I wonder why a team will want to be defeated on purpose, it does not make any sense actually. For Manchester city's loss to Sporting Lisbon, i feel it was the carelessness of the players that caused them that defeat because Manchester City were the first to score and all of a sudden, they became so porous and the defenders made lot of mistakes that led to the penalties they conceded to Sporting Lisbon. Real Madrid losing to AC Milan was totally lack of teamwork amongst the players.

I don't agree with you that Manchester City have not been in their best form this season because if not for the last two matches they lost, you can agree with me they were doing very fine as they only lost one match each in the Premier league and in the champions league so it's not enough to say they are not in their best form. Their loss to Bournemouth was completely defensive error same with their loss to Sporting Lisbon though Sporting Lisbon have been in their best form since last season till now so i didn't see their winning against Manchester City as a surprise.

Yes, i can agree with you that Real Madrid have been so unstable since the season began because even at the start of the season, they gave a very wrong impression by playing draw in their first match of the season and i feel what is wrong with the team is just lack of understanding among the three players you mentioned.

It's gladdens my heart to see the likes of Raphina and Robert Lewandowski scoring goals they couldn't last season. Good game last night,  now they have to do same against Real Sociedad. I will be expecting a squad rotation finally.

I didn't see the Salzburg game but saw Aston Villa finally losing in the champions league yesterday. Tyrone mings snoozed and forgot that was a pass. Club Brugge sat back and made it difficult for Villa to penetrate after the penalty.  I saw a penalty the ref and var did not look into for Arsenal,  they should have at least gotten a point outta that game. Inter Milan defended great.

The 4th match was indeed unfavorable for most Premier League teams. Because only Liverpool managed to get full points and apart from Liverpool everyone lost. I wasn't surprised by Arsenal's defeat by Inter Milan. But I didn't expect to see Man City lose to Sporting CP. But it looks like Sporting CP could lose their good performance after being left by their coach, Ruben Amorim, who will move to MU. So I am quite concerned about this club. And regarding Brest they are indeed surprising this season. because they are able to maintain their consistency well. It's just that they haven't really faced a much stronger team. And in the 5th match they will face Arsenal. And I'm curious whether Sporting CP will be able to maintain their positive trend or not after their own coach left.

It's big surprise in this season that Hansi Flick and Barcelona can play very impressively like this with many young players. This young squad are ready to make history for the club and themselves in this season. Many signals that they are making history, and good results in early of season are first bricks towards titles at the season ending.

They not only beat many opponents and collect many points, but also manage to beat very big opponents like Real Madrid and Bayer Munich with very big wins. It shows that they're able to compete for titles in this season and the task of Hansi Flick is keeping their young players calm and rotate them regularly to avoid injuries.

Arsenal started this season with a lot of hope that they will win Premier League title and go far in Champions League. They actually began it not too bad but recent weeks, they lost many points in Premier League and in Champions League, they did not have good performances so far too. Inter Milan are playing more stable than Arsenal and in experience, it's surely that Inter Milan are more experienced than Arsenal in recent years. Because they won two Scudetto and had one Champions League final match.

I think 4th matches is not profitable for most of the bettors this because we have seen almost all of favourite teams were lost and the latest is Arsenal lost from Inter Milan and PSG lost from Atletico Madrid and i have to says too 4th matches is not good for Premier league teams because among all of premier league teams only Liverpool who can able to gets the winning results even they are the only team who can gets 4 winning streak in this competition

Liverpool has 12 points and their position currently at first place and below to them there is Sporting who can occupy second place after beat Manchester City yesterday but i found one mediocre team who still able to managed their consistency in this competition that they are Brest and yesterday Brest has just overcome Sparta Prague and this result makes them can collect 10 points and still unbeated

I don't agree with this your statement here at all, arsenal and inter Milan, who is more recognize in Europe? Inter.
Or have you forgotten so early that they were the uefa champions league finalist season before last?

Right now they are the defending champions of the Italian Seria A and you are here saying that they are not as good as arsenal, am just surprised in disagreement in your statement, because inter Milan has done more and have proven more in European football than arsenal,  so why would you look down on them like that?

Ok let's look at the both teams present form, inter Milan are even in a  better form than arsenal right now, so it's high time we stop over hyping the English team are start appreciating the Italian team that are actually good.

At least I am happy with Barcelona and Inter Milan's victory in the match last night. because I really feel that Inter Milan will win that match. But I am quite disappointed with Feyenoord. Because I think they will win the match. because in the previous match Feyenoord was able to beat Benfica which makes me believe that Feyenoord will also be able to beat RB Salzburg. And in the previous match, RB Salzburg was also humiliated by Dinamo Zagreb, but in last night's match it seemed like RB Salzburg really made a surprise by beating Feyenoord.

Barcelona is in good shape this season and with the way I see things they will win 2 trophies this season, I already know that Barcelona is going to win the match because those who they play against are not a big team, Barcelona is lucky in Champion League this season, they only play against one big team and that is Bayern Munich and Bayern Munich is not in good shape because Musiala and all those big players that will help the team are not in good shape, Barcelona is going to go far in this League.

