Over the past 20 years, not a single Champions League title has gone to a small or even medium-sized club. Only the top teams took part in the division: only 9 clubs received 20 titles. If we take away Real, the situation would look more diversified, but still, the last time a small club took the title was 21 years ago and it was Porto. Therefore, if you look at the situation objectively, in each season it is easy to assume that one of the top will take the title, and given the fact that some clubs are in crisis, for example Barcelona, the choice becomes even smaller.
I do not know what you mean by top teams because the top teams in each of the leagues keeps changing with just few teams like Real Madrid, Bayern Munic, Barcelona and PSG being regularly at top four. Before, Man Utd and Chelsea were top teams and champions league regulars and even winners of the same league but you will agree with me that we are seeing something different lately. Next season champions league will see some of the supposed top teams absent in the tournament, in this case it becomes an incomplete statement to conclude that champions league is only for the top teams because defining what a top team should be is something very difficult to do.

The Champions League is not just for top teams.
Yes, there have been only 9 clubs winning the title in the last 20 years,
but I don't think winning the trophy is the only aspect of the competition.

Upsets happen every year, there are always surprises of small teams beating bigger teams.
The way Manchester United couldn’t survive a group with Copenhagen and Galatasaray shows enough reasoning why I say that.
Man United is definitely the bigger club among those, but surely didn’t do justice to the "top club" definition. Maybe one of the top teams will take the title again, but the competition will always be fierce Smiley.

Everyone knows that Real Madrid is the king of Europe. It is very difficult for any club to match their performance, especially now that Real Madrid has a French star player who will make Real Madrid stronger than before, so I think other clubs will have even more difficulty thwarting that club's efforts to win the title again.
Even Man City and Bayern Munich will definitely have difficulty beating these main rivals, but yes, I also want to see a club that can surprise so that the competition looks exciting and can prove that a club studded with star players can still be beaten.
Indeed. All people around the world knows Real Madrid is very superior in UCL. They are the club that won the UCL trophy many times, they won 15 UCL trophies. For the next season, the chance of Real Madrid to win the 16th UCL trophy is very open because Mbappe already joins Rea Madrid. Mabppe is one of the best strikers in the world, he surely strengthen Real Madrid attacking power.

You're right. In theory, Man City and Bayern Munich will be more difficult to beat Real Madrid. But it is not impossible that Man City and Bayern Munich can beat Real Madrid. Sometimes when a team feels that they are stronger, they become lazy to evaluate their weakness. So if Real Madrid is too focus on attacking, their defense can be so fragile and the opponents can beat them.

By the way, there were rumors that Rabiot could continue his career in Real Madrid, but I see that he postponed the decision on this issue after the end of the Euro. He could very well replace Kroos, who retired. And Mbappe, Vinicius and Bellingham will play up front in any case, they are attacking players and it seems to me that there is no point in trying to place any of them in the midfield line.
No way!!!! It's very clear kroos's position already replaced by valverde, and real madrid is also having tchouameni. But, I can't deny that Madrid needs a new midfielder. It's to fill an empty spot after Valverde took kroos's position. And, there's no backup for Valverde.

About bellingham, do you forget this?. Bellingham played as attacking and central mid.

I think Bellingham won't play upfront. But, he will play behind Mbappe, who plays central striker. Then, Vini as left winger and, lastly, Rodygo as right winger.

Although Bellingham is nominally considered a midfielder, he still plays primarily in attack, and in this case Ancelotti will not be able to count on him in the midfield.
Ancelotti could really see that Bellingham had quite a high goal-scoring instinct, so he plotted Bellingham to move forward as a number 10 player to cover the central striker crisis that they had so far, What Ancelotti did turned out to be quite effective and was able to make Bellingham being one of the top scorers in last season, currently Mbappe arrival to Madrid has of course forced Ancelotti to re-think strategy and also appropriate positioning for Bellingham next season, as far as we know, Bellingham has his original position as a midfielder but I think He won't play as a midfielder if Ancelotti wants a really dangerous attack line next season.

