I knew this was going to be a very tough match for both teams, thought it not as entertaining as we want not just because goals weren't scored but little goal scoring chance was created. I think if you can build your low block very well against city it definitely going to be hard for them to score.

Well all credit goes to Yann Simmer who made some great saves to keep his side alive, he was The star player of the match, well maybe because Halland barely had a chance. To be honest inter defended very well and I Guadiola need to find a way to beat low block teams because I know Arsenal are going to do the same by weekend.

My prediction regarding this match is correct. My guess was that we will not see many goals in the match and the match is more likely to be a draw. And the result of the match is a goalless draw. Neither team can score in this match. But the match was very competitive.

It was Manchester City's home match. However, it cannot be said that the match was dominated by Manchester City players. The performance of the players of both the teams was excellent. At the same time, I would say that the goalkeepers of both teams played the best in this match. Both Sommer and Ederson performed brilliantly in the match. This is why we don't see any goals in this match. But both teams tried their best to score.

Game day 2 of this week's games didn't produce results we all expected, seeing Salzburg get beat on the road to the point of not getting a goal was unexpected, AC Milan played to a bore draw so did Manchester City which was very unexpected as that's one of those games I thought would have goals with Haaland being in good form, but I guess the Italian teams proved their old ways of being good when it comes to defensive football 👌.

Lets see how today's games will be played, just hoping to see some goals.
AC Milan suffered a defeat at home against Liverpool, they did not draw, while their city rivals Inter Milan drew against Manchester City last night.
As I predicted earlier, if both clubs were equally strong, they would likely share 1 point, but I did not expect that both Inter Milan and Manchester City couldn't score in this match, even though I bet BTTS, but at first I was a bit hesitant because the odds were 1.80 which I thought was too big.

For other matches today:
* Red Star vs Benfica
* Feyenoord vs Leverkusen
* Brest vs Sturm
* Atalanta vs Arsenal
* Atletico Madrid vs Leipzig
* Monaco vs Barcelona

It is very difficult to determine predictions for these matches because each club wants to get 3 points.
Here are the odds for each club:

The Monaco vs Barcelona match look very interesting to be played as away win. Looking at Barcelona current form they are actually doing well and this season Barcelona would want to make a statement that they are capable of winning this trophy by winning at Monaco. Monaco are not really playing that we'll in their league currently. I expect this match to be strong but I'm giving Barcelona the upper hand to win this match. Atalanta and Arsenal are going to play both team score. Atalanta is very strong at home and Arsenal are going to be without Martin Odegaard, and we know how important this player is to Arsenal midfield. It's difficult to actually predict who will win this match. But both team scoring in this match is very much likely to happen.

The match between Manchester City and Inter in the Champions League was a draw. Although many here bet on Manchester City and they lost, this match was a very competitive game between the two teams which resulted in neither team scoring. However, as the match was a draw here, those who won according to the betting odds got a good profit. Between Inter vs Manchester City I initially thought Manchester City would win well but they tied the match. I'm really surprised by the betting tips for the two teams playing at full time that a strong team like Manchester City couldn't get the win. In 1x2 the betting difference between the two teams was huge so here most gamblers lost their bets as most people were in favor of Manchester City.

When a coach fails to earn 3 points and only gets 1, isn't there no other reason apar from say that they are happy to get 1 point?
Manchester City was able to dominate the match from the beginning of the match, even compared to Intermilan they had many chances that should have been converted into goals in the match, but Yann Sommer and also the solid Intermilan defense was one of the factors that made Manchester City lose full points in the match, I think so far Guardiola has managed to break the record as the only coach who is able to win the league trophy England 3 times in a row so he should must thought more about breaking the record held by Ancelotti in the UCL at this time, when every previous big team compete with tight in the domestic league just to end the season qualifying for the Champions League zone.,Then how can you say that winning league games is more important than in the Champions League?
No doubt that every title is important and since Pep has won the league title more than he has done the champions league, he'd opt for winning it more but then, you'd agree that it's more easier for them in the league since they play these opponents all season long than those opponents in the champions league that they meet once or twice in a year. Besides, it was Pep Guardiola that attested that winning the league is more better than the champions league.

