Arteta’s aim is to win trophy for Arsenal next season. The team’s main target is the EPL, they wants to show their quality to win the Premier League ahead of Manchester City because they have gone far; the team is improving massively and yo be a runner up in two consecutive seasons is not easy, they lost the Premier League title in their last match of the season which shows that they can win it next season.

If Arteta can get a better chance to go far in the Champions League, they will do so because Arsenal is in need of all these trophies including the Champions League and any other Cup they will be playing next season.
Arsenal must be ready with all the targets they are aiming for next season, both UCL and EPL, of course they must focus as best as possible. Last season failure in the race for the EPL trophy was very painful because Arsenal was only 2 points behind Manchester City, so last season's failure should be a valuable lesson for the Arsenal squad this season. Arsenal overall strength is quite strong and they continue to show good concentration as they have done in previous seasons.

This season, Arsenal of course wants to win a prestigious trophy because they have been fasting for a title for too long. So I'm sure Arteta will make an effort to overhaul the team in every weak spot in the transfer market this time. Of course fans will hope that Arsenal can go further in the Champions League this season because in the previous season they were eliminated in the quarter-finals.

It depends on how Arsenal can improve next season, if they can improve significantly enough then they will be able to go even further in the Champions League. However, on the other hand, if they cannot improve their performance next season, then they will not be able to do much and perhaps qualifying from the group stage will be their achievement, after which they will be eliminated again by the fierce competition in the Champions League.
The team that will join their group is also something that will determine, if they join a relatively easy group, then maybe they will be able to easily qualify for the knockout rounds, but if they join the hell group it will be a challenge for them. But the draw is luck, they definitely hope they can be in a relatively easy group.

Arsenal's performance is unpredictable because they always start the season perfectly, but at the end, they always mess everything up in the Champions League. I can’t confidently say how their performance will be, but I can see that many teams are preparing for the next season, so they can perform very well. I believe Arsenal are also doing the same thing so that they will be a wonder next season.

Although I know that only a few teams will be a challenge for them since they are not, that should be underrated too, but still, Arsenal always end up the season with nothing, which is always a bad result for them. But maybe next season will be a better season for Arsenal, like other seasons have achieved many things before.

This has been the problem with Arsenal, at a time when everyone will trust them to win a title they will begin to drop in performance and even losing matches to lesser clubs and it's very annoying when after winning bigger club they will now bow to smaller teams and this has been a major problem for Arsenal even during the time of Arsene Wenger. Arsenal have made it difficult for people to strongly bank on them to win the champions league due to their previous performances so I don't blame anyone who one who looks down on Arsenal especially within the champions league setting because if they continue this way a time will come when they will be finding it difficult to make it to the champions league because they won't be able to make it to the top 4 positions in the league table.

For so many seasons now Arsenal has not been able to win a major trophy which is a very bad impression for an elite team like Arsenal because England top four teams will be incomplete if Arsenal is not mentioned but I wonder what the problem of the team have been. In the last two seasons they performed extraordinarily well but to win a trophy has became a very big challenge because no matter how strong a team is, the only thing that can crown their efforts is winning a trophy so Arsenal should buckle up now and think about how they can be able to win a major trophy.

I also see Arsenal as a team that can still be quite strong next season so that some of their closest rivals last season also still have to be wary of Arsenal as their competitor in the race for the Premier League trophy. Likewise in the Champions League because Arsenal could perform better next season and be able to reach a quite crucial stage so that their rivals will still see Arsenal as an opponent that needs to be eliminated early before heading to the quite crucial stages in the Champions League.
Arsenal are still very much a contender for the premier league title and all teams needs to be wary of them, i believe they would be better prepared than last season. It was unfortunate for them not to have won the league but they gave it their best shot, if they get a better striker i believe they should be able to challenge better than before. For the Champions League i believe they lacked experience that was why they lost, most of the players haven’t had any champions league experience last season but this coming season they would perform even better.

