The match between Manchester City and Inter in the Champions League was a draw. Although many here bet on Manchester City and they lost, this match was a very competitive game between the two teams which resulted in neither team scoring. However, as the match was a draw here, those who won according to the betting odds got a good profit. Between Inter vs Manchester City I initially thought Manchester City would win well but they tied the match. I'm really surprised by the betting tips for the two teams playing at full time that a strong team like Manchester City couldn't get the win. In 1x2 the betting difference between the two teams was huge so here most gamblers lost their bets as most people were in favor of Manchester City.

I just watched Pep’s post match interview and he says he’s so happy with the team’s performance today. As a fan who wanted to see some action from both sides I do not share the same sentiment with Pep Guardiola. A draw was unexpected but I doubt anyone predicted that Manchester City would not be able to get a goal from this game. I can’t imagine how many people have lost their bets on this game. I’m looking forward to City’s game against Arsenal in the weekend. Hope it meets the expectations of what a big clash should be.
Only a few bettors would have predicted that this game would end in a goalless draw. For an attacking side like Manchester United, with high-ranking goal scorers, it is hard to predict that there wouldn't be at least a goal in this game. Inter Milan understood their opponent and ensured they produced few clear chances. They allowed City to enjoy the games but stopped them from getting a goal. Pep Guardiola will speak like a diplomat to defend and motivate his players. But for a team that is used to winning almost all games, a draw is a big disappointment. We could see Inter players celebrating the outcome while City players were sad.

 I'm not surprised that Pep Guardiola is happy for the draw they were able to get against Inter Milan because a point is better than nothing, right? And besides, they have a tough game to play on Sunday against the Gunners and I've heard Pep saying that winning League games is better than doing so in European competition so I guess we'd see more action from him and his boys on Sunday.
 I keep saying that Haaland isn't a big game player and the guy doesn't fail to disappoint. Yesterday, he was just being frustrated by the defense of Inter and when he manages to get a chance, he bottles it.
 The other day Jorginho, Arsenal's midfielder was heard saying that though Haaland has 9 goals in four games, that's because he hasn't met the Gunners and I'm more interested to see if he'd shut the Italian up when they play on Sunday, if he can get goals from that game but being as KDB's appearance on that day is still doubtful I wonder how the Norwegian will cope.

Before we draw our conclusions, let us see what Manchester City will be able to do against Arsenal. After then I will watch the post match interview of Pep Guardiola and see if he will also be ok with his boys performance.
Pep Guardiola is not only known to me as the coach with the best strategy today among many other great coaches who are still active, but I also know Pep Guardiola as a coach who is good at stringing words together in front of the media crew at every press conference, both before and after.
If the result against Arsenal he will repeat the sentence that he will be happy with the performance of his men, then it can be interpreted the opposite of what he said.
Last season Pep failed to bring Manchester City to perform impressively in the UCL competition and this is an opportunity for Manchester City to be able to achieve success again in the UCL competition with new format, but in the first match against Inter Milan they could not win the match and secure 3 points.
Pep looks quite disappointed with this result considering Manchester City played at home, but there are still few more matches and I hope Pep can bring Manchester City to enter the last 16 directly without going through the play-off round.

In the match against Arsenal, Manchester City still has the advantage of playing at home, this should be an opportunity for Manchester City to be able to get 3 points and make Arsenal feel defeated, talking about Pep statement that he is happy with his players performance, I think it is an expression that covers up disappointment.

Updated Scores From the recently ended Champions League Fixtures!

 Well, I wasn't surprised in the slightest way to see how discipline Inter Milan defenders played yesterday, as they held them down till the last minute of the game. They said Erling Haaland scores for fun in the Premier League Competition but Inter Milan defenders made him look like a joke last night. Could it be because Kevin De Bruyne was out Injured from the game? We'll be seeing a tough game between Manchester City and Arsenal over the weekend and what would that man for Pep Guardiola with the absence of Kevin De Bruyne? I still believe Arsenal defenders Saliba and Gabriel can hold down Erling Haaland yet again!

Game day 2 of this week's games didn't produce results we all expected, seeing Salzburg get beat on the road to the point of not getting a goal was unexpected, AC Milan played to a bore draw so did Manchester City which was very unexpected as that's one of those games I thought would have goals with Haaland being in good form, but I guess the Italian teams proved their old ways of being good when it comes to defensive football 👌.

