Arsenal couldn't do much when facing a team with a good defense, even they were lucky enough to bring home 1 point. Arsenal controlled the game in a quarter of the match, but they slowly lost their balance, it was very clear. Even in terms of statistics Atalanta is superior in various aspects, Arteta squad really lost creativity when their key players were absent. As we all know that Atalanta is a surprising team, they are the champions of the Europa League last season, clearly they are not easy to beat by Arsenal.

Clearly the draw is a bad capital to face Man City in the Premier League, Arteta is really faced with a very tough challenge. If Arteta had recruited a sharper number 9 player in the transfer window yesterday, maybe they would have easily won every match. Their next opponent in the Champions League is even more difficult to beat, because PSG also has a fairly good squad depth. In the end, Arsenal journey was very steep, lucky if they could get through this difficult period undefeated.

Atlanta were just playing base on instructions we all know how dangerous Arsenal as a Club are when it comes to set pieces that will lead to an air attack. Arsenal have players who are very good in the air and this has been one of their routes to getting goals. Last season Arsenal defender Gabriel had 6 goals with which all of them were headed goals from set pieces. Yesterday Atlanta knew Arsenal wanted to use it against them and stopped them from doing, if I can remember the only corner against Tottenham in the league was the goal they got to score and win the match so maybe most teams are actually studying how they arsenal had deployed method to get goals off opponents.

Overall yesterday Arsenal were simply just poor, I think Arteta needs to find solutions to the lack of creativity coming from the midfield in the absence of Their club captain. Against Manchester city it will be very risky to try out a new formation yeh so they could stick to the Tottenham formation for now but if it doesn’t work again like the previous too matches then it will be worth for Arteta to actually experiment the young man Ethan Nweri who is their only creative midfielder left

Sure their stat was somehow poor tbh but they made use of their shot despite they didn't had alot of chance like Monaco did, Monaco had upto  18+ shots I think while Barcelona had less than five  shots attempt inqhich they had 1 to be successful out of it. They had to do more of defensive playing due to one of the back player gone the coach had to use another strategy to keep the team balance,inshort they tried... even though I thought it's gonna be a draw or win, the second half was a little bit tougher than I expected but nevertheless, it was a 2 to nil which Is not too far to close.

Aside the first day games, I don't think I enjoyed any of the other games that I saw. I watched Liverpool, City and Arsenal games and all of those games except for Liverpool were nothing to write home about. Imagine Atalanta and Arsenal sitting very deep for the entire game. It was a pain to watch. That match reminded me of how Nottingham Forest had an airtight defense against Liverpool in the premier league and it got them the win because Liverpool wasn't playing the same tactics and used a high line instead. This is beside the point though. I'm looking forward to future games hopefully they'd be a lot more interesting to watch.

I don't want to see City playing goalless draws with anybody.

Obviously everyone knows that Barcelona is far far better than Monaco. Monaco is a small club they are really not the most competitive club in the UEFA champions league despite Barcelona being big. In the match between them everyone is expecting that Barcelona will be victorious but at the end they lost the match. Here is guys point to be noted recently Barcelona have won their league matches with good strength and when it's come the turn of UEFA champions league they lost their first match although Barcelona are more favorite for winning. Guys it is a UEFA champions league not a La Liga it is much harder than La Liga not easy like La Liga. Therefore Barcelona are lost again they don't have any good quality in UEFA champions league competition always they got failed. UEFA champions league is not like La Liga it's too hard. It's need a lot of effort. UCL is a competitive league, and only clubs like Real Madrid have this kind of ability to win this title not like Barcelona.

For Barcelona i think it's not only you who surprised they will lost from Monaco because previously we have already to talking about this match and mostly people are very confident Barcelona can able to overcomes Monaco because in Laliga they were unstoppable but in fact they have lost and i am sure most of bettors have already to lost their money through an this match

Besides Barcelona we have seen too Arsenal has unexpected result and similar to Barcelona we all know Arsenal performance in Premier league is very impressive but in this competition Arsenal has opposite performance and they even almost be lost from Atalanta but luckily David Raya was performing well at that time and Arsenal can avoiding to lost

New format of Champion league indeed very interesting because on week 1 we have seen some of big teams were failed to beat their opponents but this is only the beginning of league and those who already gets unsatisfactory results still have a time to bounce back as long as they can win from their opcoming match

Barcelona's start to the Champions League season was poor; they lost to AS Monaco. It was a defeat that surely hurt, but all the same, Barcelona still has the chance to make amends in the next game. Sure enough, in their second game, playing against Young Boys, Barcelona should capitalize on this opportunity and get three points because, especially because Young Boys do not have the same strength as Monaco.

