almost worshipped.

PSG was not just lucky with winning the champions league, if not they had one of the best teams at the time they had Neymar, Messi and Mbappe all playing the same time. This is to say that, it is not always by the number of good players you have in your team but also by the strategy you use as a coach. I also thought they could have won the champions league in that season but they did not even make it as far to the semifinals of the competition. His decision to join Real Madrid maybe as a result of this and with all indications, he may get what he wants most in his career now, which is winning the champions league.

At the same time, they must be the only team to win this title 3 times in a row as well. It sounds really amazing to tell the truth. I'm jealous of Real Madrid fans.  Tongue  Now they are going for a back-to-back title.

What do you say? After not making the best start to the La Liga, do you expect them to go for the Champions League title anyway?

There is this level of confidence I always have in Real Madrid when they play in the Champions League, they’re always the best in the competition and always strive to be their best even though their performance in the domestic league is very poor. I also see them as a major contender of the champions league title, we may see another back to back title for them again.

So far, it seems that the court tends to recommend Mbappe to find an agreement with PSG, and it's an signal that Mbappe can not win this lawsuit if he continues.
Why Kylian Mbappe left his old club PSG is unknown to me. I tried searching for it but failed to find it. I was kind of shocked by his decision. Because there was a bright future for Kylian Mbappe at PSG which can be deduced from the old stats. If the future cannot be determined by looking at past statistics. I heard from various media that PSG club was not willing to let go of former World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe. Kylian Mbappe left PSG on his own, but the reason is unknown to me. Kylian Mbappe was having a good time at PSG, the fans loved and supported him a lot. His performance in PSG was also great. But as a team they did not perform very well, as a result they won other tournaments but never won the Champions Trophy. But did Kylian Mbappe cut ties with his old club PSG in pursuit of the Champions Trophy?

PSG's Luis Enrique is unlikely to win the Champions League, despite dominating the League. Mbappe's decision to leave the club is likely due to the lack of rewards and the possibility of not achieving his dream. Real Madrid offers him everything he needs as a footballer, including Messi, Neymar, and Di Maria, who have previously won the Champions League. Messi has already won everything in Barcelona, Neymar has won the UCL in Barcelona, and Di Maria has achieved everything in Real Madrid, leaving only Mbappe that doesn't get the trophy, and he do a nice job of moving to madrid this season. let see how the competition will end and they are starting the ucl next week, and am sure madrid game against Stuttgart will be winning game because Stuttgart doesn't have the capacity that real madrid have, let see if Madrid can win the ucl and the league this season again but he won't be a simple task for them.

Actually, we don't know what his main reason moving to Real Madrid. But there are 3 possible reasons:
1. Real Madrid is his dream team since he was a kid.
2. Real Madrid offers the chance to win UCL trophy.
3. Playing with Real Madrid will enhance the opportunity to be the best player in the world.