Currently, Madrid is reportedly continuing to approach several new players to replace the retired Kroos, but it doesn't seem like Rabiot is Madrid's current target, Ancelotti is more interested in bringing in Bruno Guimaraes and Florian Wirtz as another solution for their midfield next season, but I think the need for midfielders is not the most urgent thing for Madrid now, because they still have a lot of young midfielders in their current squad.
With the current composition of players, Ancelotti can more freely apply any strategy, there is no doubt that his experiment has been running smoothly. Ancelotti has several lineup options for his front line, but what he might choose is to play Vinicius, Mbappe, Rodrygo with Bellingham behind them.

At first glance Madrid would have a too attacking team with these four players in one lineup, but I think we will actually see Ancelotti fielding them together next season, that would be a very good experiment. Apart from that, with the many competitions in which Madrid participates, it is possible for Ancelotti to rotate them according to needs.

On the other hand, regarding potential replacements for Kroos, it looks like Madrid will try to recruit Florian Wirtz from Leverkusen, although that will not happen in this transfer window. For next season, although several rumors are developing, Florian Wirtz is a more suitable player for Madrid, he could be the successor to another German player in Madrid.

I think that is an obligation that other teams have to do and maybe it requires strategy to a decent squad depth to be able to do it. If any team makes it to the final round and faces Real Madrid then it is clear that they will not be able to win the title and Real Madrid will be the champions. Therefore, before reaching the final round, Real Madrid must be knocked out in the quarters or semifinals because otherwise they will continue to dominate the Champions League.
Like last season where Manchester City eliminated Madrid before the UCL final and finally Manchester City became UCL champions for the first time stopping Madrid's dominance in the UCL by beating Intermilan in the final, but unfortunately last season Manchester City failed to eliminate Madrid. There was a clear opportunity for Madrid to chase the trophy. The UCL went smoothly and beat Dortmund in the UCL final, but in the new season there will be many surprises and I also hope that not only Manchester City but there are other teams that can beat Madrid but no one has been able to beat them except strong teams like Manchester City or Munich. Moreover, Madrid has the new strength of Mbappe, it is clear that it will also make it difficult for other teams to break their dominance in the UCL next season.
Real Madrid rules the Champions League. They dominate finals like pros. Why? Its about their winning mindset, not simply the players. They keep going when they're losing. They can fix it. This makes them hard to beat.

How does this affect next season? It means everyone else has challenges. Mbappé will make them more hazardous. He's speedy, accurate, and will improve their offense. They may become unstoppable.

Manchester City must stop them before the final. They must beat them early before Real Madrid magic takes over. They're the team to beat in the final, according to history.

Although Jude Bellingham plays as a midfielder for Real Madrid, he plays as a striker for the England national team. Real Madrid have recruited quality players to their club and by far the most talked about players are those who play for Real Madrid. Mbappe joins Real Madrid again If Mbappe doesn't mix well with all the other stars, it could lead to a bad situation in the dressing room as we saw at PSG. Mbappé is an arrogant player he didn't care much about other players when he was at PSG but if he wants to do the same at Real Madrid he won't care because Madrid has a good bond between all the other players. If the manager of Real Madrid can build a good relationship with each player, then the performance on the field will be much better.

All over Europe the strength that Madrid posses has been a center of attention such that it has become something most teams especially in the champions league would want to contend and possibly denied them of the title but then one thing has been sure and that is in the fact that Madrid still have the strength they have built and any team ready to contend them is definitely not going to find it any funny, it's definitely going to be a tough game for any of these teams.

To match Real Madrid performance, I think every club can do that, but surpassing the record that Madrid has achieved will be difficult or even impossible for the next decade. 14 UCL trophies are proof that Real Madrid existence will remain the best of all time. Once again, the quality of the game etc. is still very possible and next season every club will target Madrid as the club to beat. Moreover the upcoming UCL is still a mystery, teams throughout Europe are competing to improve their squads as best as possible.

The new Galacticos equipped with the arrival of Mbappe will make it difficult for any team when facing Real Madrid. Just look at how they played with a squad that didn't have a pure striker after Benzema left, there wasn't the slightest shortcoming in their squad because the players covered each other's shortcomings in their squad. As a result, Real Madrid managed to win the most prestigious trophy among other tournaments in Europe.

Now that the Galacticos rebuild is complete, they are ready to battle to regain success in the new season. Real Madrid players who are increasingly improving in terms of experience and ability will make it easier to win trophies. Currently Manchester City is still a team that can match Real Madrid, it is very interesting to see the match when the two face each other.

