Some teams play with a different motivation in some tournaments or in some special matches. Real Madrid always prepares for the Champions League with more motivation. We see this every season. I think the competition in La Liga is not enough for them. They always want to play against better teams, so they prepare for the Champions League with a different motivation. Even when they have bad results in La Liga, they can still get good results in the Champions League. They have a very good squad this season. Arda, Brahim, Bellingham, Mbappe and Vinicius Junior are a nightmare for any team. They will be the biggest favorites for this trophy this year as well.
Real Madrid's motivation and mentality in the Champions League are indeed unquestionable, they are always unique even though they do not record good results in the domestic league, but when competing in the Champions League their strengths are different, this often happens in previous seasons, maybe this is what is called a team that has Champions League DNA. However, this season Real Madrid seems to have a little difficulty fighting in the domestic league and the Champions League, not because their squad is not good enough, but because of the many injured players. All teams this season have a fairly tight schedule with additional matches due to the new format of the Champions League.

Right now I see news that there are some injured players such as Jacobo Ramón (muscle injury, out for two weeks), Militao (thigh muscle injury, out for 10-15 days), Bellingham (muscle injury, back in late September), Camavinga (knee injury, back in early October), Tchouaméni (metatarsal injury, back after international break), Mendy (overload, back after international break), Ceballos (grade 3 sprain with ligament damage in the right ankle, back in November), Joan Martinez (ACL, out for 8-9 months) and Alaba (ACL recovery, back in October). Injuries are something that all teams are worried about including Real Madrid, especially we know that Real Madrid's squad does not have enough cover especially in the defensive line. So I think even though Real Madrid are favorites in the Champions League, their journey will not be smooth.

Too early to decide that Real Madrid will be the winners of the Champions League, but statistics speak for the point made, and I get why so many people would like to already declare this. Real Madrid has been unreal in the past few seasons in the most prestigious European tournament, and they can back all their supporters with mind-boggling performances.

They also strengthened their squad, and don't really have massive lackings either. They just need a bit more fine-tuning, which can sort them out just right. Their start to the season was a bit slow, we've seen how the chemistry between the attackers are not sorted perfectly, they are struggling to link up, which can happen between star players.

Now comes the harder part of the season when UCL starts, because this year it's a bit different, there are more games, and it's harder to cope up with all the league matches also going on at the same time. Real Madrid is different breed in UCL tho, so it should be fun.

IMO, in terms of play, Manchester City is almost always consistent when playing in the UCL. If we flashback to the quarter-finals when these two teams met last season, in the two meetings Man City always dominated and controlled the course of the match. Unfortunately, at that time City had to be eliminated. This season City is still a strong team, they are one of the potential challengers in this competition to win the championship trophy. Same as Real Madrid, which has a very competitive team. It's just that Don Carlo did not strengthen the depth of his defenders. Personally, their defense can have an impact when meeting a strong opponent. So is Real Madrid's midfielder, although in terms of players they are great midfielders. However, without Kroos for now it has quite an impact even though Madrid will be able to condition him. If I have to try to speculate based on personal assumptions, especially if these two teams are brought together again, whether it's in a crucial round phase. For now, I still say that Man City will be more dominant and control the course of the match when they meet Madrid. However, no matter which team wins, it is worth watching because it will definitely be exciting.  By the way, the competition hasn't even started yet and let's wait and see.

some motivation might be selfish but even doh as far as the club is gaining they should continue with whatever is motivating them, the surprising aspect of Real Madrid was the fact that they are always getting to the finals no matter how bad their performance can be in the champions league, they always know how to do their magic and even manchester united could not catch up to real madrid when it comes to the champions league, and even if manchester united have qualified for the finals last season they still would have been able to defeat real Madrid, because they are always very consistent with the champions league very consistent, and they prefer to have a bad result in their domestic league than lose the champions league title there was a period they focused on winning and lost both league and the city bagged the champions league.

And even when people are hasty and want Mbappe to work his magic they should allow him to boot the moment Mbappe picks up even the audience will be surprised because from the beginning mbappe is natural and he has all he needs to put up a very good performance all that he needs now is just understanding of the whole league then he can start, people wanted mbappe to start and start blasting everywhere, and the attempts he makes are incredible so they should hold their horses and there is no doubt that mabppe is going to do great things this season in both champions league and the domestic league.

Last season Real Madrid won the league which some people never expected.  It is too early to predict which team will champions league , Real Madrid may not be in the best form but they still have the chance to win.
all teams that have successfully qualified for the UCL will take every match seriously. but Madrid has a big problem with several players who are currently injured while defending the national team during the international break. a big loss for Madrid because the first UCL match will start immediately after the international break is over.
although Madrid always shows good performance in the UCL, losing some players who are the main squad choices will certainly frustrate the coach. hopefully, the injured players are not serious.

