I think it will take at least 1.5 decades for their record to be broken or even more. What Real Madrid managed to achieve is something legendary and that's why no other team will come close soon to actually have a chance to dethrone them.

I also don't think Real Madrid will win UCL in the next 4-5 years because even if they have Mbappe , that doesn't mean they will automatically win again. ( remember when Real had galacticos back in 2003-2008 ? and they never even reached an UCL final ? well that thing seems to repeat with this current team Real is building ).

Just as the name implies champions League is the most difficult league among every other leagues because is the assemble of the strongest clubs in the world to battle on who will win the trophy but in most cases there are several teams who has remained the most favoured but it seems that the quest for the trophy between all the teams are very strong next season, so I'm confident that unlike most of the previous champions League next season champions League will be a remarkable one because there are clubs who has not been on champions League for some time so coming to the champions League next season they will never take it for granted, though it would actually be more interesting if any smaller clubs will become the champions winner because it will make the league more interesting.

In the Champions League, it is hard to predict what will happen in general. First of all, there is a reason why those teams are playing in the Champions League. They are the best team in. That's why they are able to play in the Champions League competition in the first place. So of course every team is going to have to be careful while playing in the Champions League competition. Even Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Another thing is that the Champions League competition is probably the world‘s biggest club competition ever in any sport. so it is a prestigious title to earn. That's why every team gives a special commitment to win the Champions League competition. That is also a reason why we sometimes see accidents happen, or should I say surprises  ?

Honestly I really wanted Dortmund to have the trophy again after all these years as it's been really a long time since they last had the champions league trophy. I knew Madrid had more Chance of winning the trophy than Dortmund does but I still wanted something really different from the usual, it's been Madrid having it all these years and it would have been really beautiful and interesting to have another team win it for the first time after a very long time.

Getting to the champions league finals alone is enough reason not to see Dortmund as been small for any reason, even if they didn't get to win the champions league, getting pass all the hurdles to the finals is more than enough reason to see them as been big because there were other teams who where considered bigger a d experienced who still didn't make it to the finals , some couldn't go beyond the round of sixteen but getting to the finals was the peak of the champions league and Dortmund did made it to that point which is deserving of every applaud.

Hopefully in the next season they could attempt it again having been able to get this far, they can say that have been able gather more experience in the champions league than they have had before and are now more experienced to face the champions league having more confidence and determination but Interestingly Madrid keeps getting better so chances are if they meet again, Madrid may still repeat history.

Of course, that assumption is correct. I agree that Real Madrid is very difficult to beat when they qualify for the final, in fact Real Madrid's final record is still very good since they last lost in the 1980-1981 season. Real Madrid lost to Liverpool at that time with a score of 1-0 thanks to a goal from Alan Kennedy. This is history, but since then Real Madrid have never failed to win the Champions League title every time they have qualified for the final. In total Real Madrid has won 9 titles in the last 9 finals in the Champions League, which is truly incredible regarding their record.

So I agree with you that, if a team wants to thwart Real Madrid's efforts in the Champions League, then they have to do it from the knockout stages including in the last 16, quarter-finals or semifinals. It's hard to expect Real Madrid's final record to be broken, but it's not impossible in the future.

English teams have always been many favorites in the Champions League but it is a little strange that some teams that are great in their domestic league still struggle to reach the semi-finals or the more difficult finals, is it perhaps because they are still not mentally strong?

Last season many were convinced that Manchester City would win the Champions League the season before even predicted to beat Real Madrid, the reality is not so they struggled especially Arsenal who were unable to last longer the game is a little different when the Champions League and Premier League.

Real Madrid will dominate the Champions League next season, but Manchester City are very good and will do everything they can to stop Real Madrid because Guadiola will do anything to keep Madrid out of the competition, and only Manchester City can stop Real Madrid next season because I don't see any club that can challenge Madrid next season. Arsenal and Manchester City were the toughest clubs in the Premier League last season, but both failed to reach the semi-finals. Let see how the competition you go next time. you are right Bayern Munich has many troubles since they fail to win their league competition and give up, while Leverkusen seizes the opportunity and wins the title. And now there will play the Champions League next season let see if they can perform in the competition with the tough clubs.

