May be, I am not so sure and I know that Madrid has proven a lot of people wrong, me included. It was time and time again that they won the title, but when you watch closely, you know how the margins were.

To think that Real Madrid is some super power power is naive.

Real Madrid and Man City are, without a doubt, two of the strongest teams in the world at this time. They are Champions League champions in the last two seasons. They own two top coaches, Carlo Ancelotti at Real and Pep Guardiola at Man City. And of course, they also own a team with the most number of stars. However, Real Madrid is the king in the Champions League playground. Coach Pep Guardiola understands this better than anyone. If anyone thinks that Man City can easily "pocket" the second Champions League trophy, they will have to think again.
The combination of Mbappe and Vinicius is expected to create a formidable attacking pair; no club will be able to stop them from continuing to win the championship next season. They can help Real Madrid extend its era of dominance once again. Talented Pep Guardi probably won't be able to find the answer to solve this problem.

I think Mbappe might actually be an Achilles heel to Real Madrid, both on and off the field. Remember the time Madrid had the likes of  Ronaldo Beckham Zidane Roberto Carlos Raul and all the other stars in that team but they didn’t win the Champions league then, I feel same might happen again and with the ego of Mbappe there might be problems in the dressing room but for sure if they all can sync the attacking force of Madrid will be Deadly and destructive. Madrid was a team this season let’s see how they play next season.

Pep said his team is the best and he believes coming season they would dominate the league and win the Champions league title whether Madrid sign Mbappe or not that he believes his team is very prepared and surely they must win the league coming season. Madrid are entitled according to their performance and in addition with the deal on Mbappe which will strengthen the attacking force of Madrid despite accumulating such potentials City are still in the fight for the title strongly believing it is their time to win it and Guardiola don't just say things he isn't capable of.

Well it happens that they happen to have the highest nominations to bee the favourite most season, but that has not made them the only favourite, even currently people ha e got their favourite of which Madrid isn't the team they see as favourite, I wish another team gets to win the league title this time so it doesn't get to the point we get bored with Madrid always winning the league almost every season.

The only team that gets to top the list after Madrid has always been Manchester city but last season they weren't able to get pass the quarter finals where they met Madrid,  Manchester city and Madrid has been the only two teams who in recent times have been alternating between been the winners.of the trophy and even in this new season, it very likely they are the two top favourite again as they both have a very outstanding and unique strength that isn't common with other teams in the champions league even in the fact that those other teams are top teams in their domestic leagues aswell.

If Madrid wins again this new season, it will be the sixteenth champions league of which is a very historic record which is literally going to take almost a whole long Year for any other team to achieve such but then I don't want to be too forward as rbw champions league is yet to kick off even at this moment, the champions league will be Im about three or four months from now and until then we can't be really certain of what it's going to look like.

Recruiting Mbappe is very beneficial for Madrid in many ways, especially to defend the Champions League and La Liga trophies next season. Only Bayern Munchen and Man City are closest to Madrid at the moment. This is not to belittle the other Champions League contestants, but in terms of squad depth these two teams deserve to be below Madrid at the moment. If Arsenal were able to beat Bayern Munchen in the quarter finals yesterday, I would put them in the top three in place of Bayern Munchen.

At the moment it is actually still quite difficult to compile a list of favorite teams, because we have not seen the depth of each team squad, considering that the transfer window has not yet opened. However, Madrid, Man City and Bayern Munchen in general really deserve to be favorites every season. Meanwhile, the surprise from the dark horse team is also worth considering, the competition for the trophy will be more difficult next season. Meanwhile, for the first time next season Champions League will follow a new format.

For Real Madrid to have that amount of champions league which is considered to be the most difficult competition in Europe, it show that they are the most successful team in Europe and considering their squad next season, most football analysts have already predicted that Real Madrid would once again win the champions league. Having Mbappe in the team is a great opportunity for them to do better than the just concluded season. Don't quote me wrong, they played outstandingly well last season but I believe they'll do better next season in terms of goals and possession. Real Madrid has always been Mbappe's dream club and it's obvious he is happy about his signings.