But the real test will be in the third match, against Bayern Munich. Bayern, on the other hand, have seen a great improvement in performance after the change of coach and have once again proven how strong they are in Europe: a resounding 9-2 victory over Dinamo as evidence of their current lethal form. Barcelona has to watch out because Bayern are known to be a team that more often than not kills off their opponents with big scores. It will be a very difficult test for Barcelona, playing against Bayern, to demonstrate whether they can compete back again at the top of European competition.

What I noticed at the end of the games was that Atlanta was so observant about a set piece for Arsenal. They rather prefer the ball to go to the throwing side than being a corner. It was just 2/2 corners for both teams before the game ended and the reason for Atlanta being watched over those corners is that Arsenal has created more goal chances during corners. And if they have multiple corners they may end up scoring one and then winning the game. To be honest Atlanta's coach is a good coach and his boys played against Arsenal so well that they deserve more than the draw they got in the game. The penalty would have sealed everything if they had scored it.

An early red card got Barcelona really messy and has to loose rho just by a goal but I rather commend Barcelona even more reasons been that they weren't playing from home and di managed to get a goal even with the red card, it was actually 18 minutes after the card they got an equalizing goal and that git their confidence up awhile untill 71th minutes when their opponent got a second goal and got their defense locked such that Barcelona couldn't penetrate anymore. The red card was one thst could be prevented but it was sad that Garcia fowled too obviously even tho it was a professional one but it was too bad and got him the card that cost his team their victory. Monaco did dominated the game ofcourse they had the advantage over their opponent which was enough to get them such. I believe in subsequent games Barcelona would do better because in this games it was just a challenge on their mentality and not basically the squad, so they can get it right again in their subsequent games if they get that fixed.

I prefer the fact that we drew the game than them winning us they both closed the chances of winning the game for the both of them i was so happy when they lost the penalty because the moment they score that penalty then we are down by one goal and it won't favor because the game was already looking as if their won't be any goal so it they had scored that penalty then their won't be any more chance for us to score, and look at what happened in the game of atletico Madrid and Leipzig, scored 4 minutes after the whistle was blown and after griezmann scored then it was 1:1 looking as their won't be more goals and look at how it turned out to be, at the ending of the game j.m scored the winning goal exactly 90  minutes.



Atlanta showed their self against us and they were unable to score and also they did not allow us to score. When Atalanta was participating in the europa they were very consistent and when we played against them I was convinced that they are also an excellent club. Arsenal already knew them so their was no room if not for that penalty it would have been a clean draw. They were certain that they won't be able to winning us and they also stopped us what a good football insight. And am no longer satisfied with the kind of football that Gabriel Jesus is playing compared to when he came to Arsenal newly. And the game ending draw was not satisfying but it was enough for me. I wanted us to win champions league is more different from the Premier League and i don't think we even have hope of winning the Champions League let us be sincere with our self.

You should know that Barcelona lost because they lost players in the early minutes so of course the game was unbalanced even though Lamine Yamal could equalize in the end the defense was careless and it was exploited by Monaco, this team is also not underestimated because when playing for the Champion League all abilities will be deployed including in the strategy made by the coach himself.

Arsenal has not been as exceptional in the Champions League as they used to be in the Premier League I don’t know why but they need to start showing how good they are in the Champions as well else they won’t be regarded as a strong team. We all didn’t expect a draw from them because Arsenal and Atlanta are both teams that are good in scoring goals so a goalless draw was unexpected. I expected to see Arsenal win but then Atlanta proved that they still got what it takes to challenge them.

Some matches are like that, Maybe Arsenal had a bad day and it is normal for teams to struggle sometimes so i don’t blame them. Arsenal just need to buckle up and put more effort in their game because they need to win a trophy to back up their performance all these years.

There is nothing wrong with Arsenal at all. You are talking as if it was super easy to beat Atalanta in their home stadium, but the truth is that it is damn hard. In particular when they are having a good day and can play their best game. Atalanta, as has been said before here, is the winner of the Europa League last season and let me remind you that they beat Leverkusen 3-0 in that Europa League final!