Okay, I love soccer and Real Madrid. But all of "Real Madrid vs. Manchester City" is just another soap opera. Both teams have rich skill, but its bought. Unfortunately, the game works that way. Haaland and Vinicius Jr. are great players. But at the end of the day, they're just kicking a ball around for a paycheck. A business, not a passion. Yes, you may watch and support your team. Keep the big picture in mind. There's more to the world than millionaires chasing trophies.
Haha, you need to know that some football fans, including me, don't care about all that because if we talk about players, I would say that only Ronaldo is the favorite and is still the best player in my opinion.
I don't know who Real Madrid have now, who are great players and also quite dominant, but what is clear is that I like their playing style which is quite solid and reliable, they show how artistic football is and that is what we want to see.
Likewise with Manchester City who have players like Haaland and they can always provide playing skills that create dramatic games, this is competition and the most important thing is being able to watch two big and strong team meet to fight for victory and the title.

If you look at truly competitive rivalry, I would say it is between Real Madrid vs Barcelona and this is the only derby that is the most impressive, especially in the last few seasons when there were still great players from each team.
But unfortunately they did not meet in the UCL when they entered the final, unlike Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich and Dortmund who met in the UCL final.

Real Madrid will be very hot next season just because of Mbappe's presence, but that doesn’t mean the Champions League will be easy for them. Just like you said, next season will be the last season for Guardiola at Manchester City, so he will do everything in his power to win the Champions League for the club before leaving, and we know Manchester City also has a strong squad. So I can’t really say Real Madrid will win the Champions League next season, but I know the season will be an interesting one that everyone will enjoy.

I’m also not expecting Real Madrid to win the Champions League next season because Manchester City and other clubs who are even tougher than Real Madrid are going to be fully ready for next season's Champions League. I believe next season will be a hot season, and again, I'm expecting Real Madrid to do more than they did last season because of the beast they have in their squad Now, Mbappe is a very talented player. He can do everything in his power to get the visibility he wants in Real Madrid, but what I’m also doubting is the trophy for the Champions League next season. I think it will be difficult for Real Madrid.
Looking at the superiority of quality, Real Madrid has more quality players and it is clear that their talent is under the tutelage of Ancelotti Real Madrid players are able to perform successfully. However, the competition next season will be fierce even though Real Madrid has recruited Mbappe, whose performance and talent are clear but there will be other teams who have the same high ambition to win the Champions League title.  Real Madrid will not easily win the title again even though they have a big chance because there is Manchester City and I think they are able to compete with Real Madrid.
Of course, other big teams like Manchester City will not let Real Madrid dominate the Champions League again. Even though Real Madrid will do their best to dominate the Champions League I think there will be big and tough challenges for them that will prevent them from winning the Champions League title. who knows who will win the title next season only time will tell. but what is certain is that all teams have big ambitions to win the Champions League title including Real Madrid, which has previously won the Champions League title.
Although Jude Bellingham plays as a midfielder for Real Madrid, he plays as a striker for the England national team. It will be difficult for City to stop Real Madrid next season in UCL because the Real Madrid have strengthen the club more than last season that they won City in the quarter finals. Mbappe is a big advantage to Real Madrid and it means that they will be able to score more goals and defeat whoever the clash with.

If only City will not play Real Madrid early like last season, it is possible that City will go far. After next season we might not see much from City again if Pep leaves because the new coach might not have all the experience and skills that Pep is using to move the club to success. This is where Real Madrid will continue to dominate the league, maybe another club will become a rival to Real Madrid by then.

indeed everyone knows that Real Madrid is a strong team that is difficult to beat, and with the arrival of the new players they have recruited it will indeed make Real Madrid stronger on the front line, but no matter how strong their performance there will definitely be a team that can beat them or match them. . Apart from that, of course there are other equally strong teams that could hinder their achievements, even though the chance is small it doesn't rule out the possibility that Real Madrid can be beaten. With a team that can beat Real Madrid maybe they will be the team with the most streak because they can beat the king of Europe.
with Manchester City which is equally strong even though it is not the same in terms of strength and Bayern Munich which also has good performance but for now I think they are experiencing problems which are causing them to experience a decline in performance, but with Manchester City I think they can still keep up with Real Madrid even though it is difficult for Manchester City but of course they will try as much as possible to prevent Real Madrid from winning the title again.

