I think Mbappé is a player who is open to innovation. I don't think I need to say that he is also very talented. Ancelotti can turn him into very good positions. He can give him new positions. Just like Bellingham. Jude Bellingham has adapted very well to the number 10 position. Mbappé can experience something similar
I also have no doubts about Ancelotti's ability to change some players' positions into unusual lines and that has indeed happened to several players before at Real Madrid and it is possible that it could happen again to Mbappé. This season, Real Madrid actually has a fairly complete squad and is also very capable of competing in every competition, but for now, several players from Real Madrid are undergoing their recovery period, such as Jude Bellingham who is still recovering from an injury.

Without Mbappe in the squad last season, Madrid was still able to win the Champions League and La Liga, so the presence of Mbappe in the current squad will of course have a positive impact on Madrid game in the future, although he managed to score two goals in La Liga, but according to I think Mbappe is still not at his best as a goalscorer so far, so Madrid can't expect much from Mbappe at the moment, Ancelotti has a lot of very good forward players currently in his squad, so this really requires wisdom in placing the position of the front players that they  have in order to maintain unity and consistency in scoring goals, I think the role that Mbappe had while playing at PSG previously could be a reference for Ancelotti to be able to maximize Mbappe current abilities.
It's true Real Madrid was still able to win Champions League and La Liga without Mbappe, but they still have Kroos and Nacho.

Real Madrid have Mbappe, but they lose Kroos and Nacho, is Real Madrid become better? nope, Kroos is Real Madrid's play maker, losing him give really a big impact to the performance.

Now Modric is replacing Kroos's position, he's not as good as Kroos, but he still decent. In the next year Modric high likely will retire, it's really a big problem for Real Madrid.
It will only be a big problem for Real Madrid this season and no more because Ancelotti and Real Madrid management have seen the vaccum that Kross left cannot be refilled by the players on ground unless they buy a new midfielder which i believe Ancelotti knows the right player he will buy.

This is the reason why key players are very important to a club, imagine with all the beautiful strikers Real Madrid has and players without Kross,, they are finding it difficult this season. This season will be a big challenge to Real Madrid in all competitions but who knows if Real Madrid is planning to buy a midfielder by January when transfer window opens.

I agree with you. Real Madrid performed well last season. Real Madrid team won two important titles of La Liga and Champions League. Each of Madrid's players performed well in their respective positions last season. The squad had two key players like Nacho and Toni Kross. And thanks to Kross' excellent performance, Madrid's midfield was stable.

Both Vini and Bellingham performed well last season. These two players scored a lot of goals. But this season, Madrid have a talented player like Mbappe in their squad. But so far we haven't seen a good performance from Mbappe. Whether he will be successful with this team is yet to be said for sure. If Mbappe doesn't perform well, Madrid's performance this season will be erratic.

Modrich was a very talented player. But at the moment it is not possible to keep him in the starting XI of Madrid Luka Modrich is now 39 years old. It is very difficult for a player of his age to last 90 minutes on the field. So Madrid do not yet have a suitable replacement for Kross. But since Ancelotti is an experienced coach, maybe Madrid can stabilize their midfield with Ancelotti's help.

Now the important thing is what Real Madrid will do with Mbappe as of now. He started badly in a couple of games but later scored multiples goals in one game. Hopefully he will adapt fully without taking too much time.
The problem they are going to have in that team is positioning, we all know the Mbappe is more comfortable when he plays on the left side of attack, rather than in the middle, he is definitely not a striker. Now in Real Madrid, Vini Jr plays from the left, and IMO, he is the best player in the world in that LWF position, so that leaves Mbappe coming from the middle. I don't think Mbappe would flourish from the middle and if he does not, with time there could be disagreements which might affect the team.

Temporary odds favor Manchester City over Real Madrid even though last season Real Madrid won the Champions League title but only a small difference because they have been favorites in the Champions League in recent seasons, early performances in their respective domestic leagues Manchester City performed better than Real Madrid so it is natural that Man City has lower odds than Real Madrid but the odds will change in each match and we also do not know like what Real Madrid's strength is in the Champions League this season usually they will do everything to be the strongest in the Champions League.

You know the season just started; it will be too early to talk about the team that will get the title or even judge the team that will get the title by the odds. We are still yet to know anything about this team’s performance; we only see their performance in other leagues and not the Champions League. As the season moves, the odds will be changing, so let’s wait and see how their performance goes, although Real Madrid is still going to fight for the Champions League title this season.

Both Real Madrid and Manchester City are strong and they will continue be rated as  very top candidates for Champions League crown in this season. If they won't, by destiny, have a direct knock-out meeting, they are able to meet in the final match. In this summer, they have some changes in their squads with players in and out, and these changes can affect their squad quality, competitiveness and performances too.

I believe both of them will go far in Champions League this season but who will become a champion at the end, it's too early to say or make prediction.

