The games in this round didn't surprise me much, but I expected Fenerbahce to get a more comfortable victory than the result they had in the first leg. They played very well, but they made some very silly mistakes and in 3 days they will have to play at home and with a lead of only 1 goal, something that doesn't give them much comfort. They will have to play with greater concentration in defense to at least get a draw, which could guarantee them a place in the next game. My question is:

If Fenerbahce manages to reach the group stage of the European Champions League, would they be able to finish in first or second place in the group stage?

The Turkish teams have not been able to get very far in the European Champions League, which is why I don't have high expectations for Fenerbahce in the European Champions League games. Even the Portuguese teams have not been able to reach the final either. The teams from Spain, Italy, Germany and England are the dominant ones, and from what I see this dominance will not be broken any time soon. It's funny to see France only having PSG who still haven't managed to win the European Champions League.

Kane has no titles at all and the situations are completely different on all sides. I'm not saying that a player like Mbappe is a panacea, but he significantly strengthens an already very strong squad that is capable of winning the Champions League. Real have been playing at the highest level in the Champions League for the last couple of seasons, so I don't rule out that happening again this season
These two players are of course quite different because Mbappe has won many trophies with PSG, but he failed to win the UCL trophy with PSG. And if Harry Kane certainly hasn't tasted a prestigious trophy with his old team or with Bayern Munich so he is quite ambitious to win a trophy this season. So speaking of these two players, of course they are strikers who are hungry for goals because they are often the top scorers on the teams they play for. For this reason, we will see how they fare in the Champions League this season.
For Real Madrid, they are getting stronger and in my opinion, Mbappe's arrival has made them favorites again to become champions this season.
Apart from that, we cannot forget the words of luck and surprises that will decorate the Champions League journey this season. Will Leverkusen make a surprise in the Champions League because previously Leverkusen broke many records in their journey in the European league and in the domestic league.

Madrid is the best team in the UCL ever and the fact that they have Mbappe now means that they would want to try and win it again this year since the UCL is one of the biggest trophies that Mbappe is yet to win even though he fought very hard to win it during his time at PSG. Despite this fact, I still maintain my stance that Madrid might not win the UCL despite everyone's predictions. Mbappe's lack of UCL reminds me of Harry Kane's lack of a trophy  Tongue
I thought I am the only one who thinks that despite the team Real Madrid has, they can end up not winning the Champions League next season because I am expecting some teams to be in the race to win the Champions League including Manchester City, Bayern Leverkusen, Arsenal, and others and these teams can defeat Madrid despite their squad we all know how football works sometimes. Moreover, the Champions League draws might favor some teams just as it did last season to Borussia Dortmund as they became the finalist against Madrid.

Mbappé can win the Champions League with Madrid but not as fast as he wants, but Kane’s situation is completely different because I don’t think he has won a trophy in his entire career including the international level.

I think you're honestly wrong, in my opinion Real Madrid gives more importance to the Champions League, in fact the season in which Barcelona won (two years ago) they actually abandoned La Liga to focus on the Champions League.  I don't know about Manchester City, but for Real Madrid the priority is the Champions League.

Real Madrid abandoned La Liga in the last two seasons because they were not in better form, Ancelotti believes that their strength was not enough to win La Liga and the Champions League in the previous two seasons, so they gave up La Liga and focused on the Champions League; at the end of the season, Real Madrid was unable to win a single trophy because in the Champions League, they were eliminated by Manchester City in the semifinals. Real Madrid performance last season showed that the Champions League was not their top target, they focused on every competition, which is why they won as many trophies as possible.

However, if Barcelona get the players they are about to sign before the start of next season, they will have a chance to win La Liga over Real Madrid, they must be consistent with their games, not like how they were last season when they lost to weak teams. I believe they will be able to defeat Real Madrid next season and win La Liga, but they will not be able to win the Champions League.
How about now, Real Madrid are currently in their best form they would ever wished to be in other for them to compete for as much titles and I don't see any chances of them losing the La Liga not even to Barcelona who has been the most contender. Barcelona are still building up their team with new players/coach and a lot of mistakes would be made causing them to lose points unlike Madrid that is already balanced. Mbappe seems to have blended too quick with the team making them already perfect and a bigger threat especially in the La Liga.