The match against Arsenal will be a crucial match indeed for Manchester City in the Premier League, but I think they are more favored in that the match because the Arsenal squad is currently limping
It will indeed be crucial as both sides would be looking to best the other and as for city who didn't win the Gunners last season, they will try to reinforce to ensure they don't repeat the same mistakes and for the Gunners, I think Arteta is getting better at hitting Guardiola where it hurts the most.
 I'm not bothered about the absence of the likes Martin Odegarrd or Declan Rice (the latter being likely to start for the Gunners since he's served his one match ban) because they've got Nathan Ake out too for injury and KDB may also be absent so it's not going to be much of a challenge.

It was a competitive tough match yesterday. The both teams really played impressively with all forces to score but was obvious that they both experiences hard times to score which ended the match goaless.

Haaland fans was really expecting he would deliver his team since he isa good goal scorers but the pitch did not favour the famous player while his anti fans mocks at him that he is being overrated and only has influences only when his teams are playing with the undergo. Lol.
Indeed sentiments in the game of football.

it was a good match which was very close and didn't give much entertainment but I expected exactly this result and nothing more, Pep Guardiola takes home a point and is satisfied with his Manchester City's performance against an excellent Inter Inzagni also seems to be satisfied, it's still an excellent result against a team that could potentially win the champions Cheesy

But let's be honest, Manchester City players are not big game players because if you look at the game Manchester City played against Inter Milan it looks like the game of Real Madrid against Manchester City, Inter Milan uses the pattern of Real Madrid to play against Manchester City, inter Milan play a defensive game and that is what Real Madrid used to defeat Manchester city in the champion league last season, I have said it before that any team that wants to defeat Manchester city is going to use Real Madrid pattern to play the game and defend well, and about Haaland, we all know that Haaland is not a big game player that can score goals like he uses to do in the premier league.

They’ve won 6 of the last 7 PL titles and won the CL in 22/23. If that’s not a squad full of big game players then I don’t know what is.

Any way, as a Liverpool fan I’m glad they didn’t win last night.

I have to congratulate Juventus who proved to be a really strong team and with a team that isn't as bad as PSV who played a good match, so this gives Juventus the chance to establish itself among the big names in the Italian championship and above all in European football proving that she is back, yildiz scored a magnificent goal

Kenan Yıldız made a great start to his Champions League career with a fantastic goal. I watched his interview with Del Piero after the match. Del Piero congratulated Kenan for breaking his own record. Kenan told Del Piero that he was sorry for breaking his record. Del Piero asked him how he felt when he scored the goal. Kenan thanked Cambiaso for his run for creating open space. He had very humble answers...
yes I saw the really nice interview and it gives hope for the next generations of Juventus players this yildiz is really a great player and he plays in Italy I just hope he doesn't go away and choose other teams but I see that he is a big Juventus fan and His idol is Del Piero, so I think he wants to spend his entire career at Juventus. Juventus' number 10 is heavy but I really think he manages to honor him.

I'm not surprised that Pep Guardiola is happy for the draw they were able to get against Inter Milan because a point is better than nothing, right? And besides, they have a tough game to play on Sunday against the Gunners and I've heard Pep saying that winning League games is better than doing so in European competition so I guess we'd see more action from him and his boys on Sunday.
 I keep saying that Haaland isn't a big game player and the guy doesn't fail to disappoint. Yesterday, he was just being frustrated by the defense of Inter and when he manages to get a chance, he bottles it.
 The other day Jorginho, Arsenal's midfielder was heard saying that though Haaland has 9 goals in four games, that's because he hasn't met the Gunners and I'm more interested to see if he'd shut the Italian up when they play on Sunday, if he can get goals from that game but being as KDB's appearance on that day is still doubtful I wonder how the Norwegian will cope.

I was surprised by seeing Manchester City's result against Inter Milan because I was expecting a win from Manchester City but the game ended in a draw, to be honest, the match was very tough because Inter Milan did not agree for Manchester City to score a goal in the game and also Manchester city did not agree for inter Milan to score a goal in the match, pep Guardiola will not be happy with the result because this is the champion league and they need a point to qualify from the group stage, Manchester City is going to qualify because they still have matches to play in the group stage that they will get a point.

AC Milan suffered a defeat at home against Liverpool, they did not draw, while their city rivals Inter Milan drew against Manchester City last night.
I must have been distracted or absent-minded thinking I was typing in Inter Milan but put in AC Milan..thanks for the correction  Cool

As I predicted earlier, if both clubs were equally strong, they would likely share 1 point, but I did not expect that both Inter Milan and Manchester City couldn't score in this match, even though I bet BTTS, but at first I was a bit hesitant because the odds were 1.80 which I thought was too big.
This is why I believe that the second I express doubt on a game, then I automatically skip it to avoid the I wish I didn't change my mind or I should have stuck to my gut feeling.

