I was totally amazed by the two UEFA Champions League matches yesterday. One of which was a match between Manchester City and Sporting CP. In this match I had predicted Manchester City to win easily but I was completely surprised by their performance as they lost the match 4-1.On the other hand, Real Madrid is constantly disappointing their fans. This time in the UEFA Champions League, they started well but suddenly they lost their rhythm. Especially since they were beaten 4-0 by Barcelona at their home ground in La Liga, we've seen how weak this team has been.
Everyone expected Real Madrid to win the UEFA Champions League match between AC Milan and Real Madrid. But Real Madrid couldn't prove it on the field, they failed again at home. Real Madrid's performance is very bad at the moment, if they continue to play like this in every match, they may not be able to win any title this season.

However, Real Madrid performed well against Dortmund in the next match and Madrid won 5-2. We considered Real Madrid as favorites in today's home match as well. But Madrid lost today's match too.
Madrid's overall gameplay has not been consistent this season. We thought Madrid would be stronger if Mbappe was in the Madrid squad. But this season the Madrid team seems weaker. Mbappe is not in good form, while Vini, Bellingham and Rodry are not performing well for Real Madrid. Real Madrid lost two home matches in a row.
I didn't expect that Real Madrid as the host could be defeated by the visiting team and I personally bet on Real Madrid's victory in that match because I thought that Real Madrid would be able to win that match, but it's a shame that this time my prediction failed.
Finally with minimal player conditions without a substitute who has the same quality Madrid crumbled at the Bernabeu. Losing 1-3 to Ac Milan was proof that Madrid lacked players. Another current condition is the role of Mbaape who is not maximized, he is very rarely responsible when the ball is lost. Madrid s ball control is now poor, leaving only Modric as an old player and losing the figure of Toni Kross. Bellingham must also perform more than today. Too many surprises to take in. The last seasons champions Real Madrid lost 3-1 against AC Milan in Santiago Bernabeu. The game was largely dominated by Real but they failed to score while AC Milan were able to score three goals. The only goal for Real was through penalty. Prior champion Manchester City lost to Sporting CP 4-1. Here too City was in full control of the ball. They were the first to score but after that even though they having dominance, FC Sporting scored 5 goals, 2 through penalty. Thanks to the newer format, there are still chances otherwise the performance of so called big teams had been inconsistent on the league.
Real Madrid has no game philosophy. There is a system based on memorization and players. Barnebau also conceded 4 points from Barça and conceded 3 points from Milan in the Championship League. Things are definitely not going well in Real.

I remember saying it here that AC Milan can win against Madrid. All they need to do is press them hard and be clinical. Madrid is not good at the moment, they just rely on individual brilliance to win games.
Their midfield is so poor and it affects the defence which is not that good either.
If the attack was good, they might not feel it much because they'll keep attacking and scoring, but the attack is not good either, they're al out of form. Last season, Madrid's midfield was not all that, but they were good at one thing and that is winning balls. They knew how to win back balls and give them to the attack to create chances or score, but this season, the midfield is not clicking. They can't win those balls and even when they do, the attack can't make use of it.
Any team that is clinical enough and can press Madrid has a very big chance of winning Madrid. If a team knows how to keep the ball, then there's a big chance Madrid will lose. This is why I'm fairly certain Madrid will lose their next match against Liverpool.

First of all congratulations to Sporting on beating Manchester City convincingly, I made a bet in support of Sporting to win Manchester City when I noticed a change in the odd of the two teams, Sporting initial off was 4.50 while Manchester City odd was 1.70 but before the match started the odd of Sporting reduced to 3.60 while Manchester City's odd rose to 2.05. Bettors are supposed to understand that something is going to happen in the game but I know that most people still choose City to win because of their name. It would have been a lucky day for me but adding Real Madrid to the pick made everything red.
I couldn't believe with my eyes that Manchester City and Real Madrid would have an unexpected disgracing match loss again. It is really hard to believe that people's favorite clubs for the Champions League trophy are the ones losing in this manner, while the ones viewed as small teams are smiling all through because of the good performances that they had over the big teams. Making correct football predictions these days can only come from a great luck. No one literally saw these two massive defeat coming. Real madrid losing at home is very weird. Oh, they lost to Barce, that's fine, because everybody can understand that, but losing to AC Milan that has struggled in this UCL is very funny. Like I have said,.and I will keep saying, something is missing in this current Madrid team. I can't really tell, but I have this feeling that something is not just right.
And as for Manchester city, this is their third defeat in a row, which I don't think has ever happened since pep took charge (please correct me if I'm wrong). 4-1 loss is very massive for a team like Man City. It's quite obvious that Rodri's absence is a problem for Manchester city. Well, all I can say is congratulations to those that won, and a better luck to those that loss.

I think Manchester City really need Rodri and Kelvin De Bruyne back in that team just last week in the English premier league they lost to Bournemouth a struggling team @sim-card it was against Bournemouth Manchester City lost to and not Brighton as you said, now they lost to sporting Lisbon not just with a 1 or 2 goals difference but 3 I think they missed these two guys Rodri and Kelvin De Bruyne.
Man City's lineup this time is quite controversial, maybe because some key players are actually reserves, while Rodri himself is still undergoing treatment after an injury. de Bruyne and Nathan Aken are reserves, hmm.Even though Haaland did come on full time, he couldn't score a single goal. The Liverpool game was really interesting, Liverpool came with a surprise they Leverkusen team never expected. While the game was going on I still see that confidence on these Bayer Leverkusen guys, they play a very clean and united football even though they were losing it didn't show up on them. I was even scared for Liverpool that this game might turn out to be a draw or the Leverkusen side winning because they (Leverkusen) are the master of come back but tonight the EPL side put a stop to that before it happens. Slot has been on the winning path since he joined Liverpool and if he continues like this he'd be among the top 5 teams to win the UCL.

I agree that this week's match was really crazy many favorite teams lose even when they play at home is this a coincidence? I checked the Manchester City squad and they played with the main players the same thing as Real Madrid played with the main squad but somehow they can't do anything. We only see Liverpool as the most consistent team of 4 matches whereas before Liverpool was not a reliable team, it will be very interesting to wait for how the Champions League in the next fight.

Yes, in both matches, the defense was quite weak and in fact, even if it is seen, the team cannot perform due to lack of crucial players. Real Madrid needs to bring up some new players who can replace the injured player. In the January transfer window, someone must be brought in to replace Dani Carvajal, otherwise, I don't think that Real Madrid will be able to play the rest of the season in a fair style. Because I observed that since Dani Carvajal's injury, all teams have targeted Lucas Vazquez's wing. So Real Madrid should put more emphasis on defense.
