I would say Young Boys deserve to win this match. They have performed really well. After a 3-2 win at home I thought Young Boys would play defensively in the away match. But in this match Young Boys attacked a lot and tried to break Galatasaray's defense. And finally succeeded Young Boys. Young Boys won the match 1-0. Young Boys won the home match by 3-2 and the away match by 1-0.

Galatasaray is my favorite team. I would have been happy if this team could have qualified for the Champions League. But the team failed to perform well against Young Boys. However, now Galatasaray will be fully focused on the Super Lig. There is a big possibility to see galatasaray dominate in the Super Lig next season.

I agree with your point of view. BSC Young Boys played well in this match and gave their all effort to win this match. The match was tough for both teams because BSC Young Boys did only one goal but I expected 3 goals from that team . Galatasaray team could draw this match but they didn't use their mind and played defensive. They should attack in this match but they could not do that . And after the goal of Virginius ,we saw no goal in this match. I think Galatasaray should improve their performance because with that kind of performance,that is very hard for team  to win match against good team. Players have to make mind and they have to play with active mind.

Why do I feel like this new format favours the big teams more than the small teams? In the old format, the smaller teams in the group had to fight to get at least second so they could make it to the round of 16, but now the big teams will occupy the top 8 and when the teams in 9th to 24th position are paired for the play off, there is a bigger chance the big team will win. This is just a super league that involves all the top teams in Europe.

I like the format though. It means more interesting matches. We don't have to wait till the quarter-finals before we see clashes of big teams. Aside from the fact that the players have more matches to pay in a short period of time, I believe the format is better than the old one.

I honestly feel for the Arsenal club and always wonder why they are always failing to take the Champions league even at periods they could have taken it, they in fact become weaker in their performance. Mikel Arteta seems to be a steady manager for the club and could soon be seen with the respect given to Sir Arsene Winger if he can surprise us and cast out the spell that always stop Arsenal from taking the Champions league. Unlike in the past, the competition have increased as many small clubs are now taking a new shape to be stronger and thicker for bigger challenges. It could be even tougher this season for Arsenal but not as much if they could strategize themselves properly.

I saw last season of EPL as a swift move to take the championship because Guardiola is always strategic in his approach to games and scenarios. Arsenal made slight mistakes who cost them big lost last season, one of which was their lost to Aston Villa. Coincidentally they've met again this season and Arsenal already lashed them two to none. I hope the evil spirit that always hunts Arsenal's chances to take the Champions league trophy doesn't catch up with them this tournament. Lol.

The UEFA Champion League have draw and seems optimistic with my favorite team Real Madrid get qualify to knock out round as the top eight standings teams or directly qualifying. New format from group stage filled by four team change to be league format and each team with four home and four away match must playing effective to secure three points every match if want get the top eight standings teams.

Looking the opponent teams, Real Madrid have opportunity to secure top eight standings position get directly qualify to next round regarding only Liverpool and Dortmund are difficult opponent teams.

Liga Champion draw is over and we can take a look at our favorite teams and who do you think is the group of death for the time being? The new format is a little harder to understand if you don't look into it.

If only playing 8 matches in this phase, does that mean there are no more home and away matches, is that so or not? Because I think, if there are no more home and away matches it seems no longer interesting, because what makes it interesting so far is about home and away matches. But, if only playing one match in this phase or 8 match like that, does that also mean the match will be played in a neutral area or not because at least, if in this phase they play home and away matches then at least they play 16 matches in this phase, I personally have not followed and found out.

But yes, hopefully with this new format the Champions League will still be interesting because if I consider the teams in each pot, then it is like being grouped into seeded teams, middle and also mediocre teams or dark horse teams. With a pot like this, I feel the match will be interesting at the beginning but for the next phases, it might not be so interesting if later in the final match it brings together a top team against a dark horse team.

Sorry for not posting an image but it would be just too much. Because there isn't any group stage anymore and there are too many matches.  

We are talking about (36 teams x 8 matches per team) / 2 = 144 matches in total. Let's see how things go in this new format. It isn't like reinventing the wheel of course there are many similarities.

The only difference is that there is a league-like phase instead of groups. After this stage everything is the same. I'm curious whether we will see an underdog doing unexpected things this season.

Well arsenal no doubt are up to the standard of even winning the champions league but due to one or two things, I think there major focus should be on even the premier league because they first need to tackyqnd conquer their rival which is Manchester who on a bigger scale is even on the champions league. If arsenal actually wins the premier league then we will talk about their next step to take.

I really liked the new draw to tell the truth.    It is much more practical compared to the previous version. If they wanted to use the old draw for the new system, they were going to need more than 1000 balls to determine all the matches.