You're right. PSG never has a luck to win UCL trophy. Even with Messi-Neymar-Mbappe, PSG still couldn't win UCL trophy. I think it is about the quality of the coach, too. If PSG hired Guardiola at that time, I think PSG may already win UCL trophy. But the coach of PSG at that time, has no good experience in UCL competition. IMO, to win UCL trophy, a team should be managed by a coach with good experience in UCL.

~~~~~ but after many such rumours, it never happened.
Finally, this season he joined Real Madrid as a free agent from the French club. Despite his young age, he has achieved the glory of touching many major trophies for the national team as well as winning the FIFA World Cup Golden Boot once, but his Champions League dream is still alive.
You asked the question but you answered it yourself.
what do you mean by never happened?
I'm trying to understand your vocabulary, but it seems you're still mistaken. No need to rush my friend, to achieve every success and record there is a process to go through. After all, Mbappe hasn't even played a season with Real Madrid. So when you want to see everything go easily then there is no challenge. This is Mbappe first time in the Champions League with a different club with a higher chance than before with PSG who always failed to reach the final even though it was filled with star players.
So let Mbappe find his best game first with Madrid, because that's the only thing he needs now to succeed.
Obviously, there is still plenty of time and opportunity for Mbappe to get good results in the Champions League because after all, Mbappe has been in the right team with Real Madrid at least getting the Champions League trophy is very possible to happen. Although indeed, it still needs a process that cannot be considered easy but nevertheless, considering Mbappe's age which is also still young, then of course Mbappe still has plenty of opportunities and time to achieve the highest achievements in his career.
Although indeed, with this new format it also seems that there is no guarantee for Real Madrid to get success with certainty like in previous seasons. But after all, basically Real Madrid is still a team with an above average level and thus, of course they will still have a good chance to get good results too of course.
Many say Real Madrid is Kylian Mbappe's dream, that's why he left PSG and has been talking about leaving for a long time. But I want to say that winning dreams is not always a plan. When you are in a better position than what you want in your dreams, you don't want to change it. Sometimes the reality is better than the dream. I think reality was good for Kylian Mbappé. I think the only thing he lacked while at PSG was team achievement. Although he had good personal achievements, his team prevented him from achieving more.
Playing Champions League is the biggest dream for every player. I bet Kylian Mbappe would have stayed at PSG for a few more seasons if he had the opportunity to play in the Champions League at PSG. But even though PSG is strong as a team, I don't know why they are not able to achieve the ability to play in the Champions League. They tried a lot to play Champions League, they got many star players in their team to play Champions League but still the results did not come in their favor. They have star players like Neymar, Messi, Di Maria who have won the Champions title in their team but they have not tasted the Champions League. My question is, is there any force applied to the players from their club? That's why they can't perform to get a chance in the Champions League.
Despite having so many star players in the team, when PSG did not have a chance in the Champions League, Mbappe did not understand that PSG could not bring him a big achievement. Then his decision to change the party became more complicated. He later joined his dream club and Champions League winning side Real Madrid. Real Madrid is a well-known club in the Champions League and they are an experienced team in the Champions League. I think Real Madrid are capable of extending Mbappe's achievements. But after his arrival in Madrid, Real Madrid's performance is not very good. One thing must not be forgotten, the end of the Champions team is better than the beginning.
Thankfully many important names from the injury list are back at Real Madrid.  Smiley  Otherwise the Champions League might also have started more difficult for them. In the end there are only 4 days left to be underway.
As you all know, Real Madrid are the king around here. They have won the Champions League titles 15 times. There is a significant difference between them and the team behind them.
At the same time, they must be the only team to win this title 3 times in a row as well. It sounds really amazing to tell the truth. I'm jealous of Real Madrid fans.  Tongue  Now they are going for a back-to-back title.
Mbappé's move to Real Madrid has been rumored for a long time. It is still not clear to us why one of the best stars of the time, Kylian Mbappe, left his former club Paris Saint-Germain. We hear from many that he had the opportunity to win the Champions League while in Paris but failed to do so and joined Real Madrid to end that regret. Others have said that playing for Real Madrid was his dream for which he left Paris club PSG. Every transfer season we hear that Mbappe will leave PSG but after many such rumours, it never happened.
Soon, football fans' eyes will be spoiled by great players who will show their actions in the Champions League. Several teams have already built their squads even more solidly than before to face Europe's elite club competition and will have a very different look for the 2024-25 season.
In its predictions, The Opta supercomputer places Manchester City as the strongest candidate to win the Champions League trophy, while Real Madrid is placed in second place and in third place is Inter Milan. Meanwhile, Arsenal, Barcelona, Leverkusen, Liverpool and other elite clubs are next in line.
What do you think, will Manchester City win again after failing to defend the title last season or will Real Madrid return to glory in this elite competition. Then can other teams like Leverkusen, PSG, Arsenal, Barcelona and Liverpool provide a surprise this season?