When facing Real Madrid in the Champions League final, it will be very difficult to beat them. Statistics say that of the 18 times they reached the Champions League final, they only lost 3 times and they managed to win the other 15. From there we can see that Real Madrid's winning percentage in the final is very high, so I agree that it is easier to beat Real Madrid before they reach the final. In fact I can't remember the last time they lost in the Champions League final.
Real Madrid's mentality is the mentality that I think is the strongest at the moment, with that they can be helped. In fact, in several matches they had to fall behind first, then they were able to equalize and even reverse the situation. The situation when they are left behind is a situation where a team's mentality must be very good, because otherwise they will be pessimistic about achieving victory. That doesn't apply to Real Madrid, because they will continue to be optimistic before the match actually ends.

They made it to the champions league doesn't mean that it's guaranteed they would have a good experience there and besides no team would take them for granted anymore as they are fully aware of their capability and know exactly they are can do. The champions league this season is no joke and another team everyone would be looking to stop would be Madrid as it would be a complete joke to allow them win again in the champions league.

Throughout Europe, Real Madrid has received a lot of attention and of course this will definitely happen to any club if its performance is good and now Real Madrid has won prestigious titles such as the Champions League and others which will definitely make other teams want to beat them even though they know Real's strength. Madrid is in good form and surely in the coming season (2024-2025) the team that successfully advances to the 2024-2025 Champions League will test Real Madrid's strength.

But yes, the presence of Mbappe at Real Madrid will certainly make Real Madrid stronger, but of course other teams will also try to play optimally in the 2024-2025 UCL. In my opinion, clubs like Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Dortmund will definitely have difficulties. But of course we won't know Real Madrid's performance even though they currently have a very good squad.

Yes, if for example something like that happened, like Real Madrid losing when competing in the UCL, it would certainly be a funny thing and would definitely be an extraordinary surprise. But what is clear is that Real Madrid is still the favorite team to become champions like in the UCL and Laliga. Yes, let's see what happens when the French star player is coached by Ancelotti.

But this season Real Madrid will surely stop Manchester City, because Real Madrid have added star players to the team. But they have performed without stars in the past and they have performed quite well. But we will be able to enjoy the toughest competition matches between these two teams and the betting will also be the highest pleasure.

let's always remember that from this year there will be a new champions league formula which will certainly give the possibility of having many more teams competing for the competition, there will be many more matches, the thing I don't understand is why before everyone was against the super league but then they invented something like this, distorting the competition and making it ridiculous. I personally don't like it but it will certainly be an advantage for the small clubs

If you're being truthful to yourself you should have known that Real Madrid hasn't won a single Champions League on a platter of gold. It's always through a whole lot of pushing, hard work, and a mixture of luck that has made them win in the Champions League. You can't write off other teams' performance and assume that coming into this season they will still win it. From the play at the Euros and Copa America, notice that most of the real Madrid Star players are playing below their standard and if you look at the most resourceful players in each of the teams in the different continents, it's more from other clubs and less for the Real Madrid side.

Vini jnr, Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham who stood strong as the strong men in the real Madrid squared are still struggling at both the Euros and the Copa America and Mbape who's even coming in to support their attack isn't doing quite well for France.  We can't make any conclusions yet as to Real Madrid's ability to win another Champions League with this squad until the next season starts and I'm seeing this season favoring more of Manchester City even more than Real Madrid cause of the kind of play Doku and KDB are putting up, if they bring it back to the Manchester City team and Phil Foden maintain the kind of play he puts forward in the last season, it's going to be difficult for another team to win Manchester City.

They made it to the champions league doesn't mean that it's guaranteed they would have a good experience there and besides no team would take them for granted anymore as they are fully aware of their capability and know exactly they are can do. It could be said that Real Madrid is the main obstacle if you want to win the Champions League title and this is proven by what Manchester City will do in 2023 after successfully eliminating Real Madrid and winning its first Champions League title. On the other hand, if we go back a few years, when Liverpool always met Real Madrid in the quarters or in the final, the result was clear that Real Madrid came out as champions. Because of that, Jurgen Kloop was very annoyed when asked that his next opponent would be Real Madrid because it was that difficult for them to face Real Madrid.