* Monaco vs Barcelona

It is very difficult to determine predictions for these matches because each club wants to get 3 points.
Here are the odds for each club:
Back in the day before UEFA changed the format, Thursday games meant Europa games and this too meant goals, and for this reason I will bet blindly and go for the Both Teams to score on all the games.

They shots without aim, most of them they shots in front of the goalkeepers, that's why Manchester City didn't score any goal. They have so many chance and dominating the match, so it's not surprising they're rated bad in this match.

  • Monaco vs Barcelona (Barcelona Win)
  • Atalanta vs Arsenal (Draw or BTTS)
  • ATM vs Leipzig (ATM Win or BTTS)
  • Feyenoord vs Leverkusen (Leverkusen Win)
I agree with all of your prediction.

Barcelona is really fire in this season.
Arsenal looks weaker because they lost many important players.
Atletico Madrid and Leipzig is actually equal, but playing in home makes Atletico Madrid have an advantage.
Even though Feyenoord have a good results, but they're playing in noncompetitive league.

Only a few bettors would have predicted that this game would end in a goalless draw. For an attacking side like Manchester United, with high-ranking goal scorers, it is hard to predict that there wouldn't be at least a goal in this game.
I predicted this game to be a game where we would see over 2.5 goals, but surprisingly there were no goals in the game that is why I agree with you that only very few gamblers would have been able to predict that the game will be goalless at the end.

Inter Milan understood their opponent and ensured they produced few clear chances. They allowed City to enjoy the games but stopped them from getting a goal.
It was the same method Mikel Arteta used in playing Manchester City last season, which is allow them enjoy the play and get all the possession, but strike when you have your chance. If you defend well against Manchester City, you could win the game. Inter Milan getting one point in England is almost a win. Biggest blow for Manchester City is that KDB looks injured, and may not be availiable for the weekend game against Arsenal in the premier league that he really like to play.

I only chose a few matches and avoid Brest vs Sturm and Red Star vs Benfica matches.

The Serbian team is called Crvena Zvezda, not "Read Star". I don't know why so many forum members call it Red Star. I know that the name Crvena Zvezda means "Red Star" in English, but the name of this football club that is accepted by UEFA is Crvena Zvezda.
Anyway, I couldn't care less about matches like Brest-Sturm or Feyenoord-Leverkusen. I would bet money on Arsenal losing against Atalanta.
The Italian team is capable of defeating almost every opponent in the European tournament, while Arsenal is capable of making mistakes in their Champions League matches.

My prediction in today's match.

  • Monaco vs Barcelona (Barcelona Win)
  • Atalanta vs Arsenal (Draw or BTTS)
  • ATM vs Leipzig (ATM Win or BTTS)
  • Feyenoord vs Leverkusen (Leverkusen Win)

I only chose a few matches and avoid Brest vs Sturm and Red Star vs Benfica matches.
Both of these matches are a little difficult to predict because the results are successful. I mean like Benfica seems to have a great chance to win. But Red Star is currently in a more stable state and appearing at home provides a greater mentality.
And for Brest actually could have defeated Sturm, but the problem is Brest today has no performance like last season so that doubt encourages me to avoid my betting slip.

Inter Milan understood their opponent and ensured they produced few clear chances. They allowed City to enjoy the games but stopped them from getting a goal. Pep Guardiola will speak like a diplomat to defend and motivate his players. But for a team that is used to winning almost all games, a draw is a big disappointment. We could see Inter players celebrating the outcome while City players were sad.

Inzaghi often chooses such a defensive strategy against strong teams, and in this case the match becomes boring, City tried to find a gap in Inter's defense the whole match, but this time they were lucky. I think that City will achieve victories in the next matches, and the new format will most likely smooth out such results without any difficulties. At the beginning of the second half, Guardiola had to replace De Bruyne, this is the most unpleasant thing, now we need to wait for the doctors' verdict on how serious his injury is and how long he will be out of the game. By the way, today is the third day of the Champions League, it will be unusual to watch them on Thursday.

Pep Guardiola is not only known to me as the coach with the best strategy today among many other great coaches who are still active, but I also know Pep Guardiola as a coach who is good at stringing words together in front of the media crew at every press conference, both before and after.Pep
Pep Guardiola is one of most successful coaches last 20 years but the coach of Inter Milan, S. Inzaghi shown that he is a good coach too and he is good in direct matches against Pep Guardiola. If these clubs re-meet in future, S. Inzaghi will be able to bring other challenges to Pep Guardiola. Other young coaches who rose recent years will be next opponents of Pep Guardiola when Jose Mourinho no longer joined Champions League recent seasons.