Well, we all had known for quite a long time that Mbappé was eventually going to leave PSG. It is just a matter of time. So if PSG are actually clever, they have actually prepared for this situation. It is not like this was a sudden decision from him. And PSG should really not be at a loss here. They knew this was going to happen and they should have prepared for it. I know that at this moment there is no player actually like Mbappé probably in the whole world. So finding a replacement for him is very hard.

PSG should also be careful about managing the club and the squad. Because they had definitely given a lot of privilege to Mbappé in PSG. And when you give a certain player the authority over others and also privilege over others, he’s going to get spoiled. And that’s what happened. We have seen Mbappé doing some crazy things which was definitely unacceptable. I hope that does not happen with any other players in the future.

Maybe what @Helena Yu wrote regarding the chances of each team, is only based on her personal assumptions and speculation. and I think it's valid for him to have an opinion, even though we agree that it seems too irrelevant. whether for City, Arsenal, even PSG. After all, the teams mentioned in this post will add strength to their squad to face new competitions. Even though Madrid has Mbappe, it doesn't necessarily mean they will be totally strong. For me personally, compared to City, Pep Guardiola's team has a better game and tactics than Real Madrid. We can refer to the last two meetings between these two teams in the Champions League, City always dominated the game. Even though there is currently Mbappe, it is not an easy matter to overthrow City, who always have a way of playing well and dominating the game. Unfortunately, they failed in the final shootout.

As for Arsenal, to be honest, I personally, as a fan, don't have high hopes for this competition. However, if Arteta adds to the strength of his squad by bringing in several players plus a pure striker, this English team could be even stronger than last season. What is certain is that Arsenal can become an obstacle team for whoever their opponents are in this competition later.  Likewise with several other teams mentioned in this thread, especially Leverkusen, whose performance we don't yet know. It could be that Alonso will still be able to make Leverkusen as strong as last season. At least, before the Champions League competition was rolled out, we only assumed based on personal perspective. although, supported by data and statistics. The problem is, it could be that some of the top teams we mentioned are experiencing poor performance. So, let's just wait for this competition to roll out plus clubs are currently hunting for players to strengthen their team squad.

If we assume that Real Madrid will not participate in the competition, and there is some club that is so strong that the probability of winning the title is 0.3, then it will take 15/0.3 = 50 years to win 15 titles.
But this is if we are talking about a club that does not yet have a single title. If we are talking about Milan, then the period is reduced by almost half, but still this is on the condition that Real stops winning titles, so if we think rationally, the forecast period must be increased again.
In any case, we are talking about tens of years.

I agree that defending champions that added Mbappe to their squad seems like a MUCH better chance to win the title this season. I do not know who made that chart, but I am pretty sure that it's someone who doesn't understand much about European competitions.

I mean if they knew just even a little bit then they would know that UCL is something Madrid strives at and that means the yare going to be quite good at it, we shouldn't really be expecting them to lose at all, they should be probably doing it as well as they could. I am not saying that we are going to end up with anything bigger or better, we are going to probably see them do fine, so it's going to be quite good, we need to just keep it going as much as we possibly could and eventually will see Madrid win.

Real Madrid has a stable squad. Madrid players have performed well this season. Especially Toni Kross, Bellingham and Vini's excellent performances led to La Liga and Champions League titles. Mbappe is going to join the Madrid squad next season. Mbappe has the ability to score a lot. With Mbappe, Madrid's attack will be even stronger. So it is expected that we will see the dominance of Madrid in the Champions League and La Liga next season as well.

I don't have high hopes for Bayern Munich next season either. I can't trust the new coach of Munich. However, Manchester City will certainly compete hard for the Champions League title next season. Meanwhile, Arsenal will be looking to strengthen their squad next season to win the Premier League and Champions League titles.

Real Madrid is always the favorite in the UCL every season. No one doubts their performance. They became the first and only team to win the UCL for 3 consecutive seasons from 2015/2016 to 2017/2018. In fact, Real Madrid is always the #1 or #2 favorite every season. I think there is no other team that can consistently be the favorite to win like Real Madrid. So it's not surprising that many always include Real Madrid in their favorite list.
With Mbappe joining next season, it is difficult to see which team can stop their dominance in the UCL and in La Liga next season.

