How did you manage to leave out Liverpool from your list? Or you are just waiting to see Arne slot performance before including Liverpool? Liverpool is currently joint third in the top 5 teams with most UCL trophy and only missed the tournament last season after a poor 2022/2023 EPL season finish. Anyway, I do agree about the Madrid part because they'd want to win it again. This time, for Mbappe.

I don't know how my team will fare but I'd love to see them compete strong and possibly win it. I'm tipping Liverpool with a 25% chance here.

that's true. It was perfect until they had Ronaldo as well as Karim Benzema. But after losing them both, real Madrid doesn't have pure striker yet. But the recent announcement of Kylian Mbappe to exit PSG and joining Real Madrid, makes madrid fan happy and it seems Real Madrid is going be more stronger and better chance of winning the Champions League in next session. Dortmund was also a strong team but real Madrid defeated them with 2 goals and proved themselves again for the 15th time without Kylian Mbappé. So you can think what will happen with Kylian Mbappé. But Manchester City can't be neglected. Who knows, we may see changes in Manchester City too. But majority will go with Real Madrid as a next season winner

Was it not just an issue that players have played too much and having less time to rest? With more games in the champions league even with more quality players in the teams to improve player rotation, the teams are still going to be affected in their respective leagues.

Maybe the new changes to the competition will make the competition not to become too easy for Real Madrid to defend again, it is possible that these changes will negatively affect them and make them not be able to defend their trophy.

Real Madrid having won the champions League a whooping 15 times are all set to win it the more. Even with a complete squad they added Mbappé to the team again making it more deadly. I am scared the Champions League will become farmers league. If there are no internal crisis between Vini Junior and Mbappé, it will be so difficult to win Real Madrid.

Well, as you said, it is only Manchester city that has that strength to compete with Real Madrid in the Champions League. Honestly, I do not think that next season is an underdog season.

I would vote Real Madrid to win the title again next season and with Mbappe I would vote twice for Real Madrid.

At least we should wait till the season starts and see how every club will be performing before we can predict who will be winning the next champion league tittle. Real Madrid won the last champion league, people are already thinking they will be winning the next champion league also. Anything can happen, I know Real Madrid will want to win the champions league again next season, but other teams will also be fighting for it. We all saw how Dortmund surprises everyone last season, I never expected them to get to the champions league final. So let’s wait till the season start, and we will see how each team will be performing.

I wasn’t satisfied with how Real Madrid played in the last champions league, we saw how they played in the final, Dortmund had opportunity to win the league title just that they missed all there  opportunities. Seriously I won’t really be saying Real Madrid will be winning the trophy next season, but I know they will try their possible best to do that.

True, the new format is quite interesting and the downside from this new format is, there will be 2 additional matches for each club in the group stage.
Most of big clubs with ambitions to win the Champions League will definitely buy a lot of players in this summer transfer window, they will need some good players for the reserve team, especially for clubs that will take part in many competitions

And Im not sure why the eliminated clubs cannot take part in the Europa League, because it will only cause the prestige of the Europa League to decline.

Giving a team like Leverkusen, Munich, Inter, and Arsenal just one percent chance of winning the champion league looks unfair to me. These teams should at least have 10% while the percentage of Real Madrid and Manchester City should be slightly reduced. Barca, AC Milan, and Bayern Munich will be coming next season with new coaches, so we should expect a better performance from them.

So we should now speculate that with the arrival of Mbappe, Real is now unstoppable. With the kind of strikers the club can boast of currently, I am sure that any defense will be scared of Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti will have to focus more on building the midfield and the defense. Football is unpredictable and the UCL is the game of champions, so no club should be underrated.

There’s no doubt that as the defending champions and how their squad is been strengthened for the next season, you’ll know that they are still the favourites to win the game. Manchester City as always been the one that can stop them, but with what we are foreseeing in those squads when compared for the next season, Manchester City won’t have much chance to win and overtake the triumph of Real Madrid next season. With Pep Guardiola everything is possible but I want to see some actions in them when the new season begins, before I will be compelled that they will do well next season and stand a chance for the champions league trophy against Real Madrid.

Well no one can deny the fact that Real Madrid are probably the strongest team currently now in the world but  when it comes the competition that hasn't already started saying Real Madrid would claim the champions league for me is going to hard despite the fact that they have all the likes of mbappe and the reason why I say this is because all other teams will be out for them to make sure that they don't win the trophy again.

