I have the same thought and I also think since using the new system, the favorite teams are very difficult to predict and I believe there is something behind the scenes that is not known.
It is very surprising to see the defeat of City, Madrid and several other favorite teams and even many bettors lost in UCL this season.
My belief is that favorite teams like Madrid and Man City are just trying to lose at the beginning and in the next round will finish off all existing opponents.

Inter actually had no intention to win the match, they park the bus in order to prevent Arsenal to score a goal. Luckily Arsenal made mistake and Inter get a penalty kick, it strengthen them to retain the point till the match end.

In order to beat Italian defense, they need to have tall strikers, while almost all Arsenal's strikers are short like Trossard, Saka, Martinelli and Jesus.

No doubt Liverpool looks very solid, they almost unbeatable in this season. Another one is Barcelona, even they lose against Monaco, but I see they're second strongest in this season.

The way Barcelona is playing now it will be very difficult for any team to beat them I believe Brest will be a work over match for Barcelona as they are going to win Brest with a better goal margin, we all saw what they did to Bayern Munich by beating them 4-1 yesterday they also showcase another excellent desplay by beating Crvena zvezda 2-5 so currently now with the performance of Barcelona it will be difficult for any team to win both in their domestic league and the UEFA Champions league Lewandowski has always shown to be a better striker as he keep scoring for Barcelona to always keep them ahead of any other team.
What is really helping Barcelona is their team work as they are playing with one accord unlike some team who plays individual football.
If Barcelona should continue this way they will definitely win the UEFA Champions league this season and also the Spanish laliga tittle.

There is no doubt that Barcelona are in great form. Barcelona have won their last two matches against giants like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. So we were sure that Barcelona will win against FK Crvena zvezda. And in this match also Barcelona players have been able to play very well. Barcelona won by a big margin of 5-2.

Barcelona lost the first match of the Champions League. But now the team is in a great rhythm. Barcelona is able to perform well in every match. We see Barcelona players performing well in both the Champions League and La Liga. Although Yamal did not perform well in this match, Lewandowski and Raphinha managed to perform well.

I think it has to do with the fact that the schedule is getting packed while injuries hammered some teams, not to mention some key players are getting older. I mean some teams are losing to Pot 2 or Pot 3 team, not another favourites. Still, the new format is looking interesting so far. We just need to hope that clubs can cope with the schedule and the players are not dead by the end of the season because of that.

It's tiring to discuss controversial decisions week in and week out, but you could argue Arsenal should get a pen too. At the end of the day though, they have 90 minutes to score goals so they need to improve their game as quickly as quickly as possible.

Liverpool is the only club to achieve perfect points so far with 0 defeats and 0 draws, which is an extraordinary result, below them are Sporting, Monaco, Brest and Inter who have also not experienced defeat but have drawn 1 time. Barcelona are experiencing a very rapid improvement they are quite good consistently and also their goal scoring style above 2/3 always happens I also like that they will be able to compete to be the favorites for the Champions League this season, Barcelona's big win when visiting Red Star's headquarters was good enough so that they were flooded with goals and played quite calmly so that the victory became a point gain for them, with Raphinha's goal earlier one goal Raphinha managed to top the top scorer standings with a current goal tally of 5 from him and in my opinion his mental improvement is increasing and I am quite sure that the Barcelona captain will get an individual award for him because his current game is quite amazing he deserves it.

Their next match is against the French representative, Brest and Brest is currently above Barca with 10 points and Barca 9 points, this will certainly be fierce because Brest is quite amazing in the Champions League but we know Barcelona is also quite improving I will not doubt Barcelona because they are in their plus form at the moment.

In fact the result of the match for Inter Milan, 1-0 and it was quite satisfying for Inter Milan to win this match, I feel that it has indeed become a bitter reality that Arteta must swallow, not only in the Champions League but in its own domestic league Arsenal also experienced defeat, Arsenal's current situation is very disadvantageous, they are slowly losing their victory and their ability is fading, maybe because of injured players and poor player conditions.

There are only a few more matches in the champions league and Arsenal must have a more comfortable position to be able to enter the next round.

Barcelona is in its best form right now so I don't think Barcelona will have any difficulty against Brest in the next match even I think it will be an easy match for Barcelona.
The Barcelona team this season with all the changes they have made has indeed been a big surprise, no one expected before that Barcelona would be a competitor or a favorite in the fight for the Champion League title this season but from what they have shown now makes everyone put high hopes and calculations for Barcelona in the fight for the title and I think that is realistic.

Champions league football proving to be unpredictable yet again,  the other set of games played on Tuesday saw some big names fail to win in fixtures that looked easy on paper and got beat to a race of survival...now came Wednesday games and yet again more upsets continue,  I thought an in form Aston Villa would win easily against Club brugge unfortunately easier said than done when playing away from home, another casualty was Arsenal who seem to be losing form of late who lost by 1 solo goal of the match need to find their spark fast..elsewhere PSG hearts were broken with a late Athletico goal when it looked like both would share the points not until a 93rd minute goal by Correa who insured 3points were secured.

