Just like i said before Lille is not weak opponent for Fenerbahce and it just happend now that Fenerbahce have to lost dramatically from Lille because the goal from Zhegrova on extra time make Fenerbahce failed to stole point from at Lille home ground and Mourinho confirmed that Fenerbahce indeed is not playing as his expected

I am sure for second leg Fenerbahce will attempts to playing more attacking than the first leg but indeed Mourinho seems have realize that there is a problem with Fenerbahce defensive lines so that's why for for second leg he will do some changes and probably using different strategies than the first leg

Fenerbahce have to win with 2 goals margin or more from Lille if want to qualified to the next round but i am not sure they can able to do that especially Lille has solid defense and it's not easy to broke their defensive lines even at Ligue 1 Lille has good reputation as the team with the strongest defense after PSG
Playing more attackingly will mean for Fenerbahce to give more space to Lille, because they will have to open up more. And Lille's strategy will most likely be very simple, defensive play and possible counterattacks. Fenerbahce will need a one-goal win to take the match to extra time, I think Mourinho is not counting on more. Yes, he says that the situation is not critical, which means he expects Fenerbahce to win at home. Fenerbahce's defense makes a lot of mistakes, Livakovic is an excellent goalkeeper, but without the support of the defense he will not be able to keep his goal without a goal. By the way, Lille's goalkeeper also made several gross mistakes, but he was lucky that Fenerbahce could not take advantage of this.

History is not something new to Real Madrid because they are use to making history. They made history this past season by winning UCL 15 times and they have also won UCL back to back, meaning Real Madrid is history themselves.

The team has a wonderful combination of world class players which are still young and desperate to create records for themselves. The old players in terms of age in Real Madrid are leaving gradually and soon the squad will be of young and vibrant players which will serve the club for a long period of time before they will leave.
History is what they do, if it were the case that all the Champions League trophies they won were long before the present, we might be talking about this team's past history. But when they embark on a new season, that's where they succeed and that's where they make history. Real Madrid alone have won 15 Champions League titles, while all other teams' UCL titles combined may not equal 15 Champions League titles. They have done this in the past, they are doing this consistently now and I believe they will continue to improve in the future.

If we only talk about next season's Champions League, I can't put any other team ahead of Real Madrid as they are expected to win their 16th UCL title with the proportion of the team they have formed.
It is undeniable that Real Madrid is a club with a myriad of achievements in La Liga and the Champions League. The history that has been created cannot be followed by other clubs. If there is another club that is able to match the record, I am sure it will take a long time to surpass it. It takes good finances and consistency for what Real Madrid has shown in creating history and achievements that have been done from the past until now.

Well, with what has been shown by Real Madrid who continue to collect trophies, it is all inseparable from the big role of Florentino Perez, I agree that it will be difficult to destroy Real Madrid's dominance in the Champions League next season. and the past proves that if Real Madrid enters the Champions League final, they will always qualify to become champions.

[...] But even so, at least I also still recognize that Fenerbahce still has great ambitions to be able to comeback in the second leg later because Fenerbahce will play at home. Also, basically Fenerbahce has a great coach who has great experience too and therefore also, maybe it will also prove whether Mourinho will succeed in making Fenerbahce comeback or not in leg two later. Very interesting to look forward to for sure

Lille won in terms of statistics, but they failed to get the results they should have, you can see how they scored, the first because of Oosterwolde's own goal & the second a goal in the last minutes. Due to the reasons i said, i'm not sure Lille can win in the second leg, Fenerbahce is a team that has strong ambitions, i believe they still have a big chance of beating Lille in the second leg.

Lille beat Fenerbahce 2-1 in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final qualifying round and I think, Lille also won in terms of statistics. Indeed, there is still a second leg to be played at Fenerbahce home later but I think, it is also not a guarantee for Fenerbahce to be able to make a comeback. Because at least, considering that maybe Lille is used to more difficult competition in Ligue 1 and will probably be able to maintain the 2-1 advantage they got in this first leg.

I think Fenerbahce fans will give huge pressure for Lille on second leg has away match, not easy for defeating Fenerbahce has good trend performance when playing at home match.
Second round UEFA Champion League qualifying, Fenerbahce success defeating Lugano when playing home and I think Jose Mourinho has opportunity come back to be team manager get participants in UEFA Champion League competition for next season.

Fenerbahce fans are disappointed with the outcome of this match, and they're now upset . 2 own goals by Fenerbahce were totally enough to make their fans feel so bad about their team. I hope we're not seeing Krunic play in the second leg or we're finished.
Lille looked worse than Lugano. But Fenerbahçe's defense was horrible. Also, Fenerbahçe's attack was bad in this game as Džeko and ASM blew two golden chances. Also, Fenerbahçe's statistic(look at the picture below) is not that bad too, but the defense is the main problem here.