Source: https://theanalyst.com/2024/09/champions-league-predictions-2024-25-opta-supercomputer
The Champions League with its new format allows us to see several big teams meet earlier in the league phase, so this will be a bit of an attraction before we might see big teams meet weak opponents in the knockout phase, considering the sorting system in the pot phase of the league is currently based on coefficient values and allows for many unbalanced matches later in the knockout phase between strong and weak teams happen.
Many big teams are still favorites to win the Champions League this season, such as Madrid and Manchester City, but to be honest, I don't believe the predictions made by the supercomputer even though the predictions are based on every data related to the clubs that currently exist and analyze it to find the chances of each club to win the Champions League this season, I think the Opta supercomputer does analyze a teamchances based on every fact and currently available data, but it seems  that the computer team forgotten that football is a sport that is difficult for even supercomputers to predict because of the surprise and luck factors that cannot be analyzed, Like last season, Opta also predicted that Manchester City to be champions league winners, but in fact Madrid and Dortmund which managed to reach the final, so should we believe this prediction?
That's good news. Militao is entering the squad against Sociedad. It means he passed a medical test to ensure he is fully recovered. It checks for any potential injuries. Madrid is still excluding Bellingham and Tchouameni from the squad.
In my opinion, Bellingham and Tchouameni have not passed the medical test. It was to ensure they fully recovered and were able to play. And once again, Real Madrid will play without a proper attacking midfielder. They need someone who can perfectly distribute the ball to their forwards.
Hopefully, we will see Bellingham back in the lineup in the upcoming week before their first game on UCL. This is because he will be playing a vital role to the club's attack. No bellingham, No party.
The latest update about Bellingham and Tchouameni is both players actually have fully recover and return to training but probably Ancelotti will not playing him while Real Madrid met Sociedad this weekend because Ancelotti don't want to take the risk by playing them in rush and because some of Real Madrid players has just playing defend their national teams then i will assume Ancelotti will do some rotation to Real Madrid squad
Real Madrid will do their first match in this competition against Stuttgart and i think there is a time for the players who just recover from the injured to restore their fitness conditions so although for Laliga match those players above most likely will be absense but potentially whether it Bellingham or Tchouameni will be available this Tuesday and Real Madrid has depth of squad because the quality between the main players and reserved players is not too far so if Tchouameni or Bellingham absense i think Real Madrid still can beat Stuttgart
There is good news for Real Madrid! Bellingham, Militao and Tchouameni are all recovered and soon ready to play.  Wink
https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1834288823599067280
This must be one of the best news Ancelotti must have got recently. Because you know, their defense was going to be in a problematic condition without a real CB as Carvajal was going to take Militao's place temporarily probably.  Sad  Bellingham's return is also very good for their attacking line. They need him in the Champions League as well. While there are only a few days left for the first matches, I'm curious what Ancelotti's strategies will be after these recoveries...
But did Kylian Mbappe cut ties with his old club PSG in pursuit of the Champions Trophy?
Kylian Mbappe did. It seemed to me he felt it's time for him to make a move to a club that would help him to pursue the Champions League trophy. He would never get it if he stayed there. And he did it right by moving to Real Madrid.
He has zero chance to win UCL on his old club. That's why he moved to Real Madrid. And he got his first trophy with Real Madrid on his debut.
Mbappe left PSG originally to win the Champions League title. In the last few seasons PSG tried their best to win the Champions League title. But in every season they failed. Despite spending a lot of money, PSG could not succeed. Mbappe has performed well every season, yet failed to win the Champions League title.
Mbappe came to Real Madrid to win the Champions League title. This club is the most experienced on the Champions League platform. And almost every season we see Champions League dominance by Real Madrid.
Real Madrid have not been able to get back into good form so far this season. Mbappe is yet to adapt to the team. At the same time many players in the squad have faced injuries. So it is slowly becoming more and more difficult for Madrid to do well in the Champions League this season.
Are you sure that Mbappe joined Real Madrid just because of the Champions League? If Mbappe wanted to join Real Madrid because of the champion League I don't think he would like to join the club as a free agent, Although some people said that Mbappe did not join as a free agent because there were some fees that Real Madrid paid but those fees are not mentioned, but from my point of view Mbappe just want to make history in Real Madrid just like the way his idol Christiano Ronaldo did, although he did not have a champion league in PSG and that make a lot of people think that he left the team and join Real Madrid because of champion league.
Some people are still think that Mbappe has been Real Madrid's problem since he joined the team because Real Madrid has not in good shape since the beginning of the league, Real Madrid always starts a season like that and at the end of the season they perform well, Mbappe will turn up for Real Madrid in La Liga and the champion league when the time comes and those who are criticism he will stop saying things that they are saying about him.