Buffon opens a ball from a pot and Ronaldo presses a button for the computer to determine the opponents of that team, that's it.    So far the unluckiest team looks like Club Brugge. They have drawn nearly all the most challenging teams. I'm just looking forward to watching league matches. There will be discussions about if there was really a need for a change. But we will see. Maybe we will like this system more.

Madrid always has the power to win UCL. but I think City will be a strong contender. both teams have monsters for the front line. let's see how the situation is from the group stage. I will also support Madrid to win UCL this season. Madrid has Mbappe who was not in the team last season. and now they have to perform better. although we see that currently, Mbappe has not scored a goal for Madrid in La Liga. while Haaland has scored 4 goals for City in the EPL.
I know UCL is not only about the performance of one or two players. but more about the hard work of the team that plays well consistently throughout the competition. Madrid has a champion mentality.

Arsenal's performance this season will be better than last season when they give more importance to the Champions League tournament. I think if they have to change the Premier League competition plan a little while giving more importance to the Champions League tournament then they should because it's been a long time since they won the Champions League title. The big teams that are in the Champions League will not be Arsenal's opponents beforehand, so it is possible to win against the relatively small teams if they play according to the right plan. If the top five teams for the Champions League were to be made, Arsenal's name would be there, but Arsenal would have to perform better.

In less than an hour time, the draw for the group stages of 2024/25 UEFA Champions League season will commence and despite the fact that there's a new format that'll give room to more teams than the 32 teams in former format, I still don't think we're going to have a new winner of the competition this season. In the last decade, there's been some clubs that has dominated the competition and I also feel one of them will surely win it again this season.
Real Madrid are the defending champions after they successfully won it last season but bookmakers went for Manchester City as the club with the highest probability ratio of winning the competition. However, if you ask me, I think Real Madrid will win retain the European Cup trophy this season

They became representatives after the competition process in their respective leagues so that they became representatives who would play in the Champions League or could also go through the play-off route. Arsenal looked so strong in the last two seasons in the Premier League but they failed to become a team that managed to enter the final round. In terms of champion mentality, I agree that Arsenal does not have it and we can see that in the Premier League and they should have been able to lock in the champion in the last two seasons.

But because of consistency and failing to play consistently until the end of the competition, Man City took over the top position and they managed to come out as champions in the Premier League in those two seasons. This is what Mikel Arteta needs to fix if he wants to win the title, even though if you look at it, the Champions League competition will be much more difficult than the Premier League.

Pretty much everything as expected after the first game, except Young Boys kicking out Galatasary.

It turns out that I was needlessly afraid of Qarabag as they were nowhere as good as they were in the first game. Seems like they play much better away than home as they also lost vs Ludogorets just to beat them 7-2 away.

Even if Arsenal have some new players to strengthen their squad I don't think they will be able to get to the Champions league finals because what really matters to Arsenal is to win Premier league title and this have been their target ever since.  Champions league is more competitive than Premier league and arsenal have been finding it very difficult to win EPL. I won't be surprised if arsenal fails to make it in champions league because it won't make any senses when they haven't be able to win the easier title but looking up to win the Champions League.

I will prefer arsenal players to put all their energy in premier league because it will be so disappointing not to get the title of the league in this season again.

The new system implemented in the Champions League adds to the length of the match schedule for all clubs, pots 1 and 2 seem to have big clubs there, especially pot 1, which is very scary, in pot 1 there are many big clubs, it is very interesting to watch, I also do not really understand the system that will be implemented because I have only seen what will be done for the system that will be used by FiFA, if the match you mentioned is true, it will be interesting and will definitely be tiring for all players, later there will be many schedules that will take place.

the champions league brings together the best teams in their respective domestic leagues, therefore arsenal must fight to bring out their full strength if they want to achieve success in this year's champions. we see in the two seasons in the EPL arteta's team has improved and made them a candidate for the premier champion but has always been taken by man city, most people think arsenal does not have a champion mentality and i agree with that arsenal must have it if they want to be a respected club in the champions league. this season they have the opportunity to prove it all and honestly i hope arsenal can surprise us all in the champions league.

Still with many top teams and don't forget the dark horse teams that will present a surprise in the champions league this season. I hope there is no gap that makes small teams feel sad when playing against big teams later. Of all these teams, there is one team from Slovakia, namely ŠK Slovan Bratislava, which will make its debut in the champions league which will also be in a new format.

On the other hand, if I'm not mistaken, each team will play 8 matches to determine their chances of advancing to the next round and I think it will drain the players' energy. But this must be tried so that we all know the good or bad with such a tight schedule starting this season.
