Any expectations related to Arsenal are actually too much because we all know that Arsenal started the season quite well but they don't have the mentality of being champions, several failures are the basic reason for doubts about them.
But in the future, no one knows what it will be like it clear that for UCL, I myself won't have much hope for Arsenal because there is team that is much stronger and can be favored as team with quite big chance of success.
If Arsenal are indeed able to win the title next season, perhaps only in the Premier League and not the UCL, my estimate is that Arsenal will probably only finish the UCL competition like last season, where they were eliminated before entering the semifinals.
Moreover, even though have lot of expensive players, if are not able to use them well it will be waste, players are very influential on the development of football team, but solid and consistent performance would be much better.
Arsenal "might" succeed in the Premier League but not going no where near the Champions League title. Manchester City are not having their primary aim targeted at the Premier League, already won four in a row what more do they need, I feel they are willing to sacrifice the PL title for the Champions League, having lost to Madrid, guess we don't plan seeing that happen again.

Football is not about how much worth a player, players can be bountifully purchased but under perform, take a look at some Chelsea players. Arsenal has the squad but they feel a lot relaxed once they begin topping the table.
If Arsenal again fails to meet expectations in the Premier League and Champions League next season, in my opinion Arteta deserves to be fired, and Arsenal must have the courage to spend more money to appoint a more experienced coach. Arteta main priority is to end the Premier League title drought which has lasted for two decades, the Champions League trophy is still too difficult for them. The existence of Manchester City makes it difficult for Arsenal dreams to be realized at the domestic level, especially in the Champions League which has more elite teams. However, what Arteta has done in the last two seasons deserves appreciation, he has succeeded in managing Arsenal to get better every season. We realize that Arsenal has all the attributes needed to achieve success, but the front line of Arteta squad still needs to be improved.

Arsenal has a good chance to compete for the Champions League but they are not on the list to win it or reach the finals. I suggest they should focus mainly on winning the Premier League which will enhance their chances of winning the Champion League anytime soon. Arsenal are likely favoured to win the Premier League this season if only they would enhance their performance since Manchester City is a better contestant for the Champions League, for what I know they will try as much to devote more effort into UCL other than the Premier League which gives Arsenal a bolder step to accumulate more points than City.
Expectations for Arsenal last season in the Champions League were actually quite good, especially when they performed consistently in the Premier League, to the point where many predicted they could get rid of Bayern Munich in the quarter finals. In fact, Arsenal ended the season empty handed, without a single trophy in their cupboard. This failure was very disappointing for fans, because Arteta had built a very good squad with a number of expensive players in his squad. Next season, if Arsenal perform consistently in the Premier League, it is likely that they will perform with the same performance in the Champions League, but Arteta would be better off prioritizing winning the Premier League trophy first. Because theoretically, the competition in the Premier League is more capable of being controlled by Arsenal than the Champions League, even though the number of matches is much different.

Arsenal really tried their best in the Champions League competition last season, although it is true that Bayern Munich beat them with experience. If not Arsenal, we’re doing very well last season, but next season they will do even better in the Champions League since they already have the experience. I can’t predict, but I can give them hope for winning the trophy next season.

Since they got to the quarterfinals last season, they will definitely win the trophy next season. We should be expecting more from them. I’m expecting Arsenal to comeback with a better performance that will give them a trophy next season, both in the Champions League and Premier League.
The trouble is that being able to go for three titles at the same time is nearly impossible, most teams give up on FA cup first of course, so lets assume two. You need experience along with talent, and you need a deep squad.

You can definitely buy your way into a deep squad if you want to, but you also need all of those people to have some experience, so if you want to win a title, you need to get people who already got title, not the whole squad but a few of them would benefit a lot. Right now, Arsenal failed to win the title for many years now, and they failed to get UCL too, so that means, they do not have that experience right now and each time they try, they reach what their talent can bring, but when experience matters, they fail.

Isak is a great striker, I think he would definitely be great for Arsenal, they are going to need some help up front. People always talk about how a team has this position locked or that position great, but you always need more players in positions so that you could have alternatives, and you could always plan for the future as well.

I had such discussion with a close pal but he didn't see things the same way which I did anyways. When I looked at the players recently brought in by Mikel Arteta after Manchester City leapfrogged them to finally win the Premier League Competition, they made significant signatures that turned things around.

I looked at introduction of Declan Rice from West Ham United, Trossad from Brighton and then David Raya from Brentford United. These are obviously players who had experience already in the Premier League and settled in completely and speedily immediately they was signed into Arsenal.

The same could still happen for Isaak but, Arsenal haven't made anymove for him. Players they signed from the Premier League Competition are ready to make quick impact and I'd love to see him bringing the swedish international. The most important thing is the Premier League Competition and not the Champions League Competition. Hopefully they chase the right chase.