I don't think any team is afraid or worried about Arsenal's presence and in fact other strong teams are wary of teams full of history who have always been regular champions of the league. Maybe Arsenal is very scary for any team in the same group but after that they are nothing more than a team that can be knocked out easily.
This is funny but you said the fact, Arsenal are still lacking in experience to challenge stronger teams and most teams frequently play in the Champions League have more threat than Arsenal but in a few years they would also get to that level if they are able to maintain their performance and qualify for the champions league every year.

That's the moment when I realize that some people on this forum are delusional about some clubs and possible performances in the toughest league in the world. Arsenal finished the season with 89 points and a winning streak of 6 games! Is that what you call "mess up"? In my opinion it is remarkable how they played last season once again, but as we all know there is a team in the Premier League that can step up their game any moment when necessary and that is Manchester City. That is what they are doing without mercy. 89 points is a strong result. But it is not enough.
If you don’t want to be sentimental as a fan what happened to Arsenal last season was really embarrassing and everyone expected them to have learned from their mistake in the previous season. Losing a crucial match woefully against Aston Villa was the mistake that Manchester City capitalized on to win the title such mistakes should’ve been avoided especially towards the end of the season. Looking at the situation i will also say they Messed up because the whole outstanding performance all amount to nothing.

2nd qualification stages of champion league will begin next week and at least 28 teams total will compete to gets 14 tickets for 3rd round of qualification stages and i have seen some of familiar teams such as Fenerbahce, Sparta Prague, Qarabag and Ludogorets will starting their journey in champion league through an 2nd qualification stages so it's quite interesting to see which teams who can able to beat their opponents and advances to the next round

However i was interested to see Qarabag performance during this stages because last season they had successfully to surprised us because Qarabag is almost beat Leverkusen on round of 16 of Europa league and Qarabag opponent is Lincoln F.C and actually this is repeat match for both teams because last season whether it Lincoln F.C and Qarabag has been met each other in this stages and at that time Qarabag can beat Lincoln F.C twice and for this match too i am confident Qarabag can able to beat Lincoln F.C again

Besides Qarabag i want to know Fenerbahce performance in this competition and this team currently was trained by Mourinho and we all know Mourinho is a big name in Europa and i have no doubt with his experience to train big teams and for 2nd qualification stages Fenerbahce will fight against the team from Swiss league FC Lugano and on the paper seems Fenerbahce also will gets easy win from this match

As I already said, the next season will be decisive - if Arsenal does not take the title, then progress will be replaced by regression.
Arsenal must be able to win the title next season. They already have a solid squad and they have been runners-up twice in the EPL. I'm not saying Arsenal should be EPL champions because that's quite difficult. But at least Arsenal can get one trophy this season. The Arsenal squad is currently in their best performance. I think if they fail to get the trophy again this will affect the players' confidence.
The previous season, Arsenal managed to advance to the quarter-finals before finally being defeated by Munich. I think it's already a good result but they deserve to go further in the UCL.

I want to believe that Arsenal can do this, but bookmakers continue to rate Arsenal as the second team contending for the title:

Manchester City - 2.10

Arsenal - 2.88

Liverpool - 8.00

Chelsea - 21.00

Manchester United - 26.00

Newcastle United - 26.00

Tottenham Hotspur - 34.00

Arsenal are rated very well and their advantage over Liverpool, Chelsea and the rest is large, but City are rated about 30% better.
As for the Champions League, it is difficult to predict anything further than 1/8 - everything will depend on the draw, and taking into account the new format, maybe we will immediately get interesting pairings in 1/8.

Arsenal's performance has improved and that must be recognized because after all, by looking at the current conditions, Arsenal's performance has been much better, especially in the last 2 seasons. It's just that when they are in the Champions League they will seem the same because after all the Champions League is a condition where the championship club in between domestic leagues gather so that even though their performance has improved but there are other clubs in other competitions also doing that which makes Arsenal still seem to be ordinary. Moreover, with some big clubs subscribing to the Champions League that are equally good, it is clear that they already have special privileges with experience and mentality.

Arsenal can still compete it is a certainty, but when talking about the trophy in the Champions League it will still be very difficult for them to do.