If every team that had a squad like Real Madrid was guaranteed to win the title every season, then we would definitely find them dominating titles in all competitions. Of course we never know what will happen to Real Madrid next season regardless of the players in the squad, obviously it really depends on their performance on the pitch.

Real Madrid is still very likely to fail to defend its title next season if other teams can do better. Competition will be very tight between the teams that qualify, so of course it won't be as easy as we imagined today. We have seen Real Madrid almost failed by Leipzig and Manchester City in the last 16 and quarter-finals last season, so perhaps experiences like that could be used as a reason why Real Madrid and all the other teams are not guaranteed to win the title.

This is actually coming from the imagination of @Helena Yu but there is a deep truth in this prediction seeing the current squad of the Real Madrid team for next season, most times the quality players in a team is used to determine the performance of the team in a season and regardless of the season not yet started, Real Madrid has had one of the best and biggest signing of the season which means they are already prepared to win the champions league again since they added another weapon to their team despite having a very good team.

Manchester City, Arsenal and the other teams were not underestimated but let's face reality I don't think the other teams will be able to withstand the current squad of the Madrid team next season, there's Mbappe, Vinicous Junior, Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo and others which is already enough to defeat any team in the world I wonder what the other teams will be expecting when they play against a team like Madrid so personally I think this imagination is coming to reality because Real Madrid has the advantage of winning the champions league next season.

Yes that's correct. Real Madrid is the team most likely to be the favorite for the title next season even though its rivals are also looking to win it. If Bayern Munich and Manchester City could meet Real Madrid in the knockout round, then perhaps Real Madrid could lose and fail to defend its title.

On paper, Real Madrid are the favorites for next season. I won't argue that ever, but Real Madrid may still fail especially if all of Ancelotti's plans don't match reality. A luxurious squad never guarantees success, but success can be achieved with good team performance. Nothing is as smooth as we talked about, there are always obstacles along the way.

Should I say this is funny, or what am I even supposed to say to you because this is purely your imagination? In a season that is still yet to start, you have to start sitting down and writing about the chance of getting the league title without seeing how the teams will perform. How do you think this thing is going to work? However, I don't know what you think about Arsenal being just 1%. You really underestimate Arsenal. Seriously, let me tell you, Arsenal can still win the Champions League title next season.

Arsenal is not bad to the extent you are thinking. Furthermore, you still compare Arsenal with Inter Milan, Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Leverkusen, and Bayern Munich. Honestly, Arsenal are far better than all this.

Real Madrid without doubt will be the favorite team to win the UEFA Champions League title come next season not because they won it this season but because they've added more quality players to the squad. The club recently announced the signing of France international Kylian Mbappe who's arguably the best striker in the world at the moment and with the presence of Kylian Mbappe in the team coupled with the already intimidating squad of the club, it'll be very difficult for any other club to face Real Madrid next season.
That being said, there are other few clubs that might stop Real Madrid from defending the UEFA Champions League title come next season such as Manchester City and Bayern Munich. These two clubs in my opinion will be more improved than they were in the just concluded season. We're surely gonna experience a very interesting campaign in the competition come next season and I can't wait for the commensement

Although it is true, it is still very far from starting the new season but still, when it comes about  the Champions League I think Real Madrid always has a good chance of getting the trophy. Although, of course, there are still other teams that will also have a chance to become candidates for winning the trophy, but Real Madrid chances are still the highest and that makes perfect sense. Moreover, if next season Real Madrid has Mbappe in their squad then ofcourse, I think there is no doubt that Real Madrid will still have a chance to win the trophy. Because after all, it seems like other teams still have to try to improve the quality of their performance to be better, while Real Madrid already has a good squad and performance and they just need to make it consistent and that is enough for Real Madrid to have a good chance of getting a trophy.

Apart from Real Madrid, I will be eyeing Bayern Munich on one hand. We already know Manchester City quality so I'm seeing them at the same level with Real Madrid. However Bayern Munich is going to have a new manager. They have such a strong squad but they have had a manager problem recently. If Kompany turns out to be a good choice then they should also be considered one of top contenders for the title. 

What a pity that Kane still couldn't achieve a trophy!    He is doing the best he can individually but he needs team achievements at the same time. I think there will be a start next season finally with a domestic or international achievement.
