Fenerbahce played a different game in the second half to beat their opponent away from home and take the psychological advantage of the round. We've seen some players that you have to question how they really find a place in the team. Names like Kent, Krunic and Mert Hakan should not be in the team. Livakovic, on the other hand, has become a player who is constantly going backwards in terms of form. He shouldn't concede those goals even in the simplest of places. There's uncertainty in games, in scenarios where average clubs turns out to become winners against elite ones. Fenerbahçe does underestimate most of their opposition, giving room for their shocking lost of points in matches played. It's time for them to get back to their heel and go for what's best for them.

The turkey side seems to be brighten up by the presence of the new coach, he has other competitive oppositions, he will face them and gives his best shot. José Mourinho is tactical coach that does accomplish the impossible awards. He knows the weakness of his new club and he's not here for relenting efforts but to accomplish more titles and awards for them.

I think Bodo/Glimt and Qarabag's wins are probably a fair result at this stage because the opponents they face don't really seem to have the quality to play in the Champions League. Therefore, even though it can be said that this is a qualifying match that brings together mediocre teams vs mediocre teams, but the opponents they face are really not capable enough to compete well in this phase.

But even though teams like Qarabag and Bodo/Glimt managed to win with clean sheets, it still doesn't mean they will have a good chance for the next match. Or, if they are playing in theChampions League next season, they certainly don't have a chance to compete well with other top European teams. But indeed, at least with them winning and qualifying for the next round is also an achievement for them.

I believe this new format will be good. It brings more teams and more games. Instead of 32 teams, there would be 36 teams and it would be in a league format but 9 teams will be in a group. It would be a single match with each team playing 4 matches at home and 4 away out of the 8 matches they'll play. The result will be in league format meaning each win will be recording on a league table consisting of all the 32 teams.

The top 8 teams automatically qualifies for the group stage while the 9th to 16th place teams will play 17th to 24th in a knockout play off which will be home and away. The 8 team to qualify will be drawn the top 8 automatically qualified teams in the round of 16. The knockout part of the competition will remain as it has always been, a two legged knock out match.

Many predicted that Qarabag would be superior, maybe Qarabag would win. They are more experienced. Arsenal flaws have been well talked about more often and everyone have seen where their flaws are and what they need to do to amend those flaws. If they keep making those mistakes, they’re just fighting for a trophy they’ll never win season after season. The competition is very fierce and they can also see it and have putting a lot of effort to see that they prevails amongst the other contenders in the league title. If they don’t keep to their consistency, they’ll only make things miserable for themselves because it’ll all end in a pitiful season after all the struggles they’ve put on throughout the league.

The champions league is a more competitive tournament that if Arsenal wants to win, they’ll have to be consistent in their games and not lose games they ought to have won after putting their 100% effort into it. Arsenal have come so far within the few years of signing Mikel Arteta and with this same strategy and intensity he puts into every game with the team, they can as well be champions and major contender of the champions league if they want to. There are other big teams that may give them tough time winning, but they just have to try their best to also be at the top like others.

And by "smaller" I mean Arsenal level, a team that hasn't won it in god knows how many years, maybe never, don't know if they ever win an UCL before.

Today another round of qualifiers and my bet is that FCSB will actually beat Maccabi and have the 1st chance to qualify further. I say this because I know what team FCSB has and I know they made great transfers so far with strong and talented players + they have great players from last year as well so everything is kinda in their favor. However , I could see Maccabi scoring 1 goal and put some pressure on FCSB but after 90 minutes I think the score will be in favor of FCSB with at least 1 goal difference. Cool

It is fair to say that Arsenal had an excellent performance in 2024 in the Premier League. But with the Champions League, Arsenal is still not brave enough and is still immature for this tournament. Is the biggest club that has not been able to win the Champions League and has the worst record.

Arsenal needs new contracts in every position if they want to compete for the title next season. Arteta's tactical innovations have led to Arsenal's recent successes. Chance of win in Champions League is always wide open for all participants even things are not easy but still all participants are having best squad which can give them good results as we have in last season no one were expecting Borussia Dortmund to have spot into final even their performance in Bundesliga was also not good, but they have done and having this chance.

Arsenal is doing good job in last two years under Mikel Arteta, and they are trying to bring consistency which is their big problem even they are having good squad and things are going well organized for them which is positive now we are heading for the third season with things are pretty interesting because we are having few challenging teams which can give surprise even mostly are feeling Real Madrid is at his best, but we all know always best not work sometime they can also face problems which can bring surprise for them.