With regards to what is happening to Real Madrid in the La Liga now we shouldn't be too confident about them winning the Champions League this season because literally, no one expected them to face this difficulty they found themselves in the La Liga now and considering the level of injuries that has hit the club is already sending a message that things may not really work so well for the team as everyone thought it will. However, Real Madrid is an elite club with quality players so regardless of the injury concerns they can still perform better and possibly claim the UCL again.
One thing about the Champions league you can't predict which team will win the league because the competition is always tough here. I can't say because Real Madrid is not performing very well and they don't stand the chance of winning the league this season. When it comes to champions league Real Madrid don't joke with it, Real Madrid can let laliga go but take champions league very serious.

I am deciding on Real Madrid as the team of the season to lift the trophy reason being that Real Madrid as a team to be on the safer side because they have always possessed what it takes to defend and grab trophies.
Making changes at every windows opened, knowing their loopholes and replacing them.
Champions League, Real Madrid's big name must be considered by any team. The decision about Real Madrid will be the team that will lift the trophy this season, I think it is still very early with the new format that demands a lot of energy from all teams.
Regarding the favorite team, Real Madrid I also make them my favorite team.

Real Madrid was the team to lift the trophy last season and they have had better players in the past and last season they still maintained their stance.
To defend the title will be difficult. There is a condition to stop them from lifting the trophy again, namely by eliminating them early. If Real Madrid makes it to the Semi Finals, the chance to lift the trophy again this season is greater.

We have to see how deep the squad is that Madrid has. even though some players are injured, it will not affect Madrid. because they have many player options that I think are not much different in quality. unless Vinicius, Mbappe, and Rodrygo are injured at the same time. that might be serious for Ancelotti. if the situation happens in another team, it might be very influential. but for Madrid, I'm sure they can still perform well. but we also see whether the new system used for the group stage with 8 matches will benefit Madrid or not.

I don't think you really know who is suffering from an injury. They indeed have lots of players to play with but most of them are front line players. While most of the injured players are in the midfielder position, so you can't just put the forward players to replace those who are injured, especially in the defensive midfielder position.

This injury crisis has clearly had a huge impact and if it doesn't get better soon, Madrid may face a tough fight in La Liga, let alone the Champions League and most likely it will be quite difficult to always win every match.

When Mbappe joined Real Madrid at the beginning of the season, everyone was so sure that they'd be off to a flying start. I know they did win the super cup but their recent performances have been nothing to write home about especially with the quality of squad they constantly field when they go up against any team.

The UCL is yet to start but I'm pretty sure Real Madrid will go very far this season unless they improve and the team can understood itself because there was a similar situation like this when PSH had Mbappe, Messi abd Neymar on their team. Everyone thought they'd win it that year for sure but it's not always as it seems and Real Madrid is just the signs already. My thesis is wrong only if the Don finds a way to get his team back to strong, consistent winning days.
I dont compare La Liga to UCL competition when it comes to Real Madrid. They are one team I can vouch for, and you can't see them perform badly when they are playing in the UCL. Sometimes they can be wavering in La Liga but these players are experienced in the Champions League with so much belief that they can win. Let's see how it goes it will take a little time for the team and everyone to create a bond with each other based on the recent adjustment. However, their squad is still the best currently in football. Hopefully, they will win the La Liga and Champions League again. I strongly believed in them and I have placed a bet on them as my favorite team to win the both competition.
Even if Real Madrid perform poorly in their domestic competition in any tournament, they are still doing well in the Champions League. Seeing their performances like this, it seems that maybe they only build a team to do well in the Champions League. With the squad they have built this season, they will surely do well in this season's Champions League and they have a great chance of winning La Liga. Last season we saw Real Madrid secure their 15th title. It would not be a surprise if they celebrate a 16th title this season as their team is stronger this season than last season.

we can start the speculations and what will be our favorite teams for next season
What do you think about it?

Real Madrid was the team to lift the trophy last season and they have had better players in the past and last season they still maintained their stance.

They also have connective conducts, good team works and this season they portrays the prospect again because they were good last season in winning the Spanish La Liga and this season with Kylian, Mpappe and Kendrick from Brazil brought to this team with other older players of the team they have add more squad depth.

This has got me to believe they will do better again this season so they stand a chance to lift the trophy again this season. This is the reason why I am making Real Madrid a choice at this season.

Having just good players doesn't cut and I see this in respect to what Chelsea football club has become because they have bought and bought so many that it has gotten to extend of knowing how play them is now a major issue for them and I believe Real Madrid now are also facing similar set back although they win some of their games and ancelotti is good coach but it's still clear that Madrid have struggled to play and sync together as one whole big team.

Statistics say that Real Madrid is the best club in its consistency in the Champions League and also in La Liga, it can be seen from the number of times they can win the Champions League title and their consistent performance in La Liga. So with that I say that they are indeed the best club in the domestic league and in European competitions. This season they are also the favorites to win the Champions League again although that does not fully guarantee that they can do it again, because the competition in the Champions League is very tight. Moreover, they have not yet found their best game in La Liga, it's just that the Champions League has not started yet, therefore they still have enough time to fix it.