Exactly. Both are strong; they both have a high chance of getting the title at the end, but we don’t know who among them will win it. Moreover, the season is just starting, and the best thing is to keep our eye on these two teams, and they are the favourites this season. Although I know Manchester City will want to do everything to get there, Real Madrid will be challenging for them.

If asked why Mbappe left PSG even though he was successful at PSG and his salary was also high. Of course this is an easy answer because Mbappe wants to win the Champions League!
Mbappe has achieved everything during his time at PSG, he has also won the World Cup with his country. The Champions League trophy is the only thing that is difficult to win with PSG, so he chose to leave all the luxuries that PSG offers including a high salary to get something that has never been won so far.

In addition, Mbappe is still very young and talented. Mbappe was also born in Paris, he has defended PSG for seven seasons. In Ligue 1 he has won everything several times. He also almost brought the Champions League trophy to Paris for the first time, but unfortunately they lost to Bayern Munich in the final. He has done everything for PSG to win the Champions League but has not paid off. At the international level, he managed to win the World Cup with France in 2018.
Moving to Real Madrid would allow him to develop faster because the level of popularity and competition in La Liga is better than Ligue 1, he also has a great chance of winning the Champions League with Real Madrid. Now that Mbappe has turned the page on his career, he can realise his dreams during his time at Real Madrid, including lifting the Champions League trophy and winning the Ballon D'or.

Odds at early of season can be different with odds in later months of season. The season in Champions League only begins and with its new format, many things can be changed after a long first phase, that is longer than a group phase with previous format.

Every year Real Madrid has a high chance of winning, because it is a strong team that dominates the Spanish league in some ways.
So no one is surprised if you put them among the favorites, in fact we could say that it is quite obvious and predictable from a certain point of view.

Real Madrid has enjoyed the crown as the most favourite in the champions league every season because their experience and how much value they place the competition as they can be performing poorly in the league but when it comes to the champions league they always play with their all to ensure they get the best result no matter their opponent. It is not bad if Real Madrid is placed every season as the favourite to win in the champions league but seeing that City is favored in odd this season I think the performance of Real Madrid has been affected due to their poor starting rate this season but they should be respected because they are going to do that they can to achieve the trophy once again.

Of course, Madrid is going to have more problems on their hands if they can't manage to resolve their team issues now it's this early. And yes, again, Mbappe's move means that there's plenty of expectations of him and the entire team as well. There is undue pressure for him to deliver some of his best performance(s) this early — including a couple of folks here on this thread who immediately said Real Madrid would win the UCL simply because they did it before even signing Mbappe so their thesis is that, it should be way more easier with Mbappe now in the team.

Bayern + Liverpool + City + Leverkusen (and probably Inter) are teams that could excel this season.
Well I witness the early specu. from our folks  Cheesy  and I remember quoting  some that it's too early to decide just because they had a win over Atalanta, adding to their collection at the  beginning of the season,Atalanta wasn't on form right before they even played the and even if they were they can't still win them(Atalanta can't win realmadrid)I think.
Thus at the moment , it seem they are having injury issue which we can all confirm, though I still doubt them getting through to the Finals this season but let's see how it goes after the injury players returns maybe things will change then but for now their performance is not even gonna get them through to the knockout stage  Tongue tbh...

So who's on my list to win it? Can't say but there are good options especially teams like City and probably Bayern or Leverkusen + Liverpool.

My wish to Mbappe is Good Luck, I hope he didn't  just make a right move at the wrong time because the three straight performance is out of it and fans keep demanding very high expectations from him which is why it's seems like he isn't doing enough, though his performance also dropped generally before he even made a move to RM.
At the same time I will support your specu... if they continue like this they might not even make it through the group stage and even if they do, they just gonna get knocked out  at the next stage, imo I still think Beryern is gonna perform better this time around or we could just get surprised with the new format.

I can also say Real Madrid have a better chance of winning the Champions League but this is just a speculation. It is very possible that Real Madrid might not win the Champions League because we need to wait to see some matches played before the speculation can be more accurate. I am surprised that Manchester City is given a lower odd to Real Madrid. The odd will although be constantly changing.

AC Milan Vs Liverpool will kick-off on Tue, but the biggest game of the first round of the new league stage will take place on Wed.
Inter is coming to Manchester to take on Man City. Champions of England Vs Champions of Italy - it doesn't get any better than that.
Inter won Serie A last season with a whopping 19 points advantage over AC Milan and made it to the round of 16 in the Chamions League (unexpectedly losing to Atletico on penalties), but bookies don't give them much chances of winning:

Man City very rarely loses at home, so 1 point is probably the most that Inter can hope for.
Wednesday game will be the biggest game because the both clubs are the champions of their domestic league last season. This is the clash of champions from Italy and England. There is a say in my country that when two elephants are fighting, it is the grass that suffers it.