Everything is focused on Real Madrid after bringing Mbappe, I actually agree with that statement because Real Madrid's squad is unquestionable but the chances of other teams beating Real Madrid are still there, there is always a gap where they can beat it, don't underestimate other clubs.

I feel that clubs from the Premier League have a lot of experience, especially Manchester City, whose squad is still OK, but they will not be discouraged even though Madrid now has Mbappe, club coaches always have their own strategies to win their clubs.

Based on the news circulating, the Champions League will also implement a new format and that way, it might become more interesting. But I think, even though the Champions League has a new format for next season but still, I think the strongest candidate to win the trophy will still be Real Madrid. Moreover, next season Mbappe will also play for Real Madrid and with these factors, of course Real Madrid will have an even better chance. Because after all, it seems like there is still no team that is truly capable of becoming a strong competitor to Real Madrid in all leagues. I myself want to put Real Madrid in first place as a candidate to win the UCL next season and Man City in second place. • There is no more group stage, it is going to be rather a league just as in its name.  
• There are going to be 36 teams instead of 32.
• Every team are going to play against 8 different teams, half of them home games and the rest is away.
• Top 8 finishers are qualifying for last 16 directly. The teams placed from 9th to 24th are playing a two-legged playoffs to earn their way through last 16. The remaining teams in the league are eliminated.
• There is no more dropping to the Europa League as of now.

The new format looks interesting but it is likely to be fun for now I think. But will this matter for Real Madrid after signing Mbappe? I don't think so.  

I know that those two clubs are the favorite next season but it doesn't mean that they will be the winner next season. I cannot give my prediction now because the league have not started, and I have not seen the performance of the players in various clubs. It is until when next season starts that I can give a good speculation on this.

I don't want to start using this season to judge next season, because we saw a lot of surprises from small clubs this season and next season might be the same. There might be some unforeseen challe he's might might be a hinderanceto these big clubs next season, but let's watch and see what happens during the window transfer and the beginning of next season.

The Champions League season is over and Real Madrid is celebrating the title after finishing the season. Real Madrid became the champions this season and secured their 15th title by becoming champions while Dortmund finished as runners-up this season. A new season will start in a few days and based on how each team is buying new players and building their squads, it can be said which team is the favorite for next season's Champions League tournament. However, Real Madrid and Manchester City will always be among the favorite teams in the Champions League tournament.

With the new format available, the 2024/2025 season will be even more challenging. Those of us who are fans of the European Champions League certainly understand the new format regarding what is new and what is still the same as the previous format.

If in the 2023/24 season Real Madrid is the winner, in the 2024/25 season it is not certain that Real Madrid will have a large percentage as a team that has the opportunity to win the title.
Apart from Real Madrid and Manchester City, 34 other teams are ready to do their best. Of course not all, but several teams from well-known leagues will be the teams that will thwart the dominance of Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Mbappe's effect will not necessarily ensure that Madrid has a great chance even this season of winning its 15th title without Mbappe.

Anyway the upcoming champions league season of 2024/2025 will be a pretty good season with lots of expectations from each of the qualified teams. Real Madrid have become so formidable that we all can easily predict them but let's not forget that there are still other good teams that can still compete with Real Madrid even though they got more stronger squad now that Kylian Mbappe will be featuring for Real Madrid. It will be a much anticipated champions league season but until the season begins we can't really predict the strength of each teams now.

When your club best player for about 3-5 season leaves the club it is always very difficult to be able to replace him because he’s an all round exceptional player and there are no much players like that. This is the case of PSG and replacing Kylian who’s helped to win them the title for the past 3 years. His presence alone gets other opposition team scared, talk more of his performance when the game begins.

 Some names have been mentioned and I think they are mot bad especially the youngsters from Serie A. The players will just need to quickly blend to the French style of football and Enrique’s pattern and step by step try to improve themselves rather than letting the pressure of being like Kylian be on them. The coach will have more of the work to do because most of the time he must try to help the new player mental strength to avoid him being weighed down by the thought of replacing Kylian.

 Another thing is he ought to try and make sure the player blends fast so as to be able to get the best performance from the player. The club will need to give him benefit of doubt and let him sign who he feels will be essential and be able to help the club out of the situation and I trust him to be ae to get the best off this team. If he can successfully come out of this stage then they can sure be ready to challenge for the UCL in subsequent season.
