If not for Raya it would have been a loss for Arsenal and Arteta is grateful for the draw.

Even though you're a fan of the premier league and have along the line become a fan of arsenal, you should know that Atalanta is a fantastic team that can win any team in the EPL or give them at least a fair fight like what they did against arsenal. It was not a bad performance from both sides and the result is the typical one you get when two teams of equal playing ability meets in a competitive tournament as the UEFA champions league.

There's a lot to take out from this first games that all the 36 teams at the UCL has played so far and even though the likes of Barca has lost her first game while inter, man city, Atalanta and arsenal have only gotten a single point for themselves, it only tells us of how competitive the champions league is and we can't certainly make any guess as to what the table will look like from week 2. Of all the big teams that has an high on the trophy, arsenal seems to be the one with the toughest of teams at the start of thier champions league campaign. After this first draw against Atalanta, thier next rival is still a tough opposition, PSG. If they get another draw or loose the game which somehow I feel one of them will likely play out, it's going to affect them psychologically in Thier coming games both at the champions league and the base league.

Ter Stegen is like other goalkeepers with good ability to use their feet for passing the ball. It's a trend in modern football when coaches want their players to make ball possession and even create chances from goalkeepers. This approach and requirement from coaches has a risk that goalkeepers sometimes make mistakes with their passes and mistakes from a goalkeeper is always very dangerous.

Manuel Neuer, Ederson, Alisson and Stegen are all good goalkeepers with passing ability but they all made mistakes and caused conceded goals for their teams. It's a bad match for Stegen of course and he needs to avoid it in future as most as possible.