I know that it is not going to end up being all that crazy, we should just consider that Isak would be first option, and Jesus would probably play around him, and sub from the bench during the games as well. That way nobody gets too tired, it would benefit them and it would also mean that the yare going to be able to provide some good competition in all three different places that they will play.
Real Madrid will be the strongest team for the Champions League next season. Bayan munich has a lot of problems, they won't be able to do so well at least in the Champions League with these problems. Manchester City lost many players last season on the contrary they didn't buy any significant players so if they don't buy players this season they won't do very well in the Champions League tournament. Real Madrid's XI was weak last season but this season their XI is absolutely clean. Real Madrid has good quality players in every position in the team now, so I can definitely say in advance that they will do well in the Champions League tournament next season.
Undoubtedly, yes, because they got the capacity of players in their to help them out, plus the signing of Kylian Mbappé is really going to help step up the performance of the team greatly this season, but yet, isn't still going to be an easy Champions League season game for them because other teams are gonna tight up their squad too, but if at the of the season they were able to lift the trophy it means they will be creating a record that would be hard for other team to break.

Especially in the Champions League Arsenal lacks mentality and they lose in experience to Bayern Munich because it was proven that they had so much difficulty when facing the German giants. If the problem is in the front line then for the Premier League they will also experience the same thing but the front line they have is quite productive in scoring goals.
I think they are just used to the premier leaguestyle of playing... they tend to perform better in premier  league maybe because they've studied almost each team  pattern and style of playing  by competing with  them frequently...on the other hand  they are not used to the Bundesliga style  that's why champions league is a hard one because  it brings together  different league teams with different playing styles

Arsenal's great performances were really noticed by almost everyone. They really performed well last season, both in their domestic league and the Champions League. Arsenal did not win any trophies last season, but honestly, I was very impressed by their performances. As the Champions League started, I did not think that Arsenal would make it to the quarter-finals with their squad because it was full of inexperienced Champions League players. Only a few had full Champions League experience. Again, they did not have a better striker.I just wish they had a better striker. It is very possible that Arsenal would have been able to defeat Bayern Munich because they wasted a lot of good chances. If they had a sharp striker, they could have turned those chances into goals.
Arsenal's performance has indeed improved since the last two seasons and they have played much more consistently under Arteta's coaching. But from a series of good performances that they have shown, Arsenal still have difficulty reaching a good end and have always failed to lift the trophy at the end of any competition. Especially in the Champions League and Arsenal are not strong enough to compete with other teams so they fail and this is a weakness that Arteta must fix because in football it's not just about playing well but the final target as a champion

Especially in the Champions League Arsenal lacks mentality and they lose in experience to Bayern Munich because it was proven that they had so much difficulty when facing the German giants. Mikel Arteta should try and make a major signing this summer to help improve the Arsenal team more than they are at the moment so that Arsenal can become one of the best teams in Europe
Actually, Arsenal doesn't need big players, with players like last season Arsenal can compete well, maybe the intention is good for a stronger squad, but does Arsenal have enough money to recruit big players just for the ambition of winning the Premier League title next season?  I think that with the current players it is much safer than adding ammunition, unless there is a weak position in Arsenal's line, there is a big possibility that it could happen to bring in a player who can contribute well to Arsenal.
Reportedly currently Arsenal has indeed targeted several players to be recruited in the transfer market, but so far no player has officially joined them, the Arsenal squad last season was quite capable but they did not have enough squad depth to face a busy schedule, the performance and also the quality of Arsenal has improved since Arteta coached but unfortunately they still failed to be able to win the Premier League, arsenal must Improvement and also the addition of new players in order to be able to get the depth of a qualified squad to face the competition of the Premier League and also the Champions League next season.

@samurajin, I think you are still stuck in the Arsenal era of Wenger friends, Arsenal is not a poor team and does not have enough finances to buy big and expensive players right now, Arsenal has spent a lot of money and made a breakthrough by making transfers of players who do have expensive prices such as Declan Rice, Aubameyang, Pepe, and also Kai Havertz all this time,  But if you say Arsenal is more selective in choosing and buying expensive players, of course I agree with you very much, because I saw so far Arsenal has been too selective in spending a lot of money in buying players.

Arsenal performance this season has reached a point that satisfies its fans even though they failed to compete with Manchester City in the hunt for the EPL trophy. Arsenal improved performance will have a positive impact on them in facing competition in the Champions League, defeat to Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals will be a motivation for Arsenal to go even further.
Mistakes must be used as lessons to increase motivation in achieving success in the Champions League. Arsenal must always maintain their best performance to open up opportunities to become a team that can provide competition to other favorite teams in winning the UCL trophy.

The fact is that Arsenal team has experienced a lot of improvement in the team since the arrival of Arteta but the last two seasons were one of their best because they came close to winning the English premier league but lost it to Manchester City and last season they were in superb form again as they were seen as one of the teams that will be in the champions league finals since their opponent in the champions league quarter finals Bayern Munich was experiencing a very poor form in the league but Arsenal still lost to them and lost the league title to Manchester City also. Next season is not far they can still go all the way to be champions league winners next season I don't think it will take them a long time to achieve.