Barcelona are not even close to win the Champions League, seems not even Madrid aswell but Manchester City are up to their game this time, and they just the favourite to win it this time.
Barcelona has dropped in performance, and I do not see them as a threat to Real Madrid winning the LA Liga. There are teams like Athletico Bilbao, Athletico Madrid and some other clubs that have been a very serious competitor for the title last season, and we expect them to do the same this season. However, with the current form of Real Madrid, I do not see any team that would win the title if not Real Madrid. It's like a tie round about their necks that is difficult to remove.

I agree with you because for some years now Barcelona has not even been close to win the league. Which has proven that they are not up to the task. Although they are showing wave in the last UCL competition and i expect them to do same this time.

It's an obvious choice for them, they are truly a royal club, the most titled club in the history of the Champions League, of course they will focus on this tournament, moreover now they have a new star player in the team on whom everyone has high hopes, so I think in the next few years they will win at least once. But the fact is that with the conditions they have now, they could easily win La Liga.

Madrid is the best team in the UCL ever and the fact that they have Mbappe now means that they would want to try and win it again this year since the UCL is one of the biggest trophies that Mbappe is yet to win even though he fought very hard to win it during his time at PSG. It's true that they never miss the UCL, in fact every year they always bring in top players, their finances are stable which makes Madrid always the strongest candidate to win the UCL every season, this is what all clubs should set an example to be able to maintain the club's finances so that they can  Competing with big clubs, Barcelona should have to follow the example of its rivals in financial matters so that it is stable under any circumstances, it is difficult for Barcelona if financial matters always concern them because the problem lies there, so whatever happens Barcelona still has to compete even with current players.  At least Barcelona is always consistent in any league so that they always get a pot of money from sponsorships or player sales.
In recent seasons Perez has been quite good at managing Madrid's money although it cannot be denied that their spending on some players is quite expensive but they are smart enough to minimize spending.

We take the example of last season even though they spent 130 million for a Jude but they brought in other players at quite cheap prices and even free where they got good service from Fran Garcia, Joselu and even Brahim Diaz so that spending more than 100 million for Jude seemed to be worth it.

In addition, they have not even spent a lot of money this season because if you look at what Madrid has done this season only about 40 million they have just spent on transfer fees but have already won Mbappe and Endrick which is clearly intended for their attack line so by looking at this condition I think the way of working and financial management from Madrid is really very good and it deserves to be appreciated so it is quite natural that until now Madrid is one of the clubs that has never wavered in terms of competition and finance.

Yes, Madrid is one of the teams that always participate in the Champions League, they have quality players from the beginning and the team has made name that make it a favorite for all players. To achieve such greatness is not easy for any team because they need money to do make such moves for players of higher caliber.
Real Madrid's financial stability is with the help of the bonuses they do get whenever they win trophy, and for them to be the best club in the world they are signing players of higher caliber and do get huge profit while selling them; but Barcelona started having issues since the departure of Messi which is not proper and I blame the management for going financially unstable for a big team like Barcelona.

This is the reason why I have the feelings that Real Madrid is going to win this tournament of the Champions league or at least to say that they have high chances of winning. Much more than the Barcelona, Real Madrid have a great set of squad depth right now that they can boast of. Aside from that advantage, they also have a strong and well experienced manager like Ancelotti who understands how to lead the club to achieve their best. Real Madrid also have a good financial capacity to take more places in at any transfer windows available to them. I don't really think that Real Madrid have anything to regret now.

If they're talking about the Champions League champion, I don't think Barcelona will be ranked fifth because I'm convinced they'll be in a poor performance next season due to a lack of players. Since Mbappe came to Madrid, I started believing that Real Madrid will try to win the Champions League again because Mbappe made the team stronger and the laliga Madrid are still the favourites of winning the trophy in the league, UCL next season will change and you will see different performances and Madrid will play with many other clubs before the next round, Ancelotti will definitely do everything possible to make the team win the Champions League back to back like how Manchester City win the Premier League back to back. I am no longer concerned of Guadiola since he is the only coach who can prevent Real Madrid from winning the UCL. However, now that Mbappe is in the club, the team is already great and I see any player with the same speed as Mbappe. In the club, the defender will suffer before he is stopped from scoring a goal on the pitch. Let's see how the following season goes and if Real Madrid can make their fans proud by winning all of the titles in which they participate.