At the beginning of the Champions League competition last season, Dortmund was not among the favorite teams to reach the final due to their performances. However, toward the end of the competition, when I later saw Dortmund performances, I also predicted that it might be possible for them to reach the final. Dortmund's performances in the Champions League last season really surprised me because they were not in great form in their domestic league and other competitions. In the final match, if Dortmund had had some more experienced players, it might have been harder for Real Madrid to beat them.

As for now, I can't really say whether Arsenal will reach the final stage of the Champions League or not because the season has not yet started. However, based on their last season's performance, I am expecting Arsenal to perform well in next season's Champions League. But let's see what will really happen.

The last time Dortmund reached the final of the UCL was more than ten years ago. Dortmund was returning but failed to acquire the trophy because Real Madrid had stopped them from doing it last season. Dortmund was not fortunate to have Madrid as their opponent. 
We know how big the gap is between Madrid and Dortmund. I was rooting for Madrid, and they have won the UCL 15 times. The quality of the players says it all. 

But again, I wouldn't describe Dortmund as a small team. Though not as popular as Madrid, Dortmund's name was quite well known. 

It was clear and obvious that Borussia Dortmund are not going to win the champions league finals against Real Madrid. A lot supported Dortmund not because they can win it, but to also give them a chance to have a test of the champions league trophy. It was not an easy ride for them to make it to the finals of the champions league and if their effort was paid off by winning the champions league trophy, it’ll be the most joyous day in the clubs history. There were other supporting Dortmund because of their rivalry with Real Madrid as their enemy club, but in this case, you’d better face your enemy yourself than allowing a lower more competitive team to face them than you can also beat when you both meet. Real Madrid’s dominance was very higher than that of Dortmund’s, and it’s a prove that they are the better team and not just the team than an face them and win against them.

Dortmund tried their best but they miss a lot of chances in the final due to lack of experience, and Real Madrid with their Champions League experience make use of their chances well to win the title for the fifth time.

Arsenal next season?
Well, with the their performance in the previous seasons, if they sign more players they can do that, but remember that we have Manchester City,  Leverkusen, Bayern, and other teams that can also make it to the final.
I am not condemning Arsenal, I know they will try, but let’s wait and see how it goes.

If Real Madrid had not played against Manchester City in the quarter-finals, then it is very possible that last season final would have brought them together instead of Dortmund. But yes, at least Dortmund managed to reach the final even though there was no chance for Dortmund to beat Real Madrid. Indeed, that was the result last season but with this result, it will certainly motivate other teams to reach the Champions League final next season. After all, Dortmund, which is basically a team that is not considered capable of qualifying for the final match, but in reality they managed to qualify. With results like that, ofcourse it will always make the Champions League interesting, because even though there are many favorite teams, but in reality non-favorite teams can also make surprises like Dortmund last season.

The Champions League is the goal of all teams in the European league league so far, in addition to aiming to get the Champions League trophy as a prestigious achievement, of course playing in the Champions League will automatically raise the team prestige to be better and of course getting money from every Champions League match can make the club finances stable,  Last season Madrid became the champion of the Champions League and of course we can see how Madrid can be quite tough and consistent to play until reaching the final round.

Indeed last season we did not see any fierce competition from the English League team to become the challenger for the Champions League title after one by one English teams suffered defeats, but I don't think that can be a reason for us to say that the English league is losing their strength in the Champions League at the moment, besides, we also cannot equate the competition in the English league and the Champions League at the moment because indeed the two have had a different atmosphere all along, if you say the English league lost success after failing to reach the final last season,  Of course I hope you won't say that the Bundesliga is much better at the moment after Dortmund were able to reach the Champions League final.

I think Pep Guardiola felt the shortcomings that his team had so it was difficult to beat Madrid last season, even though in the previous season Manchester City was able to beat Madrid with a landslide score and get the treble winner, but unfortunately last season they failed to stop Madrid and Manchester City were not as good. Previously, I had felt that there were deficiencies in their back line and also their front line which lacked confidence and productivity when facing a strong and difficult team like Madrid.

I think Pep Guardiola will probably recruit new players to play next season because Madrid is getting stronger after the arrival of Mbappe in the front line, Pep Guardiola must strengthen his back line so that he can defend well, it is too easy to make mistakes at the back so goals are often conceded because blunder, I also hope that next season Manchester City's back line is really better than last season, to be honest, the players in their back line were still not that good last season because there were a lot of communication errors on the field, unnecessary mistakes often occurred. Dortmund doesn't have enough mentality to be champions so only Manchester City will be able to stop them maybe next season.  

