There is good news for Real Madrid! Bellingham, Militao and Tchouameni are all recovered and soon ready to play.  Wink

This must be one of the best news Ancelotti must have got recently. Because you know, their defense was going to be in a problematic condition without a real CB as Carvajal was going to take Militao's place temporarily probably.  Sad  Bellingham's return is also very good for their attacking line. They need him in the Champions League as well. While there are only a few days left for the first matches, I'm curious what Ancelotti's strategies will be after these recoveries...
About one week for international matches, is very helpful for injured players to come back and with Real Madrid, it's very helpful for them in period with so many injured players. These players are back but will not be ready for matches soon but at least it is good news for Real Madrid.

Ancelotti is an experienced player and know how to slowly reuse these players who only returns from injuries. He know importance of a long season in comparison with next several matches and he will only use these players when they are ready, but with increasing intensity with time. Increasing intensity from training sessions first, then actual matches, match by match will help these players return with less risk of injuries again.

Toni Kroos did not leave Real Madrid but Real Madrid did not extend his contract. In the few matches that Toni Kroos hasn't been on the field, Real Madrid have seen a clear weakness in the midfield. Real Madrid's current situation Real Madrid's midfield will be weakened next season when Luka Modric leaves Real Madrid. Toni Kroos was Real Madrid's best performer and was the best player until the last match he played. Real Madrid could have extended his contract for another season or two if he wanted. Real Madrid may have planned to release Toni Kroos so that Jude Bellingham can play in place of Toni Kroos and Mbappe is in the striker position. But now the problem is with the injuries of some important players. If the injury problem is solved, maybe Real Madrid will return to the best performance.

Bellingham performed well last season. Perhaps this is why the Real Madrid management does not consider it necessary to keep Toni Kross with the squad by paying high wages. Toni Korss wants to end his career with Real Madrid. So he did not join any other club. But if the Real Madrid management had extended the contract with Kross, we might have seen Toni Kross stay with Madrid.

Toni Kroos didn't score many goals or assists. But Kross is a fantastic player. He played the most important role in stabilizing Madrid's midfield. And since Bellingham is not in the squad this season. So the weakness of Madrid's midfield is very well understood. Toni Kroos was what Madrid needed right now. However, if Bellingham returns from injury it looks like we could see a stable Madrid midfield.

Although I'd say Liverpool is more likely to win, if I had to bet I would probably go for a double-chance bet on Milan or a draw. Milan was off to a bad start to the league season, but there's a chance they'll wake up on time. They're not a bad team overall. For what it's worth, they defeated Real Madrid, Barcelona and Man City in the pre-season friendlies.
It's worth to wait on how they perform against Venezia this weekend, they're a big favourite, so it'll be a good chance for them to unblock.
Betting on double chance is the safest option with odds @1.9, it is very equivalent to the risk you take. It might make sense to choose this option because Milan playing at home gives a more prepared mentality to face the challenge against Liverpool. But on the one hand Liverpool is also one of the experienced teams that is always ready to face the challenge even though they have to play away. And Liverpool also beat Milan more often in matches a few seasons ago in the UCL.
I might choose a single bet on this match because Milan vs Liverpool is a very interesting match but a little difficult to predict.
Which is even more difficult because we are still questioning whether AC Milan will recover quickly or not, because if they can recover quickly, then their chances of winning the match are greater, but if they cannot recover quickly, then they will most likely lose in this tight match. As we know Liverpool can start the league well, even though they are with a new coach, but they can immediately show a good game, so this will be a very good capital for them. I myself hope that AC Milan can recover quickly, because that will make the match even more interesting. We will see that in the match against Venezia, because that will be the last match before they play the Champions League match against Liverpool.

Why Kylian Mbappe left his old club PSG is unknown to me.
Do you only know about football and Mbappe today or recent months?

The player had many drama in PSG and in several latest seasons, many times he shown his intention and told it publicly on media that he wanted to join Real Madrid, because it is a favorite club in his heart since he was a child.

Quote
I tried searching for it but failed to find it.
You did not search enough.

Quote
I was kind of shocked by his decision.
Not shock at all if he wanted to leave PSG for years and eventually he did.

Quote
Because there was a bright future for Kylian Mbappe at PSG which can be deduced from the old stats.
PSG gives him a bright future many years ago when he was about 17 or 18 years old with a transfer from AS Monaco to PSG, but when he already became a world class player, he saw no bright future with PSG, and he found it at Real Madrid where he wanted to move to.