In addition, this season we will see a new draft for the Champions League and of course there will be a lot of different conditions where in addition to the current schedule is definitely increasing, this also makes a club have to be smart to rotate players so that the performance they have in the Champions League with domestic competitions in their respective leagues can be balanced and sometimes problems like this are difficult for Arteta to avoid because they are not the best.

Of course, because in football there is no team that cannot be beaten even though they have a very perfect squad, Madrid so far has efficiency in recruiting the players they want to buy and most of the players recruited are the needs of the team so that it will make their team stronger every season so far.
It is true. No team that is impossible to be defeated. Although Real Madrid has a stronger squad, it doesn't mean they will win the UCL trophy automatically. There should be a chance that they will be eliminated by other teams. Man City, Bayern Munich, and Inter Milan are the examples of few teams that look like very possible to beat Real Madrid.

Regarding that we will talk about the percentage of who has a higher chance of becoming champion in the Champions League. However, it is not automatically the case that the team that has a high percentage of chances will become champions, they need to prove themselves by playing well too. There are several teams that have a high percentage of opportunities but they ultimately fail too, let's say Leverkusen last season in the Europa League, they lost in the final round.
These are examples of different competitions, and let's take the example of the Champions League itself. Last season, Manchester City was the team with the highest percentage to become champions, but they also failed because they lost to the team with the percentage below them, Real Madrid. It only opens up opportunities, what determines is the game on the field. Whoever is better will win, don't forget other things such as mentality and luck which are sometimes determining factors.

I don't know why some folks here are hyping Arsenal in UCL when we know that they hardly escape the round of 16 in this competition because they are always confused somehow and lose focus in the league. No matter how Arsenal performance is on its peak, they don't show that in UCL maybe it is because they are playing with clubs that are not in EPL.

Playing with a different club that is not in their domestic league is always a big challenge for them and for you to be a strong and recognized club that other clubs will be careful and scared of, you must show how strong you are by winning many clubs in UCL to the semifinals or the finals. I would not say that Arsenal lacks experience in UCL because they are always present in most UCL competitions.

Arsenal is a very good team and I agree with you that they will be able to have an excellent run in the champion league considering the fact that they have made some excellent signings and above all Jorginho has signed the renewal of his contract with Arsenal which personally is a a player who I like very much even if he didn't shine in these European games with Italy but he will have time to make up for it on the big stages

Last season we saw Arsenal could compete closely with Manchester City even though they finally had to end the season as runners-up, currently Arsenal has not been seen to have made many improvements to their team even though it is linked with many star players who will be recruited, but different with the rival Arsenal team in the league has improved their squad so we will see a fierce competition will happen next season and if Arsenal does not improve their team now then next season is difficult seeing them compete in the Premier League, especially the Champions League which is filled with the best teams in Europe at the moment, last season Arsenal was only able to penetrate the quarterfinals and it was an impressive achievement compared to the previous seasons Arsenal in the Champions League, but seeing the current Arsenal situation actually makes me doubt that they will be better next season in the Champions League, Moreover, next season every team that plays in the Champions League will get more matches to play than last season and for that they need a very capable squad to face it.

The bottom line to go to history and record is a team don't need to be a super strong and have many impressive performances. If they have these things, they are all good but the history and records care about what are the champion team of a league in each season. Champions can be called more easily than runner-ups and value of ending one season as a runner-up is very smaller in importance and recognition than as a champion.

If anyone says Arsenal is a weak team or in other words is not a strong team, it's wrong and I can debate for proving it is wrong. Otherwise, it's not easy to say Arsenal are strong and competitive enough to win Champions League. They need to improve a lot from player quality, main players to substitutions, tactics and mentality to win Champions League. Teams like Manchester City and PSG struggled many years before only Manchester City won their first Champions League title two seasons ago while PSG are still fighting for their first title.
To be honest, we all remember the invincible, not losing a single game and still not getting the title is an achievement no team in history will be able to do again at premier league if you ask me, or at least I would not expect it.