So PSG have always been depending on Mbappe all this years? Now that he has left they’ll have to ride on their own and I don’t think they’ll have a hard time to get on themselves and let it go. PSG is not a weak team and with the quality of players they have now, they can as well be champions and go far in the competition. Luis Enrique is a trusted coach and I’m sure he won’t fail the team this season again.
Nobody said that PSG depends entirely to Mbappe but Mbappe's presence can provide strength. Still every club needs teamwork and does not fully depend on one player. When cooperation is well formed, they can work well together to produce a far more consistent game. To become a champion in the Champions League it was difficult because before they also had three big stars in the team but still failed to win the Champions League.

Luis Enrique must build strength to be more solid and not only rely on one player. When this cooperation is formed, then the team will be much stronger and far more able to play collectively. Mbappe's replacement figure is indeed needed so that the PSG front line remains stronger and that becomes a job that must be completed by management and coach..

PSG is currently eyeing several players that they will bring in this transfer window, none other than the goal as we know so that this giant French team can remain a competitive team, either for the Domestic League or in the Champions League. Mbappe's departure makes them lack sharpness in the front line, but Mbappe's departure does not mean that the team cannot be much more competitive. that is why, currently Enrique is building a new strength for PSG by bringing in several names that they are targeting. on the contrary, without Mbappe, Enrique can choose to prioritize the collectivity of his players. not always the players they are targeting are like the typical Mbappe, that is why they are targeting Osimhem even though Napoli is reluctant to let him go if the price is not in accordance with the price they set. the point is I am sure, especially Enrique, knows what he has to do including in terms of bringing in new arrivals in this transfer window. several striker names are on their radar, but so far none have been confirmed to be brought to their headquarters related to several striker names.  The transfer window hunt is not over yet, let's just monitor every development made by PSG before the new season starts. The point is, after Mbappe left, PSG is trying to keep their squad competitive in the Champions League with several newcomers they can rely on.

Barcelona may not have the capacity to win the champions League this season but they will do their best in trying to get a good fight in thw champions league, we all know that Madrid exhibits that very great potential to winning the champions league at this time much more than almost every other team but it still down rule out thw Chances all others have got in winning the champions league, they have an excellent coach and all of every other aspects of the team appears to be intact so most definitely they remain potentially top but ita still not going to be an easy one.

Continuing to build a strong team every season always gives Madrid more opportunities to win the Champions League and even their domestic trophies. That is the reason why Real Madrid is always a dream destination for many world-class players. Now, Real Madrid has made the Champions League their favorite trophy. I wish some top teams in Europe could be like Real Madrid; it would be a great thing. Barcelona always tries to strengthen their squad every season, but financial issues sometimes prevent them from doing so.If not for these financial problems, I believe Barcelona could strengthen their squad by adding world class players, just as Real Madrid has done against next season.

Apart from financial and management differences, at least differences also occur in regeneration. After all, so far Real Madrid has never really lost any great players in the team, so even though their key players leave or retire, in reality Real Madrid still manages to maintain its performance to remain good and consistent throughout the season. Meanwhile for Barcelona, when key players leave, in reality Barcelona needs time to adjust to the players in their squad.

Although indeed, when only one or two key Barcelona players leave, but in reality there are still other main players who are still available but still, Barcelona finds it difficult to have a good performance even though there are only slight changes in the team. Thus, of course Barcelona is still often left behind by Real Madrid, moreover Real Madrid's trophy haul in the Champions League is really hard to beat.

PSG cannot be underestimated even though Mbappe is no longer playing there because PSG's game next season will be much more solid because they don't have to think about one person. Luis Enrique is one of the coaches who has the ability to bring PSG to play better and I'm sure they will be much better than last season.

So PSG have always been depending on Mbappe all this years? Now that he has left they’ll have to ride on their own and I don’t think they’ll have a hard time to get on themselves and let it go. PSG is not a weak team and with the quality of players they have now, they can as well be champions and go far in the competition. Indeed, PSG does not depend on Mbappe, but losing Mbappe has a big impact on PSG's front line, especially when competing in the UCL league competition. Of course, without a sharp striker, it will be difficult for PSG to win this season's match in the UCL league unless PSG gets a suitable replacement for Mbappe. Because the UCL League is very tight and the teams competing in the UCL league have very strong squads such as Real Madrid and Man City.

No one doubts coach Enrique's expertise in building a stronger team and there is no doubt that PSG can win League One next season even without Mbappe. However, you need to know that PSG will only be strong in the domestic league, but with the squad it currently has, PSG will be helpless when in the UCL league competition.