Toni Kroos did not leave Real Madrid but Real Madrid did not extend his contract. In the few matches that Toni Kroos hasn't been on the field, Real Madrid have seen a clear weakness in the midfield. Real Madrid's current situation Real Madrid's midfield will be weakened next season when Luka Modric leaves Real Madrid. Toni Kroos was Real Madrid's best performer and was the best player until the last match he played. Real Madrid could have extended his contract for another season or two if he wanted. Real Madrid may have planned to release Toni Kroos so that Jude Bellingham can play in place of Toni Kroos and Mbappe is in the striker position. But now the problem is with the injuries of some important players. If the injury problem is solved, maybe Real Madrid will return to the best performance.
Real Madrid's midfield will not continue to weaken this season and also next season because Real Madrid is a team that pays close attention to every important line to be strengthened by them by bringing in the best players they want. Currently, Real Madrid is indeed being hit by injuries to several important players, but this will not immediately have a bad impact on Real Madrid because the squad that Real Madrid currently has can still be considered strong even though several other players have not yet recovered from the injuries they have suffered.
Why Kylian Mbappe left his old club PSG is unknown to me. I tried searching for it but failed to find it. I was kind of shocked by his decision. Were you expecting Kylian Mbappe to remain in Paris Saint German forever? After all his contract with the club ended before he decided to leave as a free agent and besides he wanted to try a new club and that's actually what makes a player becomes more unique like moving to different club and still maintaining same level of performance and Real Madrid is a great club that most players wish to play for and due to the fact that Kylian Mbappe didn't win any champions league title with PSG were also some of the reasons why he moved out of the club to Real Madrid because Madrid have been very active in the champions league so he feels he can also win the trophy with Real Madrid. Mbappe moving out of PSG wasn't really because of the quest to win the champions league since he didn't disclose that was his reason for departing so just like I said he wanted to try new things with another club that's the reason why he joined Real Madrid.
Bellingham performed well last season. Perhaps this is why the Real Madrid management does not consider it necessary to keep Toni Kross with the squad by paying high wages. Toni Korss wants to end his career with Real Madrid. So he did not join any other club. But if the Real Madrid management had extended the contract with Kross, we might have seen Toni Kross stay with Madrid.
Toni Kroos didn't score many goals or assists. But Kross is a fantastic player. He played the most important role in stabilizing Madrid's midfield. And since Bellingham is not in the squad this season. So the weakness of Madrid's midfield is very well understood. Toni Kroos was what Madrid needed right now. However, if Bellingham returns from injury it looks like we could see a stable Madrid midfield.
I don't think it was a problem for Real Madrid to pay Kroos' salary. Now that he has retired they have much more to worry about who will fill that position. Kroos decided to retire because he felt it was difficult for him to continue playing at a high level. Real Madrid will need some time to learn to play without him.
Fonseca needs to pay attention to the defensive game because most of the problems come from Milan conceding too many goals. Against Liverpool this problem could be especially noticeable because Liverpool is an attacking team and they will look for weak spots in Milan's attack. Liverpool has been a very difficult opponent for Milan in recent years, I think Liverpool will dominate in this match too.
The love from Paris saint Germain was there for kylian Mbappé that's for sure, but then the young man just wanted to seek for a greener pastures somewhere else, he wants to win the champions league, he wants to win the ballon d'Or, he wants to conquer Europe and we both know PSG is not that club that will avail him with such opportunities unlike Real Madrid, a club that have the pedigree to obscale him to that envious height that he wants to achieve as a football player. Kylian mbappé's move to Madrid was just on his personal decision to make that move, because I heard he even took a pay cut to have come to Madrid.
It is not only because Bellingham played well in the previous season but Real Madrid has many good midfielders as well. It is impossible to replace Kroos with another player who has the same play style, Ancelotti only has some options that can replace the role of Kroos in the midfield line. When Kroos decided to retire, surely Real Madrid lost a very crucial player. However, Ancelotti must find out the solution to deal with the lose of Kroos. With the current midfilders, Ancelotti should be capable to deal with this problem.
Toni Kroos didn't score many goals or assists. But Kross is a fantastic player. He played the most important role in stabilizing Madrid's midfield. And since Bellingham is not in the squad this season. So the weakness of Madrid's midfield is very well understood. Toni Kroos was what Madrid needed right now. However, if Bellingham returns from injury it looks like we could see a stable Madrid midfield.
It is true that Kroos didn't score many goals, but he made a lot of assists. Kroos also has a crucial role in the midfield line, whether in defending and in attacking. Sure, he has the capability to stabilize the midfield line of Real Madrid. It is very rare to have a player like Toni Kroos. I'm not sure if Bellingham can replace totally the role of Toni Kroos. In the previous season, Bellingham tends to play as an attacker. He isn't a typical player who functions as a team balancer in the midfield line. I prefer Valverde or Camavinga, to replace the role of Toni Kroos.