The domestic league and the champions league have different atmospheres in their competition, so far many club clubs that have performed impressively in the league and are filled with many stars still fail to compete in the champions league, to be able to compete in the champions league of course a club must not only have a qualified squad, but also must be supported by mentality,  Performance and consistency good enough to be able to overcome every hurdle that exists from the best European team playing in the Champions League, last season we admit that if Arsenal have grown rapidly with Arteta, Arsenal have shown a significant improvement in the performance of their squad and are able to become Premier League title contenders.

The ability possessed by Arsenal today certainly gives great hope to its fans to see Arsenal can return to glory like in the past, but I personally am quite confident that Arsenal will be able to remain a title contender in the English league, but for the Champions League, arsenal it seems that they are not quite capable of doing so, there is still a lot that must be fixed by Arteta in order to be able to make Arsenal can compete in the Champions League next season.
Huge difference level between Champion League and domestic league, Arsenal had consistent performance in domestic league eliminated by Bayern Munich at quarter final round with inconsistent their performance in domestic league this season and finish on 3rd standings place.
Have bigger compensation for any teams can reach higher round in Champion League make many teams more motivate keep consistent their performance and earn much money as their higher round achievement.

Accept or not for Arsenal's fans, their team is the only one top teams in European have existing or participating many time in Champion League but never winning yet and only reach once time only for the final round. Wish Arsenal have difference performance for next season and ability reach the final round or get the Champion League trophy for the first time.

If we decide to focus to win all competition then we might lose all because their is no way you can chase two rat and be able to catch even one its not possible. So it will be better for Arsenal to focus more on the Premier League than want to win two trophies at once if it is possible.

I don’t see anything wrong in them trying to make a chase on the two trophies. If they don’t learn how to fight for two trophies at a time, how will they be able to win against teams that win two trophies or trebles in every season. This is not something that hard to do. If they’re not good as a team, they’ll lose out in all competitions they’re participating in even if they’re just focused on one competition. Let them extend their fight to more than one trophy a season.
I love the way you reasoned this, just that Arsenal sucks too much when it comes to Champions League they don't make it far at all,I think they are mostly after the league  title they've won it before they can still win it again if they are willing  to  work more although they already work enough I don't just know why they fail when it comes to die minute game s... and the funniest part is they make the silly mistakes to clubs that you can't expect maybe they overlooks them don't know, they need to understand there're no small team again and max effort is required  for all game.... let's  just hope they perform flawlessly this coming season
It seems if Arsenal are leading the league, they do feel very reluctant to continue fighting because maybe they feel that they have already won it. This is the reason why they do lose focus on the dying minutes and allow the title to slip of their hands. I don't know if they will be able to overcome that spirit of losing focus next season. Next season will be a torque of war in the league and if Arsenal repeats the same mistake, it means that they might not be able to win the league, because they have a very strong squad currently.

Not only Arsenal, but all clubs' targets are to win their domestic title or perform well in their domestic league. The UEFA Champions League competition is one of the most difficult competitions to play, and you are not certain of winning the UEFA Champions League trophy because you will be playing against the best clubs in the European leagues. Even if Arsenal goes to the market and buys a striker worth $100 million, which I believe will not significantly improve their team's performance. It became tiresome watching them consistently make it to the UCL only to drop out early because of their lack of mental toughness. They never learned from their mistakes.. Arsenal was quite balanced last season, but the UCL isn't just about scoring goals.

The market has always offered arteta opportunities. But I thought this wasn't the club's main issue. The winning mentality cannot be purchased. But it must be developed. Arsenal will almost certainly repeat last season's results.

Arsenal's performances have really improved, and it is noticeable. Even as they performed last season, if Arsenal can work more on their squad, I believe that Arsenal will surely do well in the next Champions League competition.

The reason why Arsenal was disqualified from the quarterfinal last season was the lack of experienced Champions League players. I don't think Bayern Munich would have been able to defeat them and send them out of the competition. Arsenal played well against Bayern Munich, but their lack of experience was why they lost to Bayern. From the experience some of their players have gathered now, if they can sign more quality players, especially adding a striker to the team, there will be more improvement. I am not saying that Arsenal will win the Champions League, but they may reach the semifinal or final.

I think Arsenal's main focus is to get good results in the Premier League, so eventhough Arsenal is a team in the race for the Premier League trophy but the reality is that Arsenal is still not strong  enough in the Champion League. Moreover, Arsenal's squad is also at least dominated by young  players and thus, they still need to build a better winning mentality. It is clear that Arsenal managed to improve theirquality in the Premier League but not in the Champions League. With this factor,  I think Arsenal are more ambitious to get the Premier League trophy first before going  further in the Champions League.Because the competition in the Champions League is certainly very difficult.
Arsenal's main target is not the Champions League but the Domestic League, winning the Champions League is a bonus for Arsenal, but Arsenal's game must remain consistent in the Champions League, even though there are many choices that Arsenal will take next season, that doesn't mean they are unable to compete, Arteta must focus  with stamina and mentality that will be built next season.