On the other hand, I believe that Manchester city will be able to win Inter because the last time they met was last two seasons finals and City won the match, which gave them their first UCL title in history. Inter didn't go far last season because Atletico Madrid win them in the quarter finals. Let's see what they gat this season.

The Champions League is starting next week, I just saw it.
The first big match is Milan - Liverpool, I will definitely watch this match, it will be a nice and enjoyable match.
The next day is the M.City - Inter match, this match is definitely worth watching.
I really can't wait for the Champions League matches, after the league matches are over we will continue the entertainment with the Champions League so this can't be missed.

In round 1/8 there are many interesting matches big clubs meet equal - well we are waiting for Milan vs Liverpool and Man City vs Inter Milan although we already know the greatness of Man City before but Inter Milan has a fierce resistance.

There are also many other interesting matches, although the fixtures are at the same time we will see the more interesting ones.
Champions league is always in interesting,  Milan vs Liverpool will definitely going to be interesting because the both teams have interesting players but I can't tell which team will be the favorite to win the game.

When it comes to champions league Manchester City don't joke with it, I know Inter Milan is another difficult team but Manchester City stand a very good chance of winning the game. Manchester City have been very consistent in their performance for several seasons in champions league,  their is no doubt the team will continue the good performance even in this  season.

Why Kylian Mbappe left his old club PSG is unknown to me. I tried searching for it but failed to find it. I was kind of shocked by his decision. Because there was a bright future for Kylian Mbappe at PSG which can be deduced from the old stats. If the future cannot be determined by looking at past statistics. I heard from various media that PSG club was not willing to let go of former World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe. Kylian Mbappe left PSG on his own, but the reason is unknown to me. Kylian Mbappe was having a good time at PSG, the fans loved and supported him a lot. His performance in PSG was also great. But as a team they did not perform very well, as a result they won other tournaments but never won the Champions Trophy. But did Kylian Mbappe cut ties with his old club PSG in pursuit of the Champions Trophy?
The reason Mbappe left PSG was basically to win Champions League title. He did his best to win it at PSG but seems luck was never on the luck of PSG because I don't see anything that stopped them from winning it for several years that they assembled the best players in the world. There was a time they had Messi, Neymar, Mbappe and Di Maria in the same team yet they could not win it. Maybe Mbappe have realized that it may not be easy for PSG to win it, the reason he left for a team that have better records and chances of winning it. His decision to join Madrid have nothing to do with bad performance at PSG where he was almost worshipped.
If asked why Mbappe left PSG even though he was successful at PSG and his salary was also high. Of course this is an easy answer because Mbappe wants to win the Champions League!

He has done everything for PSG to win the Champions League but has not paid off. At the international level, he managed to win the World Cup with France in 2018.

That's why he was so adamant about leaving PSG and moving to Real Madrid because besides wanting to win the Champions League trophy he also wanted individual awards, Mbappe also wanted to win the Ballon d'Or more than once. If he was still at PSG it would be difficult to get all that.

Why are still discussing Mbappe's departure? He has already joined Real Madrid and he is happy. PSG is also happy seemingly as they have started to perform better than ever. End of story!  Wink

Now the important thing is what Real Madrid will do with Mbappe as of now. He started badly in a couple of games but later scored multiples goals in one game. Hopefully he will adapt fully without taking too much time.

If Ancelotti maintains the teamwork strong then no problem. With players such as Mbappe, Vini Jr., Bellingham and more they can surely go for a back-to-back CL trophy.

Mbappé's move to Real Madrid has been rumored for a long time. It is still not clear to us why one of the best stars of the time, Kylian Mbappe, left his former club Paris Saint-Germain. We hear from many that he had the opportunity to win the Champions League while in Paris but failed to do so and joined Real Madrid to end that regret. Others have said that playing for Real Madrid was his dream for which he left Paris club PSG. Every transfer season we hear that Mbappe will leave PSG but after many such rumours, it never happened.

Finally, this season he joined Real Madrid as a free agent from the French club. Despite his young age, he has achieved the glory of touching many major trophies for the national team as well as winning the FIFA World Cup Golden Boot once, but his Champions League dream is still alive.

Mbappe's decision to leave PSG is based on his own personal interest but that not withstanding at least he has done very well for PSG and helped them win the Ligue 1 title on several occasions so he has already had the dream of playing for Real Madrid but PSG were the ones that upholded him for a long time if not he would have joined Real Madrid earlier than he did and we should not be questioning his decision to move to Real Madrid because he never moved out of PSG because of any pressure, it was after the expiry of his contract with the club which also shows that Mbappe has strong love for PSG. The only difference between his move to Real Madrid than when he was playing for PSG is that he can have the opportunity of winning the Champions League with Real Madrid sooner than if he had decided to stay back at PSG
