Borussia is not seen as a favorite by bettors due to their inconsistent results in the German league. Of course, we know that Barcelona have been playing poorly lately, but Borussia will probably be the less effective team in this match. Real Madrid really showed their class at Atalanta headquarters, they were finally able to taste victory again in the UCL after experiencing defeat in the previous two games. Vinicius immediately stepped on the gas after returning from injury, he managed to score 1 goal and 1 assist in this match. This victory not only managed to steal three points at Atalanta's headquarters, but also gave defeat to Atalanta who were previously unbeaten in 14 matches (12 wins and 2 draws).

Regarding Mbappe, I don't really give Mbappe too much credit because he hasn't been able to fully contribute well for Real Madrid, one goal he managed to score could boost his confidence, but unfortunately he got injured in this game.

But I don't think Real Madrid played very well at all. But yes, Real Madrid's level of play in this match looked much better than in previous matches. But Atalanta's performance was really no less good. Even in the first half we could see the match ended in a draw. Luckily Real Madrid scored 2 goals in the second half which put them ahead. Even though Atalanta also tried to equalize the score, they failed and were only able to score 1 goal in the second half. But Real Madrid was really at a disadvantage because Mbappe was injured. I hope it's not a serious injury.

Was telling someone the other day that some coaches have the ability to leave a club and move to another but still thrive there whereas others can't and I'd say that's what's happening to Amorim and Sporting. Since moving to Man UTD, he hasn't been able to live up to expectations although changing the club to a better one will take time, for me it would have been preferable if he had stayed back at his former club and excelled with because it's like a step down since he left the champions league slot to go manage a team who are struggling in the Europa and to talk of Sporting, since Joao Pereira succeeded him, the club hasn't been the same.
 You could imagine that it was Ruben Amorim that helped the club win their league title after 19 years in 2021 and went on to repeat the same thing the next season. Maybe we're being too hard on Joao Pereira but if he doesn't buckle up, i feel his club's not going to survive in the champions league.
 

I have no doubt that Dortmund will hold Barcelona to a draw in this match. Dortmund did lose several defenders due to injuries for the coach, this is not an obstacle for them to win points at home. Barcelona's performance was very attractive in the last few matches in the Champions League and they even beat big teams.
To beat Dortmund is not easy for them because Dortmund is currently at the top of the league standings, the point is that this match is very interesting, they will compete fiercely to be able to take tickets to the next round.

It seems that Mbappe's injury is not very serious, something to do with the sciatic nerve, it will be clearer after the tests that will be carried out today. I think Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona will have an exciting match in the CL tonight. Dortmund has not been consistent this season. They have some problems in defense because of injuries, and I believe this could make it harder for them. However, their home stadium, Signal Iduna Park, gives them a big boost because of the strong support from their supporters.
For Barcelona, it's another story... they are leading La Liga, but they look tired after playing many games. I think their injuries, like to Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Ansu Fati, are a problem, even though Ronald Araujo’s return is good news. Also, their defense is not strong enough, especially when they play away from home. We can expect the game to have many goals and a Dortmund victory (3-2) (due to its strong superiority on its home ground)

They managed to return from a difficult away game with 3 points. Real Madrid should be congratulated for this. Mbappe's early injury disrupted Real Madrid's style of play, but it is very important for Mbappe to score. I think they will rise in this way. Atalanta should be upset to lose at home, but we should not forget that their opponent was Real Madrid. They have the potential to win in every game. They managed to win with these characteristics.

Even though it was not an easy match for Madrid, they were able to get out of their difficult situation. In the match, we can see how their front line began to work together well. The return of Vinicius and the role of Mbappe were very good for their very meaningful victory.

Another highlight of the game is Mbappe helping his team to go ahead which shows his improving and becoming a team player...but hope that knock he picked up isn't serious as he needs to convince the world his still a world-class player and not some name from the farmers league

Today's match will be more than yesterday match with Real Madrid and Atalanta, however I even notice that Mbappe is mostly trying when the presence of vinicus is there because for those matches Vinicius Junior was injured he hardly perform the way he did on this Atalanta match, so for me Vinicius Junior made it happen for the real Madrid and just like he doesn't disappoint he score the second goal, however another match I also like among the yesterday matches is Shakhtar Donetsk and Bayern Munich, Shakhtar Donetsk took the first goal hopping that they have won the match but they were surprised to see how Bayern Munich dispossessed them and convert the one into 5:1 against Shakhtar Donetsk, however on today's match I'm predicting Arsenal to win Monaco, Barcelona to win Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City to win Juventus, this three match is the only ones I'm interested on today, what's your thoughts about those games or do you have other game in mind?.

It's ironic when Mbappe is starting to do much better and then unfortunately then pick up an injury. Anyway, I'm glad Real Madrid were able to get a win after a while of back to back lost to Ac Milan and Liverpool. There's still hope for round of 16th and it's good to see Vinicius Junior back to the squad while Jude Bellingham is also in an excellent form. Although I hope Mbappe injury is not too serious and I want see another excellence performance from Rodrygo, this season he has not really been catching head lines but this is especially because of his injuries.

An amazing match I didn't expect there to be many goals in that match, Real Madrid played aggressively from the start they knew that this match was very important, being able to bring home 3 points reopened the way to qualify for the next phase. Atalanta also deserves appreciation they were very calm in playing the rhythm of building attacks fortunately Real Madrid's defense was very good if not Atalanta would have scored more than two goals.

Congrats if you bet on it because both of your choices happened.    I thought Atalanta wouldn't lose home while doing wonders but I got wrong. Real Madrid finally put an end to their bad streak in the Champions League by a tough fight. Vinicius Junior's comeback made a huge difference though. A goal and an assist... Superb effort! Inter finally conceded the first goal in the tournament.    But it is really difficult to beat them. I'm curious about how far they will manage to progress here.

I have almost no doubt that Real will reach the playoffs, the champion cannot afford another outcome. It was a good match, it is good that Vinicius returned to the game, his presence helped the team, I think that it was precisely because Real's attack was in full force that they were able to score three goals. Mbappe finally played well until he had to be substituted due to an injury. Bellingham was ok, he move before his goal was great although I think the Atalanta defender could have done much better than that. It was so obvious that Bellingham would choose the inside. But if he didn't it would at least not be as dangerous. In my opinion it was bad defense on both sides as the same happened to Real Madrid when Lookman scored. It shouldn't go like that. But apart from those goals it was an exciting game and it could have gone both ways. For Real Madrid that win was of course crucial.

Yesterday's match Real Madrid against Atlanta was very tough, we haven't seen today's matches but the match will be one of the best matches of the week, what a performance from both teams, Real Madrid and Atlanta played well in the game and I will say the match is 50/50 play because Real dominate the game from the first half and also some minute in the second half but after scoring 3 goals Atlanta start pressure Real Madrid and that pressure make Atlanta score 2 goals in the match.

I said before the match that Real Madrid is going to take this match more seriously than Atlanta because Real Madrid needs to win the match in other to make them stand at the qualifying position in the league table, Real Madrid players played well yesterday even when they are not in good shape this season, Kylian Mbappe performance is coming back because, throughout his last two matches, we can see that he has to adapt as a striker and know how to score a goal when he has a chance.