Hopefully, Mourinho will make some changes in the squad. Especially, Fenerbahçe's defense.

Real Madrid knows how to combine old and young players. They also know when the time to change the generation of the players. Real Madrid board has a good way in regenerating players. Real Madrid already prepares the changes of their squad with young players earlier. Real Madrid even bought the players below 20 years old. But they never changed the squad suddenly, they changed it gradually. So the young players have the time for adaptation and learn from old players.
A combination of players from different generations is very much needed in a team, senior players can control and advise young players who are still selfish because they want to score goals themselves without caring about other players who are already in the right position to score goals. Real Madrid always carries out gradual generational changes, senior players who are considered old or who are ready to be replaced will be released one by one and then look for other talented young players. Now the Real Madrid squad is almost filled with high-quality young players, only a few senior players remain as leaders on the field.

Last season they lost Toni Kroos, but Ancelotti did not have to worry too much about finding a replacement because Bellingham was ready to replace Kroos. Next season, Modric might leave because of his increasing age, Real Madrid might leave Dani Carvajal as captain in their squad while also directing the young players to always maintain team stability with compact cooperation.

Its first loss for Jose Mourinho as Fenerbahce manager after success bring his team reach qualified until third round, defeated by Lille over 2-1 on the first leg its not big problem because Jose Mourinho has opportunity on second leg and Fenerbahce must win above two goals. Huge ambition for Jose Mourinho return back to the Champion League after last teams manage only played at Europe League when become Roma's tactician.

I think Fenerbahce fans will give huge pressure for Lille on second leg has away match, not easy for defeating Fenerbahce has good trend performance when playing at home match.

Why you guys are being concerned about next season Champions League, I am more concerned about the Laliga and the kind of intimidation that will be in the league. I really wished N.Williams joined forces with Jamal and others in Barcelona to give a better competition and resistance to Real Madrid.

As for champions league, I'm not afraid because it's a tournament of home and away(oh no, it has been changed). Hmmm let's see what the new season has for us.
If Barcelona had not bought Dani Olmo, they might have had a chance with Williams. However, after the Olmo transfer, they probably won't be able to provide enough budget for Williams' transfer. It will be a critical year for Barcelona. Real Madrid has created a great squad in recent years. If they can surpass them this year, they will make a big splash.
Dani Olmo was targeted and brought in by Barcelona before there was desire to bring in Nico Williams and of course Dani Olmo transfer was completed first by Barcelona, moreover both of them are also quite great players from Spain.
Forcing the desire to bring in Nico Williams will have very bad impact on Barcelona financial problems to become more complicated to solve, I skeptical of the Nico Williams transfer even though there were some rumors of fundraising.
Basically what Barcelona has to do now is just really save money and optimize performance as best as possible even with only a few players or without overall transfer success.
And for La Liga itself, there are 4 team that will participate in the UCL competition, seeing them in preparation for next season, only Real Madrid is really considered very strong in competing for the championship title.
If there is chance, maybe Atletico Madrid will be the second team from La Liga that can perform well because their preparation is much better than Barcelona.

In UCL, Real Madrid very often made a new history or made a new record. You're right, it is not something new for Real Madrid.  Wink
The biggest history of Real Madrid is they never got a single defeat in the last 9 UCL finals. This is simply very difficult to follow by other UCL teams. I think this record may never happen with any other teams in the future.

La Liga is tough and it takes only elite advanced players to excel in the league. It's definitely not going to be difficult or challenging for the new players especially the ones that has good vision to strive for greatness. Barcelona and Real Madrid are the main clubs that keeps close sights on major titles.

Barcelona will always make sure they're bringing in top talents and in the current transfer window, the president ensure they signed their very best. Dani Olmo is an experienced player, having special abilities to comprehend his performance and contributions to the club.
I love the fact that Barcelona is really trying to get the team strong so they will be able to get something off the new season but then they are still not having that form they really did needed to be able to still contented firmly against other top team, Madrid has got a very different form that that keeps them outstanding and really different from others in their domestic and champions league and so it will be not really easy to get them to be at same level of comparison with them.