Lets see how today's games will be played, just hoping to see some goals.
AC Milan suffered a defeat at home against Liverpool, they did not draw, while their city rivals Inter Milan drew against Manchester City last night.
As I predicted earlier, if both clubs were equally strong, they would likely share 1 point, but I did not expect that both Inter Milan and Manchester City couldn't score in this match, even though I bet BTTS, but at first I was a bit hesitant because the odds were 1.80 which I thought was too big.

For other matches today:
* Red Star vs Benfica
* Feyenoord vs Leverkusen
* Brest vs Sturm
* Atalanta vs Arsenal
* Atletico Madrid vs Leipzig
* Monaco vs Barcelona

It is very difficult to determine predictions for these matches because each club wants to get 3 points.
Here are the odds for each club:

Manchester City inability to get a goal in tonight's Champions League fixture against Inter Milan is a proof that Champions League is quite different from the local leagues. With the fantastic display of Manchester City in the English Premier League, who would have believed that they will play 90 minutes without getting a goal in the Champions League. This is a sign that the season is not over yet, many things could change in the middle of the season both in the Champions League and the respective local leagues in Europe.

Before we draw our conclusions, let us see what Manchester City will be able to do against Arsenal. After then I will watch the post match interview of Pep Guardiola and see if he will also be ok with his boys performance.
UEFA events have never been easy while we are having two quality teams facing each other results like these can happen with Inter Milan done good strategy and never allow Manchester City to bring them under pressure which was big success for them in this game with at the end they are able to have one point which is going to be important in coming rounds.

On papers things were looking completely favourable for the home team, but they were not able to end the deadlock and score goal which is surely the biggest success for the Inter Milan which is having good start of their campaign in this season now this result will be brought pressure on Citizens in coming games because this new format is having good challenging time for the all top teams for having better results in every game.
After the game Pep Guardiola done good job and defend his players as they have done good job, and they have to improve their quality level in coming matches if they want to keep things at the top level.

I have already expected this to happen. Manchester City struggle to score even a single goal against Intermilan. The worst thing is that to see horrible 90 minutes of low block by Inter Milan. We weren’t playing that bad. We could won it. But i realize Inter is one of the best teams in the world, we can’t just waltz over them.

I was disappointing see we did whole game pass to haaland, and the pass never came to him. But he did what he's supposed to do, but the problem is that City failed to set him up today. Not a good day for him though.
Inter Milan learned from their previous defeat to Man City so they played quite neatly and very coordinated. Inter Milan's defense was quite solid in that match and they managed to thwart several chances that Man City tried to create. The draw in that match was very beneficial for Inter Milan because they played at Man City's home so they can play more consistently in the next match.

Halaand failed to be a deadly striker in that match because he didn't get many passes. This happened because Inter Milan's game was much better so Man City had difficulty developing their game. Man City's midfield was also lacking in solidity, making it difficult for them to dominate the match.

Indeed, overall both teams showed their best game, 1 match wasted was considered a defeat for Inter and Manchester City. Well, Haaland when blocked by Inter defenders was always unable to move freely, seeing the many attempts to kick more than 30 times from Manchester City proved that Inter is indeed solid. Pep Guardiola was actually not satisfied because this first match did not bring his team behind the team that had a goal party yesterday. In my opinion, in the next match Manchester City must be more careful, there are 7 matches left and it will be a pretty tough bet.
1 point from a big match against a biggest competitor in the group, is a good result, not bad actually. Both Manchester City and Inter Milan can win most of other matches in this group and move to a next phase. Inter Milan played well and stopped a win streak of Manchester City as well as secured their position and chance to complete this group on top. In a group phase, the importance if finish it with a ticket to move to a next phase and avoid damages from player suspension because of cards and player injuries. It's main priority before considering of a position that can help them having advantage in a next phase.

Pep Guardiola is not only known to me as the coach with the best strategy today among many other great coaches who are still active, but I also know Pep Guardiola as a coach who is good at stringing words together in front of the media crew at every press conference, both before and after.Pep
Pep Guardiola is one of most successful coaches last 20 years but the coach of Inter Milan, S. Inzaghi shown that he is a good coach too and he is good in direct matches against Pep Guardiola. If these clubs re-meet in future, S. Inzaghi will be able to bring other challenges to Pep Guardiola. Other young coaches who rose recent years will be next opponents of Pep Guardiola when Jose Mourinho no longer joined Champions League recent seasons.