Too early to decide that Real Madrid will be the winners of the Champions League, but statistics speak for the point made, and I get why so many people would like to already declare this. yes exactly the competition is becoming very close and Ancelotti has decided not to tire the players too much in view of the many matches that will be held, let's say that many players have already started to complain about this and it is no coincidence that many have already gotten hurt , due to the numerous matches played it is easy to get hurt and risk throwing away the championship!
Real Madrid is one of the clubs with the most schedules this season, they have to divide their focus on La Liga, UCL, CDR and the Club World Cup. The tight schedule will certainly be very tiring for the players, Ancelotti will certainly rotate in several matches, especially in CDR. However, the risk of injury remains and cannot be avoided, this worst possibility can make the coach dizzy due to the difficulty in formulating a strategy.

Some players who have entered the treatment room may soon return to strengthen Real Madrid, but the possibility of their injuries recurring is very large if the coach forces them to play too much. Real Madrid's main focus is to win back the UCL trophy, but if this situation continues, it will be difficult to compete with other teams, especially Manchester City will try to take revenge for their defeat last season.

At the beginning of this season, Real Madrid was really unlucky because the list of injuries to their players continued to grow, even though they still had some players they could rely on, but Carlo Anceloti still had to rearrange his strategy, especially since this season they would be busier than previous seasons. The players would experience fatigue and, perhaps, at worst, injury, so the coach had to be smart in rotating players so that they could continue to fight until the end.
I admit Los Blancos had to accept the bitter reality at the beginning of the season because their players were hit by a storm of injuries that were quite worrying in number. It is unimaginable that their tight schedule with a limited number of players will only add to the mounting injury problems. President Florentino must immediately take anticipatory steps, hopefully he will not remain silent watching his troops continue to decrease. In this season's transfer market they should be more aggressive in buying back line players.
Moreover, most of those who are injured are starters and this is not good for a team that wants to defend its champions league title. I am quite sad after knowing this and that is why when they still have a lot of time to make player transfers, Real Madrid ignores it. They are too confident with the depth of their current squad so that the possibility of injury escapes their sight.

It is too late for Real Madrid to add ammunition to the back line and currently all that is left are free agent players if they want to recruit them. But seeing Real Madrid's movements who are always careful in targeting players, I think it is quite impossible for them considering the criteria they want is always high for a player.

According to the schedules first fixtures of Champion league will be starting on September 17th - September 19th and according to the list i was found some interesting matches which we can called those are big matches such as

AC Milan vs Liverpool
Manchester City vs Internazionale Milan
Atalanta vs Arsenal

I haven't checked the odds yet for these matches but i am sure Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal will being an the favourite in this matches however here is the fixtures of champion league for week 1 below

Let me help you with that.  Wink

https://www.oddschecker.com/football/champions-league

Indeed the choices you have are really sensible. The total odds are around 5.50. It is wonderful for a multi that's obvious.  Grin

Milan have started the season terrible. I don't think they can withstand Liverpool too much. Manchester City - Inter is a very interesting one. But I don't expect a point loss by the home team. Atalanta were great in the Europa League last season. But I don't think they will steal points from Arsenal.

Real Madrid
We can see the entire Real Madrid squad in the 2024/2025 season in full above. They have a very good squad, both those who will be the main players and those who will be substitutes sitting on the bench. Almost every season they always have a luxurious squad and they can use it well to achieve success in the competitions they participate in.
Now their job is to make sure that the squad they have is reliable, and I think it is the coach's job to organize everything well. Because it is very unfortunate when they have a luxurious squad like that, it cannot be maximized properly. For those who are injured, I think they still have a balanced strength between the main players and substitutes.
Injury have dealt with Real Madrid, out of reach for Real Madrid and this have been nothing but a chronic headache for the club especially for the players that are underpressure. Real Madrid are no longer the formidable club I used to know previous season, alot of things have changed and this is probably not the Real Madrid 2.0 that transformed when Carlo Ancelotti took over the managerial role in Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos are yet to improve this season and we totally understand the flowing standards that will coupled up with the current squad.

Ancelotti's got a real mess on his hands. Injuries piling up at Real Madrid, right when they're hitting their stride? Brutal. This is where a coach earns his paycheck. You lose Militao, potentially for weeks? That's a hole in your defense. This season's gonna test Ancelotti's adaptability. Real Madrid's bench needs to step up. It's not enough to have a second string, they need to be damn near as good as the starters

Bellingham's injury is sicks, man. Every minute he's out, it hurts. This is where the "Galactico" philosophy gets tested. You pay big money for big names, but can those names deliver when the chips are down? It's gonna be a bumpy ride, but that's what makes this season so damn exciting

Real Madrid facing too many injury woes at this early stage of the season is a kinda set back to the team since they've got a lot of commitment this season though they have replacement for the injured players but I hope he features them in the right positions they will be comfortable with and bring out the best of their performance. Real Madrid is a team that even their second XI is almost in same strength with the first XI so this is literally a time that Carlo Ancelotti will have to put his technical coaching skills into action so they the team don't experience much disappointment. Hope the injured players recovers soon more especially Jude Bellingham because his influence in matches also brings out success in the team so I wish them all quick recovery.