The usual suspects aren't guaranteed a win anymore. The format modifications allow underdogs to compete, which is great. Barcelona getting Olmo? Good move, but they're going all-in on offence. N. Williams' sacrifice may backfire, but that's the risk. Football money talks, and you have to make harsh decisions. Truthfully, Olmo is a beast. He will be a major threat in La Liga and Champions League

La Liga is a different animal. Real Madrid and Barcelona are usually in the mix, but these squad alterations make it anyone's game. It's so exciting because the stakes are bigger than ever. Do not ignore La Liga. Talent and ambition are a powerful mix, and this season will be memorable

No dobt that barcelona, realmadrid snd athletico madrid were always holding the top position of the league and this has continue for years with athletico droping from the title recently although Girona picked up rrecently but we don't know how long they can continue to keeep up.
However, i don't really like the system it really gets both when there're no many high competence competitors to compete with each other when it comes to squad, maybe that can be reviewed to improve the system. By the way, i think Dani olmo is a perfect fit for the club

In the matches played today, Slavia Prague took a step forward by defeating their opponent 3-1 in the first match of the day. The Prague team played a good game against their opponent and took a big advantage to get through the round. USG will definitely have to win at home, but it won't be easy for them to reach a score that will allow them to go through.
S.Bratislava vs APOEL continues without a goal. Since this is a match where 2 teams can go through, it is hard to predict what will happen.

Karabakh created many chances, but shot only few times on target, and perhaps Ludogorets were even lucky to some extent that they were able to win this match, but they did everything possible for this. By the way, this is the only team that managed to win an away match in the Champions League qualification yesterday. With such a defensive game, I think they have a good chance of not losing the home match. Salzburg should have won more confidently, and the goal they missed in extra time was not at all necessary.

I hope Karabakh can turn the situation around in the return game, I would like them to get into the group stage of the Champions League. Last season, Karabakh caused Bayer big problems in the playoffs of the Europa League and generally looked good. It would be nice if this season they had the opportunity to show themselves in the Champions League and perhaps meet Bayer there again. But with a one-goal deficit and an away game, this doesn’t look very likely since Ludogorets is also a good team.

Karabakh lost their home match. Ludogorets managed to get an important away win with a goal in the last minutes. We can say that they have the advantage now in terms of going through the round. Although the hosts found positions and dominated the game, they struggled to get a win. Ludogorets have the potential to draw at home. Karabakh will face a difficult match.
This particular game and Sparta Prague performance cost me a whole lot of cash because I really thought that they would win and that's for Sparta Prague case because they were playing ta home and with their previous performance and strength I was really convinced that they would score even atleast a goal and seal their winnings but all that was ended when they actually conceive first.

Dynamo Kiev and Rangers drew in the first leg. I think that both teams have a chance to go through this round.Of course, the fact that Dynamo Kiev drew at home in the first meeting may indicate that Rangers are one step ahead, but anything can happen in this match.Although Rangers scored the equalizer in the last minutes, we have to say that neither team played very well in the match.
One of the matches that I was most surprised by the result was Sparta Prague's 1-1 draw at home.Sparta Prague should have beaten their opponent here with a score of at least 3-0 and could have had a more comfortable away match for the round.Although they are still the favorites, they have perhaps made the round difficult. We will see this in the second match.

What you said is true but the reason why people are talking so much about the champions League is because of how interesting is going to be on this upcoming season because of the changes and secondly people are also concerned about the possible outcome because unlike most of the season were everybody use to be on the same page about the exact club that would win but in this upcoming season people has different opinions about it because they believe that there would be a very serious competition on this upcoming season, however it doesn't change the interest people also have on Spanish La Liga because we are also expecting a lot of resistant on this upcoming la Liga against real Madrid.
That is true, I think they did something correct with a change, now I am not saying that THIS change is a good one, we still don't know and we are going to see it with time, I can't really say anything about that, but I think it's quite easy to say that A change must have been done, was this the right one? I don't know.

The fact that there is a chance made a lot of people very excited about the situation and that's why they are seeing these changes and I think it is going to be quite good with time, and I think that's a good thing to have right now, should be something that we could definitely use, would be very very profitable for everyone involved as well. I believe that teams will benefit from this a lot more than the old system.

Currently Royale Union SG are being beaten hard by Slavia Prague away. It is 3-1 now and there isn't much time left for the final whistle. Most probably Slavia Prague will advance to next round.

But honestly this isn't surprising to me.  Tongue  Because there is a huge experience gap between two sides in European competitions. Royale Union SG even promoted to Jupiler Pro League a couple of years ago. They are competitive there but still not ready for Champions League level.

By the way I'm sad to hear that Fenerbahçe lost. I couldn't watch it live but watched the highlights. It looks like they were really bad and deserved the loss. They should be even thankful for not losing by a bigger goal difference with that poor defending.