In the match against Red Star, Barcelona actually always almost scored more goals. Unfortunately, not all the good opportunities they get can be utilized properly. But just scoring 5 goals is more than enough. And the results show that Barcelona has really turned into a team that will really be difficult to beat this season. Both in Laliga and in UCL. Hansi Flick really made drastic improvements there. And the most important thing is that Barcelona players seem to be able to enjoy the game more freely now. They really work together with good chemistry.

And there is no doubt that in the next match against Brest, we will see Barcelona win the match again. Even though Brest has never lost in the UCL this season, I think Barcelona will be the first team to beat Brest in the UCL this season.

Barcelona has played very well and moved up in Champions League standings making them strong contenders for championship. Their next game against Brest team doing well in Champions League will be exciting. Barcelona should not take Brest lightly but with their powerful offense led by top goal scorers Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski they have good chance of winning three important points. Game is set for November 26 2024 at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. This will be a challenge for Barcelona but playing at home and having won recent games against Crvena Zvezda.. Espanyol and Real Madrid gives them an advantage.

The champions League is getting more interesting and a lot of things you don't expect us happening and the teams that were seen as undefeated has been defeated multiple times so Aston Villa case is not different as they have been consistent with winning but today they lost from away to Club Brugge who defeated them by 1:0. Liverpool has been unstoppable so far they have managed to record winning in their games and they are looking like they will go far in the competition that's if they continue with the performance they are having this season and in their next game against Real Madrid I hope they continue the winning run and break the yoke of not winning Real Madrid team.

Since Barcelona performed very well in this match and they won and were able to change their position in the points table. The strong attack of the Barcelona team and their performance enabled them to go to a good position, they certainly still have a lot of chances to fight for the Champions League title. Yes, Barcelona will face Brest in the next match, this match will be even more interesting because Brest is currently showing a very good performance in the Champions League. So Barcelona should not take the team easily, but if Barcelona has to collect points and move up, then they must be strong against the Brest team. If Barcelona is able to attack strongly, then they will definitely be able to collect three points in the points table and have a chance to win.

After beating Bayern with a score of 4-1, Barcelona is now showing its prowess again against Red Star and Barcelona won the match again with a score of 2-5. I am amazed by the performance of the Barcelona players who are now seeing it getting better. Of course Barcelona is proud to be able to take points from Red. Star because after all Red Star is the strongest team currently in the Serbian league which of course currently occupies 1st place in the standings.

The Barcelona players really worked together well in this fight and finally produced an attack that was difficult on hold Red Star to

I was also impressed with Lewandowski, because he was the one who scored the most goals. yes, the point is that now Barcelona is really improving in performance and what is certain is that now in the Champions League Barcelona will definitely be respected and in my opinion with the good performance Barcelona currently has, I definitely think Barcelona will be a strong candidate to become champions of the champions league because Real Madrid also won the Champions League last season and were defeated by Barcelona in Laliga.

The next match will certainly be no less interesting because Barcelona will compete against Brest. According to my prediction, Barcelona will succeed in beating Brest in the upcoming match in the UCL.

This is what makes Serie A clubs quite interesting. because they are not as many star players there as there are star players in Laliga and the Premier League. But what is quite impressive is that the quality of the Serie A clubs always manages to amaze us and of course they always compete strongly in the Champions League. Except last season. Because I think last season the clubs from Serie A were eliminated quite quickly. But this season they are starting to show again that they are ready to go further in the Champions League.

In the 2022-23 season we have a champion in the UCL from the premier league, namely Manchester City. And in the 2023-24 season we have champions in the UCL from Laliga, namely Real Madrid. And now we don't know whether the winner in the UCL will come from Laliga or the Premier League again. But I think it could be different this time. Although actually currently Liverpool and Barcelona look like the strongest candidates. But just like in previous seasons, there is always an unexpected team that manages to go further and reach the final round. I think this season that possibility will return.

Aston Villa lost by a penalty from an unbelievable mistake between their goalkeeper and defender. Three clubs from Premier League lost this week and Arsenal looks to have bad situation now. There are two other big clubs lost this week, Atletico Madrid and PSG and PSG even will have to leave Champions League very soon. They have risk that won't be qualified for play-off phase after this group phase and it seems their quality and competitiveness has considerably dropped in this season.

Clubs from Serie A already started to gain success three seasons ago and they are going to maintain it in this season. They don't have many star players like clubs from Premier League and La Liga but probably their good strategies for player transfers help them to gain good finance and their traditional good tactics helps them to succeed in Europe.

I agree with you on the hidden issues clubs have and if you not observant it could be a minor issue but that aside, Bayern Munich have been one of the best in terms of champions league football and you won't tell me that these are not the same guys that have been dominating Europe for quite sometime now, although we have few players who haven't won the UCL title with the club but they are still that Bayern Munich unless they have to make some changes like bring in new players. If it can be done players like Sane and Gnabry ain't suppose to be in that team, they have lost that sharpness to pass through defenders like they used to do.
I'd say this is the season where their defense isn't good enough and forget about stat, they always create chances and score less and that's Bayern for you. I won't blame their defense but the whole team, they seem tired like they have been exhausted and they need rest but they'd their problem to recover from if not they won't go far in this champions league.