The surprise game yesterday was the game of Arsenal against Inter Milan, if I had been told that Inter Milan would defeat Arsenal I would not believe it because Inter Milan is not as good as Arsenal is this season, Inter Milan sometimes finds it difficult to defeat some teams in Serie A League but they defeat Arsenal with a penalty goal yesterday, I know some people will said it is lucky because it is a penalty but that is still winning, Arsenal performance this season is even worse than last season and with the way I'm seeing things Arsenal will end up like last season.

Real Madrid and Manchester City teams were considered to be the favorites for the Champions League this season as well. But we are not seeing good performances from City and Real Madrid this season. Real Madrid is 18th in the team points table and Manchester City is 10th in the table. A team as renowned as Real Madrid has lost two out of four matches.

On the other hand, Bayern Munich, one of the most experienced teams in the Champions League, started their Champions League journey brilliantly. Munich won 9-2 against Dinamo in the first match. Munich lost their next two matches against Aston Villa and Barcelona. Despite winning 1-0 against Benfica in the last match, Munich's performance was not so good. At the moment, Barcelona and Liverpool teams can be considered as the most favorites in the Champions League.

Leverkusen was one of the best performing teams in the Europa League last season and the team finished runners up in the Europa League last season and Liverpool were eliminated early in the Europa League tournament. But when these two teams went up against each other as opponents in this season's Champions League, we saw Liverpool secure a big win over Leverkusen. 

In other seasons it was very easy to list the favorite teams for the Champions League but this season it is difficult to say which team will be in the favorite position or which team will do well in the Champions League. Real Madrid is considered as the all-time favorite team for the Champions League but this Real Madrid is performing very poorly. Real Madrid has been defeated in the last match of the Champions League and another favorite team Manchester City has been defeated so which team should be ahead now is a big question.

I think last night's matches were more enjoyable. The matches I watched tonight were not exciting.

Barcelona won 5-2. I didn't watch this match, maybe it was an enjoyable match.

City have not been in their best form this season. Manchester City lost against Bournemouth in the last Premier League match. And in the next match, Manchester City was defeated by a big margin of 4-1 against Sporting. As City also lost against Bournemouth, I don't think City conceded the defeat against Sporting on purpose. The team was defeated because of the weakness of Manchester City's defense.

On the other hand, Real Madrid has been unstable since the beginning of this season. Mbappe's addition to the squad has resulted in a loss of bonding between the players. Mbappe, Bellingham and Vini we are not seeing good performances from anyone. This is why Madrid lost two Champions League matches.

I agree with you. It was Inter Milan's home match. Even then, we saw the dominance of Arsenal players throughout the match. Inter Milan's victory was probably not on target. They wanted to draw the match. Inter Milan players attacked very little. And their only job was to fend off Arsenal's attacks. But Inter Milan were lucky. In the last minute of the first half, Inter Milan managed to score from the penalty spot.

After leading 1-0 at the end of the first half, Inter Milan played a poor defensive strategy in the second half. Arsenal players tried to score until the last moment of the match. But Arsenal failed to break the strong defense of Inter Milan.

I have the same thought and I also think since using the new system, the favorite teams are very difficult to predict and I believe there is something behind the scenes that is not known.

Inter actually had no intention to win the match, they park the bus in order to prevent Arsenal to score a goal. Luckily Arsenal made mistake and Inter get a penalty kick, it strengthen them to retain the point till the match end.

In order to beat Italian defense, they need to have tall strikers, while almost all Arsenal's strikers are short like Trossard, Saka, Martinelli and Jesus.

No doubt Liverpool looks very solid, they almost unbeatable in this season. Another one is Barcelona, even they lose against Monaco, but I see they're second strongest in this season.

The way Barcelona is playing now it will be very difficult for any team to beat them I believe Brest will be a work over match for Barcelona as they are going to win Brest with a better goal margin, we all saw what they did to Bayern Munich by beating them 4-1 yesterday they also showcase another excellent desplay by beating Crvena zvezda 2-5 so currently now with the performance of Barcelona it will be difficult for any team to win both in their domestic league and the UEFA Champions league Lewandowski has always shown to be a better striker as he keep scoring for Barcelona to always keep them ahead of any other team.
What is really helping Barcelona is their team work as they are playing with one accord unlike some team who plays individual football.
If Barcelona should continue this way they will definitely win the UEFA Champions league this season and also the Spanish laliga tittle.

There is no doubt that Barcelona are in great form. Barcelona have won their last two matches against giants like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. So we were sure that Barcelona will win against FK Crvena zvezda. And in this match also Barcelona players have been able to play very well. Barcelona won by a big margin of 5-2.

Barcelona lost the first match of the Champions League. But now the team is in a great rhythm. Barcelona is able to perform well in every match. We see Barcelona players performing well in both the Champions League and La Liga. Although Yamal did not perform well in this match, Lewandowski and Raphinha managed to perform well.

I think it has to do with the fact that the schedule is getting packed while injuries hammered some teams, not to mention some key players are getting older. I mean some teams are losing to Pot 2 or Pot 3 team, not another favourites. Still, the new format is looking interesting so far. We just need to hope that clubs can cope with the schedule and the players are not dead by the end of the season because of that.

It's tiring to discuss controversial decisions week in and week out, but you could argue Arsenal should get a pen too. At the end of the day though, they have 90 minutes to score goals so they need to improve their game as quickly as quickly as possible.
