Dortmund's win and Juventus' draw were exactly what was expected, but Real and City's defeat was something I couldn't predict, especially Real's defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu, where Real rarely loses. There were many surprising results in the fourth round of the Champions League, including Borussia Dortmund who could only win by a small score, Real Madrid who lost to AC Milan, Juventus who failed to get full points & Manchester City who lost by a big score. The fourth round is not over yet, today we will see some other matches, i think we will still see other surprises later.

Mbappe deserved to be benched, but I don't believe that blame may be just him in the Real Madrid team. Real Madrid needed defense, the defense was terrible, and I was sure that Carvajal's absence had begun to affect their performance. Lucas Vasquez couldn't stop one of their opponents' attackers in the last two games. Every position in the Real Madrid squad performed poorly against Milan; Valverde didn't play, in my opinion, and Ancelotti could have started Camavinga instead of Tchouméni, who looked bad in midfield. Madrid was defeated by a team that struggled in their last Champions League games. It's disappointing for them to lose such a game at home in the Champions League.

However, this is the reason I want to start criticizing Ancelotti as manager of Real Madrid, he never showed any confidence in his young players and always preferred Mbappe. it's beginning to show in every game that the champions league isn't all about past trophies or who is with the  most popular squad. The same way real Madrid lost at home, even Manchester City suffered similar fate against sporting Lisbon against the projection of ponters. The Dortmund game made it look like the last season real Madrid that was sensational is finally back but after they lost greatly to Barca and still suffered a 3:0 loss to inter with the 1 goal coming from a penalty shoot out, it goes to show that the  team isn't still balance till date.

It even gets worse when you consider that the coming games is against Liverpool that's toping the league and Atalanta  which are good and haven't lost a game in the premier League even when they've played against arsenal. If two of those games gives any negative results, it's going to bring the question regarding how ready real Madrid is to defend the UCL championship.

I watched the Celtic - Leipzig match. The first 10 minutes were spent in mutual attacks and the ball was in one goal or another. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Leipzig scored from the corner and then put Celtic to shame in terms of play. Celtic couldn't make the ball. Leipzig immediately grabbed the ball and counterattacked with their pressing game, but could not find the second goal.
Celtic's in-form striker scored an excellent goal to make it 1-1. After this goal, Celtic dominated the game. A minute was added to the end of the match and the goal kick was in Leipzig. Celtic pressed offensively and grabbed the ball and Kühn made the score 2-1.

I didn't know Leipzig was this bad in the Champions League. It has a quality squad and suffered its first defeat in the league against Dortmund last week. I thought it would start with the Celtic match, but it didn't happen, 4 matches and 0 points. The remaining matches are also difficult. I can say that the top 8 was a dream for Leipzig this year.

That is the major reason why he is currently struggling in the team, a change of position can affect the players abilities because he will not be familiar with his new role and his movements will all be different and adapting to the new role can be difficult for most players. Mbappe is a goal scorer but that doesn’t make him a striker and the sooner Ancellotti knows this the better. Mbappe and Vinicius are good from playing on the left wing and that is why they have moved Mbappe to play as a striker and clearly it’s not favoring the team i just hope they can change things as soon as possible.

Its now 3 consecutive losses for Manchester City in all competitions, they lost to Tottenham, Bournemouth and now Sporting. It’s very bad for Guardiola and his team, no one knows where the problem is but they have actually dropped in performance they could lose their title if things continue this way but they are still in the title race.

It’s the story for Real Madrid they have lost 2 games consecutively and also lost their last 2 Champions League matches which makes everyone doubt their ability to win the Champions League this season again. The best teams are currently struggling but i am sure it won’t be for long.

I'm watching the reruns of Man City's game last night and I'm just seeing that City couldn't boast of ten coordinated passes in the second half, like they became utterly clueless after the goals started pouring down like rain.
Sporting were not even shaken when City would make runs to get goals because they had confidence in the strength of their defense and to me that further helped to frustrate Pep's boys.
 You know what's amusing? This won't be the last time Pep Guardiola will be seeing Ruben Amorim and if the Portuguese can maintain this fine form he had while coaching Sporting and continued it with Man UTD, I think it will be safe to say that teams in the Premier league would have to buckle up because Man UTD would be too hot to handle.

It took them too long enough and I thought they will have learned their lesson when Barcelona dealt with them but I guess they were too busy living in fool's paradise to do anything about it.
I just wish thar more teams in the Laliga continue to take advantage of this flaw and punish them.