I watched the match between Bologna and Shaktar yesterday and both teams were so incompetent in the last shot that there was no goal in the match and unfortunately my bet lost.

Shaktar missed a penalty in the 4th minute of the first half. Even though both teams found clear positions, the last shots were very bad. In the 2nd half, in Bologna's six-pass position, the striker aimed the shot at the goalkeeper and 99% of the time the goal was missed.

I don't think either team will advance to the next round.
I will bet that whoever Bologna plays away in the next match, their opponent will win the match.
The weakest link in this group is Bologna. Bologna had played 5 matches before this match, with 4 draws and 1 loss.
The team's form is not good.

0-0 at Manchester City's home was unexpected considering Manchester City's performance in the premier league is very good. It is true that it is still early days and there are many things that can happen with all possibilities.

The most notable match of the day was Manchester City and Inter in the Champions League stages. What was more notable was that Manchester City could not score a single goal. I was expecting a match like this to end with both teams scoring or maybe over. It was not very enjoyable to watch either as the match ended in a draw and there were no goals scored by either team.

Yann Sommer finished his task very well by maintaining a clean sheet and breaking a goal scoring streak of Erling Haaland who scored 9 goals in 4 Premier League matches and looks to be unstoppable. This draw shows that performance of Inter Milan against Manchester City in Champions League final match two seasons ago was not a sudden good performance from Inter Milan. They actually understood Pep Guardiola and Manchester City well so that they had proper tactics to constrain Manchester City in attacking.

Manchester City are strong but not to a level that is dominating enough for winning all matches and against all opponents. Arsenal is kind of opponent that can earn points from Manchester City.

Here, I also saw how Girona withstood all the brutal PSG attacks, and even though this was very new for them, they did it quite well, it's just that, unfortunately, they did a mistake of that OG.
Well I wouldn't say its really a own goal ( but yes it's a own goal Grin) the goal was meant to score though it his destiny Cheesy mended sent It really hard, it's just that it had to go through the keeper to that...
I was really expecting a goal to come out with the way PSG pressed Girona, all they could do was defend over and over,alot of shots from PSG though most were of target but the press was so much , what I don't really liked was thar the OG came from the keeper , they made it looked as I'd he didn't do it well, I wished it cam from one of the players but what can I say Smiley, it's just a game
I also can't accept that PSG's goal was an own goal, as evidenced by Mendes' powerful shot that Gazzaniga couldn't hold on to even though he almost held on to the ball but it slipped out of his grasp.

Honestly this was a very interesting game between Girona and PSG, PSG's attack was very strong but Gazzaniga was able to block a lot of shots at him and that's what made this game interesting for me, Girona don't seem to have much hope of qualifying from the champions league preliminary round in this way, the quality of their defense must be improved.

As a manager, one of your primary duties is to protect your players on and off the pitch and that's what Pep Guardiola did with his statement that he was happy with Manchester City's performance. Guardiola we know is one man that loves winning all his games but unfortunately for his team tonight, they couldn't find a way past their visitors Inter Milan.
Talking about people losing their bets, I totally agree with you about that. I doubt up to 15% of people who gambled on the game will predict that Manchester City will not score a goal in that game but it's gambling anyway and sometimes, surprising results are bound to happen

I watched the highlights and it is really unfortunate because the keeper made some decent saves before. That's just the reality of football nowadays, people only remember the terrible mistake that you make instead of your 100 good saves. Then again you can't go far in the UCL if you make one or two mistakes, especially against big teams where you don't have many chances to score goals.

I think they just need to take this lesson and plan better for the next matches. They still have a decent chance to go through, it's only 1 game.

Losing points in the first meeting and they had the opportunity to play it at home was a disappointment that was seen from Pep's gesture but he turned it all around with his words, it was a mental protection for his players who this weekend will play a difficult match, but talking about the City vs Inter match which ended in a goalless draw it is undeniable that this match is a big match because Inter were also a fantastic team last season and they have been able to do it until now, it is not easy to beat them and Man City have tried with the game they are leading but last night it did not produce results.
Surely this match has many failures with bets ending in a winless draw for City, but I think for the next match Man City against Arsenal at home and they have good odds I think I will go back there with this failed bet.