The number of competitions that Madrid has to play certainly forces them to be able to rotate players well, as a big team and handled by experienced coach, of course they don't want to lose a single trophy from the competition they participate in ,so I think all competitions will certainly be played seriously and not just La Liga and the Champions League, see the number of injured players at the moment, Madrid journey may be a little difficult, but that doesn't mean they won't focus on all of these competitions, because we know how Madrid and Ancelotti have had great ambitions to win every trophy so far.
The player injuries experienced by Real Madrid at this time could indeed be an obstacle for Real Madrid to perform well in every match, but I also believe in the level of consistency of the current Real Madrid team. Because Real Madrid's mentality in the Champions League is always very big and Ancelotti himself certainly knows what to do and give his best for the team with the current conditions even though one of them is having to be smart enough in rotating players when the match schedule looks quite close for several competitions.
Real Madrid team has been plagued by multiple injuries yet how they come back in a big way at the crucial time of the season. Karim Benzema left Real Madrid a few seasons ago and when the striker played for Real Madrid he was the only striker for Real Madrid. But after the departure of Karim Benzema, Real Madrid have not recruited any players to their club even though they have tried to bring Mbappe into the team. Mbappe officially joined Real Madrid in 2024, but since Benzema's departure to Mbappe's arrival at the club, Real Madrid have played without a main striker. Jude Bellingholm was bought by Real Madrid as a midfielder but the player played in the finishing position due to the lack of a main finisher. So even if there are injury problems, I don't think Real Madrid will fail to do well because of these problems.
You have summarized the process, but even if there is an injury, I think Real Madrid can produce many alternatives for Mbappe. Although Joselu did not play very efficiently last year, they got extra performance with Bellingham. We can see similar things this year. Ancelotti can pull a rabbit out of the hat again. He is a very successful coach in training players for other positions. I am sure he has also planned for Mbappe's absence.
Toni Kroos did not leave Real Madrid but Real Madrid did not extend his contract. In the few matches that Toni Kroos hasn't been on the field, Real Madrid have seen a clear weakness in the midfield. I don't see Atalanta going far in UCL even though they are the winner of Europa cup last season because with their current performance they stand no chance of survival. It will be good to see Atalanta back go their best form.
Atalanta have also started this season poorly, they lost to Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup and out of three games played in the Italian Seria A thus far this season, they have won just one and lost two, losing 4-0 to Inter Milan a few weeks ago. There is definitely no chance for Atalanta to go far in the champions league this season, particularly with this new CL league phase format that is much more competitive.
Regarding the match between Atalanta vs Real Madrid, I am not surprised if Atalanta loses to Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup because Real Madrid is superior in any case. I don't expect much from Atalanta in the Champions League competition, being able to advance to the last 16 is already a good result, but Atalanta has to overcome many difficult obstacles facing other strong clubs and the strength of these clubs is different from the clubs that Atalanta faced last season in the Europa League.

And in the first match later, Atalanta will face one of the strong clubs in the Premier League, Arsenal, last season they were able to eliminate Liverpool in the Europa League but it seems that this season is different, Atalanta's performance tends to decline.
For the odds, Atalanta is not too favored by bookies even though they are playing at home.

But did Kylian Mbappe cut ties with his old club PSG in pursuit of the Champions Trophy?
Kylian Mbappe did. It seemed to me he felt it's time for him to make a move to a club that would help him to pursue the Champions League trophy. He would never get it if he stayed there. And he did it right by moving to Real Madrid.
He has zero chance to win UCL on his old club. That's why he moved to Real Madrid. And he got his first trophy with Real Madrid on his debut.

Mbappe left PSG originally to win the Champions League title. In the last few seasons PSG tried their best to win the Champions League title. But in every season they failed. Despite spending a lot of money, PSG could not succeed. Mbappe has performed well every season, yet failed to win the Champions League title.

Mbappe came to Real Madrid to win the Champions League title. This club is the most experienced on the Champions League platform. And almost every season we see Champions League dominance by Real Madrid.

Real Madrid have not been able to get back into good form so far this season. Mbappe is yet to adapt to the team. At the same time many players in the squad have faced injuries. So it is slowly becoming more and more difficult for Madrid to do well in the Champions League this season.

So far, it seems that the court tends to recommend Mbappe to find an agreement with PSG, and it's an signal that Mbappe can not win this lawsuit if he continues.

Because there was a bright future for Kylian Mbappe at PSG which can be deduced from the old stats. If the future cannot be determined by looking at past statistics. I heard from various media that PSG club was not willing to let go of former World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe. Kylian Mbappe left PSG on his own, but the reason is unknown to me. Kylian Mbappe was having a good time at PSG, the fans loved and supported him a lot. His performance in PSG was also great. But as a team they did not perform very well, as a result they won other tournaments but never won the Champions Trophy.

It needs a very long time just to explain how Mbappé decided to leave PSG instead of staying there. The simple reason is that he demands a new challenge in the new league. He gets bored staying at PSG, and he decides to join Real Madrid.

Also, his move to Real Madrid helped his career. It allowed him to pursue bigger goals than at PSG.

Mbappe was not happy in PSG recent seasons and PSG gave him good offers and promises, together with contracts, to keep him in their club season by season. At the end, their working relationship broke and Mbappe moved to Real Madrid as a free agent while PSG got no money from a transfer of one of brightest and most valuable super star players. They had many reasons to feel disappointed about it but about a contract between Mbappe and PSG, only their lawyers have enough information to say what party is wrong and will fail in the court.