In addition to the result received by Manchester City when held to a 0-0 draw by Inter Milan which was a surprise considering Manchester City's performance in the Premier League, we are also discussing Pep Guardiola's reasons for responding to questions in a press conference.
For the result, although it was a bit surprising because Manchester City is the favorite team, for me it is a common thing to happen in a match.
Let's see what Pep Guardiola's response is when his team plays Arsenal in the domestic league. I mean, will he say the same thing about his team's performance.

Poor game from Manchester City, yes Inter defended very deep, but there was no intensity from City and they didn't create enough chances to trouble Inter's defense nor their goalkeeper, Sommer. Inter even looked the more threatening whenever they caught City on the break, there is much work to be done for Pep's men, this new CL league format is unforgiving, too many slip ups and you'll find yourself struggling to make the top 8.
Yes, Manchester City had a disappointing match when they could only draw 0-0 with Inter Milan in their opening match of the Champions League. Erling Haaland - who was expected to be the mainstay in attack, had a lackluster match. Coach Pep Guardiola made personnel adjustments in the second half, but these changes were still not enough to break the deadlock. Manchester City wasted many chances. At the same time, they did not play an all-out attack against a team famous for their quick counter-attacking ability like Inter Milan.

Inter are masters of defense and their combination play is incredible., so Manchester City's players can't score. Coach Inzaghi and his team can be satisfied with 1 point at Eithad.

Updated Scores From the recently ended Champions League Fixtures!

 Well, I wasn't surprised in the slightest way to see how discipline Inter Milan defenders played yesterday, as they held them down till the last minute of the game. They said Erling Haaland scores for fun in the Premier League Competition but Inter Milan defenders made him look like a joke last night. Could it be because Kevin De Bruyne was out Injured from the game? We'll be seeing a tough game between Manchester City and Arsenal over the weekend and what would that man for Pep Guardiola with the absence of Kevin De Bruyne? I still believe Arsenal defenders Saliba and Gabriel can hold down Erling Haaland yet again!
No noo, I totally disagree on this bro, this tie between Manchester city vs inter Milan is not just about Erling halaand, he has proven to be a top quality striker over the past three seasons he has been at Manchester city and all other clubs he has been at, and it's a normal thing that he will definitely have a bad day at the office at some point, so we should not make it look as if he is less effective against top teams in Europe, which to me is not true, and to be honest bro, he has nothing to prove to anyone, because he has proven himself over and over again that he is a goal poacher in the past years.

Let's look at this inter Milan side, they are in a very top form presently, and we shouldn't forget that they were the opponent of Manchester city in the champions league year before last that they won the uefa champions league, so they aren't push over, I was actually expecting a difficult game for Manchester city and it plays out as expected and wether kelvin de bruyne was available or not, it would still be difficult for them because inter Milan is a very strong and a sound team, so it's not about Erling halaand.

I just watched Pep’s post match interview and he says he’s so happy with the team’s performance today. As a fan who wanted to see some action from both sides I do not share the same sentiment with Pep Guardiola. A draw was unexpected but I doubt anyone predicted that Manchester City would not be able to get a goal from this game. I can’t imagine how many people have lost their bets on this game. I’m looking forward to City’s game against Arsenal in the weekend. Hope it meets the expectations of what a big clash should be.
As a coach, it is only natural that he is happy with his team's performance even though they had to draw. In addition, during the interview he could not criticize and complain about his players because it would make the players depressed. In fact, giving praise for what the team has achieved is a must for every coach, especially next week they will have a big match against Arsenal.
Although in this match many were disappointed with the draw because previously Man City was very favored to get full points in this match, btw I was also one of the people who lost the bet on this match and this was very painful for me.

In this match, Inter played very disciplined, especially since Inter is known as a team with the neatest defense and their counter-attack build-up was also very good. None of their players were nervous when defending and did not make many mistakes. So this made Man City have to play very carefully when entering 3/4 of Inter's defense area, because if they were blocked, they would immediately take a quick attack stance.

Even though Man City could not achieve a perfect result in the first match, I still salute Man City because of Man City's advantages that I have always admired in the Pep Guardiola era, they can always make passes in the middle of the opponent's tight defense and can always find gaps for passes there, and for Inter, I also salute them for being able to match Man City's game.
