I agree and I am not sure how you see it, but in my opinion Olmo should be preferred over Williams. If they had the choice to sign either one of them, I believe the better choice would have been Olmo. He brings such a sophisticated game to the table. Williams is another pure offensive striker. Olmo is this weird player who can do it all. I think he gives more to the game than Williams. Since they already have Yamal, having an additional hyper versatile midfielder is the right choice here.

What sets Williams apart is his ability to assist goals. Last season he had 8 goals and 19 assists in 37 games. Olmo's stats are not as impressive when it comes to assists and goals, but his contribution to the game is impressive. Williams' performance will be measured by goals and assists, but a player like Olmo has a variety of other metrics that increase his value. As I said good call by Barcelona and I think we will see the best Olmo ever very soon, given that he remains without injuries of course.

Karabakh created many chances, but shot only few times on target, and perhaps Ludogorets were even lucky to some extent that they were able to win this match, but they did everything possible for this. By the way, this is the only team that managed to win an away match in the Champions League qualification yesterday. With such a defensive game, I think they have a good chance of not losing the home match. Salzburg should have won more confidently, and the goal they missed in extra time was not at all necessary.

I didn't watch the UEFA Champions League qualifying game between Azerbaijan champions Qarabag their Bulgarian opponents Ludogorets last night but when I checked to see the result this morning, I was surprised to see that the away team got a crucial win in that game. In terms of team strength, Qarabag with their recent results and performances have shown that they're better on paper but Ludogorets surprised them last night. Seriously, I doubt that they're going to get a result that'll see them progress to the next round of the competition when they travel to Ludogorets for the second leg of the tie.

Ludogorets had massive luck yesterday and I don't think this will be the case in the 2nd game against Qarabag because in my opinion , Qarabag were the better team by far yesterday and only some mistakes made them loosing that game but I can say with confidence that Ludogorets didn't impress at all. I can also see this series being a comeback from Qarabag and actually qualify further.

Same goes for Sparta Prague who had a bad day in football yesterday and FCSB is that type of team who will instantly punish you if you make mistake so no wonder why they scored 1st. This being said , on this series I also have a feeling that FCSB will be able to win on home ground and I'm thinking to go and see the game live as the tickets are kinda ok as price. Grin

Fenerbahce didn't play a bad game yesterday but lost 2-1 against Lille. In a game where Fenerbahce felt the complete absence of Fred, a midfield transfer is absolutely essential. I guess so many people placed a bet on over 2.5 goals for Lille - Fenerbahçe. It didn't win easily in fact but the result is what matters of course.

I thought Fenerbahçe would fight much better and we would see even at least 4 goals but they weren't good enough with finishing. There were many wasted goal chances by both sides.

What you said is true but the reason why people are talking so much about the champions League is because of how interesting is going to be on this upcoming season because of the changes and secondly people are also concerned about the possible outcome because unlike most of the season were everybody use to be on the same page about the exact club that would win but in this upcoming season people has different opinions about it because they believe that there would be a very serious competition on this upcoming season, however it doesn't change the interest people also have on Spanish La Liga because we are also expecting a lot of resistant on this upcoming la Liga against real Madrid.

Dani Olmo or Williams will be great options for Barcelona to go for. They’ve actually have to decide which is of more priority to them and will provide for them what they need most to make the best out of the league. They’ve both made a big impact in their respective clubs and that’s why they were great targets for the club. They might not be able to go for Williams again as you said because of their financial situation, but the Dani Olmo they’ve signed will really help them and provide a great change for the club and the whole team to do better from next season. So they should try and make good use of the opportunity of Olmo when he joins them for next season.

Big teams are made by having really outstanding forwards which can contribute to team scoring more goals.The transfer of Dani Olmo is a great move as player as we saw in the Euro 2024,if they can manage to get also Williams that would be huge as they would be getting two great players and their offensive should be pretty good.They can even fight and not suffer anymore an humiliating loss of 1-4 from Paris as they suffered last season.They definitely need to get Williams also in their team so they can fight on both the domestic league and Champions League this season.