Mourinho managed to win in his first match coaching Fenerbache, as you said Fenerbache was lucky enough to maintain their victory after Lugano tried to catch up with them in that match, but to be honest, I haven't seen many changes that have occurred in Fenerbache current style of play and If you pay attention, it seems that the Fenerbache players have not been able to maximize  from Mourinho style and playing strategy, So far we know Mourinho as a coach who often applies solid defense (parking the bus) when they are ahead, but in fact in this match it was very visible that the defense possessed by Fenerbache is very fragile even though at the end of the match they were able to secure the victory, the first leg may be in accordance with Fenerbache hopes but the second leg will be very difficult even though Fenerbache will play at home.
José Mourinho in turkey and expects quite different dimensions and heighten level with the coach. He have his own style of play and his oppositions are there to ensure he doesn't secure his ambitious run with his new club. Perhaps one of the good thing to happen to Fenerbahçe this season. We know the records been set by José Mourinho in Europe and he's not bending down because he will fight his way through for the purpose to lift major titles for Fenerbahçe.

Very important victory for Fener and Mourinho against Lugano in away game. This victory placed them with first odds to qualify further and I'm well surprised to see Fener having a strong attack and score 4 goals but I'm a bit shocked to see a team of Mourinho conceding 3 goals in his first important game and I'm sure he will work a lot more in defense because it's clear that his team needs to learn his tactics of having a great defensive style. Overall , I think Fener did enough to secure the next phase of UCL qualifiers and they do have real chances to catch the groups.  Cool
Mourinho main target at the moment is to restore Fenerbache glory as well as break Galatasaray dominance in the Turkish league, fenerbache have very big ambitions and that is why they dare to recruit a very experienced coach like Mourinho at the moment and it looks like Mourinho will be able to do it, but on one condition that he will get full support from of Fenerbache management, currently Mourinho has brought Fenerbache to a slightly higher ladder in the Champions League qualification but there will be a difficult job currently waiting for Mourinho in the next match, so far the Champions League and even the qualifying phase present very tight competition so that each team It requires concentration and a qualified squad to be able to qualify for the next round, although I doubt that Fenerbache will be able to talk much in the Champions League next season, but I hope that Mourinho will be able to repeat his current success like when he coached Porto in last 2004.
Mourinho is one man that enjoys attention, so in getting that attention, he needs to give Galatasaray a run for their money in the Turkish domestic League, and he has started bringing brilliant players to help him achieve that, he has just recently signed one of the best forwarders in England Allan Saint-Maximin from Newcastle united, Saint-Maximin is one player i admire his style of play and dribbling skills so much, Mourinho really has the eagles eyes. Let's just have a dose of the special one again in the champions league.

Those are Fenerbahçe firing on all cylinders, folks. Mourinho is seeing that team playing with a whole different vitality. Trust me; you win when Mourinho is in your corner. You bring great wins. But those three goals against is not good. In those are early days. He is the master of defence, Mourinho. He will get that backline taken care of quickly. This was merely a minor glitch, a blip on the radar. You see; they'll be a brick wall shortly enough. Its great to have Mourinho back in the Champions League, really. The guy is a legend. He knows how to prevail. And on this Fenerbahçe squad? They have potential. Actual promise. They will be a force to be reckoned with if they maintain this.

Financial constraints should never be an excuse by any team not to be in their best form and blame it on that. They’re suppose to have made management to their finances to avoid issues like this that will affect their overall performance on the league and other tournaments they’re participating in. Barcelona are far left behind in terms of financial resources because it has been for few seasons now they’ve been complaining about finances and if they don’t fix it sooner, they’ll soon fade away in the gleam light because the best players won’t want to settle for less play to continue their career there, at least that was not their aim was only to be a footballer, it also lies in how much a team is willing to pay them to keep them. Real Madrid have really set a good example and they should emulate them also. I don’t think Barcelona will be too affected by this financial crisis but it will still affect them in their overall performance.

I think the problem is from the coach mentality because PSG has money and they should be able to buy a professional coach that will be able to use the resources he has to win UCL. Why I said this is because when PSG had the best players in the club that was when their performance in UCL was worst which means he doesn't know how to mange quality players.

Mbappe will definitely be missed by the club but I believe that another striker will take his role and we will be surprised on how he will be scoring goals even though he might not be as sharp as Mbappe because there are some critical matches that Mbappe experience will turn the game around in favor of PSG so those moments will be missed.