All in all, I think it's clear that we are going to end up with Arsenal being remembered era to era, like we remember Wenger era, we remember Arsenal as a good team then, and we remember Arteta being the next in line to make them good again, and in between not so great. This means even if they end up not being great, we will remember them as not being that bad neither during this period.

Hence this is why I believe that we should be giving Arteta the credit he deserves, he kept the team going with all the problems they faced at the start, and now they are almost at the top, for two years in a row. Best thing to do about this situation would be just focusing on if they can actually win the whole thing or not, most probably there will be a trouble and they will probably not win it, but I believe that they could have a chance to win it as well if they do fine at the start of the season. Getting the lead early on could help them so much for the rest of the season.

The second qualifying round of the Champions League, which starts on Tuesday, is full of important matches. In addition to our representative Fenerbahce, I am also curious about the matches of Dynamo Kiev and Bodo/Glimt. I think that Dynamo Kiev and Bodo will be guaranteed to pass the round with different victories at home. Fenerbahce will want to win in this difficult away match, but the team does not seem to be ready at the moment.

I never knew there were people who expected much from Arsenal in the UCL. Most of the people I know including myself only had expectations in them winning the EPL from the time they started the return legs and they were in pretty good standing. Unfortunately, Arsenal still lack the ability to finish strong hence, they lost the trophy to Man City. If Arsenal want to be taken seriously, they should start from the EPL first and win it, else they should never dream of winning the UCL because that game is not for kids but for adults.

The threat of Arsenal ends at group stages because that is the only time they show some courage. Beyond the group stages, any serious team can easily humble them as we have seen in several appearances they made and came back home in shame.

The decision of Flora and Celje match was understood.  Varjund did first goal of the match at the 12 minutes after starting the match. Matko did 2nd goal of match at the 73 minutes and that goal was on penalty.  And after that we saw third goal of match because Karničnik did third goal of match at the 76 minutes of match. At the time , Celje team almost won  the match because they have to defend well after that to win this match . So they did that and the result of defense is in front of that. The goal of Karničnik bent the match to their side  . The stat of Celje team is excellent because all players gave max passes as they could. After this match Celje team is more confident and they have more confident to win next match. That is good of Celje team because in game confidence matters a lot . If you are confident, most probably you will win.

No matter about Arsenal who managed to improve the quality of the team because anyway, Arsenal will only focus on the Premier League and not for the Champion League. Because anyway,  that Arsenal are also not too often able to play in the Champion League but indeed, in the last season also at least Arsenal managed to qualify for the quarter-finals but unfortunately, Arsenal lost by Bayern Munich.

But in my personal view, that is still not enough to say Arsenal are strong in the Champions League next season. Although indeed,  Arsenal have bought players and or have had good performance, but I believe Arsenal are still not strong enough if they have to compete in the Champion League. Maybe it can be concluded as well as Milan in Serie A who managed to become a team in the Scudetto competition, but in reality they are still weak for competition in the Champions League.

In the domestic league, maybe Arsenal should be taken into account in the competition for the championship trophy, but sorry, I think Arsenal is still not able to compete in the Champions League because the mentality they have is still far from other teams in the Champions League so far, we can compare last season how they also failed to give a lot of resistance to Munich even though at that time Munich was in bad condition,  next season the Champions League will use a new format in the competition and it allows many teams to participate in the Champions League next season so indirectly making Arsenal chances to go further in the Champions League very unlikely to happen, the mentality possessed by the Arsenal players is very bad when they have to face an important match and they should be able to win in the match but in fact they often slip in the match the important match.

For the past two seasons now, Arsenal has been very much in good form and playing good football. But it will be quite funny if Arsenal we have a three consecutive excellent season without any trophy to their name. This guy is were supposed to win the English Premier League title season before last and they were also supposed to win same last season. They also had the opportunity to win the Europa League season before last about all did not work. I also do not believe that they will make it work this time around if they continue with the strategy they have been using.

It is high time Arteta and his boys focused on one title or trophy and win for the club. If they think that Champions league is difficult, they should behave like Sevilla and focus on Europa. If they feel that EPL is difficult they should focus on FA cup. I no longer like this trophyless seasons for Arsenal.