Liverpool put in another good performance in the Champions League round 4 at Anfield.
The return of Xabi to Anfield delighted the Anfield faithful, but the Anfield faithful were satisfied with what the team gave.
The 4-0 result showed that Liverpool were the only team that still showed a level of stability as an elite team that did not change.

Only Liverpool won in a promising way because at the same time, the strong candidate for the Champions League title had to lose. Real Madrid surprisingly lost to AC Milan at the Santiago Bernabeu. Manchester City also lost 4-1 at Sporting. Real Madrid before the match started was considered the favorite to win, but the situation turned out to be the opposite.

I also assessed Milan's chances in this match before the start of the game, but either Milan with Fonseca is starting to progress, or Real's crisis has a more significant impact on the team than previously assumed. Last season we saw a great bonding between Bellingham and Vini. At the same time, Toni Kroos kept Real Madrid's entire midfield stable. This season I miss Toni Kross in the Real Madrid squad. The performance of Madrid's midfielders is also not stable. This is one of the reasons for Madrid's erratic performance.

Mbappe has yet to settle in well with Madrid's players. Mbappe is not in good form. We can't see a better performance from Vini and ROdrygo at the same time. Vini has scored 5 goals and 4 assists this season. Rodrygo managed to score 3 goals. Mbappe however managed to score 6 goals and 1 assist in 10 matches. However, fans expected more from Mbappe. But Mbappe completely failed to meet the expectations of fans.

To be honest Madrid defeat surprised me a lot and even most of us here will not think that Madrid can lose quite miserably to Milan, before the match starts, I personally see that Madrid has a bigger advantage to win the matc, in addition playing at the Bernabeu, of course the difference in the performance of the two teams is very different at the moment,  Milan haven't been able to find their best form so far but in the match against Madrid of course they looked very spartan, I think this defeat shows that Madrid need to improve some aspects of their game, especially in defence and finishing.

In addition from Madrid who got a negative result this week, Manchester City also continued their slump by also getting a defeat from Sporting, despite being able to take a quick lead in that the match through Foden, but the incredible comeback from the Amorim squad made Manchester City extend their losing list to 3 consecutive matches, I think not only the Sporting fans smiled after the victory,  But it seems that Manchester united fans are also starting to look happy at this time seeing their new coach candidate can destroy their main rival .

Both Barcelona and Liverpool's performances were erratic last season. But these two teams are in very good rhythm so far this season. Liverpool have won all four of their matches in the Champions League. and have occupied the top spot in the points table. At the same time, the top position of the Premier League is also occupied by Liverpool.

Barcelona are in a very good position after Hansi Flick became the coach of Barcelona. Barcelona have performed very erratically last season. However, Barcelona's overall performance this season is very good. At the same time Lewandowski, Yamal, Olmo and Raphinha are able to perform well in every match. The two teams fit to dominate the Champions League this season are Liverpool and Barcelona.

But it was the same Ancelotti and his tactics that made real Madrid unstoppable last season? How is it that all of a sudden the tactics are no longer good? The Madrid players are always getting lots of scoring chances but they keep missing it and why is that. Their play is not that bad but why is that all of a sudden Madrid has fallen so bad. For me the introduction of Mbappe to this real Madrid side is killing the team. Because their is no other explanation to their falling this season.

Oh mate, we thought it all wrong, the result of the game took a different dimension as AC Milan was rather the better side in match given an embarrassing 1:3 defeat to Real Madrid at home. The poor performance rather came from the home team with their poor defensive high lines that lacked solidity, and inability to take control of the midfield additional to lack of shots accuracy in their quest for goals. In fact, there was no connections between the players, and I think it's high time Ancelotti talk to his squad about team's effort and coordination rather theu focusing much on individual abilities to win games, the tactics isn't working fine for them anymore.

Real Midred and Manchester city cut many people ticket yesterday, because they failed to win their games in the UEFA champion league game, for AC Milan to beat Real Midred 1:3 show that something is wrong with Real Midred players in this tournament because they have potential squads in this season to face AC Milan to secure victory, but their display was very poor. I still have hope on Real Midred, that they will recover all those losses to top the table before the end of this tournament but it will be hard for them to win this UEFA champions league trophy base on their early displayed.

Liverpool and Barcelona are the major teams to lift the trophy because they are playing well to increase their points to maintain a good position that will lead one of the team to lift the trophy.

Mbappe is crap and he deserved to be benched. Actually, zero contribution from him in our last two games. I don't like to see him as a part of the starting line-up. We played so badly with him on our side.

It's also pathetic to see Ancellotti freeze out Endrick and Arda. He made them just stood by and watched as their club got massacred. I don't know what the hell is wrong with the old man. He seems to be so clueless and has no trust to the young players to help the club.