They could have won the game against Arsenal with a little more luck. In my opinion they are a tough opponent and they can execute a very strategic and patient game and they can bring on a lot of pressure that makes it hard for Arsenal to play their extremely offensive tactics. I think the draw is a fair result without the idea that Arsenal played a horrible game.

Yes, the Champions League is a special competition for the best teams across Europe, definitely its games will be completely different from other domestic leagues since all teams will be playing against best four teams in almost all the top Europe Leagues. You should not expect same performance from any team as they used to play in their local or domestic leagues.

Barcelona lost to Monaco yesterday because of the red card that was given to Barcelona players in the first ten minutes of the game. After the red card, Monaco's attackers had some motivation which led them to the victory they had at the end of the game Monaco really deserved to win because they were creating good chances and attempted to win the match which they did.

Yes, it is, the new edition will allow us to watch almost all the matches irrespective of your team because the matches are always tough since all the teams are good and well-prepared. The competition will be more tough as the group stage will keep going on.

Not quite the same when it comes to UEFA CL matches compared with some teams performing in their country league, where the whole tactic should be played for winning that specific match and not a long run and points calculation. The great example is Barcelona, where they surprised me after failing to secure a win against Monaco which they are in 3rd place standings at France League. However, it’s only the first match in UCL the new edition and there are many upcoming matches where every team should do the best to resolve many issues.

Personally, I find this new edition a little bit more interesting than the previous ones, although I wasn’t really sure about it before it beginning. More opportunities for us to secure winning bets and suitable odds?

Atalanta really play well against Arsenal. I don't know what's wrong with Arsenal they need to put more strength in their games. The Champions League is not a league where some clubs perform well and have opportunities to win games. Arsenal should have lost all points if Atalanta had not missed the penalty. However, Arsenal's lack of effort may have been due to their upcoming match against Manchester City this weekend. It's just that Arteta was lucky to have a superior keeper; else, they should have lost the match.

Manchester City and Arsenal have lost two point in the ucl, i no Manchester City are coming back stronger in there next game in the ucl because they won't try to lose there next game anymore Guadiola is a good coach so he no what he will do in there next match is mor focusing on the league match against arsenal. Arteta need to look for win that match but if they fail and Guadiola defeat arsenal I don't think the trophy can be for Arteta anymore.

I don’t think you were able to watch the game yesterday because if you watched that game, you wouldn’t have said that Arsenal tried because, based on our expectations of Arsenal, what they played was totally not the best because they were not able to have a chance to even play well. To me, Atalanta even played better than Arsenal, even though I know it ended up being a draw game because Arsenal were just able to have only 6 shots in the entire match and just 2 shots on target. Then you will think that they played well.
 
Based on expectations for Arsenal, they were supposed to play more than that because we all know that their performance is better than that of Atalanta, but they ended up playing around in the field; if not for the penalty that Atalanta lost, they would have won the game, and I don’t think Arsenal will equalise in that game yesterday. 

I must say I wasn't surprised with seeing a draw. But a goalless draw... It was a bit unexpected. Atalanta aren't a powerless team. You know they are the last winner of the Europa League trophy. 

Just as I waited for, they stood strong against Arsenal. They might have even won if they didn't miss that penalty and the absolute goal chance a second after. David Raya did an incredible job there.

Arsenal want the PL trophy a lot at the same time. I'm very keen on watching how good they are going to deal with both competitions at the same time.

Even before the start of that game, I was not expecting Atlanta to win against Arsenal because Arsenal are stronger than them, and moreover, Arsenal were the favourites to win the match, and Arsenal will not want to lose that game against Atlanta. It is not surprising that they tried their possible best that they did not lose, nor did Atlanta win against them, and this is how the game should be if Arsenal did not win. It will be a very bad result for Arsenal to lose to Atlanta. I’m not trying to underrate Atlanta, but Arsenal is stronger and also in better form than them.

The game was like both of them planned to finish on a draw because I don’t see them putting in the effort I expected them to put in, most especially Atalanta, who were playing a home game. To be sincere, I was sad about Atalanta's performance, especially when Retegui lost a penalty some minutes after the second half. That is when I conceded that it will be very hard for Atalanta to win Arsenal in the game, although I didn’t even enjoy the game. 

The game was actually tough for Atletico Madrid, but they managed to get a win in the match. At first, I even thought the game would end in a draw, not until the dying minute when Greizmann gave an assist and Giménez scored the goal. Although both teams didn’t find it easy, at least they tried their best.