Paris Saint-Germain missed heavily out on one of the world's current best players in the European football. Mbappe have been banging goals for Paris Saint-Germain with accolades received in full. Mbappe was seen as a demi-god in Paris following his consistent stellar performance in league games for PSG, he's always playing like a professional and he do delivers when all hope relied on him. Consequently following up the current case filed against PSG,  that's not relevant simply because PSG failed woefully to keep part of contract with Kylian Mbappe. We totally get it now that Kylian Mbappe is not in good terms with his former club after broken relationships with the board following his shocking move to Real Madrid. Did the Frenchman made a good choice to exits Parc des Princes stadium?

He also has an ongoing legal battle with PSG over his wages. I don't think it affects his performance on the field for Madrid though, whether they are playing in the Champions League or not. I took a quick look at his stats and it seems like the number is more or less the same over the least 3-4 seasons, so I'm not sure if his form is getting worse or we're over-scrutinizing him because he made a big move to Madrid. Granted he moves to a different league with different opponents, so it's hard to conclude anything from the numbers. I'm pretty sure he wants to win the UCL though, whether that hinders his goalscoring ability or not is unknown for now.

My wish to Mbappe is Good Luck, I hope he didn't  just make a right move at the wrong time because the three straight performance is out of it and fans keep demanding very high expectations from him which is why it's seems like he isn't doing enough, though his performance also dropped generally before he even made a move to RM.

It may or may not  be. Mbappe haven't won the Champions league despite how far he has come in his career so winning their UCL with his dream club, Madrid will be on top of his priority list for this 2024/2025 season. But unlike everyone else that have rushed to conclude that Madrid would win, I think they wouldn't and will be knocked out in one of the knockout stages — my bias will remain this way unless Madrid's performance turns around in the near future because right now, it ain't shit.

So who's on my list to win it? Can't say but there are good options especially teams like City and probably Bayern or Leverkusen + Liverpool.

At the same time I will support your specu... if they continue like this they might not even make it through the group stage and even if they do, they just gonna get knocked out  at the next stage, imo I still think Beryern is gonna perform better this time around or we could just get surprised with the new format.

Real Madrid team did not just get to the top of the Champions League competition last season they defeated Dortmund to win the competition last season but coming to this seasons Champions League competition, it is still very early to know if they are going to be the favorite in the champions League because right now they are still trying to make their new signing Mbappe to adapt to his position in the team as they are still trying to get use to the current formation of the team.

The extensive squad has been strengthened since Mbappe joined the team this new season. But this season, Mbappe is not yet ready to go to the right performance because he has to adapt more. He has been performing with the Real Madrid team for only a few days, winning most of the few matches he has played. So I think the trophy will be in favor of Real Madrid team in this new season, because I don't support any other team as strong as Real Madrid team. Manchester City they are preparing to beat Real Madrid team, so Real Madrid team is full of most experienced players in attacking department.

There are so many other clubs aside Real Madrid who is ready to defeat Real Madrid this time, teams like Manchester City are also warming up for the tournament I don't think the trophy is going to Spain this season.

This new season's trophy will be in the hands of the Real Madrid team, because they will not get the chance in Spain this time. Spain took the trophy last season, no other team could keep the trophy from Spain no matter how hard they tried. So this time no other team will have any chance to take this club with Real Madrid team.

Inter Milan isn't going to be an easy opponent side for Manchester City in this clash , yes Manchester seem better, but if we consider Inter Milans performance last season at Italian serie A league side , you'll get to know that this is going to be a 50/50 chance kind of game which will be open for hoth side , will be a game of who utilizes they vey best opportunity to score.

I would really like Inter Milan to beat them because City is one of the best teams in the PL, although in the UCL it is a different story, personally I support the Italian team, I think City is a great team but I'm not a fan of that team, Pep has always been in teams that I haven't liked, for example Barcelona, lol, it's something I don't know why he always goes to the opposite clubs of mine, that's why I'm also rooting for Inter, besides I would like to see how far they could go this time, in Serie A I think they can win again.

For this upcoming season, who knows whether Real Madrid might find themselves lucky to repeat the same thing since they have Mbappe to strengthen the team formation.

Real Madrid has gotten to the top of this tournament last season and they will love to take the trophy once more. I also think they were deliberate about the bringing of Mbappé who will work hard to deliver his dream club. Remember, Real Madrid is still have Ancelotti as its coach and are not ready to relinquish him anytime within the season and I don't think Ancelotti is also interested in leading the club some more times since he understood the squad and knows how well to bring trophies home. This is also a real challenge to other A-list clubs so we can measure their performances side by side.

They performed well last season but it is natural that they are more excited this season. This time Mbappe has been added to the Real Madrid team squad, and the attacking department has been greatly strengthened. So at any moment Real Madrid players can attack fiercely, especially now with any team they are ready to compete with. Their attacking thinking is different as Ancelotti develops these strategies, and he is a very experienced coach.
Therefore, he can easily create the idea of how to succeed if he attacks the opposite team, that's why he has been the coach of Real Madrid for a long time.