Most of the world as seen on many other discussion platforms and sites are even more on the side of Real Madrid considering the kind of strength they appear to be amassing in the coming season, it's mainly the other teams and ofcourse their fans who will be against Madrid and very likely it will be when they happen to be playing against Madrid, many others will literally be supporting Madrid especially in times when their team isn't playing a game or isn't playing against Madrid.

It's always usually for the vast majority to want to be with and support where strength lays and that's why Madrid is very likely to get the massive support they will be getting from both their original fans and other supporters who may have loved their strength and would want to share in their anticipated victories throughout the season. In the champions league already, most persons are on their side especially those teams who didn't get to qualify for the champions league. Another set of people who will be in complete support of Madrid would be the mbappe fans, they will be supporting Madrid for the sake of mbappe playing in Madrid.

The rest others who will be against Madrid for obvious reasons will also watch Madrid and probably at some point Amy support but very certainly, everyone cannot be supporting Madrid neither can everyone or the world be against Madrid as you did put in the opening of your statement. It's of a good interest that other smaller teams got to qualify for the champions league and they are all going to be equally given the opportunity to compete at the same level with equal privileges .

The appeal of the Champions League is higher than the Europa League, Club World Cup, European Super Cup and other domestic leagues. The level of competition in the Champions League is more competitive, only the teams that are able to maintain their best performance will survive. The big teams will try to beat each other in order to become the best club in Europe, Real Madrid, who managed to beat Dortmund in the final, became the best club this season.

Anyone who qualifies for the Champions League must be ready to compete with strong teams from different leagues. It is not easy to win trophies in this competition because the level of competition is very tight. Weak teams or those that are unable to maintain their best performance will be eliminated more quickly and only strong teams always make it through to the final. Clubs that want to win this competition must build their squad to a high level, Real Madrid and Manchester City are the clubs that most consistently maintain the quality of their squad at a high level. It's no wonder why Real Madrid wins the UCL trophy so often because they always consistently maintain their performance.

So far Arsenal looks good when they don't have a striker who is focused on being a goal scorer, but as time goes by we can also see that this will be a problem for them in the future. Because if they don't score goals, no matter how good they play, they won't be able to win, just like you said. They always play with a false nine like Manchester City did before they got Erling Haaland.
Actually, Real Madrid had the same problem after Benzema left, but the difference is that other Real Madrid players can also be good at scoring goals, so that can make them much better.
Maybe for now or this season it is not a big problem for Arsenal if they are still in the Premier League, but when they leave the domestic league that becomes their difficulty. So they have to pay attention to that and move early so that they don't get into trouble when the league starts. The reason is that they have to wait until the transfer market opens again if they don't prepare in the transfer market now.

A thing sounds really interesting to me in the Champions League. You know how much Premier League teams are strong normally. The league itself is called as the most prestigious European league.  

However they are having quite much difficulties in even reaching the finale mostly. I know there are 3 title winners from the Premier League in last 6 years but I mean the general look. We don't see the domestic success in the same way as for the Champions League.

The Premier League is getting all the attention and a lot of money is pouring. Teams are paid an insane sum every year but general success rate in the Champions League isn't at great level.  

Arsenal does not have that mentality of controlling pressure at the critical time when they need to win the game. If you look at their match against Bayern, they played well but lack the spirit of struggling to make sure that they turn the game around to their favor. They could not even draw that match so that it can lead to penalty shootout.

This was the same with their match against Aston Villa was. They could not overcome the pressure on them in order to win that match and this was where City took advantage of them and won the league last season. Arsenal have a lot to learn on how they can go far in UCL, at least they are not new to the league.

That's a thing of the past now although it still sounds worth talking about, but next season no one will know for sure whether Dortmund will reach the Champions League final again. Because in every season there is always a team that is able to dominate a particular league until it reaches the final even though in the end it doesn't win as Dortmund experienced last season. Apart from that, Real Madrid still seems to be the favorite team in the race for the Champions League trophy next season, even though in each season there are definitely different things that happen in the Champions League to prevent the favorite team from winning.
